Dubai is the city of food, fashion and amusement. And while we've been to several places, Morelli's Gelato certainly stands out.
In the time that we had there, we tried their Cafe Latte and waffles, the sweetness of which made our day even more sweeter.
Located in the Dubai Mall, this open space has a friendly ambience and takes your immediate attraction with its purple and white interiors.
The service was quick and the staff extremely courteous. The quantity was sufficient for two and that combination of bananas and strawberries was just perfect with the waffles!
This place is known for it's gelato, that certainly is to die for. And we really hope to see its franchise, soon in India!
Ordered for Morellis Bacio and Bella Nutella. Both were served in 5 minutes. They were sumptuous and rich. The service could have been better
Morelli's Gelato is located in Dubai Mall ground floor and has plenty of seating area. The interiors and seating are chic in white and purple colors.
We had a hot fudge Sunday here. It was beautiful presented, had a surplus quantity and tasted amazing. It had one scoop each of Caramel, chocolate and vanilla ice creams topped with lots of chocolate sauce.
The pricing is kind of done right. And the sundae looked exactly like it's shown in the menu.

Just passing by this place & looking at it is bliss. It’s a kind of place which you can’t just pass by & ignore, it attracts you & how. Definitely a place to try. The ambience is lovely & colourful though the pricing are a bit too high but is definitely worth a try at least once. The place offers a variety of food options. The waffle, ice creams & pancakes are something I loved. The presentation is a plus point it instantly makes you hungry & happy.
My ice cream expert friend recommended it so I had to give it a go. To be clear, I’m a person who likes simple ice cream and avoids twists because of fear of disappointment. Morelli's Gelato did not disappoint! I loves the mix of flavors! They were so good and fulfilling! Recommended!

There’s a very specific time when you may enjoy gelato: anytime. It’s ice-cream’s fun cousin that isn’t crying milk all the time. And M is placed strategically to give you the dose on your way to the top of the world or on your way out, while you are still reeling from the vertical voyage. The presentation of M’s gelatos make it a spectacle worth your time and admiration.
Chubby dollops of mountainous goodness served in neat scoops in your paper cup. Italia has given has Da Vinci, but Da Vinci must’ve got all those great ideas every time he lapped up gelato – and that was often. Because la dolce vita layers the quintessential goodness of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry in on spoon.
I tried the chocolate flavour and the cookies one. both were good. but i prefer dark chocolate flavour which is not available at morelli's ice cream.
The best ice cream in Dubai. Sure that's a big call but flavours are authentic and pricing is very decent for Dubai. And the best part? They don't skimp when you want to taste flavours! Love it.
A delightful experience of having sundaes late afternoon. The pistachio delight was the favourite with the most tasty pistachio gelato. They don't serve the pistachio gelato separately it seems. and strawberry sundae was great too with fresh strawberries.
Tried the black forrest sundae, berry pavlova sundae, knickerbocker glory & amore cup. All were pretty good, good enough servings and perfect mixture of sweetness in the gelato.

Visited this place last week as I was nearby and was craving for icecream . Had the chocolate Venezuela icecream . Regular scoop which costed me Dhs 19/- . The icecream was scooped and served to me within 2-3 mins inspite of the heavy footfall which is actually pretty quick . The icecream was lovely , loved it finally my craving came to an end beautifully . Ambience wise it is located at the g level of dubai mall near the entrance to BURJ Khalifa which is quiet a prime location . Enjoyed at Morellis Gelato .

Who doesn’t like icecream? and I am no exception. Last week I got a chance to try out this place in Dubai Mall which is located at the center of lower ground level. In the striking combo of purple and white this inviting place was unnoticed by me until I get an invite from them. The Morelli family has been producing gelato since 1970 and is now a 5th generation family business,expanding steadily around the globe. They believe to make fresh batches daily for consumption and they are proud to have a milk based product that is low in fat compared to regular icecream.
Ambience- nice and quiet as I went on a weekday
Cleanliness- seems nice and clean
Dessert- I love that their ice-creams are fresh and not made of flavorings instead they taste of real fruit. They serving size of the sundae is good enough for 2 people
Service- fast, the servers were polite.

Their hazelnut and pistachio gelato is wonderful. My only complaint is that they charge a bit more than other places in the area, so I am often tempted to go elsewhere for my gelato fix.
Birthdays won't be complete without cakes and ice creams, right? And because it was a lucky coincidence that I got an invite to try out Morelli's Gelato in time for my birthday, we intentionally didn't order desserts during my birthday lunch to make room for Morelli's! :D. Located at the lower ground level of The Dubai Mall, the vibrant purple hues of Morelli's from afar already got me giddy! With a central bar with stalls filled with gelato, cakes, and pastries; in an open area surrounded by tables and chairs with happy diners; the atmosphere at Morelli's was so inviting.

When in Dubai, size matters. Be it the tallest building, the largest mall or Morelli’s Gelato. My dessert dinner at Morelli’s in Dubai Mall was nothing short of a trip down indulgence lane which had various stops like ice cream road, chocolate street, cream station and fruit corner.
It’s funny that I’ve always passed by a Morelli’s, but never stopped by. I’m a bit old school with my Baskin Robbins and Haagen Dazs, however I’m not one to shy away from a much lighter gelato, which is all what Morelli’s is about. I stepped into the purple and white store which is the same level as the Fountains and located next to Divan Patisserie. This was my fifth #Nomwithme event, and I was so happy to have successfully met five of my blog readers to date. I’m feeling pretty damn special. 🙂
Who is craving a banana split? If you are then I recommend you try it here! Its yummy! I loved the place and it was my first time here! Would definitely come back

I went to Morelli’s Gelato few days ago at their branch in The Dubai Mall on the Lower Ground which is very located. Morelli’s Gelato has 3 branches in Dubai, one at The Dubai Mall, one at The Beach and one at Mall of Emirates. The Morelli family has been making ice cream for five generations to a trademark recipe which was introduced into the UK in 1907, when Giuseppe Morelli, after emigrating from Italy, started selling it from the back of his bicycle.

Purple has never been more inviting! If and when you pass by Morelli's, you can not help but stop and stare! The gorgeous location, the large space, the delicious ice creams and desserts, you best know that stoping and staring is just the beginning!
They have a wide range of ice creams, and they're not the typical ice cream you would find at most other ice cream shops, their ice creams seem to taste somehow more organic. Less sugary, yet more flavorful. If you're a fan of sorbet, you would love their ice cream! My personal favorite ice cream they served me was their lemon one! Oh my, oh my, it was delicious!
I also tried their waffles, but honestly wasn't too crazy about them. I wished they were just a little fluffier and softer. Nevertheless, the nuttela topping fixed it, just as it fixes everything else in my life!
Their milkshakes were delicious! I ordered the Maltesers Milkshake and truly enjoyed it! It was so huge, I could barely drink even a quarter of it, but with each sip, I kept wanting more and more!
Overall, a decent place for a family or friends to stop by, especially after a long day of shopping in Dubai Mall!
Morelli’s serving ice creams and gelato for some serious Ice cream lovers in the town. Didn’t know this place until I visited here recently, and after the delicious and huge quantity ice creams satisfied me completely. The quality of ice cream is just amazing and the options are great too
A weekend movie date with my kids at a mall was followed by gelato time at Morelli’s. I had always heard great things about Morelli’s Gelato‘s Sundaes and Morelli’s was on my ever growing list of must-visit places in Dubai and finally I got a chance to visit them and indulge in their fresh and delicious gelato.

Have always thought to try this place just because of how elaborately the ice creams are presented. Well today was that day! (Since the entertainer voucher for the place was expiring soon :p )
So the order was a banana Sunday (vanilla swapped for chocolate icecream cream) and a strawberry Sunday.
Despite the big tall glasses I'd say the ice creams are quite small balls which is good in a way since you actualy manage to finish your Sunday and get to try all the flavours. I really enjoyed the caramel one and the banana tasted exactly like fresh banana. And the caramel syrup in the lil edible chocolate cup was a great touch. My only complaint would be that the banana they used for the split wasn't ripe enough.
The strawberry was equally nice again very true to the original strawberry taste. The ice cream was rich creamy and at a good soft but not water consistency ; but have to say it wasn't quite gelato either more like soft serve ice cream
Overall I'd say it's great for a try and having the voucher makes it reasonably priced (20 dhs each) but without the voucher I guess I'd feel a pinch if I had to pay 40 dhs per Sunday.
I would probably go back but maybe just for a scoop and not a whole sunday
Easy to find. Easy to enjoy. It is located in rather very crowded area - on the way to the fountain from the At The Top. But always have a seat left whenever I go. My favorate one is yogurt sundae, very refreshing and their chocolate sundae & nutella sundae are my all time healing dessert.
Was at mall when my little one asked for ice cream. Sat at Morellis, love the location and ambiance. Ordered simple vanilla and chocolate scoop, it was good. Left with a happy little man 👍🏼👍🏼

My favourite Gelato place in dubai so far. I love my ice creams. Banana Royale is a must try. Knickerbocker glory was alright. Serving size of sundaes are good for two.
Good planning with the interiors. I tried combination of pistachio and cookie gelato . Loved the flavours of both. Mango was good too. Tropical fruit wasn't that great for my liking. The staff is very friendly and sweet with a smile on their face always.
Tried the extreme coffee toffee frappe. Toffee flavour was a tad bit too much.
Cute concept but PLEASE ease up on the temperature of the HOT chocolate. After 20 minutes of waiting for it to cool down I just gave up lol
We came here after dinner for dessert and it was so good. It reminded me of the ice cream parlours in Munich where every thing tastes so fresh, creamy and unadulterated. Something as simple as their vanilla ice cream really impressed me. I think I've found my favourite ice cream place. I'll definitely be coming back to try out their milkshakes.
Great spot to satisfy your sweet-tooth cravings. Was in the mood for something sweet but not too heavy, so I went for the Maltesers shake [AED 24] while my friend chose the Coffee shake [AED 22]. The Maltesers shake was a fine blend of vanilla gelato, chocolate sauce, bits of Maltesers chocolate and topped with whipped cream. No complaints with respect to the service. However, it could be tough to find seating because of its location in the Mall.

Went in only for desserts after a good meal at the Counter , definitely recommend it for the sweet tooths , I am personally a big fan of chocolate myself. Looking forward to try some more. Prefered the Oreo Milkshake compared to the Chocolate one.

We went into this joint looking for great gelato and somewhat found what we wanted. We ordered the pistachio / dulce de leche & venezuelan chocolate / hazelnut. Pretty good but really really sweet, I'd skip everything and go straight for the venezuelan chocolate anyday!
Discovered a new Gelato place!! Nice sundaes. Very artistic. Especially the Sorbets, Love it to bits. Sundaes has a big serving. A very generous serving. Would love to try the Banana Split nextime. Very nice servers as well. 😉😉😉
It's hard to miss out on a gelato place especially with a prime location like Morelli's Gelato. Located near the Fountains (lower ground floor), a dessert joint having a variety of specialities to crave any sweet tooth.

I must say, it's one of the best sorbets I've had! Light and delish. Perfect to beat the summer with these flavours!

This looks like a fancy place in dubai mall and it attracts many people as you walk by the ground floor of Dubai Mall
Though we were full we tried 2 deserts : morello bacio and Bella Nutella.
Morello bacio waa better than Bella Nutella as it had good flavour and you could feel the distinct taste of the ingredients in in it, whereas there was nothing great in Nutella Bella apart from the Nutella part of it.
The one place i really enjoy sorbets ... They have much to offer from mango sorbet . To melon sorbet and seasonal tropical sorbets. U can experience the true Italian gelato here. Its an experience in it self
We went for the morelli's bacio and the hot fudge sundaes. The gelato was great really full of flavour the hazelnut gelato was my favourite and the cup of hazelnut sauce was to die for I loved the crunchy pieces. Sadly there was no hot fudge for the other sundae so we had extra chocolate sauce. We will be back to try this again hopefully with the hot fudge next time.
One could get confused in front of such an array of places offering high quality desserts in Dubai Mall. However, if you are craving an authentic Italian ice-cream, don't think twice... go for Morelli Gelato! Don't miss the salted caramel, simply irresistible!

For an icecream place, this is heaven on earth!! Wide range of gelatos and icecreams, their ferrero rocher icecream is a must try!! Although it is a little pricey, it certainly is something different from the rest of the gelato places!
We had a good dinner at Dubai Mall and were wanting something to satisfy our sweet tooth. It wasn't intentional for us to end up at Morellis, but since that was the closest one to the Dubai fountains, and one of the only ones that wasn't closed when the other restaurants were closing up. Yep - it was that late on a weekday!
Being the indecisive people we are, it was difficult to choose between two flavors, but the staff was quite accommodating and let us take our time. Finally, we bought the blueberry cheesecake one. YUM- so good! So smooth, so sweet and perfectly satisfying! Sure, compared to the usual Cold Stone and Baskin Robbins, it's much pricier, but it's good so definitely recommend others to go at least once for the gelato!
We had dinner at Eric Kayser and wanted to try ice cream. We came to this place which really has nice decor. Ordered 2 types of Sundae. They were really tasty and was sad because it had too much whipping cream. But overall taste was very nice as the Sundae was mixture of ice cream, frozen yogurt, whipping cream, fresh fruit, and syrup.
We had a very heavy dinner and were looking for a great ice cream parlor. When we found this gem called morelli's gelato. We had ordered for a small scoop of strawberry cheesecake. It is by far the best gelato i have ever had. Would definitely come back to try other desserts.

Wandering merrily along the corridors of a bustling Dubai Mall, a slice of Red Velvet cake caught my attention and screamed my name. I had to have it, so we sat down briefly and ordered it to go. The décor of the place was pretty and had a vintage diner feel to it but classier. Kind of like where the kids from Grease would hang out lol. I also ordered a cappuccino. The slice of cake was 23AED, which I found reasonably priced since it was decently sized. Now onto the cake, it was good, it was more of a reddish brown cake so I suspect they added cocoa to it, this gave it a slight chocolaty aftertaste. The icing to me smacked of mascarpone, rather than cream cheese, I stand to be corrected but the icing between the cake layers blended deliciously adding a slight tanginess to the mix. I found the outer layer of icing a bit too thick though.The cappuccino was ok. I hear really amazing things about their gelatos. I have an excuse to visit the next time I find myself loitering the corridors of Dubai Mall.
Found this place through an e-article about ice creams and I was not disappointed. Their sundaes are excellent. Friends and I tried 4 of them and a thick shake. All were amazing.
we have had many ice cream sundaes here. pur favourite being bacio and black forest. though their gelatos are good, their cherries (canned) are inedible and they are very stingy when comes to serving sauces on their sundaes.
Morelli's is my all time favourite Gelato! I have been to their outlet in Dubai mall and JBR as well. Since, it is my personal favourite I love their variety of Gelato's available and how every time I go I get to try something new as the special of the day!

The famous gelato joint deserved a trip during National Ice Cream Month and to top it off I had 50% off vouchers.
Located at Lower Ground Level in Dubai Mall, close to the Fountain, Morellis has good seating and great lighting.
I ordered:
1. European fantasy which was a chocolate vanilla with almonds in waffle cone. The waffle cone was fresh, the chocolate and vanilla were perfectly blended and the roasted almonds added a good crunch.
2. Berry Pavlova Sundae was a combination of wildberry sorbet, vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries topped with whipped cream, chocolate and raspberry drizzle. The combination of wildberry sorbet and vanilla was perfect as both flavors complimented each other well. The fresh fruits added to the flavor and the chocolate drizzle broke the berry party up well.
I am definitely coming back to try more of their sundaes.

Morelli's Gelato is located in front of Wafi Gourmet on the lower ground floor and is hard to miss with its striking purple logo and name boards. It just happens to be on your way to the food court which I feel is quite strategically placed as it makes you want to consider them for dessert on your way back.
On sampling some of the flavours I found most of them a little too sweet for my akin, but the hazelnut gelato was just perfect - nice and creamy and not too sweet. I settled on this whilst my mom sampled a few others and she settled for a tropical fruit variety. They have some good sundae options but again I could never finish one at a single sitting as I just need a dollop of sweetness to satiate my cravings from time to time.
Their varieties are a little too sweet barring a few. Hazelnut gelato is a favourite in my books and I highly recommend it.
Only place in Dubai I would eat Sundae is Morelli's. I have almost tried all of them and so far Hazelnut delight is my favourite. Prepare yourself to wait as the service may be slow at times and it's meal at its own.
It is a one stop shop for gelatos. So many different varieties to cater to all kinds of taste buds. They have a very pretty purple theme going on. They are these adorable glasses that they serve in. Creativity at its best.
They've got a wide range of flavours. I don't remember which one I had taken as it was a while ago; but it tasted really nice. The staff is friendly too (does seem a bit robotic though). They oblige to let you try out as many flavours as you like without any fuss.
They do it pretty quickly once you've selected your flavour.
It is a tad bit pricey though.

So I'm lactose intolerant, and finding a good sorbet is near hell in Dubai where there's not really a large community of us dairy-free folk, but this place.
EVERY SINGLE FRUIT FLAVOUR IS A DAIRY FREE SORBET.
Let's just soak that in.
I haven't tried any other other flavours (except from the little spoons) because I AM STRAIGHT UP OBSESSED/IN LOVE/FANATIC about the WATERMELON SORBET.
JUST DROP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING AND GRAB A SCOOP OR TEN RIGHT NOW.
It is one of the best sorbets I have ever had in my life (except for my own kiwi-kalamansi sorbet, but that's another story)

Hazelnut is my favorite gelato flavor and Morelli's doesn't disappoint. It's creamy and has a wonderful hazelnut/nutella-ish flavor. I can't believe I lived close to one for the year I lived in the UK and never went. I can't wait to try more of their offerings, and the sundaes and cups look pretty awesome. I was tempted to just get one of their delicious looking cakes, but I'm glad I went for the gelato. Next time, cake and gelato it is. Morelli's is a nice respite from a long day at the mall.
I remember we hopped on a Dubai Tour Bus and got to the Dubai Mall, tired and hungry. That was the first time I tried the Morelli's Gelato (I think as soon as we were done with the Fountains). Im not sure what flavour I tried but i think it was either the Coffee or the Nutella ... I enjoyed my Ice Cream till the last spoon. I can Assurely say this is my Favourite Ice Cream Spot Id go to anyday!
Located on lower ground floor on way to burj khalifa entrance. They offer very good ice creams but it's a bit expensive. The presentation of ice creams is very good with great taste
I went here with my mom. Pretty good gelato we each had a scoop and were satisfied. There was so much to choose from we had a really hard time. The staff was so friendly. I had the strawberry gelato and it was really good. My mom had the raspberry sorbet and I have to admit her's was better. We love berries, I recommend you have something with berries since it's the best. Will be back for more.
UPDATE: I came back to use the vouchers after my horrendous experience with the JBR Branch. I came here with my mom and we got one strawberry gelato and one wild berry sorbet both were really good served in some very nice long goblet type things with small shovels. I got a caramello and my mom got a karak chai. The caramello was really good but my mom's karak chai was much better. But the server forgot we ordered the chai so it look a little longer than expected but the service it much better then the one at JBR.

Shopping in Dubai mall really gets tiring all the time as the mall is huge and never ending. I always tend to get hungry after shopping and this is an opportunity to try out new places.
We were on the ground floor, close to pottery barn and we saw this gelato joint. There were a few people but it wasn’t very crowded. A perfect place to sit down and relax your legs.
The menu has a good amount of chocolate combinations for the cholocate lovers. But we wanted to try something different, so we went for banana split sundae. It was nice and the amount was good. Definitely expensive. The service was good.

Tired of shopping and killing heat I headed towards lower ground level food court at Dubai mall. While on my way a server from Morelli's Gelato asked me if I would be interested in trying new flavors. I was all up for it as usual and was handed over the menu to browse.
I ordered a chocolate nut sundae, my companion who is not fond of gelatos (yes! some people of this sort exist on planet Earth) ordered a Halloumi and mint panini alongside some Karak Chai. The chocolate nut sundae was divine! It was served with a hazelnut sauce so delicious and complimented perfectly to the sundae consisting of chocolate gelato. The sauce was served in a chocolate cup and it was so amazing to try out. I had asked them to add very little whipped cream but boy the meaning of little was like too much! The sundae was topped heavily with cream ,chocolate sauce and hazelnuts slightly roasted ones. If you think that was just too much well then you are wrong as the sundae is topped with flake chocolate too! Absolute heaven for anyone who has a sweet tooth. The Halloumi panini with mint was a good combo it was tasting nice but I was all interested in having my yummy sundae before the Dubai heat melts it away.
Overall the staff is friendly and helpful as well. They have a good selection of sundaes and are priced justifiably. The sundaes and gelatos which Morelli specializes in are served in unique cocktail like glasses and parfaits are served in boat shaped dishes. My only concern is that why is it located in Dubai mall where finding parking is such a hassle. Even if I find one I always forget where it is.. A place like Morelli's deserves its own independent outlet for it to be known better.
Ps: The chocolate nut sundae was so heavy that I couldn't have anything else after it.
