Much better than last year. We had a dinner and could drink wine to the arabic food. That was great. The waiters are very nice and also the cook was open to spaek with us. Thank you.
After the long time of not having dinner a good place to relax and enjoy dinner. The food is perfect and the staff very friendly.
Beautiful setting next to the river. Our family had a table overlooking the river and it was magnificent. The staff were very attentive and polite. The meals were brought out quickly and were all delicious.
The kids meals were one of the best I've seen, choice and size.
Looking forward to returning!
So far we only came for some drinks and a shisha, sonthisnrating excludes food experiences, but what I saw on the plates around looked very appetizing.
My beer was not very full, but that seems to be a dubai sickness and they rectified immediately, so no deductions for that.
The ambiance is amazing as we say on a half shaded balcony in perfect whether with an arabic music that hat a touch of soft beats underlying and at a very decent volume, so that was quite a big plus as this is something a lot of arabic restaurants get wrong
The shisha was very good as well, just had to add that
We went to this restaurant twice for iftar and had their set menu the chicken freekeh soup , fatayer and their desserts tasted good. The terrace was covered then probably due to the hot weather but had a beautiful view. Good ambience and well decorated.
Food quality was good ! A bit expensive but overall taste of food and place and ambience was good ! Speciallt madinat jumeirah branch is good ! Only one issue we faced ! We were sitting outside in non smoking area there was an indian resturent manager smoking cigrett that irriratated alot even though he knowingly doing it. But times of arabia service and food was goos
The shisha was good and the food was delicious!
The lunch menu, which was until 17:00, was super and its price was good, something like the 160 dirhams per person. The view from the restaurant is also wonderful, so you will not regret visiting this place.
I visited this beautiful restaurant located inside the Souk Madinat Jumeirah during my vacation to Dubai. It has traditional arabic ambience, both indoor and outdoor seating, very romantic indeed. We ordered a chicken saffron biryani, spice potatos, chicken shawarma, cheese rolls and baklava platter. Food was good, i loved their baklava. It was a great experience although a little expensive.
The dubai mall branch was my fav but unfortunately it's been closed now..I've tried the MJ branch couple of times and each time had a different experiences..once the service was amazing and the second time we had to wait 15 min for shisha charcoal to be changed..i do understand that crowds could be the reason but overall the place worth trying..the food quality is nice but a bit pricy comparing with other Lebanese places..
Traditional arabic setting, ambiance, atmosphere and to top it all authentic arabic biryani which was a gem of a cuisine and to be relished only in such a setting the taste was bomb and the presentation outrageous
اكله و أرجيلته طيبة والجلسة كثير حلوة بتشوف عابرة مدينة جميرا سلطة الجرجير كثير طيبة والمشاوي وجربت الهبرة النية 😍 الخدمة جيدة وكثير مذوقين.
The view and the atmosphere outside is worth the trip to Dubai. The food is excellent and very well priced. All in all a place definitely worth going to for a casual dinner or a romantic entanglement.

Madinat Jumeirah is a beautiful destination that is always on my top list whenever I have friends visiting Dubai. The fact that we have to have one meal at a restaurant there is always top priority as it's perfect to soak up the true richness of Dubai. Recently we chose to dine in at Times of Arabia as it has a lovely view of the Abra station and also serves Lebanese food, which is a bonus for outsiders to try.
Get Set Gobble:
Their menu is pretty vast with a lot of traditional items. We started off with a platter of PICKLES and KHUBUS. Unfortunately they don't have the fresh hot puffed breads :( These are usually complimentary during a Lebanese meal.
Their HUMMUS and MOUHAMMARA are delightful. The presentation of the later was pretty unique from what I have been eating at restaurants so far.
I highly recommend you have the FALAFEL and BATATA HARRA. Both were well prepared with the first being crispy and the second tossed well with garlic. We really enjoyed it.
We also had the CHICKEN SHAWARMA PLATTER that was a big portion. I recommend you ask for the chilli pasta and garlic paste on the side that are usually not mentioned on the menu but go a long way in bringing the whole meal together.
Overall the food was way too much for 3 people to finish and we ended up taking it home as well.
Another great point is the fact that they have ALCOHOL as well along with SEESHA. We ended up sitting there for hours eating, drinking and smoking enjoying the beautiful city that is Dubai.
Great place to dine in and for the sheesha lovers you will enjoy amazing creek view cool breeze in winter season, with their quick service & fresh food highly recommend, love their veg soup & grill chicken 😊
Went here long 2 months back ..had forgotten to add a review
I have never eaten a better tasting muhammara and kunafa
I have become a fan of kunafa since I first ate it here. Amazing
However, music could be a bit lively ..the play Arabic music (which I love) but the realllllllyyyy slow ones and are not very happy about changing it if the crowd allows.
But once again the food beats any little shortcoming.

Times of Arabia Restaurant offers you the best experience of truly authentic flavors of Arabic Cuisine combined with a delightful atmosphere and the best Arabic hospitality. They serve you with best authentic dishes which include lavish selections of Hot and Cold Mezze and grilled savoury meats that suit your taste buds with choices of authentic desserts.
Everything was amazing! Food, atmosphere and service are 5 stars.
We ordered artichoke salad, kebbeh labaneye, 3arayes and hommos. Everything tasted delicious. After dinner we had this plate full of sweets and Moroccan tea, heaven.

Had been for Iftar and tried out the meat platter. The food is good but did not match the other restaurants I had been to for Iftar. The interiors are great which gives you the Arabian feeling. Service can be worked upon.
Food: 3/5, Ambience 3.5/5, Service: 3/5, Value for money: 3/5
The shisha, I had peach, was just brilliant as was the Shisha tawook platter.
The service, the view and the servers were all just right too. Will go back for the shisha!
I go there every year for iftar, and i love it!
The set menu is very good and has lots of options.
Price is very good and service is also good.
Recommended.
Overall experience 8/10
They food is pretty good and the environment is even better. Really good shisha and love their drinks. Their mixed grill and shish taouk is really good.
Whether I'm in Abu Dhabi or in Doha, Dubai will always be my ultimate Eid escape. I am always dreadful of the crowd but what better way to celebrate this festival than in a city rich in culture with people who appreciates the richness of dubai heritage.
My Eid escapade is never complete without a trip to Souk Madinat Jumeirah, the place that houses Taste of Arabia! Having frequented a number of lebanese restaurants, this one is novel in its own. The place is graced with outlandish ornaments and pieces which exhibits middle east opulence. Their staple arabic mezzes are refreshingly appetizing. They actually prep you for the next big thing: Lahem Meshwi-charcoal grilled lamb and veal meat flavoured in their special signature sauce. The staff are hospitable and attends to your requests in the most cordial manner.
It's so good to be back in Dubai
Exquisite experience for the lovers of Arabic cuisine. The menus is vast and the service is quick.
Shish tawook is one of the best in town! classy ambience and sassy servers this place makes up for the best date night in madinat jumeirah.outside seating and view are exceptional only if weather permits to sit out !n yes the breads they serve (read khaboos) are super soft n flavourful !
Did an iftar session here
The rich Arabic interiors definately set the mood and the food including the hummus, the kebabs and the salads are definately fresh and prepared well.
It's a good experience all in all but yes, nothing outstanding.
Visited this place during Iftar time & it was super packed need to make prior booking in advance in order to get seating for your self .
Warm welcome by the staff who took us to our respective table . Already cold mezza like Hommous , Moutabal , Fattoush , Tabouleh , Vine Leaves were kept on the table along with hot Arabic bread .
Seafood Soup is what I had decided to have and it was served extremely hot and it was incredible in taste , absolutely loved it . After sometime we were served hot Mezza which had Spinach Fatayer , lamb Fatayer , Cheese spring roll which was good enough .
Main Course decided to go for the mix grill which was very good which had lamb cutlets , lamb Kabab , Shish Tawook all of them were very good in taste . The meat was extremely soft and tender .
Desserts was kind of Dissapointing as the Lebanese sweets were not that great in taste . Kind of hard I would say not very much fresh this is what I felt .
Over all , Time of Arabia offers decent Iftar 👍🏻
I went to there for Iftar and my experience was excellent!! The place was fully booked, however, the service was superior and well managed. Welcoming staff and professional servants.
In ramadan they serve set menu ( soup, drink as laban julab or juice, cold mezzeh, hot mezzeh, main course and desert)
The portion of the food is good and the taste is yummy.
Total bill of two 320, it worth it because of the location, quality of food and service.
The decorations was so luxurious as well.
We had the cold mezza platter which was more than enough for a party 4. The food was served quickly and the drinks as well. The pina colada tasted amazing, definitely a must try! Great ambience and view!
Nice place for food. I don't remember what was order, but fish and fruit was amazing. The place and staff were very good. The service was also good.
Excellent food and great service and the location was awesome as well. Highly recommended for couples to enjoy the ambience!
Good job by the team as well!
Location, location, location and an interior which looks like it was designed by a middle eastern influenced bohemian gypsy tripping on acid, the Times of Arabia certainly has huge, love it or hate it visual impact. It is the perfect venue to take first timers to Dubai to. You will literally see your guests eyes light up with flashes of Lawrence of Arabia and Aladdin dancing around in their heads. We experienced this recently with my wife’s uncle and aunt, just in from London, who wouldn’t stop mewing and oohing even after we had been seated. But if we thought that was embarrassing nothing could have prepare us for the almost pornographic soundtrack we had to deal with when the beautifully presented food was brought to our table – XXX. Service was very good but I suspect that may have been because we were one of only two occupied tables. But it was me who made the loudest and longest of the noises that afternoon…when I was handed the bill. Ouch!
Times of Arabia is exactly the kind of restaurant I was looking for in Dubai. Very Arabic in every sense, the decor, music, and the food. Its like a scene from a movie, you can look out to the souk and water bodies. U ordered grilled chicken and rice the portions are huge. The chicken was super tender, soft, juicy and had very nice charcoal taste to it. The rice that came with it was one of the finest arabic rice ever with lots of ghee and pine nuts it was so nutty and buttery.
I really loved the food. However the service was an issue at first. They had alot of attitude and when I sat down they told me to move they were closing however they were seating other people in that same spot. Only when I started ordering they had become nice to me
. I dont like this kind of servers because you feel judged by them and cant have a pleasant meal. I gave high points for such a great memorable chicken, rice and arabic decors.
A beautiful place to have good decent arabic food! TOA has the best arabic bread (kuboos) served. Other dishes were just normal, like how food would taste in other arabic restaurants. But thumbs up to the ambience!
We had our Christmas dinner at Times of Arabia. I love the Arabic theme and concept. The waiters were very helpful and professional. We had a set menu of grills and kebabs. The starters were amazing. I was filled up just with the starters and couldn't eat the main course. It was a nice experience all together.
Excellent location in the heart of Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah. I only visited to smoke shisha (melon) and drink a Moroccan tea. They were both ok, but be aware, this place is pretty pricey, I spent 150! The ambience is great though, I sat outside overlooking the water. Excellent service too, recommended if you want to smoke with a lovely and posh view. I will definitely go back to try the food.
Very nice location, outdoor seating area with a nice view and well decorated. Food and service are good too. I tried the grilled halloumi, falafel, hummus with meat, fattoush and the times of Arabia kebab (lamb with honey). Hummus and kebab were my fav.
Well this place has good food, drinks and sheesha.
Interior is very luxury and arabic style, guests will enjoy it
Location is also good part of this restaurant as its just in heart of Madinat Jumeirah
This is a nice place and the environment is typical from an Arabic restaurant. The food we order was typical Arabic. That is what we wanted to try and we got it. I recommend this place and chose to seat in the sofa. Nice place.
Super friendly waiter, homely decor, delicious hot and cold mezzeh.
We tried a selection of things which were all delicious. the moutabel, hummus, vines leaves and hot crunchy falafel. Good hearty authentic Arabian food.
The only downfall was that the meat from the grill was a bit dry. I'll definitely be coming back here again and the view from the balcony during the cooler months is wonderful
So I came here for a normal a la carte dinner during Ramadan, which they only served post 9. The set up is beautiful. Very authentic Arabian palace feel. Nice comfortable couches and all gold everything. Had the entertainer voucher other wise the price would have scared me off. Ordered the hummus, mohawara, chicken sheesh kabab, lemb mehshi and halloumi cheese arayes. Everything was good but the lamb was undercooked and smelt funny and tasted weird. The chicken Kabab was the best I have ever had anywhere. If you are going for the cheese arayes go for halloumi not mozarella. Over all good experience with one dissapointing dish, will be sure not to try that again.
-Average service
-food is good
-Ambience is good (for people who enjoy middle eastern /arabian locations).
-Family /friendly
-Drinks (cocktails ) are my favourite on their menu .
Overall the place is worth to try.
Times of Arabia is located inside madinat jumeira, its not very hard to locate. Cozy and well themed restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating facility available. Since its a middle eastern restaurant we ordered fatoush salad which I tired for the first time and it was actually good, the next thing we ordered along with fatoush was hummus & khabous ( best and the softest khaboos I have ever had)
Shish tawook which was amazing, chilli potato it was extra tangy and felafel plate it was again okay I have tasted better felafel tikkis.
Overall the experience was good and would recommend the garlic paste you get with sheesh tau.
Went for Iftar yesterday and I must say it was worth the 160 aed. The food was well prepared and was a relish. The staff was courteous , though I found some staff members with a rude/tired look on their face. It was a three course meal, mainly lebanese and everything was good. The restaurant, needless to say is located at one of the best places, Souk Madinat Jumeriah. The ambience was good, compliments the food i.e. arabic. I would not mind going there again.

Summary : Lebanese food time at Madinat
Went to ToA for iftar with friends. GROUPON VOUCHER guys! Do purchase it to save some money.
Bought the offer for six people with sheesha.
It says set menu but feels more like a Buffet! The food is way too much for anyone to finish.
Soup, Starting drink and cold mezze were excellent! Ask for warm bread to be served (free!) instead of the regular ones. The hot mezze was not really hot and too much tamarind dressing was being used in all the gravies :(
Main course has a selection of mini-kebab platter and rice with chickpeas, both of which were excellent!! Unfortunately, we were too full by then to do justice to the main course. Didn't even touch the desserts which came after this (too sweet for our taste).
Very friendly and attentive staff. Although a bit confused in the start, but things smoothened out by the end. Our host got us some extra kebabs and hummus on request, which is rare when you're a voucher customer.
Excellent sheesha and a good variety of flavours served. Only problem was the AC tent where sheesha is served is TOO cramped and it got quite uncomfortable at times with the sheesha being kept close to our seats.
Do visit the restaurant during Ramadan! Worth it.
Walked into some really cool middle eastern interiors and what catches your eyes are the corner couches and hostess was sweet enough to accommodate us on one of them.
Drinks came on table promptly and followed by mezzeh and freshly baked tasty Arabic bread followed by main course
Great food complimented with attentive and non invasive service, a great place to treat your visitors who want to experience Arabic hospitality at a great place
We popped in here after a few beers next door at the Belgian Beer Cafe. Suffice to say we were satisfied with our meal and continued on our beer spree. Overall delicious Arabic food with decent shisha and an extensive drinks menu. Open late, which is a bonus.
Good quality Arabic food, served amongst plush seating of cushions, gold detailed furniture and heavy drapes straddling the windows. On a pleasant day, there is waterside dining with aircon piped overhead, but as the mercury rises I opted to sit inside. My party ordered an array of mezze: soujuk (spicy meat sausages), hummus with meat, tabbouleh (lemon and parsley salad), mohamra (chilli and walnut paste), fattoush (aubergine mash), and grilled chicken wings. We also ordered shish taouk (chicken cube kebab) and grilled quails. The only disappointment was the grilled quail which were, even by quail standards, small. Think Tweety or Woodstock small. Despite the miniature size of the three quails, they were nicely cooked and tasty. My recommendation to management is to give four or five quails to a portion of you can't find adult quails.
We were craving nice Lebanese food, our 2nd time here. Amazing as the 1st. I don't compliment any place i go to, its worth it.
Its a bit over priced, but considering the location, its understandable
Service is really good and friendly, the outdoor seating is very chilled and cozy
Hummus is very tasty. Great place! Awesome view. Service is very good as well as the shisha. Good place to chill cause the ambiance is very relaxing.
The sheesha here is really good! The best that I have had in Dubai during my trip. Food is decent. Nothing extra ordinary. Called for the mixed grill. Was well prepared. But is a little over priced. With the amazing view. An evening well spent!
