مطعم مكسيكي زرت مطاعم الشيكو في السعوديه كانت ممتازه لكن فرع هدا الفرع ماعجبني الدجاج محروق من بره وغير مستوي

مطعم مكسيكي مرة لذيذ وجلساته مرة حلوة على الجي بي ار

الاكل حدهم سلطات وبس العماله الي عندهم دايخه مالها خلق تشتغل

وقف بعيد وتعال تمشى على رجوالك لنه المكان بطل ومنها تهضم بعد الاكل)))

We tried this cuisine for the first time, food was good 😌, service was quick, they even prepared guacamole 🥑 live with all the fresh ingredients 😍 . Just Delicious 🤤 loved the cheesy fries 🍟

Food was not good, I ordered beef tacos and the meat was overcooked and really tough; the tortilla was really stale and soggy; the spanish rice with the meal was too oily; and the beans on the side was bland. Also seemed like the food has been sitting out for long too, nothing tasted fresh.<br/><br/>Also got cheese & bean nachos; which was about 10pcs of nachos, with each piece having so much cheese on it that it was like eating a cheese block — and not the good kind, it was overwhelming. <br/><br/>Worst mexican food I’ve had. Not authentic nor good quality food. Do not recommend this place at all. <br/><br/>Staff were nice and friendly though.

The food was really good and the whole experience felt extremely authentic. It's the first time we tried it and honestly we can't wait to come back - the "Top Shelf Fajita Quasadillas" were out of this world, would definitely recommend. <br/>The waitress was also so sweet and helpful.<br/>You also get 3 hours free parking so that's always a plus in JBR

Outside seating is very basic with plastic seats.<br/><br/>Food<br/><br/>Like most mexican places you get free chips and salsa at the start, I love that.<br/>I keep having Fajitas and really like it, but have rarely gone wrong with that at any mexican place.<br/>I would like some better hot sauces as they only have Tabasco as supposed to mexican sauces.<br/><br/>Price <br/><br/>With zomato Gold this becomes a really good place to go as a couple.in terms of value for money

Very bad meet / steak quality in the fajita , it is like a plastic or rubber not meat !! , customer service and experience was very bad , I informed them about the issue and they did nothing , I will not come here again ,

THE FOOD IS SOOOOOOOO GOOD. please come and try the fajitas, they are such a hit. So highly recommended by myself and the party of five with me.

We love this place and we come from time to time to celebrate special events, and last time we were there was on Thursday (6th Feb 2020). And we were celebrating 2 occasions.<br/>Starting we ordered 6 dishes, 5 of them were differe dishes of Fajitas and one Casadia. And they have served the complementary corn chips, and it was not fresh and harder than what we used to have.<br/>The Fajitas were very low on quantity, as protein and also very very low on vegetables, although that we have instructed and requested the manager prior ordering that we want them to take care of the vegetables quantities, we found out that they have served lower quantities on all. And the rice and beans which are served along, were very very poor on quality and not even close to what we used to have. The soft drinks which we ordered didnt have any Soda.<br/>Conclusion that this place was a very nice and tasty Mexican place, but they are strongly insisting on making us stoping going there, and ask other people to do the same.

Horrible place to go, wasn’t good at and it took them more than hour to serve us in an empty restaurant. God know how long will they take if the restaurant is full.

Guacamole had too much lime, sourcream was hot, and enchiladas had a weird aftertaste. However, salsa and chips were good. Some quality checks will help tis place.

They have the worst service and the dirtiest couches; full of stains and unwashed fabric. And don’t even bother placing an online order; they don’t use Zomato staff... they use their own incompetent delivery patrol who come bearing cold food an hour too late. Looks like their end goal is for you to somehow sit on their dirty couches instead. Avoid them like the plague. Honest review.

If you are craving for great fajita El chico is the place.<br/>We tried a mix of two fajitas, beef - chicken and chicken and fish both were awesome with great sides and perfect in taste.<br/>Definitely recommended.

Food was awesome! Definitely going back to this place. Staff were nice and friendly plus they had huge serving for the food. Fajita is my favorite also the complimentary nachos. :)

In the old times, el Chico was the place I always wanted to go to when we'd be in JBR. Everything was lovely. However, recently the prices went sky high and the quality was left to decay. The ambiance is amazing, though.

First time to eat at El Chico. We ordered the smoked bbq ribs and refillable. It was good. We were hoping to try their stuffed potato sides but it wasnt available. The staff were kind enough to give us other options too like mashed potato and vegetables. <br/><br/>Overall, we liked the experience especially the super polite and friendly staff. 🤗

Came here twice, with my friend and my family. Great staff and really friendly, great ambience and definitely great food. I loved the chicken quesadilla it's definitely a must try. Will definitely go back<br/>

After such a long time came across a mexican restaurant which looked authentic by decor. You can excuse the serving staff for looking philipino rather than mexicans - however they were extremely courteous and understanding. <br/>Ordered a main course - Chicken Enchiladas. The portion was quite big with 3 enchiladas. Requested for mexican beans to be replaced with mash which they willing obliged. Requested a mango daiquiri which was a bit low in flavour maybe because it was a mocktail. Finished it with a brownie skillet sundae which came sizzling with melted butter (yes, thats quite a change from the usual hot chocolate sauce). <br/><br/>Casually asked the manager why no complimentary nacho and dip was served before food. He politely apologized for a delay in receiving their shipment and also offered to do the dessert complementary in return. These gestures sometime go way beyond the food and festivities a place comes to be known for.

I would have loved to try this place again, and rate then 5 stars. I was so excited to try the place and the menu, which is full of variety. But all was ruined with the take out experience, very disappointing way of wrapping the food to go! How come a main course with burrito with sauce , rice, beans would all be put in one plastic non partitioned plate. I always carry take out food carefully just so as nothing would spill, so to open the food a few minutes later and find it all over each other, it was a mess, we weren't able to enjoy the taste of anything, nd of course the way the food looked with each side over the other was not encouraging. Why we weren't even warned about it so wr could have asked for separate plates or wouldn't even take the food as take out. Wasted experience with disappointing results.

We wanted to have nachos so visited as the pictures looked tempting. We ordered fajita nachos, beef tacos and enchilada dinner. The nachos were cold and soggy so got them replaced but still those were very soggy a complete failure. Tacos were good and enchiladas were so so. <br/><br/>Overall pretty disappointed as i was in the mood for good mexican food but it turned out to be an utter disappointment.

This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. One star is only for the location.<br/>It's the first day of 2019 and I didn't want to begin on such a negative note.<br/>However if this saves people money, then why not.<br/>First, the food is tasteless and insipid.<br/>You can tell that everything is out of a can and hardly any fresh ingredients have been used.<br/>Even the sour cream was runny! <br/>The waitress told me that they did not have cheese for the dish I had requested!<br/>Secondly the service was poor. <br/>Slow and non smiling waitresses! <br/>I will never ever go there again

well, there’s nothing but the restaurants decorations to really compensate the torture we went through. we tried tacos and burgers. they were tasteless, below average. i don’t even understand how can someone make vegetables tasteless, if they only used their skills to craft something delicious lol. nevertheless, the waiters were never there we had to wait a couple of times for our drinks to be refilled and the food took FOREVER to get to our table. I would NOT visit again. I wish for improvements in the future.

I have been waiting for the order almost an hour over the promised time. After this, got a call from the restaurant asking to wait 30 more minutes. That is called disrespect, not just poor service.

Good complementary nacho chips while you enjoy your choice of food. I was craving those chips (not the same as nachos). Their fajita is also good and has fresh guacamole:) ok value for price

I got very sick after eating there !!! Hospitalised<br/> <br/>It used to be my favourite Mexican restaurant. After today ill never go back<br/>The food and appetiser was 35 min late. The my Fajita came with no capsicum, wife’s burrito brisket had almost no meat in it. Even kids taco was not that good.<br/>The other issue is that one dish price is now rocket high, AED90 of a single dish !!!! I remember when it was like half the price and 100 times better. Unfortunately, since the menu change (maybe last year or this year), the quality has gone down. <br/><br/>Appetizers:<br/>1) Fajita nachos with beef - nice flavored beef, but was a bit boring. <br/>2) Top shelf guacamole - less flavor than previously, tomatoes and avocado were not very ripe, so the flavor was lacking. <br/>3) Fried avocado - more oily this time. Could easily finish it before, this time, the oil flavor was very strong and made an aftertaste. <br/><br/>Miss how the food used to be.

The overall space seems old and in the need of some TLC. The AC is loud and super cold, almost uncomfortable.<br/>The staff was okay and the appetizers were tasty such as the chili fries and the table top guacamole.<br/>The main dish was just okay, I had ordered the chicken fajita salad and did not really enjoy the chewy nature of the chicken or the "not fresh" guacamole.<br/>If ever I went back it would be just for appetizers.

Don’t waste your money. The food is oily, bland and typically American. We ordered beef quesadillas and a combo platter with chicken and beef and did not like anything we ordered.

My partner and I had dinner here two nights ago and he suggested me to try the El Caballero. I did let him try the food first since he tried it before and given that he’s Texan(and loves Mexican foods too). He was very disappointed as the food was terrible, t’was dry and bland. We were advised by the Manager that they’re not using the specific and right ingredients for those items. That was awful and a bad experience. 😕

Good presentation, food was served super hot I loved it, very friendly staff, the avocado fries was missing salt& I felt the fiesta rice was a bit too dry <br/>Otherwise everything was super good <br/>Will visit again for sure

One from the worst restaurant I ever dine in, very bad food we didn’t continue any of our dishes ,, presentation bad food taste bad, employees very bad welcoming, she came to our table to hi none any word just standing looking at us like what do u want, only one waitress to serve all the tables

It was my 2nd time visit after many years.<br/>Staff is very freindly. We ordered two dishes. Pasta was really bad. I think they completely forgot to add spices in it. It was tasteless. But we complained and they took an action immediatetly and made a new one which was really good but little bit oily.<br/>Overall experience was good. Amibiance is also nice. Best thing is they are on Entertainer vouchers.

Went there for Iftar with some friends last month and nothing was good. We waited over an hour for the food to arrive and even then they forgot somebody's order and it was never prepared. The food was completely tasteless and overpriced, and the manager tried to placate us by trying to compensate us for the six soft drinks we had ordered, when in fact the chips, salsa, and the sodas were the only edible things on the table. A couple of my friends felt sick afterwards, and we all left the restaurant hungry and disappointed.

This restaurant used to be great before, and by before, I meant 5-6 months before. However, Yesterday i was shocked by how disappointing the food and Service was.<br/><br/>There was no server or waiter available to help us, and we were left standing for minutes at the door. <br/><br/>However, once we were seated and the order was made, the food took AGES to be prepared (1 Hour and 15 mins to be specific) and after all of this, the Ribs i’ve ordered were undercooked and bland in taste and the loaded potatoes were dry as a rock (Which means that it was old or left over).<br/><br/>I left very disappointed with how poor their food and service was, and i’m probably never coming back again.

Having not had Mexican food in over a month, I was quite excited to visit this place. However, upon arriving, was very disappointed with the service. The servers took at least 20 minutes to speak with two members of our party. Some who had arrived earlier had been waiting for a whole hour with no food. Even when the food did arrive, one person's order was forgotten. Furthermore, for the meals that did arrive, the rice was rock hard, the sour cream on the rock hard potato was nearly expired yoghurt, the grilled chicken was chicken sausage, the fish was inedible, and the calamari rings were all crunch no flavor. Finally, even after reporting the issue that none of the people in our party had eaten, the manager did not seem to want to understand the review. I would recommend a serious improvement if you wish to attract more customers in the future and sustain.

I was looking forward to eating at El Chico with my friends for iftar. However, I left very disappointed and disgusted. We arrived at 7, and all our food came an hour later. There were only 2 waiters in service tonight, thus providing poor service. One of my friends didn't even get his food, and to make matters worse the waiters forgot what he ordered. Our food dishes were completely unacceptable. The rice was flavorless and expired, the baked potato was rock solid hard and filled with more yogurt than actual potatoes. The fish tacos were bland and flavorless, the tortilla chips had more taste than the shrimp in the fish tacos.The steak was dry and undercooked. The Burrito was soggy. Finally, the Calimari was dry and undercooked. Two of my friends felt sick after eating at this place. This is not what a restaurant should do. A restaurant should serve satisfying tasteful food, not rushed microwaved travesties.

Went there for iftar with my friends today and there was only one waiter working we ordered and the food came an hour later after we told them and it was bland, probably microwaved, the rice was old at least one day, they didn't bring one of the orders, the calimari was dry, and the sour cream in the rock hard potatos was expired.Honestly if there was a rating less than one star it would deserve it.<br/>

Dining with a friend who loves Mexican food well that went well at this place loved the ambience good decor staff were very friendly. Outside sitting was the best choice here. About the food well it was spot on veg great mashed potatoes great meat well 5/5 I like my meat well done and it was spot on will dine again for sure

Hopelessly cheap staff! Total disappointment! When asked for vegetarian options they point out items stating them as cheap. So is the staff taught to humiliate vegetarians like this? Absolutely CHEAP!<br/>I loved the food there so went but next time a BIG NO NO TO EL CHICO!

Was tempted to try out this place because of the fresh guacamole. It was terrible. Really slow and poor service. The main course was cold and the corn in my rice seemed stale.<br/>Not coming back here for sure!

Me and my wife ordered 2 dishes from this place through zomato, reataurant confirmed order and put delivery time 45min. I am writing this review and the food is still not yet here and we are 2h30min since original delivery time! I’m not going to write any opinion, I believe the above is enough to judge the delivery service of this place!!<br/><br/>Add On:<br/><br/>After receiving my order, the bill on my order states the time the order was punched in the system is 10:02, while when I called the restaurant at 9:45, they said it’s on the way!!!

My order is not with me yet after a delay of 74 mins. The restaurant does not answer the calls. Delivery guy called at 70th min of delay saying i am in Marina what is your location? The restaurant and my apartment are 10 mins away and this is the service i get!!! Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. I even hate the food you will deliver with 1.5 hours delay (if not more).

On one weekend, I just woke up and I had this sudden craving of eating Mexican food. So we headed to El Chico for it's famous Mexican food! When we entered...I found the ambience quite colourful and appeasing to the eye..with light music in the background...it seemed perfect enough to brighten the mood. We happened to order Taco's and Enchiladas (Vegetarian). We were greeted with Tortillas and warm Salsa sauce and they were absolutely tasteful! Then came Enchiladas! They tasted exactly what I craved for but Tacos weren't all that great. I was expecting them to be tastier but Nonetheless I was happy with enchiladas and it quite made my day! Servers are very warm and pleasant here! I am surely coming again for Enchiladas ! 😋

Me and some friends checked this yesterday. Foods are not cheap as expected specifically soft drinks of AED17 which is more like sugar water and quite unreasonable.<br/>However, the most that bothered us was quality of the foods especially their sides! I understand that everything can not be prepared freshly and might be pre-cooked stuff served, but it’s quite nasty to serve fridge-cold food. Especially, where some part of your dish is felt cold in your mouth.<br/>My wife’s dish sides and the jalapeño in my dish were totally brought right from the fridge.<br/>Such a fundamental dis-consideration is offending to the customers.

Good location, friendly service , average Mexican food, the classic chicken fajitas lacked flavours, the beef tacos was good.. the complimentary nachos with red salsa at the start was not bad.

We visited the Jumeirah branch a while back and had one of the pasta, I cannot find it in the zomato menu anymore so I wonder if they have since removed it. <br/><br/>The pasta was really bad, I would not recommend it to anyone. It just tasted like pasta with some hot sauce. However, it being a Mexican restaurant you would probably have better luck with the burritos, enchiladas or tacos. The complimentary chips and salsa were good though.

Portions were generous. The live guacamole making at the table was a clever idea. Very fresh. Decor was charming and appreciated as the authentic history of over 70 years was documented in pictures. Mexican rice dish was tasty. Also sauce with brisket beef burrito. Service was a bit slow as it was a busy Friday night. Good value. Will definitely come again :-).

The perfect weather to sit outside and enjoy the fajitas and quesadillas. We ordered the both veg and non-veg versions. The non veg with chicken and the veg with mushroom. Both were good but enjoyed the veg one more. Service was good too. Nice to snack on the nachos and salsa dip.

Their mexican beef bacon burger was tasty and very well cooked. Having a delicious beef burger at jbr is honestly a treat. Highly recommended!!

Zero flavours. Frozen thick dry pieces of meat. Lousy staff. <br/>We ordered the chicken chipotle and salmon chimichuri. The chicken was thick and difficult to cut however had flavours however the salmon was thick, stiff and chewy. They didn't have sautéed veggies so we HAD to take potatoes. The French fries smelt of oil whereas the mashed ones was stiff and heavy. I questioned the salmon, the staff was dismissive and asked me to wait for the manager. The manager took a few minutes to come increasing my annoyance but was thankfully quick in his feet to replace my order with a new dish which was garlic chicken and prawns, a bad flavourkess dish again. <br/>You know what worse? They don't validate your parking ticket. Waste! Go to chilis instead!

El Chico has now become synonymous with mouth watering Mexican dishes! Absolutely amazing! It’s a bit expensive but worth the money! Hey, money is never wasted on good food, right? so head to El Chico! The lady who served us was super sweet and suggested a variety of dishes to us! The ambience is perfect to spend some quality time with friends, family and good food! Would love to visit again! 😍👌🏾

Glaucamole is amazing. <br/>They served me grilled chicken for the main course, it was cold had to send it back. The ambiance in the evening is nice.

One of the best Mexican joint. Coming for several yrs now and they have never disappointed us. Must try all their chicken preparation. Big portion and quality prep to taste authentic

During my last few visit I wasnt impressed at all and it is definitely not an authentic Mexican food. They serve deforsted meat/chicken which I personally don't appreciate specially the bill doesn't match the quality. The food was delayed due to some problems with our order, So the staff got us a complementary brownies with vanilla icecream cake was nice of them though we didn't get upset at the late order or required any compensation but they did anyway. Thanks elchico! :)

Everything at El Chico is subpar. Starting with the service. The waitresses are disinterested, slow to respond and generally unpleasant. Complimentary chips are stale and storebought. Terrible start to a meal. The offshelf guacamole is prepared table side in quite a generous portion using fresh ingredients. The only refreshing thing about this meal. Tried the burritos, fajita and tacos and they were all plain bad. It's also relatively pricey the the quality offered.

What to say about this Mexican place "El Chico". Not only amazing food but ambience as well. We ordered almost everything from the menu and was not disappointed. El Chico is locate on The Walk at JBR and serves Mexican food. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We tried this place on a weekend afternoon on a nice winter day and chose to sit outside. <br/>We ordered Guacamole to start with along with soft-drinks. The Guacamole was nice and in good quantity. <br/>Next we ordered Chicken Quesadilla and Shrimp Fajitas. The main-course was very much average. <br/>I liked the cute decor, lively atmosphere and location but the food didn’t quite meet the expectations. It’s nice but not something to remember or go again. The service was good. <br/>

This restaurant is located in JBR..this food is good but our experience was little disappointing as everything served was cold no idea why ?!?! Upon complaining the manager took the food and warmed it up in microwave oven lol anyhow the food tastes good i just hope they start serving hot !

Not a traditional Mexican haunt ! Couldn't finish shrimp tacos - horrible not fresh - slow beef brisket a lark ! Inicest thing was non Mexican fried chicken Wings !! Disappointing to say the very least not fresh & passing for a Mexican - truly not !!!! It's so bad and Second time I gave A chance !!

There is only one thing worse than being served an awful meal: being served an awful meal by waiters who have no idea how awful the food they're serving you actually is. <br/><br/>My experience at El Chico began with us being at wit's end, trying to decide where to eat on JBR and so, lured in by the welcoming smiles of the greeter standing at the door and the cool wave of AC, we stumbled into the restaurant. Upon walking in, we were met with drab, outdated decor and a shockingly empty restaurant - not a good sign so far; but we had escaped the ceaseless heat so we were happy. Our server guided us to one of their booths, and we were promptly given our menus and some complimentary tortilla chips and homemade salsa, which was actually pretty good.<br/><br/>The menu looked promising, there's no doubt about that, with a good variety of Mexican dishes and a separate children's menu and after much deliberating, we ordered the fajita nachos to start with, chicken and beef fajitas, brisket sliders, tacos, chimichanga, a quesadilla and portion of chicken strips and fries for the kids...and then we waited. <br/><br/>The children's food arrived very quickly as did our starter, and the disappointment started to set in. The kid's meals were flavourless and ended up being left untouched. The chicken strips and fries were absolutely awful because the fries had a really strange taste. We still had a little hope at this point because the nachos weren't totally awful, but by no means were they flavourful. <br/><br/>Now, on to our main courses, and where our meal really started to fall apart. The tacos were the first to arrive at our table and looked good, but unfortunately they were soggy AF, making it impossible to hold them. The fajitas were next, and they were probably the only thing on our table that was okay - not flavoursome by any means, but they were okay. The brisket sliders were an absolute joke; the buns were falling apart and looked as though someone had pieced together bits of half eaten buns together, and the so-called "brisket" tasted like day old burger patties and were certainly not brisket (on a side note, if you do want good brisket sliders, you need to check our Perry & Blackwelders because their's are flipping magnificent). Lastly, the chimichanga. This actually wasn't that bad, but it was bitingly sharp.<br/><br/>Right. So at this point we've had enough. We've been complaining throughout the meal and the manager then comes over. We explain that the food really wasn't up to scratch and he proceeds to blame it on us - that we didn't eat the tacos quickly enough so they became soft, that the slider bun was only broken apart because we held it. Naturally, we were incredibly shocked at his attitude and just couldn't wait to get out of the place. They did bring us another small plate of tacos and a singular slider afterwards, but honestly, we had completely lost our appetite by this point. <br/><br/>We paid up and left the restaurant still hungry, disappointed and frankly, a little pissed off. <br/><br/>We most definitely will not be returning to El Chico, unless anyone wishes to drag us there against our will.

Have tried almost all their mouth watering dishes and each dish had its on unique flavor. The Mexican music in the background further enhances the taste buds. The biggest issue is lack of parking so would recommend to take tram.

The food taste has reduced over the last few years. We used to enjoy the food here but the dishes just don't taste that good anymore. However very friendly and helpful staff.

Worst experience ever ! <br/>I ordered grande brisket burrito and what i had is burrito with rice and maybe 1 or 2 small pieces of brisket, I paid almost 100 AED for this!<br/>Definitely my last time ever trying this restaurant.

Great food,  complimentary tortilla chips, unlimited machine drinks (coke, iced tea, etc.) and a decent price.  Definitely a favorite of mine.

It was the second time I went for dinner at El Chico. I had combo dinner each time.<br/>I had the rancho combo which included a chicken breast, one burrito and one enchilada, all three were good and had good flavour.<br/>I had the Caballero combo which included three different enchiladas and one burrito, the burrito was nice as were the enchiladas but they were a bit repetitive in the end.<br/>My sister had brisket beef tacos which she really enjoyed.<br/>We enjoyed the little basket of thin nachos with spicy tomato deep.<br/>The refillable ice tea is nice with the liquid sugar provided.<br/>My only complaint is the fact that they advertise diet sprite on their menu but it is not available...

Had a terrible experience in this restaurant. The water from the ac was leaking throughout the time we stayed there, the service was terrible, the food was cold and the chicken was burnt and they took way too much time to re-fill the drinks and get the food ready. Never coming back again!!!

A unique Mexican restaurant with a good ambience and service offered.<br/>Along the walking bay with a good view of the super cars that are parked along.<br/>Offers a good variety of Mexican delicacies and drinks to indulge in after a walk along the bay.<br/>Will definitely treat your taste buds when you get bored with Arabic food.

We ordered the Chipotle pasta and steak sliders... The pasta was severely undercooked and the food took super long overall .... Sliders were average.. overall, disappointing...

The most horrible experience of dining I have ever had. The chipotle pasta was raw and the food quality in general was below average. I am appalled by the quality of food served with the hefty pricing it comes with. Really bad experience.

The ambience is really good with the decors like that of a typical Mexican joints. Ordered the crispy mushroom chicken and veg fajitas. Both were right up to the mark with taste and presentation. Slightly expensive but it goes with the type of setting it is in. The staff is friendly. Special mention to the nachos and salsa they give as starters.

Yesterday my friends and I decided to go eat at El Chico. Two of my friends and I ordered the slider burgers because the picture looked appetizing. The food took a decent amount of time to arrive. However, my friend received a burger with a bun that looked like it was bitten and her burgers were cold. They then brought buns that were too big for the burger. The burgers were also full of grease. The fries were average. Do not recommend the slider burgers.

It has a very inviting environment. Me and my friends had gone there for lunch however the slider burgers we ordered were cold and greasy and one of the burgers had a chunk of bread taken out we don't know if it was bitten or not?!

El Chico is one of the best Mexican food in town . As I enter the ambience itself is so good , as the staff people guide you to your table as they serve the menu and you have a look at it , it's pretty interesting . At this place I had ordered for Chicken Fajita & seafood platter . In the mean time they had served tortilla chips with the dip to me . The food was freshly prepared and served to me within 15-20 mins of time which is pretty decent . Honestly speaking the food was tasty , delicious and worth the price I had paid . Pricing wise this place is decent not expensive at all .

The food was okay, but nothing special. We had different things like an enchilada, a burrito, a taco, chili con carne. It was getting cold very fast and not a special taste...no salad or something fresh. Just okay

Decided with family to go for Thursday dinner, wanted Mexican food for a change . El Chico was a choice, service and food good .<br/><br/>Only down fall is the chicken on fajitas tasted like processed meat with a lot of marinate .<br/><br/>In my opinion chef need to change the chicken apart from that all was good.

loved the food. abit crowded and noisy when we went but the food was amazing, great service and the staff friendly. definitely visiting again.

Friendly staff and good location in JBR, but they need to explain better the menu to know more about ingredients because not everybody wants spicy and if you request something about you need it will be better repeat and confirm your order . We appreciate the complementary nachos that were delicious. <br/>It was in general fresh food with good mexican taste, really good atmosphere. I tried asadas y enchiladas that is New in the menu but was disappointing because beef quality was not really good. Also we tried El caballero that was really good and also a large chicken burrito. You can be able to use Entertainer to save money. Only last comment I ve been several times but i am feeling the quality is going down for some plates in my last visit.

Authentic Mexican taste. Had ordered taco fries for a snack.<br/>It was really cheesy and filling. potato fries topped with cheesy sauce and some vegetables and topped with a dolp of sour cream it has a good amount of cheese and quality of cheese was good.<br/><br/>The best part was the salsa with Nacho chips. Really fresh and tangy salsa. I could eat the entire bowl by myself.<br/><br/>Would love to visit again for lunch this time
