(التعليق الأصلي) BB Social Dining is one of our favorites in DIFC. It offers 3 levels of dining space and the interiors are stunning. Their Asian fusion menu is interesting and also their cocktails are great. We especially love their green hummus, cauliflower popcorn, tofu ramen and chestnut bao. Definitely one of the must-visit restaurants in DIFC for good food !

(التعليق الأصلي) BB Social at DIFC do amazing Asian fusion of sorts with a menu of baos, Katsu, bowls (ramen, pho). The best vegetarian bao inventions out here with their 4 cheese and spinach bao (my favorite and 10/10 recommend) and their mushroom and chestnut bao. They have some nice deals on their business lunch menu (4B menu). Their superfood bowl was decent, and for a healthy treat, their mushroom and barley risotto qualifies! Great ambiance and service on point. I gotta come back for their vegetarian Katsu and desserts!

(تمت الترجمة بواسطة Google.) وجبة فطور وغداء جميلة ، كانت المقبلات أفضل ما لدينا في دبي. مشروبات رائعة وخدمة رائعة. لقد مررنا مرتين الآن وسنعود. (التعليق الأصلي) Beautiful brunch, the starters were hands down the best we've had in Dubai. Great drinks and brilliant service. We have been twice now and we will be back.

(التعليق الأصلي) Small and cosy restaurant serving mainly modern and fusion dishes but with no identity. The food is good but nothing special. You may dine here if you are in the area but would not target it.

(التعليق الأصلي) Bao Bao Bao! Definitely order their creative bao options, various toppings in delicious steamed pockets, it's hard to go wrong. The kind server even came with a special set up to cut our bao in two to make for easier sharing. The other dishes we had were good, but not incredibly memorable. I should also note, the restaurant space is incredibly well decorated and feels cozy for a place housed across three different levels.

(التعليق الأصلي) Came for dinner and drinks and had a great time. The service is fast and highly attentive, the cocktails were great (and not outrageously priced for DIFC), and the food was not overrated at all. Just tries are the crispy sprouts, beef or chicken baos (heard the crab is also great but not my cup of tea), kale tabbouleh, and wagyu beef. Only regret is trying the cheeseburger katsu vs the normal wagyu katsu - I think the normal would have been much better.

Flavorful Asian fusion in a western garden setting. You go up and down some windy staircase and end up in a very funky, kind of fun NY retro, restaurant where the menu is Japanese fusion. The bao buns, the broths and bbq’s, every bite seems to transport you to an alley in Japan where you slurp your noodles and enjoy every bit. We loved it and for sure will return!

The food was absolutely delicious and we had nothing to complain about! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Bad experience , weird waiter.. did not care one bit about serving properly , arrogant attitude. Food is so bad for the price , tiny portions and average food at best

I have always wanted to visit BB but never got the chance to do so, so during the lockdown, I placed my order with them.

Ordered for a Wagyu Katsu and Cauliflower Popcorn.

Having heard of both these dishes so much, from so many people, I needed to give this a try!

Cauliflower popcorn was honestly the best choice of starter. It is a healthy dish and better than any usual starter you'd buy. It is crunchy on the outside, soft om the inside, and with a truffle sauce dip, it just doesn't get better than this.

The Wagyu Katsu surely won my heart. It was totally worth the price. The sandwich like presentation divided it into two pieces and the meat was super flavorsome and soft. Nothing could ever beat this Katsu dish!

Their food was really great! Cozy place with friendly staff. Loved the saggy slider and beef bao. Their noodle broth was amazing Too ❤️

I recently visited BB Social Dining with a friend and we loved the experience! The food was mostly delish and we enjoyed having the cauliflower tots, lentil salad, beef satay and the bao. Chicken satay was nothing compared to the beef one. Loved the ambiance even though we had to go down a long flight of stairs. Our server was quite nice too.

Friday Brunch experience

Ambience

No view of anything, but Really cool and classy fit out, great vibe.

Food

Amazing spinach stuffed pretzel as an appetizer
Few delicious small bites like superfood salad and cauliflower popcorn as sharing starters

The mains could have been a bit more generous, but we were all full and I believe we could have asked for more and gotten it, so all good.

Dessert was delicious as well with fantastic fruit sauces

Drinks

Already impressed with the non alcoholic ones with Evian water included in the brunch.
The beer and wines were also super high quality considering they were included in brunch, that was a fantastic surprise and the cocktails were outstanding as well, I kept having a con constantly refilled negroni thanks to great staff

Service

Great service, would like to mention a great and attentive manager, Reika I believe.
We had 2 waiters Brian and Mischa who were absolutely great and automatically refilled when they saw empty glasses!!!

Price

That's were they save any star that I may have deducted for small things like no view, but at 318dhs this was great value for money

The place is gorgeous, but the entire restaurant was empty and in a small conjusted patio, the entire tables were filled, dont really understand why. It's too conjusted, the portion sizes are way too small for such high priced items. It's like miniature food. The pricing is so wrong, 250 aed without alcohol isnt enough for 1 person also. Found the hostess not so welcoming either, although serving staff were very good. Also, the service is very slow. Only good part, food tasted good - it's only enough to taste.
TacoGuyinDubai
This is probably the best DIFC restaurant in a logic of quality, price, taste. Is far from being a pretentious posh place, instead it focuses on the food, and the ambiance. It feels like you are in a European bistro with Asian food.
We had multiple sharinf plates, each was just superb
Highly recommended
Foodio_dubai
My favorite place in DIFC for dining it has great baos and great food they have open kitchen and the service is amazing and lovely staff
Puneet
The food they serve is one of best I have ever had. The shrimp salad was just out of the world. However, keep in mind the portion sizes are small.

I come occasionally to BB Social for business lunch and always enjoyed the originality of their food. We tried out their brunch today and here is my verdict: totally underrated!!! Price/value is excellent! It is not a party brunch. Come to spend good time with friends and enjoy a seated menu made of original dishes ranging from simple salads to slow cooked lamb through tartares and other revisited dishes served with attention and kindness. (The only thing I missed are their delicious phò!)
Don’t expect Zuma (I allow myself to compare), but go! You should not be disappointed for this well priced brunch given the quality of the food presented. House wines are absolutely OK (not being spectacular, again consider alcohol prices in Dubai, the Nero d’Avola in red was very appreciated compared to cheap and aggressive new world wines served elsewhere), the Gin Bar (Tanqueray) to do your own customization is pretty cool.
Thumbs up, well done! You’ll see us again.

I booked a table for a dinner in order to celebrate my partner’s Bday. While making the reservation, I gave clear instructions on what dessert should be taken out and what message should be written.
However after ordering a dessert, it came with absolutely nothing. No candle, no birthday message. After I spoke to them, they did serve us with another dessert with a candle and a message which is at least something. Conclusion - poor communication and coordination among the staff.

Besides than that, place looks nice and cozy, decor is really nice, lighting was perfect, food was tasty.

What we didn’t like is: small food portions(not matching the price you pay), smell of the “kitchen” or food in the restaurant (ventilation should be improved), very tiny gap in between the tables, so it is quite impossible to have a chat when you have people shouting from both sides. Realistically, where they placed 4 tables, there should be only 3 probably,

An artistically furnished restaurant with a look of colonial South East Asia.

Asian and Arabic Cuisines.

Habibi, Beef Bao served with pickled cucumber was very good.

Grilled Prawns with soy garlic sauce wss good.
Rice noodls pho was good.

Very good service.

A good place to dine with business guests

Lovely ambience and great food at this exclusive Asian and arabic cuisine BB Social at difc
Fine dining - business lunch was good / value for money and wholesome /delicious food . Excellent service . Cute little cafe (like a cozy little 3 tier box ) . Interior is like an old European cafe . We had sea bream ceviche , chicken skewers, noodles pho, chicken ramen
Do try for a different experience
Ash
I enjoyed the food there. The tiny terrace is nice, gets loud and crowded when it’s full. It’s a cool place to kick off the weekend with a great meal. The service was good and we got our order on time however the waiter was way too chatty and kept on interrupting our conversation. Also, he insisted on getting us dessert instead of the fruit platter while we made it clear that we don’t want dessert
Dolce Bella
Simply in love with this place.

So cute and cozy.

Food is on high level as well as service, although drinks selection and quality could be better.

Not recommended for a big groups, as tables very much next to each other, no much space.
The Traveller Fork
The place is so cute and very cosy, they optimized the structure of the building to create a cozy European style bistro. The food was good, some items scored 5 and some other scored 4, would have expected a better Wagyu, they have to look into the quality of meat they buy. The service was so efficient and professional, I would definitely give them a 5 for it, friendly and professional service.

I recently discovered BB Social and it’s now one of my favorite places. Firstly their fried calamari is the best I’ve had anywhere but what’s probably more
Important is the fact that they have a ton of vegan friendly options on the menu. I’m not vegan but both my best friends are and we always have trouble finding a place we can enjoy together, now BB Social is this place.
Serene W. Talhouk
Cozy setting , very date appropriate and they have a lounge upstairs

Food recommendations:

Glazed Brussel sprouts:
Bang bang bao: fried chicken but worth it
Prawn bao: im a seafood person all the way , I would try the lobster bao next time!
Super food salad: wooow so fresh
Wagyu bites : insane 🤩

Ayman Sami Karadsheh
This place has a hype for nothing. We had high expectations but were disappointed. Service was only OK, waiter is a little annoying with his talkative mood. Menu is average and good was below average to average. The quantity for the price is paid is no match. This was our first visit but now would be our last. F&L

Must visit restaurant! From the ambience to the service to the food. The Wagyu Katsu is a must try and so are the truffle eggs. I would definitely keep going back.
Project Prosecco
Instagram: projectprosecco

Value for money!!!! We did the Friday brunch at BB and for AED 450 you get free flowing champagne, one of the few places in Dubai that is so reasonably priced for champagne!

The outdoor setting is cozy and quite intimate, lovely for a casual brunch as a couple or with a few friends. Along with champagne you get unlimited bites, baos, a choice of mains and dessert.

Our favs - the crispy sprouts, a must have! The spicy beef tartare and the wings.

And for the main - the risotto is absolutely delicious, lots of cheese, mushrooms and the best part - truffle!!!! Loved it.

Definitely love the intimate ambience at BB if you're looking for a quiet spot in the heart of DIFC.
Al Ahadpour
When looking for a different concept, look no further than BB.
Items on the menu are not for sharing.
However the taste of their dishes are very good.
Worth a try for sure.
Been to this nook 4-5x because of its intimate and cozy vibe. Sexy ambience. Love their desserts. And their cocktails - I must have already tried all of them!

Cauliflower popcorn, Habibi (beef bao) and grilled beef over a bed of brown rice for a business lunch. Can't go wrong with that! The beef bao, in particular, was excellent - soft beef (similar to short ribs) in a soft wrap with pickled cucumber 😋... we had the apple waffle for dessert and again an excellent choice (comes with a caramel syringe and a scoop of creamy ice cream)👍

Been here twice. The food and drinks were really good. The first visit we were all upset with the waitress because when the food was served , we were all talking and she interrupted us by telling us our food would go cold and kept reminding us how much time we had left for the table. I would understand when the restaurant is fully booked , but we were the only ones sitting there and it was getting awkward. If it wasn’t for how good the food was , I wouldn’t be coming here the second time.

Second time around, our experience was great as it wasn’t the same waitress and the waiter treated us really well and made the evening one to remember. The food and drinks again were really good. Loved the desserts ❤️

Love this place as soon as you walk in, feels like I’m not in Dubai but transported to somewhere in Europe.

In addition, the service and food was great. Particularly enjoyed the short ribs bao (this is bb), which had great texture to it with every bite. Also loved the butter fish, went well with the soy, and the harissa lamb was very well cooked with strong balanced flavors.

Highly recommended for a casual yet sophisticated vibe with good food and drinks. Definitely looking forward to my next visit
Sunny Sawlani
Awesome food. Portion sizes are quite small for the prices being charged but the taste and the variety is amazing. Desserts can be much better though!

Was in BB social dining for business lunch with friend and really enjoyed the food and the service. Will come back again. It serves good range of Asian food and very well cooked.

By far BB social is my favorite place nowadays! The food is super yummy, the drinks are from different planet, the staff are super friendly and always ready to help, I had lunch in BB last month at least 10 times! Even my wife and my 9 years old son loved the place! Keep it up guys and see you soon next week 😊

BB was one of the best social dining experiences i have had in Dubai. The ambience definitely provides a great social dining experience, the staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations on dishes. I went there for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and the food was great. I recommend trying out the following dishes:
- For the bao I recommend trying out the Habibi, Habibiti and Chicken Bang Bang.
- For the bites, I recommend trying the cauliflower popcorn and the chopped kale tabbouleh.
- For the BBQ, I recommend trying the Lemon Chicken, Wagyu Beef and Grilled Prawns.
- For the dessert, I recommend trying the Sweet Endings lollipop ice cream, this was very delicious.

Overall, the presentation of the food makes everything look so delicious and just had us wanting to dig in for more. Very positive experience, will definitely come again :)

Firs time there, and will come back again.
From the concept, to the drinks to the menu selection and food taste and quality, everything was great. and big kudos to the service.

BB Social Dining is a licensed concept tucked inside the Gate Village of Dubai’s financial district. Derived from the Arabic word “Habibi” which means love, BB Social Dining or bb for short is the brainchild of the three owners, chef patron (Alex Stumpf), operations (Spero Panagakis) and business development (Shab Stumpf) who happen to be the operators as well.
Zaibunnisa Ahmed Ali
A spiralled 3 storey restaurant with excellent vibes right in the heart of downtown DIFC.great music including outdoors surrounded by greenery. served with gasstronomic dishes, every dish has a unique distinct taste. we ordered the butter fish, cauliflower popcorn, beef tartare, wagyu beef , ramen n few more. We are 3 so perfect with a sharing concept.
Naura
What an amazing experience, loved the music and food particularly the butter fish and bbq ribs , absolutely superb ! The service was fabulous with special thanks to the staff for accommodating some of our guests special seating requirements. Will definitely be going back. The smoking area needs more ventilation however , been in pretty closed spaces before but the smoke gets overwhelming after a bit. Otherwise super experience

Love the place! Great staff amazing bao buns and really good interiors one of my fav places in Dubai it’s also vegetarian friendly and stocks quite a few dishes
Jad Salem
Friendly staff , nice decor and vibes ... went there for diner a really recommended place.
Focus on the starters and the bowls (seared salmon, the lentil salad , tabbouleh, the crispy chicken, the lobster)
I wasn’t impressed with their main courses (especially the wagyu steak)
Don’t leave this place without trying the apple crumble and chocolate brownie.
Beatrice
Beautiful dining experience. Definitely a hidden gem in DIFC. Something about the place that gives you the feel of a New York escape. Food is delicious. Very kind and welcoming staff! Absolutely loved it!
Pallavi Sharma
Great ambience, feels a bit like a Parisian bistro. But he warned, it is cramped, so probably not the best for a big group of friends or family. Also, not one i’d recommend for value, portions are tiny and prices are high. Acceptable if it was fine dining, but this isn’t. The food was decent but isn’t wow enough to demand a price of AED 88 per BBQ prawn. Highlight of the night was the chicken bang bang bao and beef tartare!
Mojch
What a lovely place to dine in!! Lovely ambiance and amazing food!! So much care from the servers. Definitely a place where you can go on a date or even hang out with a group of friends!!

Favorite restaurant in Dubai! Delicious delicious delicious food! The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is soo romantic! Been there multiple times and not bored yet!

Visited BB for my boyfriends birthday dinner and it was the best choice made. Food was really tasty and the service was impeccable. We ordered Super green hummus, Cauliflower popcorn, Sweet potato fries, Vegetarian pho and Super Freekeh. Lot of options for vegans :) I cannot wait to go back and try more from the menu.
They made vegan truffle as a special request for my boyfriends birthday and that tasted delicious too.
LTW
B.B. Social is currently my go to place in DIFC. The Asian Mediterranean twist is very interesting and the vibe is always amazing. I love the Baos, the harissa lamb and spicy beef tartare. On the weekend this place is always crowded and has a good vibe. Definitely something different to the usual difc places.
Majed
Place is really cool. Food is different, great flavors and affordable. Buzzy atmosphere and good service. Definitely somewhere to go back to all the time.
Afra
I have to say BB Social has the best bao buns in town! But other than that the food on the menu falls flat. The lamb skewers that we had ordered barely had any meat and it was mostly fat. The wagyu steak was bland. All in all the food wasn’t that great and the options available did not excite my friends and I. One thing bothered me most about my experience was the fact that the waiter offered us drinks without it being ordered then we had to pay for it. I found that extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. It is very unlikely that I would be back at BB Social.
Tammy Ilikj
Extravagant place to spend a quality self time. Very nice food and friendly staff.
Plenty of varieties, both when it comes to food and drinks, for everybody's taste and preference.
The ambience is unique, complemented by the rustic interior.
A total "must have" Dubai experience!
Priyanka S Ghasita
On my sister's recommendation i opted to take a friend out on their birthday to bb social. Located in difc, the entrance is not as conspicuous as you would presume. The space in the restaurant has been optimally used and the interiors are simple yet modern. Was seated on the topmost floor which has outdoor patio style feel. We ordered the popcorn cauliflower (it's good till its piping hot), kung fu wings (these were great!), beef pho (really authentic) and the piece de resistance - harissa lamb (slow cooked beautiful fatty iberio lamb with pickled cucumbers). The lamb harissa is what gastronomical dreams are made of😍😍😍. Definitely going back there and you should too incase your looking to celebrate something.

Went for dinner and drinks to this hidden gem and it was a great experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, quirky menu with plenty food options to choose from. I would like to come back soon.
Dubai Vices
Definitely a gem in the heart of DIFC. BB is multilevel with curbside access and access from the main building. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and gives the feeling of a New York restaurant once inside. Its a great casual concept with great food and an extensive non alcoholic and alcoholic selection. Special mention to their non alcoholic selection as it is pretty much as good as the alcoholic selection ... not something that we see very often in many places. The food was fresh, tasted good and well presented. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful while choosing items on the menu. Definitely a must visit ... oh ... please do ask them for a tour of the place and they would gladly show you around.
Mohamed Kabbani
I would strongly recommend to visit this restaurant if you are looking for over priced tasteless food and extremely tiny dishes! Easily 0/10!
Patrick Mehawech
Great place in DIFC and one of a kind im Dubai. Service amazingly good, food great all with twist with great taste, prices very balanced and compared to DIFC it is considered very acceptable. Highly recommended.
Sunny
Went there for a birthday dinner. Amazing food, great staff, cozy, amazing drinks, amazing location. Not crazy expensive compared to other resturant in dubai.Highly recommend!

We had the set menu for a large group of people on a Saturday lunch. It’s was absolutely fantastic. And I’m really glad I got to sample such a range on my first trip here.
Some of the dishes were unbelievable and some at worst were very good. The service was brilliant, each waitress knew the ingredients of the dishes which I found impressive. I have a diary intolerance and don’t eat meat and they told me as they served which dishes I could eat and adapted a few other dishes just for me to enjoy. They even made me my very own hot pot. The food is a fusion, I can’t quite pin what genre of food we were served but I loved it all. Highlights are the sprouts, the raw fish in an Asian sauce, sea bass, salmon, hot pot and to be honest lots more but there were so many dishes I can’t remember them all.
The decor of the restaurant is just beautiful, elegant and industrial. A narrow tall building with a beautiful spiral staircase running all the way down. Feels like you’ve stepped straight out of Dubai in to New York or London.
I will definitely be back for another special occasion!

My hubby and i decided to try the recently opened bb social on our date night. They have outdoor seating, restaurant , lounge and bar seating. We chose to sit at the bar since we like watching drinks being constructed. The whole place has a very parisian and cosy feel. Its not big but has many floors with a spiral staircase leading to the different floors. All the cocktails we oedered were very well balanced and refreshing. To nibble we ordered the cauliflower poocorn with truffle dip and the panko crusted truffle eggs. The cauliflower was a good change to the usual fried calamari or popcorn chicken. The truffle dip with it is was a perfect accompaniment. Tha panko crusted eggs with truffle were amazing. They made me forget scotch eggs. They were the best eggs i have eaten. A must try. The eggs were cooked perfectly with the yolk still runny and creamy. Loved it. We then decided to order something more substantial. We ordered the bang bang chicken bao, the softshell crab bao and the short rib bao ( i love bb). The bang bang chicken bao lacked flavour and spice. Though it had pickled onions, yet it was very flat. It needed something to lift it. Perhaps if the batter in which the chicken was fried had chilli, it would lift the dish. The softahell crab bao was a let down too. The crab was too oily. The beef rib bao was yummy . Yes, the menu read that it came wirh temoura shallots and there were none on it, yet it was the best tatsting bao. The ribs were very tender and the pickled cucumber brought the freshness to it. Try this bao for sure.
overall, i felt the drinks were fabulous, service top notch, food needs slight improvement but bao pricing definitely needs rework. If you are chargibg me AED 60, then atleast give two baos. 60AED for 1 bao is rather expensive.
Definitely give this place a try. Its perfect fir after work drinks and light bites.

Went for dinner on a week day. There was a nice ambiance, good music not too loud, good drinks and tasty food. This lovely restaurant is on 3 levels with a terrace and the main restaurant venue on the ground floor, near the main entrance of the DIFC galleries, up to the level of the bb bar (so level 3). For the food, which is an interesting mix of arab and asian, we especially enjoyed the freekeh, the super green humus, and the sashimi. The kale tabbouleh was good. The spicy fish had nothing special. Expect prices normally expensive for Dubai. Will definitely come back.

A refreshing new concept in casual dining in the heart of Dubais financial district. I was here on a culinary tour as part of the global restaurant investment forum. The entire troupe had a fascinating time enjoying everything from fresh chicken and quinoa salad to alcoholic tea - true blue russian style. It was quite a new experience. The food was remarkable. I totally enjoyed the fresh salads and the nibbles, not to forget the lovely cocktails. Definitely going there again!
Foodloverdubai
Terrible experience unfortunately it’s a three floor Restaurant and we had to pass through the Bar with all the crowd and being a local with my wife it was not pleasant but that obviously did not stop my mood from enjoying my meal.

We chose to sit out and we had one waiter serving us who was pretty terrible very slow to come taken orders and while taking our order he was talking to a friend of his who passed by us ( That’s a first for me ) the food as a whole was terrible ordered the following.

Hummus , Cauliflower popcorn , butter fish , Chicken Bao , beef rib Bao , Lamp Chop , and the kale salad.

The only decent dish was the kale salad the rest was terrible and honestly was a unpleasant meal.

Fix it unless you want to be a place that is a bar !

Great vibes great food and great service all nestled in one of Dubai’s coolest layouts/ decor! Love love love .. the duck Bao and desserts were my fave and a must try.
Will be back soon for sure

Nice and beautiful place! really good atmosphere. I went for drinks 🍷🍸 and the cocktails are really good. the staff are great special the attention from the bartender (Jordan), definitely I recommend the place 👍

An hidden gem in DIFC. Cozy and nice place with revised Arabic and Asian food! The terrace is super nice and you feel in a relaxing place! Food is nice and the bites are perfect to sharing!

Very cute and cool place - nice atmosphere and vibe.
Food is fine. Nothing to write home about.
Staff is cool - borderline "too" cool. But overall nice experience

I’ve been to BB twice now and still don’t understand what ‘type’ of restaurant it is. Their menu has a definite Asian-Eastern bias, but the décor is anything but Asian. On the subject of the interior, it’s amazing. I love the way they’ve connected all three floors (yes, three floors) with a grand spiral staircase. I love, love, love the blue they’ve used on their walls. I like the lounge bar. And the restaurant.
Issa A
Had the business lunch there and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is co and funky. The food was very good and fresh. The drinks where also good. Price wise - its in DIFC; Need I say more.

One thing to note - the did have a lot of veterinarian and Vegan options for most main dishes. Thought that was a big plus.
Robin Azb
Been to bb for drinks, their cocktails are great, different and cosy place. The price are in the average of DIFC. Will go there again for lunch next time. Maybe it’s missing a lunch menus.
Moony
The decor here is amazing, if you come during the afternoon you’ll only get the bites and bao to order, it’s a must try for the ambiance and the food options.

Dishes I tried:
1. Lob Star
2. Chicken Bang Bang
3. Kung Fu Wings (yum)
4. Beef Tartare (yum)

We came to grab a drink after dinner here, the drinks were pretty terrible and the staffs were not attentive throughout the time we were there! Furthermore, the environment was not hygienic at all!

Finally a home grown concept that has good food in dubai
We sat on this little outdoor terrace which was charming and felt like we are in kings road london and we were served by a South African waiter who I forgot his name and he was excellent, he explained the concept and the menu so well and made sure everything we had was perfect
We started with 5 kinds of bao's, my favorite were the duck and the wagyu beef the rest were average but the bao itself is excellent, soft and fluffy
Then we had crispy Brussels and the butter fish which were extremely yummy
We also ordered chicken wings which was tasteless
The wagyu ramen was good, if u like fatty meat make sure u order the harrissa lamb it's so tender
It was a good experience In general and would definitely go back to try other stuff on the menu

Good news! Happiness Street in DIFC has just turned a little happier by welcoming in a new restaurant which brings a fresh approach to social dining. BB, as it’s called, is a home-grown concept revolving around its community, serving Asian cuisine with a Middle-Eastern Cuisine. The eatery is spread over three floors in Gate Village 8 building and can also be accessed directly from the street level. The eatery has a quirky table set-up and the menu comprises of inventive and unusual dishes.
If you like to do your food differently, BB is the place to be! Why? Well, because at BB, there is no prescribed etiquette for ordering your food. You have the freedom to order dishes as required or request for them to come in a specific order. In short, you are invited to rebel and design your own experience based on single-plate meals of baos, bites, bowls, salads and grills as well as delightful sweets.
Have a look at how we treated our taste-buds here:
WE are a huge fan of Baos, and BB offers a really good variety! We settled for the Habiba – sesame beef with pickled cucumber, This is BB – short ribs, tempura shallots & chili, and the Habibti – soft shell crab, watercress in a jalapeno dressing was the star amongst these three.
We had several stuff from the Bites section of the menu, out of which Cauliflower Popcorn were so good they can easily replace your cravings for chicken poppers! Wonderfully seasoned, soft and fried to perfection. The creamy truffle sauce that came with it was outstanding as well. Crispy Glazed Sprouts in lemon soy dressing left a nice sweet and savory flavor behind, while the Spicy Beef Tartare was equally commendable. You can’t miss the Butter Fish they serve here. It’s a new style sashimi and arrives with some white asparagus, great seafood option! We also went for some Chopped Kale Tobbouleh.

Isn’t a delicious bowl of Shabu Shabu exactly what you look for when craving Asian comfort food? at BB, we had one of the best bowls ever! The broth was seasoned very well, the noodles were perfect, vegetables were of the perfect quantity, meat perfectly tender, and the sauces just took the flavor to another level altogether!
From the BBQ items, we preferred to go for red meat and eyed two interesting names on the menu. The Wagyu Beef in chimichurri dressing was as succulent as we hoped, and Harissa lamb is worth a try too. The lamb is slow-cooked which makes it so tender with the correct infusion of spices. This is dished out with pickled cucumber ribbons.
Ever heard of a Baonut? We got to experience eating one with chantilly cream and strawberry jam at BB, very interesting indeed! The Waffle Apple Pie was another gorgeous creation, a combination of black sesame ice cream, apple wonton and salted caramel. A dream come true for the sweet-toothed!
We simply loved the unique concept at BB. It is highly impressive and you definitely have to check it out the next time you are looking for dining options at DIFC. Ambiance, service, food options, everything was on point. Prices are economical too, giving you all the more reason to drop by.

I went on Monday with my friend to have dinner at a new Hidden Gem called BB Social Dining located at Gate Village 8 in DIFC. Once you arrive, enter at the right, there is a Valet Parking but you can also access it from the podium level. BB Social is very nicely decorated, it is on 3 floors with a bar, indoor and outdoor seating on all the levels.

Lovely new place in gate village. Service was good, food was good. Definitely will be coming back. However I didn’t like the reception area and how we had to wait so long to be seated because the person was on the phone.

Lovely ambiance and food and great service !
This is first time I have been there and we went there for lunch and I was really happy with the food portion and taste .
Would gladly go again soon 👍

This chic 3 floor restaurant is truly a gem tucked away from the hustle of the city, even though it is right in the heart of town. We went for a celebratory lunch today and immediately were delighted with the ambiance and niché spaces at different levels. The decor and settings were a harmonious blend of a cafe vibe with fine dine.

Our host Rouan was extremely curteous and extremely knowledgeable about the food and drinks. His inputs guided us to choose the perfect indulgence for the relaxed meal.

The menu was not packed with too many confusing items. We chose a couple of items from Bao - Habiti & BB special and the super green hummus and cauliflower popcorn from the Bites, which were delicious and perfect accompaniments to great cocktails.

From the mains we ordered the Harissa lamb and
Seasame beef. Succulent is an understatement for both items as the tenderly cooked meat with perfectly balanced spices satisfied the palate in the best possible way.

The cherry on the top of our beautiful lunch was when they brought out the chocolate browny birthday treat for my sister in law.

I know it's quite a lot that I have penned as its after a very long time I truly enjoyed a wonderful meal with a perfectly catered experience.
Will be going back here soon.
Martina
Located in Difc, this restaurant and bar is divided on 4 different floors. Been there several times and each time was perfect. can’t wait for my next visit. Nice food, amazing drinks and friendly staff, and if you like champagne they sell it by glass for less then 70 aed.

Amazing Asian cuisine really healthy and tasty , great services and atmosphere beautiful rooftop terrace, the bao and ramen are a must highly recommended 😍

I would never visit this restaurant again. Food is not tasty at all and over-priced for the food offering. It is the worst restaurant in Gate Village, DIFC!!

Lovely new dining option in the DIFC Village Gate 8 building. It is also accessible directly from the street level right before the main DIFC entrance. The venue spans over three floors and two outside dining areas.

The stars of the show are the Baos. There’s one for every taste. My preference goes to the crispy duck. Just wonderful. The chicken is not bad either. Unfortunately they didn’t have the foie gras beef available. The wine list is ok, and the cocktail selection is not too bad. However, the place is desperately lacking in beer options. The desserts are nothing to write home about. Just the usual American hodgepodge of sweetness.

I was invited to dine at B.B. Social Dining for a review, free of charge. As always the opinions stated within this post are entirely my own. For our 4th wedding anniversary on the 29th of December, M and I waited too long to make a reservation at our favorite place in town, The Experience by Reif Othman, so I decided to just go through my email and accept the most attractive invite. B.B Social Dining won.

Oh My God, can't thank my friend enough for inviting me to this place and getting me exposed to it , honestly by seeing their instagram page didn't feel like going but I couldn't say no to her , BUT guess WHAT ? We had an awesome experience, basically they serve Asian foods with a twist and everything is outstanding. it's a great place for friends gathering , and people with vegetarian or vegan diet, they have lots of meat options as well but their vegetarian options are just great. Try their stuffed eggplant and shabu shabu , and all the salads .. ouch ! I can say order all the menu you will be hay

Loved the ambience which reminded me very much of London. Especially the outdoor terrace is great if the weather plays along. Service was fair, took a bit long and the waitress didn’t understand English too well and wasn’t too familiar with the menu and therefore couldn’t make recommendations which should be the case.
Food was excellent, for vegetarians especially the cauliflower popcorn was to die for as well as crispy glazed sprouts, truffles gems (!) and super freekeh. Refreshingly different and well prepared.
Cocktails were good too. Great place which I will definitely visit again.

Let me just begin by saying it was a total delight to try Bb Social over the weekend. I'm gonna start by saying how much i loved the ambiance, the decor and the interiors + exteriors of the place. So unlike any place in Dubai, with its small staircase and different set ups on each level, it feels like a total different experience depending on the area you want to sit in. Very elegant and intimate and the staff are very welcoming. I've tried some of the small bites and enjoyed them: cauliflower popcorn with the yummy truffle sauce, spicy beef tartare (i think it needed to be a bit more spicy) and the padron peppers. Can't wait to go back again.

DIFC is terrible for providing directions. The only destinations they want people to know about are their gate numbers. I’m looking for BB restaurant, and unless I need to board a flight to get there, I don’t need to know what my gate number is. They’re located at gate eight by the way.

Very welcoming, very friendly staffs. We went there for dinner, loved the ambience and the food too.We sat outside really cosy terrace.I do recommend for all to try it out!

I was in rush having my lunch close to my office and entered here . The category was casual and Asian food. I was surprised that they don't have chopsticks and there are many noodle menus. I don't ask chopsticks for italian restaurant but it's Asian! Staff members were nicely noted my request though. The bowl was small but the spoon and fork are huge. Recommended they need to organise more...

My husband and I wanted to try a new restaurant so decided to give bb a shot, and I’m glad we did! Now, not all the food was great, some was and some was kind of meh, but the overall experience was lovely.
Walking in, I expected a huge place since on the phone I was told it’s on 3 levels, but found it to be a cozy small space that probably has a nice vibe on a more crowded day. We sat outside in the garden terrace, which is done in a way with the trees that masks the street noise.
For the food we decided to try one or two of each ‘b’ on the menu; we started with the green hummus and spicy beef tartare from the bites...the hummus was good, tasted like hummus but with a little extra flavor. The tartare we enjoyed a lot, but found it to be a little too heavy on the onion. Next we had the habibi bao and lobster bao; we found the meat in the habibi bao to be too fatty for our liking, and while the lobster was very tasty, the bread was too much and heavy - but that’s a very personal taste since we don’t like anything fried much. We then tried the wagyu ramen bowl which was completely tasteless...we had a few tastes and left it. We finished the savory from the bbq section with the spicy fish and the freekeh aubergine, both of which we enjoyed a lot; both have great flavors, and the fish with yogurt combination is excellent. Although we were full by that point, we decided to try the waffle apple pie, the presentation is very different and fun, but I found it lacking in some way...it needs more apple for sure inside the won ton.
Overall the food is very playful and whimsical and the place is quaint and fun. Would definitely go again and try other stuff

Thus, imagine my surprise when a new venue came along and is basically like, “Actually…how about we try this?”. Take a former art gallery and transform it into a unique multi-level restaurant, complete with outdoor space, and you’ve got my new favorite venue in DIFC. Equal parts casual and effortlessly cool, the menu is a bit eclectic (it works for me, but I can see how others might prefer a more traditional approach) and the engagement of the staff is well above average. This is BB. As they mention on their website, “Begin anywhere,” which is precisely what we did.

New favourite place in Dubai, absolutely love the design and feeling of BB's. Very friendly service - always welcoming. Great vibe, specially on their terrace and the food is very good. Full review and list of favourite dishes is up on blog :) but in a nutshell the must orders: super green hummous (definitely not your average hummous) , popcorn cauliflower (addictive, with a super yummy truffle sauce), butterfish sashimi (great Asian flavours), padron peppers (so good!), kale tabbulouh, superfood salad, harissa lamb (yumm this melts in your mouth like butter) and wagyu ramen - the egg in the ramen is perfection.... The habibi bao made with short rib beef also hits the spot.

Also one of the best places in Dubai for cocktails. Not a big fan of G&Ts but their Garden Tonic is absolutely wonderful! Ditto for their Masala Martini.

I never take the time to write reviews, but I do read them. Went to BB and this little gem made feel like sharing how amazing it is! I went alone, for a quick lunch and felt home! Very relaxed, beautiful natural light, amazing food. Everything I had was super tasty and finally different from what you get everywhere: green hummus, fried cauliflower, crispy Brussels sprouts, lamb skewers, buns... absolutely loved it, and will defo go there very often. Finally a place that does not rip you off. Thank you :)

A truly new hidden gem in Dubai! The restaurant is split over 3 levels which gives the venue so much character & uniqueness. The ambiance is warm & welcoming yet hip & vibey. Good selection of cocktails & bubbles. The food here is the main star of the show - amazing 👌 Bao buns are delectable and highly recommended and so are the salads which are full of flavourful & fresh. Hints of the East come through in their dishes however not your usual distinctive eastern flavours. Unique for sure!
Chris
Amazing restaurant… it’s newly open and the food is not from this world. In 2 weeks since the opening I went there twice and I will go there definitely more often because I did not tried the whole menu yet . My favorites until now are the Super Food Salad, Kung Fu Wings, Wagyu Beef, Veal Rips and the Deep Pan Brownie or the Baonut but there is much more to discover. You MUST try the Sweet Potato Cocktail – a dream of a cocktail!!! The value for money is really good and the service very professional… You have to go there – it’s worth a visit!!!

I loved BB social dining. I went to the newly opened restaurant and it was beyond my expectations. This cosy, trendy, unique place had so much to offer. Starting from the service-staff were friendly and knowledgeable-they made great recommendations. My friend has a dairy allergy which was not a problem at all for the staff and she had several choices. The food is delicious and so interesting. Every dish is beautifully presented and well thought out. The cocktails were delicious and imaginative. I think this is a unique place that is full of surprises. Great food and great atmosphere. I will definitely go back!
Noodles
What in the world did they try to feed me? That was supposedly the lamb skewers. I had to scrape fat from the slivers of meat. The pho was tasteless we had to ask for any kind of sauce to make it acceptable. Overpriced, small portions, and for the price you pay you're better off dining in a much better restaurant in DIFC. Never again. This place won't last long.
