I make sure to limit my budget when dining out so pricing here is not so friendly for me.
We ordered paella. I think it tasted lemony - different on how i know paelle is, but i enjoyed because I like sour food. Pasta was mild in flavor but appetizing. Surprisingly serving is good for sharing.
I would like to try their shell food and make use of their hammers, hopefully they offer tempting promotions
One of my favorite restaurants in Dubai. Whenever I have a visitor, they ask me about this place. We always enjoy the food and the service is always great as well.
To be fair, the fries were soggy and we didn’t like it. The rest was amazing.

ll start by saying the scenery on the Friday afternoon I visited the restaurant was very pleasing, the decor of the place is cozy, modern and laid back, we loved that part.
We tried a bit of everything and my favorite items were the Raspberry Sangria (absolutely amazing) and the Paella (huge, tasty), the Grilled Oysters were OK as well as the Tom Yum Soup, overall it was a fun, worthwhile experience.
Friendly staff, always with a smile on their faces.
Today I tried Aprons and hammers, I ordered the mix sea food plate which basically blue crab sea shells shrimp and corn , it was amazing fresh and well done , the crab was smooth and nicely cooked, I highly recommend this restaurant specially if you sit outside next to sea view.
The name says it all! Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Seafood is fresh and delicious. A great variety to choose from. What better way to enjoy seafood than on the beach front
I was there for lunch, the place is nice and the staff is friendly. The food is as expected, it’s a mix between fast food and premium seafood... somewhere in the middle. It’s quite tasty though!
Every time I am in Dubai, this is where I go for seafood. We ordered the mud crab, clam chowder, crispy calamari, fries, shrimp and lobster. The service is excellent, the view is beautiful and the food is perfection!

I just loved their ambience , the interiors were very eye pleasing. They are very well known for their sea food . It was delectable and flavourful. Totally loved the concept of aprons and hammers which is very innovative and creative ! The staffs were very courteous and welcoming. Overall, a very good experience and service.
A really nice place right on the beach. Their portions are huge (so when they say it’s for 2 people - it’s actually for 3 to 4) ... the seafood is very fresh and brilliantly prepared. The reason was the star less was the Paella was a let down - nothing like the real Paella
We had walked the JBR so much that we knew all the restaurants and we wanted to try this place for the seafood. Lovely place with great seating options. We started off with classic crispy calamari and raging hot shrimp. The shrimp made my day. That sauce was just awesome and also the shrimp was fresh. Calamari was also good. For mains, lobster roll and Thai red seafood curry. Lobster was fresh and the portion was great. The red curry didn't disappoint but it was not tangy.had a mojito and a peach ice tea to finish things off. A perfect place to go for seafood cravings.Not an economical place but was worth it.
The best seafood restaurant in JBR. My favorite is the old bay blue crabs boil. It is well spiced and cooked. The portion is also worth the price.

This place by far is on the top of Seafood places I’ve been to in Dubai in general and in JBR specifically... we went there as a group of 9 people, we ordered the mega pan Paella and a pitcher of Raspberry Sangria and everything exceeded expectations... their service, quantity and quality of food, ambiance and view all is just amazing !

Went here at around lunchtime. I love the ambience of this place and its green plant interiors. Ordered their Seafood Paella and grilled sea bass. Both tasted great and just the right amount of serving for couples.
Visit for dinner here. Six people almost 1200aed spend. Not reach the expectations. Oysters, soup, calamari are good, but the bucket and paella do not taste as good as we expected, the paella is cooked separate from seafood, different from Spanish style.
The environment is good, we sit outdoor, and it’s really nice to dinning outdoor This season . The desert we order chocolate cake and apple pie, chocolate cake very tasty. Apple pie is a little sour.

We had crispy calamari avacado n shrimp salad , steamed black pepper clams( fabulous) seaside seafood platter .the ultimate was aprons n hammers Paella ..and end such a feast the apt dessert was the cheescake 101.

Possibly the best place for crab, lobsters and prawns. While a bit pricey options you do get a decent spread ... like the blue crab buckets with lemon butter and the sea food paia... service could improve and the ambience/seating is pretty good
Aprons & Hammers is a nice place since I’ve been craving for seafoods. I like the ambiance and the food is fresh and has a good amount of servings.
The seafood paella we ordered for me it has too much lemon flavor in it.. I should’ve ask to lessen the acidity. Since it was my first time, over all it was good. The servers were nice and very friendly.

Whenever i am in Dubai, i cannot but visit this place. I love the ambiance, sweet staff, and tasty seafood. My forever favorite is their lobster and the accompanying sauces! I got to celebrate my birthday there too!
we were very excited about our visit to the Seafood Restaurant and it didn't disappoint. the restaurant is bright and well spaced. Staff were very courteous and knowledgeable about menu. The only difficulty we had was settling on one starter and main each, the choice is so varied. The food was amazing and we were given plenty of time to saviour every mouthful. We definitely enjoyed our visit!
Loved the setup... hated the smell... well it’s a crab place what should I expect 😉 nevertheless, when the food came in, this changed ! Excellent stuff! Marvelous appetizers and excellent crab meat! Paella is so so... needed more “soul” in it! When I added some of the tangy sauce ... it was ok! Recommended highly!

So went here today for my bday, was annoying to locate on google maps but he who asks questions can never be lost. Located the place, warm welcome, funny and friendly staff, very helpful with the drink suggestions. I personally recommend the raspberry sangria, it is literally to die for. We had the mixed bucket which was super tasty for us seafood lovers. Their crab is wonderfully made and the shrimp is also good. It’s a bit pricey but worth the portion sizes. For appetisers the spicy wings were great and the calamari was delicious. I definitely recommend for seafood lovers. 5/5.
We went to Aprons & Hammers many times. Food is tasty but best thing are steamed lemon and pepper clums We really enjoy them always. Definitely we will be back ;)
If you are craving sea food , wanting something casual fun and yummy then its aprons and hammers . Not your traditional sea food place. Ambience is good , service is great , food is yummy the trick here is to choose the right sauce for the right dish A.Recommends :

Loved the place. Started off with a plate of crispy calamari.. it was fried just to perfection.. then came in mud crab bucket .. it was amazing, heavenly and the perfect. Loved hammering the crabs and scraping the meat.. one of the best dinners in UAE..
Friendly staff and simple seafood at its best. A good place to visit if you want to dig in and binge on some good seafood by the beach. The La Mer outlet is just the perfect brunch place to be at on a lazy Friday. Recommend the seafood platter to get you in the mood.

I can honestly say that "Aprons and Hammers" managed to make our day (or at least my day) a little better and temporarily took my mind off of the worries of the day . My friends and I visited Aprons and Hammers for lunch on Saturday; however, it was a STRUGGLE getting there as we encountered car trouble on the way and must I say I am not eager to face the ever more incoming scorching summer......Now back to the matter at hand, we ordered the Shrimps and Pomelo Salad, the Fried Calamari Appetizers, a Bucket of Blue Crab in butter and lemon sauce, and a Bucket of Shrimps (split in two between chilly sauce and butter/lemon sauce). Technically, I was avoiding gluten and dairy so I asked the waiter for the options that would be gluten free, hence the salad and the shrimps split in half for two sauces, but I must also say that although I did slightly cheat in the consumption of dairy with the butter sauces, as technically I am not completely or I have recently implemented this diet, for some health reasons and I'm not chronically allergic. Now I don't know how far the spices and salad were really gluten free but in terms of taste I think we enjoyed every one of our choices. I also tried one calamari ring, and I must say if I wasn't trying to implement "gluten-free" limits I would have devoured it all. FEEDBACK: The crabs were DELICIOUS and so were the shrimps. The experience itself with the gloves, utensils, and aprons, and cave man eating was a CHILDLIKE SATISFACTION! I mean how often can we just dig into food without bearing in mind etiquette and keeping clean. . I'm very sure I would have enjoyed other dishes very much (for example the lobster with cheese) I wasn't trying to limit my intake of dairy and gluten. Overall, we thought that the spicy chili and sweet chili sauces better complemented the seafood, as the chilli was mild in taste and not hot to the taste buds at all. SUGGESTION: maybe there could be additional variety of spices as well mixed combination options made available for customer choice for example if a customer were to desire to mix between butter lemon and chili spices. Other suggestion is to maybe find a way to allow the sauces and spices to enter deeper into the seafood. COMMENTS: Overall the waiter was accommodating to my questions and requests but I did feel there was a sense of hesitance from the waiter or the chef in terms of the special inquiry and request about gluten/dairy, which is why I encourage to make this kind of matter more common or knowledgeable to the staff, as although I did have a special request I would not suffer a critical allergic reaction if I had consumed something with dairy or gluten; however, in the case of other customers who might make such a request and were strictly allergic than one might not be sure of consequences. *Maybe ADD more detail to menu, there was some entries which showed vegetarian for example, but bringing in more detail, like nuts, dairy, soya, gluten, wheat would overall simplify the task for the waiter and help the customer directly. CON: there was a kind of a stretch between the time we sat at the table and someone actually came up to take an order, also what I know about similar concept restaurants is that the waiter/server should provide a minor demonstration about how to deal with the special utensils - crack, snatch, and eat the crabs for example. I myself had experience with the crabs but two of my friends were NOT - I did end up informing and demonstrating what can be eaten from the crab and how, but is something one would usually expect from the kind employees.
A huge dining hall at Aprons & Hammers, The beach branch but not too crowded, even during weekends. It is a totally seafood cuisine interior set up and they provide you with gloves and hammers. Instead of their signature seafoods m, we opted to go for their chicken dishes. We ordered their chicken skewers and pasta. The pasta was delicious while the skewers was lacking quantity. We expected the skewer to be fair to the price of it. Well at least it tasted pretty good. Their pinacolada is the must try drink in their menu. Attentive and friendly staff.

Ordered Shrimp & Avocado Salad, Raspberry Sangria, Mixed bucket and onion rings! The food was tasty and awesome. Crabs n Prawns were awesome. Didn't like the sauces, I prefered to have without them. I came here twice and I really like this place. Their menu is extensive, the views are great and the interior superb. I love their virgin pina colada - probably the best I had in Dubai
with this beautiful weather aprons and hammers was a great pick for a sunset early dinner, the stuff were extent tried to accommodate our request and helped in picking the dish, food was perfectly cooked and of course the paella was amazing it is a must to try

2. Avocado watermelon feta salad: 3/5 ⭐️light fresh and refreshing. Only one type of greens in it would have enjoyed a different type more .
3. Fondant ya chocolate: 4/5 ⭐️perfect finale. Warm good and just right
I love this restaurant we invite our friends and family there most of the time. The waiters are amazing very clean even though it’s right next to the beach. We usually have The mussels with saffron and cream sauce the paella, grilled shrimp and lobster yummy. Highly recommended

I love the full experience but I must admit that the crabs are awesome much more than the shrimp but the last one is not bad either and it is easier to eat so if ur very hungry you can take some crabs and some shrimps.
The food was good. We ordered mussels with saffron sauce it tasted amazing, but make sure to share it because it is heavy. The paella is rich with fish, the salad is fresh. They mixed up with one of the orders

This has been the best paella we ever tasted. The enourmous amount of seafood and the flavors made this dish very unforgettable. It is so good to share with friends over a margarita. We are definitely going to be back.
Loved it...the seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. The choice was also fab. It overlooks the beach and the vibe is fantastic. The dips complimented the food perfectly. Just that we got cray fish nstead of the lobster.
A lot of heathy options and salads on the menu. Generous portions. Service is excellent. Located close to the beach with a lively outdoor seating, view of Dubai eye. Avocado & shrimp salad is a must try! Not forgetting the mint lemonade which is very refreshing. Staff offer service with a smile. We were satisfied and highly recommending the place.👍
We are lovers of Aprons and Hammers. Very nice ambiance and very good food. Our favorite is Paella for 2 (in the picture) - it is mouth watering. The crab salad is yummie and the shrimps bucket.
The seafood paella was good and the pitcher drinks of mocktails was a good compliment to what we ordered. And we were there just in time for the pre new years fireworks show with a front seat view. Will definitely come back to this place.

Food: My favorite destination for ultimate Paella taste. The rice is from another world and the seafood toppings of high quality. Also, the muscles bucket with Saffron sauce is addictive.
Service: Overall, friendly and food comes quickly.
Ambience: Location on the beach view and being outdoor is more than one can ask when having a seafood.
Prices: I would say "expensive" , but because they are so unique of they serving , we can only wish they would reconsider on some of their food lines especially all buckets.
Would I recommend or visit again? - Absolutely, will be coming back again and again with family and friends.
This is one of our favorite spots in JBR, the tables and the decor is very uplifting, we enjoy our clams and paella as it comes loaded with fish shrimp calamari mussels and beautifully cooked rice! Its an even nicer spot in winter, its almost always busy so you might have to wait a bit till you’re approached by a waiter.

This is a good place if you are a seafood lover. I am and I loved it. We ordered for the seafood platter which was a very good portion and amazing. Definitely coming back.
We had visited the restaurant many months ago but didn’t have this god experience. Loved everything. The service was a bit sketchy and found it to a bit inattentive. The floor manager came to the rescue though and was quite helpful. The food made up for that too. As the weather has turned pleasant and the patio was almost full the weekend night. We had grilled oysters, calamari and chicken wings. All were very good. The mud crabs in the black pepper sauce were devine. The mains were seafood paella, fish and chips and grilled sea bass. Again we loved what was served. The highlight of course was the paella.
Amazing food with the freshness and sweet taste of crab and lobsters. The perfect view and setting for sea food lovers. Try the mix bucket which has a bit of heaven in every bite.

It is my Favourite restaurant of all time, I love the food there and I can go there everyday without getting bored. However I was a little bit disappointed last night with the slow service. The food was amazing especially the Paella and the Mussels. My favourite thing there is the Crab Salad, but last night the Crab did not taste fresh, but still one of my Favourite places in Dubai.
When I first heard of Aprons & Hammers concept, i decided to visit and give it a try! The overall experience was excellent, the food tasted so good and ambiance of vibes of the plAce were pretty impressive! We order the entire menu but heart fell for the jumbo shrimps 😍
Tried it for the first time today. Honestly im not a huge fan of seafood, but this was surprisingly good. The least thing i liked was the lobster roll, but everything else was really tasty. My only concern is the service which is a bit slow and the staff is a bit inattentive. Will definitely visit again to try more items.

The crab bucket with garlic chili sauce is my all time favourite. We also ordered Paella which was alright I think it's bit dry and salty.
For dessert we ordered chocolate fondant which was nice but nothing special about it and nothing special in the desserts menu.

Great seafood, good service, nothing to complain about. The shrimp bucket we had with chilli garlic and also has some sea bass which was beautifully cooked. It was a bit empty on a Monday night which lacked ambience but other than that, it's good for seafood lovers!

We ordered mussels and calamari which was very good. However, paella was quite disappointing as the rice was not the correct type (I think it was basmati and obviously over cooked or cooked separately and added later on) hence it was not very good despite other ingredients was quite tasty.

We ordered Paella and Grilled Salmon. The Paella was really nice and the salmon was also ok but the dill sauce whom came with the salmon was so so so bad. The cheese cakes are really small for 35 dhs but the staff were very kind even though they were so busy.
I liked the location a lot! And even the design of the restaurant is pretty nice, the food is good. You can have from meat to fish I took a really good lobster roll!
Great restaurant, and a great fun experience overall especially when you have visitors ... Start with Crispy Calamari, Black Pepper Clams and Crab salad. For mains, buckets are always the best option to share King Prawns, Blue Crabs and Lobster. Provencale sauce goes nicely if cooked with Crab or Lobster. For sauce on the side, lemon & garlic. Meanwhile; their seafood Paella , in my opinion, is the best Paella you can find in Dubai !!! If you like Mussels, try theor mussels with Saffron sauce, it never disappoints !!
The sister establishment of the classic A&H located in the Boat in Dubai Marina is a good option if you are in the beach and craving for sea food.
The decor on the restaurant is great, it is a very nice establishment, but is similar to the other, they have become those places that make standard stuff, decent seafood with ok sauces and preparations, nothing else...
I had the same feeling that in my previous review of the other branch, seems have kept standardizing and reducing costs (e.g the Saffron Sauce is a joke is just cream...seems they dont want to spend in decent saffron).
Bottom line, Approns and Hammers seems to be on its way of becoming the UAE's approach to Red Lobster, a standardize approach to eating seafood, with lots of butter, bread and precooked sauces. A place to go with the family to have a decent meal, but a place that true foodies should avoid.
The place is very clean and properly lighted. I like the experience dining here bcoz the place is not very noisy.

Food was great. Fresh and tasty. Service and ambiance is good. We ordered mix sea food bucket with lemon butter sauce and paella rice as side order. Bucket comes with crap, shrimp and lobster with lemon cream sauce (they say butter but mostly cream) and good for 2 people(as photo). I defeinetely want to go there again. Most of menu items are reasonably priced but in my opinion main signature sea food items are little bit over priced (285 AED for a bucket). Regardless, for a nice crab, lobster, mussle and sheimp experience, i recommend this place.
To be honest, I am not a big fan of seafood and a friend of mine kept nagging to go to this place, so I gave it a shot and I am glad that I did!
From the moment I entered this place I fell in love with it! The ambience was astonishing and the staff are super friendly with good knowledge of their menu.
Now comes the food, we ordered the selection of oysters that comes in four different dressings which were pieces of heaven! And then we ordered the cheese lobster, I have tried lobster before and didn't like it, but this was totally different, I was able to eat the entire lobster without feeling sick the way I usually feel, I was very satisfied! This could be my new favorite if not the only seafood joint!

الصراحه وبدون مبالغه يعتبر انظف اكل بحري اكلته
مافيه ريحة زفره لذييييييييييذ انواع الصوصات والتغميسات مختارينها بعنايه
كمية الاكل راهيه جدا احنا شخصين كفتنا وزياااااده اكلو معانا اثنين كمان
ما انصح بطلب الشرب مو بنفس مستوى باقي الاكل ومافيها نكهه
الخدمه رائعه والستاف جميل وبشوش حاكرر الزياره بشكل اكيد وانصصصصصح فيه بشده
