This place is awesome as it does a great job at serving home style curries, rice and starters when you want a comforting meal ! Love the staff for their genuine work and attention to detail making sure every customer is well taken care of . We love the mango prawn curry , chicken lollipop which is our son’s absolute favorite😂 . Keema Pav was a hit - totally satisfied with the portion size (considering my hubby forgets we decided to share prior to placing the order 🤣). Many more dishes to try and this ones going to be one in our go to list of restaurants

This is one of the oldest place in Karama that we have been visiting everytime we crave chinese food. It has the perfect GOAN vibe, good music, amazing staff who suggests us new dishes everytime we go there. Being vegetarians, we dont feel left out as the chef makes us a variety of foods with different tastes. We have been to this place a couple of times and taken our guests here too. Everyone enjoyed going here and loved the food and service. It actually kinda gives a homely feel when we visit them everytime. Thank you team @Eric's for serving us good food with good mood :-)

I really like the food here, they do some great seafood dishes in coastal spices and also have an Indo Chinese menu. Today I called for Mutton Croquettes, Fish Koliwada and a portion of Prawn Tawa masala. The Mutton Croquettes here are my all time favourite. The Fish Koliwada tasted amazing too, it was fresh and crispy and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The Prawn tawa is a mix of green and red masala and is a bit on the spicy side but goes perfectly well with breads or steamed rice.

Ordered Tandoori chicken lollipop. 7 small wings pieces for 30 Dirhams. Taste was just ok. Not value for the price. Marination was not blended well to the meat & artificial colour was sticking in my hand even after washing with soap.

The prawn dishes had 3 pieces and 5 pieces, which we checked with the waiter and he confirmed that's the number of pieces they add.. balchao is made with dried prawns not even frozen or fresh prawns and they try to conceal it with the masala. The food coloring in the prawn mango curry left the fingers discolored and the color is yet to go after 2 washes with soap. Careful when they recommend the garlic pao.. overpriced buns at 6 AED! per piece. The only positive thing I can say about this place is it must be super profitable, given the prices the charge for serving artificial, dried & preserved stuff. The Margins must be killer. This was my experience, but feel free to try it yourself as the overall rating is good. So highly recommend"not to order" prawns balchao, prawns mango, and the pao.. Highly recommend leaving after you have the soup!

Had to wait about 30 to 40 mins to get my order. Food was piping hot. Staff was courteous. Food was decent. We ordered the crab meat soup which had a strong taste but can be fixed with some pepper. For starters we ordered the chicken lollipop which had good quantity. For mains we ordered the Thai green curry (greens a bit dull but maybe because of the quantity of coconut milk) and rice which was flavourful. Lastly we ordered the carrot halwa with icecream which was decent. Overall the wait time makes the experience sour but definitely worth a visit for the food.

Our never ending crave for seafood ended us in this restaurant. Beautiful theme with lovely Goan Konkani ambience. Their Seafood Manchow soup a must try as well as some other dishes which we ordered were Goan Sol Kadi, Goan Kingfish fry, Goan prawns curry and jasmine steamed rice. There was this Person called Sitaram who took our order and assisted through out and was very friendly. Must visit and recommended place for seafood lovers! Speciality of this restaurant is most of the people kannada, and Goan language. I would definitely visit this restaurant again to try out their different receipe’s. Thank you team for the wonderful dinner.

Food was not prepared well. Prawns were dry and too spicy, tava fried fish was way too dry, over cooked and not spiced and seasoned well. Vindaloo mostly tasted of spicy tomato purée which wasn’t cooked through well and hints of vinegar - didn’t taste like authentic vindaloo at all. Such tasty food. Ordered the gian prawn curry rice and the tawa king fish fry. It was fantastic. Also the mango lassi was so creamy and tasty. For starters we ordered the rava king fish and Prawn. Very good service and good value for money. Definitely visiting again.

I have been ordering from Erics from a long time and really loved their food and fish fry but lately they have been very ignorant and delivering the fish which is frozen and tasteless. Since I had a very good vibe I did not want to post a review so I had called them saying the fish they delivered tasted bad and they told me they will deliver again but unfortunately they delivered again the frozen fish. I will not suggest anyone to order fish fry unless the restaurant assures the fish is fresh.

One of the best Goan food with a nice ambience for a cool family dinner or lunch. Soups we tried the Hot & Sour Manchow. Very nice taste. In the warmup we ordered the Koliwada Prawns & their famous Fantastik Lolypops which is found on each and every table in their restaurant. No one walks out without trying this dish. The coating is unique with a thick gravy. Better ask for less spicy if you are not used to spicy. Tawa chicken and Reshmi Tikka Biryani is one if the best dish. Add a Goan touch with Prawn curry and Bombil fry. In Desserts Honey noodle with ice cream could be a notch better

I am baffled, angry and disgusted at the mentality of the staff assisting us this afternoon.. When placing the order by sister told him to guide us accordingly on the how much would be sufficient instead of us over ordering..He has the audacity to BODY SHAME my little sister denoting that she shouldn't worry about the quantity being too much etc...as in she would easily be able to eat whatever. This was what he meant... my sister did not appreciate the comment from the staff at all and strongly condemned him before she broke into tears. Being a vegetarian, I still crave for Chinese food at a Goan restaurant. This place is apt to satisfy your cravings for spicy Chinese food. I've eaten at Eric's Karama outlet and decided to visit this outlet on a weekend evening presuming that this place would be quieter and lesser crowded. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this outlet also seems to be popular. With neat interiors and good service, this place is for worth a bookmark.

Eric's is truly a hidden gem in Dubai. I used to dine in at Erics and it always perfect. I ordered butterchicken and chicken biryani today and its crazily better than Gazebo! And not to mention the price are very reasonable as well. Well done, Erics! Awesome as usual :)

The food quantity is not at all worth the price. A table spoon doesn't even go into the container completely, the quantity is that inadequate. The price for a super tiny bowl of Chicken munchurian is AED 28 and the said bowl is just 7 cms in diameter. Heard a lot about this place but am very disappointed.

We were in the mood to eat some authentic fish curry and decided to try Ercis bestseller items : kingfish curry and prawn curry. Both dishes were described to have coconut. Well not only was there no flavor of coconut but the taste was extremely disappointing. Both seemed like water was added to ground masala and pieces of fish thrown in. Will never order from this place again. So much for authentic goan food!

Happened to try a differnet cuisine, but was not disappointed. The place was good, cozy and had a vibe of goan ambience plus with excellent customer service. We were new and wanted to try there authentic goan dishes only, since their were alot , we tired only 5 dishes referred by there staff. 1 Fantastic Lollypop 2 chicken Taipei I would definitely say these were excellent and would recommend and was out of the box. A real feel of goan flavour and tasty 😋.These are starters The rest 3 Beef Vindallo 4 Mutton Pepper fry 5 Murgh Bangara Tikka Plus with Rice and Naan. The main course didn’t go well as suggested from the 3 mains. i would prefer Murgh Bangara , the rest two was not so good with taste or flavours. But thats not it, there are more dishes to try though.

A pleasantly charming restaurant situated in the intricate lanes of karama. The restaurants interior boasts of a family atmospheric feel, from the dated pictures on the wall to the warm welcome by the staff and manager. The outside of the restaurant is distinctive to the old Goan houses back in Goa, from the windows to the lighting and the quaint plant pots hanging by the exterior. And like a home the food tastes of a mother’s cooking. The food is not only of a Goan cuisine but also branches out to various other regions of India covering a variety of appetising dishes. All the dishes are exceptional in taste from the curries to the starters and dessert. The flavour itself reminds one of the phrase “ A home away from home” that in Itself should say more then we could about Eric’s and so never do we miss the opportunity to dine in at one of our favourite establishments. Dishes that were ordered were the Goan prawn curry, Grilled tandoori prawns and the Chicken cafreal all of which were accompanied by a bowl of steaming white rice.

Love the ambiance of this quaint little restaurant tucked in the lanes of Karama. Ordered their prawn biryani - which was light and tasty, the coastal chicken - a rich red semi-dry dish for chicken lovers and their Mint Cooler drink which was extremely refreshing. One of our family's favourite Indian restaurants for a few simple reasons: 1. Ambiance is quaint & better than most Indian eateries 2. Value for money cannot be bettered. Quality is excellent, & prices very reasonable 3. Service is friendly & as regulars we are always welcomed warmly 4. Parking spots (paid on weekdays) always available outside Although it is a Goan restaurant, we have ended up ordering invariably dishes from other regions: Mutton Pepper Fry ( our top favourite), Malai Chicken Kebab, Aloo Methi ( excellent) etc. One feedback for the management would be to increase the meat portions in the Mutton Pepper Fry which has normally not more than 4 pieces? That would be our only point for improvement. We have recently moved towards South Dubai, but still make the 35km drive to get our dose of Eric's !

The order was picked up at 12noon, n lunch was served around 4pm. At the time of serving the baby carrots on the dish were beginning to look slimy. And the filling of chicken liver n chicken franks started going off as well. So its evident that this dish was cooked the previous day and was under cooked. Thus resulting in it getting slimy so fast. The 2nd dish has to be trashed as it could not be eaten for dinner. It would be good for Eric's to consider their methods of cooking especially for occasions like this. The dish was not cheap Aed130/ for which one was barely eaten and the second one was thrown in the bin. Eric's was very casual about it when they were contacted. It felt as though it did not matter at all. For a client who eats and orders regularly it was a disappointment as I had guests from overseas for Christmas Lunch.

So so so disappointed....of the 4 starters and 2 main course dishes we ordered, there was not a single thing that had any flavour. The prawn fry was tasteless, the fish fry was only tangy, fantastic lollipop (their signature dish) was super sweet!!! The mutton chops were stale and the beef vindaloo was uneatably tangy.

We went there on a Friday, the place had just opened up. It was my first time here and I fell in love with the food! It was amazing and delicious. We ordered Tom yum soup, chicken liver pero, prawn chilli and bone marrow. Loved Tom yum and chicken liver. I couldn’t stop with chicken liver but it is definitely spicy. Prawn chilli was pretty good too. Bone marrow was just not my type. It had a sweetish taste in curry which I don’t prefer but my friend liked it. Would definitely recommend this place and would go again too!

I was looking for a good restaurant to experience some fine Goan cuisine and then one of my friends had suggested this place . So we had come here for lunch and had a beef starter followed by jeera rice and a Goan chicken dish for the main course . The food was delicious and too good to be missed . The quality has dipped to a level that for first time since they opened my family now refused to eat at erics or have delivered by them. The chicken fried rice , machurian and lolipop - the chicken pieces had a distinct stench and foul smell .. we had to throw the entire food packets. When poultry is frozen, thawed and refrozen that causes the chicken to smell.. ppl at erics i hope to read this ... with quality like this the years of reputation you build will disappear. Good luck

Finally made it to this place. Full house on Friday so better prepare yourself for some waiting outside before you can get yourself a table.. service is good and prompt though some waiting due to rush but no worries.. Eric’s known for Goan cuisine but they have also have great Chinese cuisine..We ordered their popular fantastic chicken lollipop almost same as apple chicken know elsewhere.. slightly sweet but they managed to correct it back with no success.. prawn noodles, sczhewen rice and veg Manchurian... had to pack off the leftovers but the food was good and definitely matched our palate. Tried the sol kadi and loved the spiciness though slightly thick in texture, I guess they add sattu. Overall a good resturant, Sagar our server was very quick with his service.. would love to try their signature Goan dishes next time 👍👏 thanks for the food and service🙏

This Restaurant is a DEFINITELY a hidden gem in Karama! With its lovely ambience which makes you feel like you're at a relaxing home stay making you feel really cozy along with the appetizing food which just makes everything even more better! Love the place!

Their food is good and we were their regular customers but recent times the services we got from the staffs were terrible. Yesterday we literally had to walk out of the restaurant since we didn't get our order even after waiting for 45 min while the other tables were served with the same dishes. Wouldn't have minded waiting but atlest keep the customers informed it the kitchen is busy or having some other difficulty.

Had been to the restaurant on weekend.The ambiance and the set up was cool.Kids also enjoyed the food.Overall experience was good.Service was good too too.I would recommend the place to all Bombay and Goan food lovers.

We ordered chicken green masala, chicken burnt garlic rice, fantastic lollipop, mustard nilepach and Sarson Ka saag. Everything was really tasty and loved the spice level as well. Will definitely come back. Good and friendly service.

Been visiting Eric's since it's opened up in Karama years ago. Never fails to please. They're known for their Goan dishes but they probably serve one of the best Indo-Asian around as well. Great staff, great service as always.

advice to Eric’s - get rid of your Thai section on the menu. Dishes are disappointing! Eric’s has a good reputation for their goan food and we love everything usually. We decided to try a different cuisine (horrible decision) we got the following delivered 1) prawn Manchurian - this was the only dish that was good. 2)pad Thai - the noodles were over cooked and had mushroom and capsicum😅 (I would say this was their version of Hakka noodles with a fancy name) 3) prawn pot rice- this is boiled rice, capsicum and prawn mixed together with absolutely no flavor, was super bland and tasted so bad. Pot rice is generally this aromatic delicious rice served in a gravy with chicken and mushroom. I called the restaurant and mentioned how bad the pot rice was, returned it and all the guy on the other end said was I’m sorry and kept it 😂excellent customer service Eric! Thank you. pics below are from after we had eaten - bottom line meal not enjoyed.

A Happy Foodie .

This was my first find of a Goan /Konkani cuisine restaurant in Dubai . Eric's is a wonderful place filled with people on the weekends . Though they have a grand menu which perhaps has diminished the Goan cuisine ( perhaps for commercial reasons ) . The starters were good coconut prawns , had a fried pomfret ( lived upto my expectation , though the size was lil small ) and a chicken coconut curry . Overall the ambience is good and the food taste's good as well .
