Located right next to Waterfall. This place is perfect for a relaxed evening and their collection of teas are undoubtedly the best.
Salon is such an apt word for this tea place. Went here on an evening, to purchase some teas as gifts. And I can surely say it would neither disappoint the one who is gifting nor the one who is receiving the gift. Such a wide selection of teas. I tried the Vanilla tea and it was so flavorful. Wish I had taken some friends along to try more varieties. I also purchased a box of Loose Earl Grey tea and the Lavender blooms (for the gift) and the outcome was simply amazing.
I shall defiinitely be visiting this place to check out more flavors. Do visit this place for wonderful gifting options (they have teapots for sale too).
Only felt that this place was bit noisy because of the visitors/tourists outside as it is centrally located in the Waterfall Plaza. However, I enjoyed the sound of Water. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help you with explaining and choosing what you are looking for.
Best tea, best place to try all the cup of teas of the world snd watch the dubai mall waterfall.
Their afternoon tea set is pretty cheap, and worth it, I highly recommend it.
Note: everytime you go write down the name of the tea you tried, so you don’t forget it, and try always a new one. Their menu lf teas its just too huge.
My first impression of TWG was the music...absolutely loved it! The restaurant is right next to the waterfall in Dubai Mall and this further adds to the serene experience.
The staff are friendly and service is quick. We had brunch and it was lovely.
Amazing place and lovely staff and superb menu ❤️ ..and the tea 🍵 can’t help but to take some home 😜 with nice fountain on the background 😁👍 I just love everything here 💕
What a tasty tea really since 1837 specially blended tea with amazing taste tried the silver and black tea celoni also helpfull staff amazing view make you feel like home with a very tasty sweets and afternoon tea glad i have tried will definitely be back very soon
Been waiting for an excuse to visit this place and finally did. I was overwhelmed by the tea selection and completely impressed. However since it was a quick stop prior dinner plans, we opted for passion fruit tea and a selection of finger food. Everything was just perfect and add to it the location just made the evening brilliant. Staff were courteous and helped us with the choices as it was our first visit. Can’t wait to get back and try some more delicious tea.
Bought black tea which is their signature collection a must for someone who loves black tea!
Had fruity tea and flowery tea- lavender and mint tea!
Scones and creme brûlée along with their veg sandwich is a must if you are going there!
And the visual treat is of course there since it’s just near the famous waterfall in the Dubai mall- ground floor!
Always my favourite place for tea. The tea flavour are too many and soo good!!
The service is good, but the waiter wasn't that good as my expectation.
The food is also good and tasty!
Love the macaroons, not too sweet.
Overall is ok, but a bit pricey. In the it was worth it !
My brother always go there and he took me against my well , surprisingly I loved their tea !! Vanilla flavor it tasted really nice !!
I would also recommend their macrons especially the black color one not to be messed !!
Their staff are super friendly and the place is located near the fountain inside Dubai mall .
Food(4/5)
Service(4.5/5)
Ambiance(4/5)
I've always loved the tea from TWG: high quality tea leaves, huge varieties to choose from, and really fragrant blend (if you like blend tea). I had a Pink Flamingo the other day when I passed by Dubai Mall, and it was really great!
Amazed to find so many tea varieties from around the world . This place serves good but not great Tea in town . Loved the beautiful ambience .Great place to be .
With the overabundance of Cafés at the Dubai Mall, TWG is a refreshing change in more ways than one. Located near the fountain, this is a charming little salon filled with hundreds of varieties of teas. My favourite will always be the Jasmine Queen Tea. I've had Jasmine Green Tea in so many places, and even have quite a selection at home. TWG is the only brand so far that has got the aromas and flavour right.
There is a small but satisfying selection of short eats to go with your tea, and the smiling staff makes the experience better. Though it gets a bit loud outside, when crowded by tourists.
Tea is an art, and really this place shows that. Under Dubai mall falls this boutique is located with more than 7000 kinds of tea, the menu is very long that took me long time to read it. I have ordered royal Moroccan tea, the smell, the taste and the serving time where amazing.
Photos show it all.
If you love tea, this place is like paradise for you. The selection is outstanding (though not everything was available on my last visit), and every tea is fragrant and flavoursome. I stopped for a quick break in the afternoon - you are right next to the waterfall fountain, so be aware that it is not very quiet (but the view is beautiful). I had their 1837 tea set which includes:
- a tea of your choice (I had jasmine green tea)
- scones with clotted cream, jam and jelly
for 80AED. Tea was fantastic, but I found the scones OK - they didn't seem very fresh and they weren't too warm when they were served, but they were tasty and the cream and jams that came with them were lovely. Service was extremely attentive.
Oh wow! The location is right at The Waterfall in Dubai Mall. The sound of the waters is relaxing, and as i sipped my Silver Moon tea i felt calm, even when there were a hundred people passing by. The servers were very welcoming, friendly, all smiles and knowledgeable of the menu. They assisted me while i chose which tea and cake to order. The Gold Cake was very beautiful and the Creme Brulee was not sickeningly sweet. Everything was perfect.
Thank you for this experience. I felt spoilt and pampered.
To me, TWG serves the most affordable afternoon tea, with delicious options of scones and cakes. I always find myself in the outlet once a week because of this.
Don't think I've ever tried tea that tastes so good. The menu has over 250 kinds of tea from all around the World. This place has become a ritual everytime I visit Dubai.
I love my tea! I've been meaning to try the TWG tea salon for a while and I finally got the opportunity to do so in between my shopping. I ordered the 5 o clock tea, unfortunately they didn't have it so they gave me another blend that was similar. I found it to be very strong for my taste but it was a good tea, great bold flavour. We ordered scones which was delish! I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have strawberry jam that day but they gave us peach and passion fruit jam instead and it was a great variation and something different compared to what we're used to. Their Creme brûlée was great! Perfect size so you can still enjoy your scones and tea without feeling too stuffed! The service was good and the waitress was pleasant and helpful. A great view of the diving fountain as well.
I popped in for some evening tea with my sister and ordered the Masala-Chai tea. The taste and aroma is amazing and isn't too expensive price wise.
New experience surrounded with thousand of Tea. I tired 3 different tea and amaze to find there essence and taste was amazing. Service was amazing only discomfort if found was seating it was too congested as the area was too small for seating
Quite interesting concept... my experience was excellent as we only had tea and the options for selection were numerous. Will definitely come back for the jasmine white tea.
Great tea selection, elegant set-up, relaxing water feature and amazing staff! Rheison patiently assisted me with my random queries as I was contemplating buying a tea set. They have over 1000 tea selections and a great book that educates you a bit on tea appreciation, geographical info, etc. I'd definitely go back and would recommend it to serious tea connoisseurs!
Tea hi tea plethora of options. Gem of a place for a genuine tea lover, and if you have company great, alone not to worry the staff is helpful and courteous. I even went back and saw how they make it. My favourites Spice Route green tea and Rivera Black Tea. Yes, a little over priced especially water... but I paid the price for the experience as well no complaints ☺
If you are looking for a good tea time. This is the place! An enjoyable experience with a huge variety of tea selection. The breakfast is delicious and fresh. It was a good morning at dubai mall with the sound of the waterfall. Recommended for another visit to try white tea rose!
Oh I just love this place! It’s so English with all the tea options that you see displayed all over the place … And the location! Just next to the Dubai Mall Waterfall … So you really feel like this is not inside the mall, but a secret place …
I usually come here for breakfast, as I like their options that carry city names: Dubai, Singapore, New York … and Midsummer Breakfast … Yes the last one is just the odd one … But makes you just want to try each every time you are here :)
I ordered the Singapore Breakfast, which comes with the signature TWG tea, fresh juice, a choice of croissant, scones, or muffins … The main dish is farmhouse eggs omelet, with turkey bacon, mushrooms, a choice of truffle oil or Gyokuro Samurai tea leaves … You need to have this with the truffles because they are just outstanding!
They didn’t have the scones on that day, so I opted for dates muffins, which were nice.
The waitress was very friendly and very informative on the tea options, so I left it for her to recommend the right tea for the dish. Be surprised.
I buy my monthly supply of green tea from here … So you won’t be disappointed.
What a tea house. A real treat to have visited this place and tried some refreshing Green tea. I have personally never seen a tea menu this diverse and the options are just mind boggling. No country where tea is grown is spared and what ever is in your mind you will find more than that for sure. I tried the Lung Ching Imperial and it was really some of the best tea I have had. A must visit folks!
Superb tea, particularly love the French Early Grey, Alexandria Tea, Moroccan Mint tea, Grand Jasmine and Rose. The pastries are made fresh in Dubai, the quality shows. The macaroons are perfect in terms of freshness and texture, but since they're all flavoured with the teas, the taste can be hit and miss. Clever colonial branding, this place was founded only a few years ago. Still, the tea is great.
After a heavy meal, we opt for a nice tea and a quality one that we decided to try and settle in here. We've heard about this shop before and the tell-tales about their teas. Furthermore, dining area has limited capacity and tables are at close distance from one to another but manageable. Indeed, this shop is a house of teas; we were so amused and amazed at the same time, the server gave us a menu of over many hundreds of choices of different teas worldwide that we were so confused of what to order. However, staff are helpful enough and displays amazing hospitality. Love their tea preparation and their cutleries and wares, it look so exclusive. The cake dessert, though pricey, but taste so good and not so sweet. Also, it added advantage that this shop has a great location -overlooking the waterfalls, so kind of refreshing and relaxing to have a cup of tea here. We hope to come again....;)
A very nice place to visit when you want to taste the wide varieties of tea worldwide. Sitting next to the water falls inside the Dubai Mall, the nice ambience added a plus factor for the loyal customers to enjoy. Not to mention the accomodating staff and their very hospitable treatment of the customers. 😆
This is one of my favourite places to go to in Dubai Mall to relax or have a chat marathon with my bff. In fact TWG is my favourite tea house in the world having been introduced to it for the first time in Singapore many years ago! I love everything about this place! The fact that you have a selection of 100s of teas to choose from, the classy ambience, the yummy desserts - even the standard scone, cream and jam experience it's better than any other place I know! Love love love!
Been to this lovely restaurant for a couple of times. The service is great. I always order the creme brûlée which is perfection and the vanilla macaroons partnered with their famous silvermoon tea. The only downside is they always run out of vanilla macaroons which are my favorite! They need to make more of them! ?
Amazing Food.. Must try Grilled Salmon, n desserts Crème Brulee and Chocolate Fondant.. Plenty of options for Tea and dey let you smell the tea dust n decide wat u want.. Good presentation and helpful staff..
This is a quite chic place for a tea and food round up. The unique oval shaped glass and shiny yellow set up is very eye catching with the spot near the waterfall.
They have a nice ambience which may not suit all as all around your own island in the salon, there are visitors posing and it can be quite noisy just outside the place. The innumerable yellow tea tins creates quite an bemusing atmosphere which attracts me. Seating arrangement is a bit close but manageable.
Service is quite good and fast. Very helpful and good guidance from the attendants when they are not busy. The Menu being very exhaustive -especially the tea part is like a small dictionery, guidance might be very essential for many. In my case, I don't take tea and I wanted to check out the food and I have been quite happy with the options. Been there few times after the initial hesitation.
The breakfast and salad options have lots of permutations of tea infused combinations. I didn't feel that much of a qualitative change for that. I have taken Chicken mescarpone, Eggs Benedict, Duck Magret, Grilled Salmon and some breakfast combos. I loved the Benedict and Duck more. The desserts are exceptionally well made. Tarte tatin and the creme brulee were too good for me.
I won't suggest this place to everyone. But if you like continental and are fond of experimental tea related food with a British touch, You might like it. I like it very much.
TWG will always be one of my favorite places for afternoon tea...
The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to explaining their endless tea selections (that list is seriously long)
We got two tea sets one with a crock misure, macaroons and a dessert
And another with scones and three sandwiches (tomato and cheese... Smoked salmon... And prawn sandwich)
Everything was lovely and yummy~
It cost us 150 and we were 3 ppl with plenty to eat (for afternoon tea)
I wouldn't say it's the cheapest afternoon tea in Dubai... But it's one of the cheapest FINE afternoon teas in dxb ????
Been there a few times for afternoon tea. The female waitress is very friendly and has knowledge about tea. Food is above average and cakes are nice. Apart from the fact that our table was a hit wobbly on the floor, everything is nice. Price is reasonable too for a brand like this. Thousands of tea to choose from. I like valentines tea.
I have had better afternoon teas in Dubai but if you are in the mood of one and are in the area TWG is not a bad option to try. They have some of the most exotic flavours of teas available. Small but very nicely done place. If you like the tea you have had you can buy a pack to enjoy at home too.
One of the few tea houses in Dubai, unless I'm looking in the wrong places. The TWG franchise offers the finest teas in the world, apparently. So what did we think? Being a Yorkshire man I know everything there is about tea; boiling water, a good tea bag and lots of milk! So when I sat down and had a look at the tea menu I was well equipped to order, right? Wrong! The menu was the most extensive I have ever seen, some very exotic teas from around the globe, Boy was this going to be a tough decision to make. "The little Critic" had no problems, she doesn't drink tea yet! She ordered a lovely chocolate desert which was rich in chocolaty goodness. My wife went for the London tea which closely mimics English Breakfast and I finally decided upon morocco mint. Now that might be considered a silly choice bearing In mind I have had some great Moroccan mint tea in Casablanca and often make it at home with variable degrees of success, How good can TWG's version be? Well I was pleasantly surprised. The tea was very delicate in its flavors, not bitter which is often the case with Gunpowder green tea and the mint was masterfully infused to the correct strength, I happily drank the entire pot.
In terms of food, I ordered the mini burgers which were pleasant enough for a light snack. My wife opting for a tart from the extensive desert counter which I must say was presented very nicely.
All in all a lovely setting for tea. The waterfall in the mall makes for a pleasant backdrop and the place itself has the right feel about it. "The Little Critics" verdict, 2 thumbs up
