This is my favorite restaurant in dubai. I see people complaining about the service etc. it's all non sense. Everything is perfect in this place, even when it's super busy on a Thursday or Friday the service is perfect, it's the only restaurant I would take any friends or family that come to dubai because they would never forget the experience.

Black cod - best black cod in dubai, tried many others
Shashimi- you can taste the freshness
Ribeye - you grill it at your table with mushroom sauce - this is the best thing I have ever tried in 31 years, the meat melts in your mouth.

The food is excellent , with a good mix of different cuisines , the duck and the starters with Jamon and truffle oil are amazing . You also have a waiter singing opera and the atmosphere of the place with views of the city on its 37th floor , makes this place a unique restaurant in Dubai . The chef was nominated as well , ex- chef of Zuma . You also have a dj with good music at the end.
Excellent evening at Play for Valentines Day. The set menu had all the favourites and we loved it all, but particularly the pita surprise and the beef with sticky, spicy sauce. Great cocktails too and the bar has a great view of the city from up high. My only gripe is we weren't offered a non-smoking table when we reserved so assumed there was no smoking. Whilst I don't mind too much a bit of smoke, when sitting in a packed restaurant next door to cigar smokers it gets a bit much. Next time (and there will be a next time) we will insist on a non-smoking table.
Beautiful layout, great ambience, friendly helpful staff and amazing food. I could not fault this place. Definitely going back and have recommended to friends.

It’s a such a nice atmosphere 😍 I had chance to visit play Restaurant Lounge on Monday and I was asking my self “Why I didn’t visit this place before?!” I was enjoy with delicious food and amazing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and helpful 🖤 Now I can say it’s my favorite place in DUBAI 🤍
Eggs station , variety of food in small amounts of everything , fresh juices all were good but i , it is a junk food breakfast i hope it may include some healthy options in future , the restaurant reception .. all in all it is a good restaurant and i recommend it.
It was my first time at Play, but I was so amazed about this place!! The decor, the place itself is gorgeous!! I could say a very big plus would be the music, as it is one of my favorite style of music, and the sax and the viola are just the cherry on top. The place has kind of a luxurious atmosphere, which I like. I really enjoyed the rose wine, it was a different one that I did not try before. The food is very very tasty, portions are a bit small but you can manage, and if you order desserts too, you kinda take the jackpot. I’ll definitely go again.
The restaurant has a great vibe and live sax player! The drinks and sushi are delicious, the spaghetti marinara is alright. Their dessert mouthwatering. The waiters however were not knowledgeable in regards to the dishes, training could be helpful. Salma Soueidan Play Restaurant & Lounge

When here on a Monday night. The restaurant has an amazing vibe. Only tried one sushi out of the menu but was really good. Well recommended by the bartender. The cocktails was good as well and they have a good selection of Gins.
Nice restaurant and bar in H Hotel on 36th floor. Went with a group of 5 people and opted for set menu priced at Aed 350 pp. The food was well prepared and presented very well too. The ambience is also very good though the restaurant was not very busy despite being a Saturday night.
Went there for drinks and bites but I was certainly in love with their shrimp tempura and the spicy sauce served with it. I ordered it twice I was in love with it. The vibes of the lounge are amazing also the view. Do visit

The food and drinks age just incredibly tasty and original presentation. Have been for midnight brunch, quite a lot of food. Dj and sax entertainments. Pretty great vibes.

If you have an office on Sheikh Zayed Road or in the near vicinity, then you definitely have to drop by at the Play for their sumptuous International lunch buffèt. An array of dishes right from Salad to the Main course is definitely lip smacking. A must try. Love it and recommend it. 👍
We thoroughly enjoyed everything..salut to the chef he did amazing. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.. the atmosphere was calm and chic with great lighting. We loved the truffle fries they were to die for and their signature elies if you are an avocado fan then we definitely recommend that. The mango pannacota with crumbles coconut icecream was light and refreshing full of greaft exotic flavours,

Great ambience and music performances on their Thursday night, violin player was really good. Going to food part, it tastes very good but the menu is limited ... Drinks menu is another story.

I loved the ambience, the food and the service! The quality of the food is outstanding and the flavor is there! The only tiny complain I have is that the crispy duck salad is slightly overdressed. Otherwise, it was perfect! Definitely recommend it.

I used to think Zuma was #1 until i had a go at this place. Try the Monday night Brunch, Good music and good food, what more could you ask for.
The restaurant is massive, so there is a very 'open' and 'free' feel to it. Service was great, and the food was super light and flavorful. As a vegetarian, I have to admit the options were limited, so we ordered every veggie dish they had - from lime zest corn on the cob to a burrata (which was phenomenal), edamame to truffle fries. We topped it off with a peanut butter chocolate fondant, and I still walked out feeling light. Great for groups, and also for an intimate dinner.
I only wish they didn't have indoor smoking. Even the non-smoking section had thick air from second-hand smoke.
I love play ! The food is good and the vibes are awesome ! I prefer going to play as a group of friends or a group of couples ! I always enjoy what play has to offer ! Keep it up guys

Excellent food, sushi, maki rolls, sashimi’s, and the sea bass. Everything I have tried was delicious and tasted fresh. The only concern I have is regarding the service, the waiters/hosts are not professional and don’t meet up fine dining standards. I have asked for a soft drink which took over 30 mins to be served and when I asked the waiter about my drink he answered me in a rude tone that it will be served shortly and he has asked for it, no apologies, nothing. As a fine dining restaurant and lounge, you would expect a 5 star service as it shows you be.
The food was amazing, unique starters, delicious main course, and a nice environment. However they must work on their desserts. Ive been to so many places that has better and tastier desserts and i know they could do it.

A boring Monday made exciting by a visit to PLAY. Located in the H hotel meant for free valet parking and night without kids!!
We came at 8:30 and we were one of 5/6 tables only. It gets a lot more busy at around 10:30 with an evening brunch and live music.
Service was excellent and attentive.
We ordered Black Cod with a really different twist with a corn salsa. I loved this but my hubby preferred Zuma’s.
Truffle fries were DIVINE!!
We also had 2 plates of a tempura shrimp sushi which was SO tasty. Just the right amount of spice.
My favourite dish by far was a beef tenderloin served with onion rings and ponzu sauce. The beef was melt in the mouth and the sauce zingy!
The piece de resistance were the desserts!
Chocolate fondant with a PB middle was 😍 as was the snickers bar dessert and the orange/forrero rocher crown was a lovely light ending to a lovely meal.
It is a bit pricey (bill for 4 including mocktails and 4 desserts) was over 1000dhs but I’d much rather smack that down here than some of the other similar establishments in Dubai.

PLAY restaurant , an upscale restaurant with such happening vibes, one can't stop from coming again for more! The Pita Surprise really surprised your taste buds, carbonara in a wheel is the highlight, n the ever so melts in your mouth mashed sweet potatoes... and all the other dishes too are definitely worth a try. The violinist swooning with his tune touched my soul! a must go for any celebration like!
Very New York style deco, great for a night out with girls or ladies night - it was even busy during the week. Really good food and atmosphere, good wine list too. My fave dish of all time was the miso soup with truffle and Parmesan. I still dream about it now.
It is a must to try fine dining restaurant! The food is of excellent and fresh ingredients. I recommend playful salad; mushroom pie as starter. Avocado sushi is out of this world, it is truly melting in your mouth. As a main course I recommend sea bass and cod fish; both are tasty and cooked real good. The only thing that I would wish that the restaurant would look at is the seat which Is very short ( distance to the ground).overall if you are in dubai for a fine dining evening and you didn’t try PLAY; you definitely missing the best yummy food and atmosphere in town.

Booked a dinner for two and it was a great experience! Had a table with a fantastic view and the servers knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on! Must try the pita surprise and the 76hour aged beef ribs. Fantastic ambience, music and vibe! Will be going back soon!

The place is amazing. I remember being in Play always on weekdays so I dont know honestly how it would be on Weekends but every time I was there I was having either great drinks or food experience. So, my food experience was on Wed 13/Feb and my friend suggested we get different small bites (appetisers) and one main course.
First dish was the pita (two pieces with raw meat on top ) the pita was stuffed with a sauce. It was food porn, the taste is undesirable.
Second dish was the snails. In my past experience with snails in la petiet maison was failure. However, this one was more enjoyable. The snails came out right and it was served with thin crispy black bread pieces. You could make open sandwiches of that. I loved the combination, I would put the snail on the bread and soak the bread in the sauce and eat it as a bite.
The sushi was good but I dont find it special.
The main course was the spaghetti in cheese bowl. It is recommended and full of cheese for the cheese lovers. The spaghetti was cooked the perfect way.
You can never go wrong in any cocktails they have.

Really beautiful place. The dinner area is spacious and yet very cozy. The food is great every time. Staff super friendly and welcoming. It's always a wonderful experience at PLAY. In addition thy play amazing music.
I’ve been to Play a while back and thought I’d give it another try since I had issues with the service and the dishes I chose.
My second attempt at trying the TimeOut Dubai winner went better but not by much.
The hostess at the entrance was busy and rude, the waiters didn’t look like they wanted to work that night as they were frowning the entire night. What went well was the food, we had picked better dishes and were impressed by the taste and the fast service, we ordered the Steamed Edamame, the Snails in the Garden, two dishes of Truffle Fries, the Risotto Barrel and a Wagyu dish.
The atmosphere was one of the best as well, dimmed romantic lights with good music choice.
Overall the restaurant is great, but the service doesn’t make you want to come back unless for special occasions.

We simply loved the ambience and the vibe of the place. It was buzzing and busy on a Friday night at 9:30 when we got there. We had a table on the right side of the restaurant when you face the musical performance stage. The musical performers were a class act, esp the saxophone player! The food was delicious every bite of the way. The appetizers were sumptuous and the mains were top notch in taste and presentation. We found the service lacking a bit in speed and attentiveness. Also, it was hard to understand the menu without the server's explanation. Apart from this, it was a fabulous experience....a must do every few months in Dubai!

We started our dining experience with the Pita Surprise, an inspired dish of pita stuffed with truffle butter topped with lightly seared wagyu beef, a delectable beginning. We tried many small plates and our favorites were the duck gyoza served with miso and chili ponzu, fresh tortilla with sliced avocado - A surprisingly light and airy dish with green chili mayonnaise, and the favorite -The sliced yellowtail with herb aji amarillo sauce, a must order!
Chef Reif’s inspired menu is top notch in a great setting, along with an extensive selection of grape. For our mains we opted for the 76 hour slow-cooked wagyu beef ribs, a delectable mix of crunchy pieces and soft, tender ribs served with a spicy goma dressing and spring onion salad. Our side of grilled Hokkaido sweet corn with butter and lime was an absolute delight!
As we neared the end of our meal with stuffed bellies, the courteous staff brought out a selection of desserts - We loved the sneaker bar and sticky date pudding! A delicious meal in a fantastic setting with highly efficient service, a great grape selection and top-class dishes - Chef Reif has created an experience worth loosening the pockets for. This restaurant and lounge surely ensures you come out to play!

Been there for “shades of monday” Concept On a monday Night brunch. 2 pax, 300AEDx2 + white wine 670AED a bottle + 2xcocktails at 84AED. As we can before 21.30 the option of free house beverages were not possible. However the waiter were friendly and tried offering other alternatives. It was an overall Good Experiences; The Food were great and there were several starters that we ordered twice; the pita surprise with wagyu and truffle (yes, that was sick) the duck gyoza, fish ceviche and salmon sashimi were incredible! The only bad thing was that everything came at once, however, we are good at eating slow. Our choice of mains were sea bass and risotto. Which complemented each other really well, the sea bass were slightly overdone. Dessert were fresh and girly, not my favourite but very reasonable. Bill ended at 1480AED (with the added 15% tax, service) which was alright. The restaurant is brand new opened 2018, big and beautiful, however the waiters were very confused, under trained and insecure, clearly lacking some routine. I would try to come back in some months and see if it’s better by then. Thanks
Omg where do I start with, whether the location or the view, the interiors, the service, the food, desserts, hospitality - it exceeded in every single genre and trust me it was one of the best restaurant that I have ever tried and feel in love with it completely.
I tried most of their dish from the sushi roll, truffle fries (must try), shrimps making roll, chicken dumplings, risotto cheese barrel with 7 types of mushrooms (the best one), 76 hours braised beef ( to die for), and of course their desserts nut conscious, sneaker bar, date pudding ( the best desserts)
You people have to try this so that you will understand what I'm talking about.

Highly recommended if you enjoy excellent food, great ambience and good service.
Food is to die for especially, great place for vegetarians as well. Elie’s is a must try. Also the avocado maki roll is really good and the little shred cheese is to die for. Wild mushrooms and asparagus are well prepared and perfectly seasoned.
Cocktails were not mind blowing at first, but the bartender is striving to adjust them to your taste with a perfect result.

A special mention goes to the Wagyu G9 Beef Rib, braised for 76 hours- Just melts in your mouth and beautifully presented as well and another favourite was the Risotto prepared in a huge barrel of Grana padano (Parmesan cheese) and mixed with 7 types of mushroom!
My most favourite dessert was the 'Sneaker Bar' : Pistachio Chocolate Bar with Caramelized Pistachio alongside a scoop of Pistachio Ice Cream. Couldn't take my eyes off it nor could I ever forget how amazing this tasted and

It’s bustling with energy and very similar to Zuma or Novikov. The food is great, tried their sushi boat, their quinoa salad , their beef carpaccio, the squid. They also have live music on some days, and the atmosphere is simply stunning.

We came after hearing many good comments and we had high expectations. We were highly rewarded with an outstanding experience.
On top of that the ambiance of the place is superb a tasteful curated experience with different singers, and an awesome decor.

Play tends to maintain a consistency with the quality of their food. Even with their seasonal menu's. Would really recommend the wagyu chipotle roti from their seasonal menu.
However really sad to see the truffle carpaccio removed from the menu. Was one of the best highly rated carpaccio in Dubai.
Went the other day to 50 Shades of Play Late Night Brunch. Food is good and they bring you a lot of starters. My favorite dish is a small canape made of bread filled with a truffle paste and a slice of beef cold cut on top, it is mouthwatering. Gyozas are good, sushi is good quality, main courses aren't as good as the starters. The place is stunning it reminds me of The Great Gatsby movie, very elegant and modern interior. The service was a little messy but maybe it was because the place was completely full and it was the launch of this new concept.
Play – One of the restaurants I was always intrigued to try and finally I made it. My recent visit to play was amazing and very memorable. From food to drinks and service everything was satisfactory, unique and worth trying again. Staff is friendly and at the same time straight forward, we asked for another table but they refused it as the booking was 100 percent. Ambiance is very contemporary and it has mix of pub, and classy touch is given to it. You can also enjoy view from 38th floor.
