Home Bakery has one of the best milk cakes in Dubai! There, I’ve said it. Whenever I crave milk cake, this is my go to! It’s consistently fresh, delicious and so spongy. I’ve tried the original milk cake and the pistachio milk cake - both of which I highly recommend. My primary preference is the original one since it’s quite a classic and you can never go wrong with this one. If you’re a fan of pistachios, you must try the pistachio milk cake! I’ve heard that Home Bakery’s cookies are amazing too, but I’m yet to get my hands on those!

Definitely not a good place for breakfast. Tiny portion sizes and not worth the price you pay. Their milk cakes are good though - I would only go for those.

Tried the Saffron Karak French toast from Galleria Mall branch. It was nice but too heavy for 1 person. Menu pricing is on a higher side. Galleria mall is good place to hangout with many other food joints nearby.

Dh28 for an awful dark roast bitter burnt flat white which scalded my tongue. No thank you! On complaining I was told that a flat white has less milk and hence tastes bitter. Great job.

After the MANY recommendations, I decided to visit the Home Bakery some time ago and try their coffee that was described by one of my cousins as the best coffee out there! To be honest, reality was not as tasty as expectations. This was one of the few times I do not enjoy a recommended coffee shop.

It’s so divine. I have tried the carrot cake too which is equally delicious. The cream on milk cake is so light. The cake is fluffy and soft. The sweetness just the right amount. Something I wouldn’t mind eating over and over again.

I have been here twice - once for breakfast and once for tea/dessert. The place is always packed so there is always going to be a wait time, which is always a good thing because it shows how great the food and service is going to be. The place is weirdly structured so there seems to be limited seating. The service is on point. The wait time for the food isn't bad at all. So the first time I was there, was for breakfast, I absolutely enjoyed it. Especially the Nutella French Toast. Oh my God, it was so delicious, that I wanted to order one more. The cappuccino and the egg was not bad at all, but the french toast really made my day. My second time, I went for coffee and mainly to try the much talked about Chocolate Sphere. Now, I loved the presentation. The whole pouring of hot chocolate on the chocolate ball and it melting, but honestly, it wasn't worth it. After melting, all there was on the plate, was melted chocolate. Nothing else inside. Very instagrammable dessert though. Will still give it a 4.5 as I enjoyed everything else.

Must admit, The original Milk Cake at Home Bakery is the best in twin. We tried the original as well as the pistachio milk cake and original was far far better. Was so good, we ordered extra to make sure the satisfaction was reached. It's a must try if your a dessert lover like me. Ohhh, please don't try the pistachio. It wasn't great. Haha. But the original was too good. 5/5. ⭐️

We accidentally stumbled on to this place and totally loved it! We tried the Classic French Toast, Turkish Eggs, Mushroom Vol Au Vent and Earl Grey Flora Tea. The classic French toast was soooooo good and soft that I had to go “mmmmmm 😍😍😍” with every bite I took. (10/10) Turkish Eggs are their specialty and was recommended by their staff. If you are a fan of yogurt & eggs, go for it! You won’t be disappointed. 🙂 (10/10) Poached eggs & mushrooms on a perfectly baked puff pastry. Can anything go wrong? That’s Mushroom Vol Au Vent. (9/10)

'Home Bakery' has a very welcoming feel and that's what made my friend and me check out the place. We decided to get a 'Spanish Latte' and 'Honey Comb Milk Shake' for ourselves but ended up buying their delicious cookies as well. If you were to be there, you would realize how tempting the sight is. The taste sure does justice to the sight. We enjoyed our respective beverages too and made a mental note - 'if buying cookies, drive to Home Bakery'. Highly recommended if you have a sweet tooth. Note - they also have cute gift boxes. Chocolate boxes can move away as sweet gifting ideas, thanks to Home Bakery.

What a letdown! We've rarely passed by a Home Bakery without it being busy so we decided to give it a try and went to their Galleria branch for breakfast. The food menu is incredibly heavy. It is hard to find an item that is not drenched in cheese sauce or chili mayo. We ordered the Feta on ciabatta, Nutella cronut and their classic milk cake. The Feta tartine looked like an open mayo salad sandwich, not a tiny bit refreshing nor light. The cronut was dense and oily and left us with a heartburn for most of the day. The milk cake, the house specialty, was the best of the lot but not worth the hype and extremely sweet. On the bright side, the staff is welcoming and let us try their signature cookies.

All about good coffee and desserts I love this place for their pecan pie we could buy this over the counter but over the last year or so they require to be pre ordered. The coffees are great too and they have some great desserts a must to do for all those sweet toothers!! Staff are great as well the place is always buzzing with a crowd whether it's a weekday or a weekend

In two words - another overrated and overpriced place. Though food we tried was fine, nothing wrong with it, the bill was shocking. For 3 coffees, one sandwich and 3 desserts - we paid 300 dhs. I would give a credit to well trained staff for actively pushing most expensive items on the menu to first time visitors 🤐 If you visiting first time, and not ready to spend over a 100 dhs on one coffee and dessert, do not ask staff to recommend you anything. Their famous milk cakes not in the menu, so we just asked for one original and one pistachio (highly recommend by the waitress as their most selling item). What a surprise was to find out the price - original 35 dhs, pistachio 79 dhs! There is hardly any difference in taste to be charged double...And to be honest, it is nothing to die for - tastes good, but I would not have it again. We were also being nicely pushed towards Brazilian roast coffee, just to find out that they also charging extra for it without informing customer in advance... So overall - never going back there. For the same price I could have coffee and dessert in one of 5 star hotels coffee shops with luxury ambiance....rather than sitting in overcrowded, noisy coffee shop.

I’ve had the Al Ferrero a couple of times at the Galleria branch and the Dubai Mall branch and it has always been top notch. Unfortunately, the chocolate pour today was probably half of what they usually pour (see pic). Cost cutting much?? We also had the Pistachio Latte and the value for money on that tiny glass, is questionable! After adding a cube of sugar, I couldn’t taste the Pistachio bit.

Great for breakfast or quick catch up over a dessert and coffee. Love their Vol au Vents mushroom sauce. Their milk cakes are too rich and may taste a little heavier than it should. The preparation time is waaaaaaay longer than normal. took them 25 minutes to prepare one croissant in very quite morning. When i asked the staff, “busy kitchen” was his answer just like the pre-recorded messages 😂

If I had to rate them for the vanilla milk cake I would give a 5 star - one could make the trip just for the milk cake. Tried their tortilla, spinach pancakes and turkey Samit which were all good - coffee was really good but unfortunately in a small cup. This place is very popular, had to give it a try. Guess what it didn’t disappoint me at all. Being a coffee lover, this was one of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted and poached eggs with mushrooms was out of the world. Totally recommend this for good breakfast. Cheers !

My parents introduced this place because they love the milk cake. Their favorite is the saffron milk cake. I came here for breakfast once with my dad and once with my mom. With my dad I had all their flavors of milk cake, and the crack. The day I went I think their batch of milk cake may have been bad because it was so dry. Which is a strange feeling for a cake that is literally soaked in milk solution. The crack was an impressive looking dessert that tasted ok. Would I get it again, sure, if I had an intense chocolate craving. (But maybe no milk solution). With my mom I had the avocado toast and the spicy potato sandwich. She ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a honeycomb milkshake. The butter used for the toast was stale and smelled bad and we kept trying to get the attention of a waiter and they just ignored us. I wouldn't call the spicy potato sandwich a sandwich. If it wasn't for the stale butter the taste would have been nice. I honestly wouldn't order this again. It was a giant piece of toast with stale butter with two burnt hash browns, two fried eggs and a bunch of salad leaves. I really like the avocado toast because of the pomegranate and corn but there was a bitterness to the toast and the butter was stale. The honeycomb milkshake had no honeycomb and tasted like lotus biscuits. Which was a massive disappointment.

After receiving terrible service from a restaurant nearby, I was ready to try this place. I asked the waiter standing outside if they have any vegetarian options, to which he replied, "No, sir." I didn't believe it. I asked him again and he said the same thing. Then I asked to see the menu, and sure enough, half the items were vegetarian. I took my money elsewhere. If you're in the restaurant business, make sure your waiters know what food you're selling, and what the meaning of vegetarian is. Crappy service.

Very cute place located at the Galleria on Al Safa Road, it is always packed with young crowd. I always get dazzled in-front of the cake display and find it so hard to pick! Their Nutella Knafeh is heaven, Death by Chocolate is super yummy and I have to recommend the Marsh Heaven if you are really into sweet desert. Their coffee and tea selection are also great.

Home Bakery is one of those places that feels like you’re right at home the minute you step in. It has the same cozy vibe you experience at your grandmother’s house. This is a very cute cafe to chill at, read a book, socialise or even eat your grandma’s cookies at home away from home. Can get crowded during the evening times so it’s not a complete hidden gem of a place but that doesn’t make it less of a gem either, you’ll have a great time either way. I recommend the milk cake if you’re craving for something sweet, however the portion is quite big. Other than that, will definitely want to come back here to try more items on the menu.

The cake itself was slight more on the sweeter side compared to a normal saffron milk cake. After eating cake felt completely gassy and stomach was in trouble. The perfect hangout place for great coffee, cookies and catchup. We were here on a thursday morning at 10.30 am, and the caffe was packed. We found ourself a cozzy table for 2 inside. Tha caffe smells great and has welcoming staff. We ordered a rose latte, spanish latte and their famour chewy melt cookies. The rose latte was a perfect blend of coffee and delicate flowery goodness. The cookies were large, soft and melt in the mouth. Love this caffe and will definitely be hanging out here more often.

Hungry Chomper thinks: this is one of the best breakfast places and bakeries in town. One of the few places where every item that we tried on the menu was absolutely top notch! We tried the king's croissant, egg and bun, shakshouka, french toast and mushroom vol au vent. Each one unique and delicious. Their bakery items whether it's the buns or croissants are fresh and a treat to the taste buds. We also tried the pistachio milk cake which was yummy! For coffee lovers, their special Brazilian cappuccino is a must try. Do visit if you havent already.

We were looking for a place were we can have a nice cup of cappuccino and desserts , surprisingly it was amazing. We tried Ferrero and chewy melt sandwich. Along with pistachio cappuccino and a regular cappuccino. Would I come again ? Definitely yes!!! Everything is nice, the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks and the desserts.

You can never go wrong by ordering a milk cake at home bakery. They have different flavors, but the plain vanilla milk cake here is a MUST HAVE. It was super soft, light and fluffy and was half soaked in a pretty good amount of sweetened vanilla milk- just so delicious!! This portion alone is enough to fill your stomach. I liked the presentation of their iced-expresso. Loved the depth of the flavor it imparts after pouring milk. They give you a pretty good amount of milk separately in a bottle, so if you want a less caffeinated drink then you pour more milk; you can make it depending on how you like it! Their carrot cheesecake was probably the most expensive slice of carrot cake I have ever eaten, but I absolutely loved it! Cant wait to try other stuff from their menu!

A friend was raving about the milk cake here so we decided to come after dinner and I’m so glad we did. The milk cake was lush and I wish had forgone dinner and had just this as I couldn’t finish a portion. It was quite reminiscent of the Pakistani sweet dish called Ras Malai. I also ordered an English breakfast tea with hot milk on the side which was quite standard. Paid Parking is available outside but gets quite full but there is a free parking further down the road. The place also gets quite busy so we had to sit outside.

Surprised my husband by taking him to home bakery for his bday, a small cafe in Galleria mall that is always packed in the evening. They have the best milk cakes which my husband and I are addicted to. Highly recommended @thecutleries

However I’ve also enjoyed Nutella infused French Toast. The Crack And Chocolate Fondant. Any other choco lovers, let me know your choco hang outs! PS: usually with my dessert, I appreciate a green or a herbal tea. This is where I felt short changed in this time’s visit at Home Bakery, as the tea pot and the cup were replaced by take away cup - which I perfectly understand. However with that they downsized the quantity with more than half taken off, without any price change. Customer experience, gets a shake off there.. 👊👊👊👍 Home bakery has been a dessert place for me so far. Today I explored with The Crack and what made me go for it.....I don’t make my decisions too complicated..I hear Nutella..n I simply follow.. But when I follow, I have expectations that this has to be beyond good.. So how did this go..loved the cake, mix of sauces except the overly sweet caramel crisp that was cracked over the cake..that tossed my taste out the window to being just right to crossing the line of excessive sugar.. If you minus that, cake and the sauces, doesn’t disappoint you..

Every year on my birthday we order their Ferraro rochers/kitkat cake. It’s out of this world!! It’s a must try for all the chocolate lovers. We are also big fans of their flourless chocolate cake , chocolate cookies. (Everything is a bit heavy if you are not into too much chocolate) On the other hand my husband loves their milk cake. It completely melts in your mouth. It’s a bit pricey but in my opinion worth it!

Very expensive compared to portion. Used to be among my top 5 list for breakfast and cake destinations, unfortunately quality of breakfast and specifically cakes have gradually deteriorated,a long with quality of service as well. I hope one day it will be back as it used to be.

Love it. Best thing to try on your first time is milk cake, when you get bored of that switch to the brownie and when you get bored of that the sticky date pudding is the way to go (need an extra scoop of ice cream as there is a lot of pudding and not enough ice cream). Heard amazing things about the cookies but never had it. Been going here loads!

So heard about this busy place so decided to go there No doubt place is super busy . At 4.30 as well there famous milk cake was finished so ordered Saffron cake. Staff was very well informed and very helpful .heard there Pistachio cake is most selling cake.. they have so much variety but serving is good for 2 or 3 people. Great desserts! Yummy nutella hot chocolate and rose milk cake. Just sweet for my friend and my liking, but they said they can alter that the next time if we ask in advance.

Best dessert restaurant in Dubai by far. Also surprisingly great breakfasts. Favorite dessert is the ice cream sandwich which has ice cream smooshed between their signature cookies (great on their own as well) and fudge sauce I think. Not something that can be eaten daily but meets every dessert expectation when you allow yourself the cheat. For breakfast the croissant and scramble egg never ceases to satisfy. Light yet full of taste. Great spot, great food, highly recommended.

Interesting bakery concept where you will find beautiful deserts. The place is small but all the time full of people, so sometimes we have to wait for a table or you will decide to take it home like me :) my favorite desert there is the chocolate with praline nut filling

I have been to Home Bakery multiple times and I totally love what they serve! There’s not even one dish that i have ordered and disliked. I have had their most famous Forrero and Classic Milk Cake and I totally love it! I have also had their Nutella Infused French Toast, Arabic Breakfast that had 3 different kind of falafels, Café Latte, Chamomile Breeze, Choco Latte, and Rose Milk Cake. They serve the best and totally love the taste and food quality. The ambiance is really nice and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I never understood the fuss about this outlet...the long queue and long weight to get a table Sure the coffee is good , the dessert is good and so is the sugar rush But to wait that long for it doesn’t make sense to me Anyhow the Nutella cake is rich and delicious but what’s better is sitting in the restaurant next door and enjoying the view of queuing teenagers

Never tried their food so can't talk about service or taste , but when it comes to takeaway or ordering cakes for any kind of celebration this place is the only option in town comes to my mind...I believe the materials they are using for bakery is so fresh and high quality, in love with their chocolate and fruity cakes...

The service can be a pain when busy. However, the bakey does some very good treats like the Milk Cake! My kids love the cake and cookies as well.

Wonderful experience. Went for breakfast, The ambience was very good. Most importantly the guy naming Ali was truly friendly, he welcome graciously and provided various amazing options. Very much professional attitude. The Turkish Simit and Avocodo toast was awesome! Highly recommended. Will come back surely.

This place has to be my favourite for the amazing cookies and hot chocolate. The ambiance is so perfect and parking is not at all an issue. Great place. A little bit on expensive side but worth to try.

I loved the food .. it was absolutely fresh and delicious ... we ordered Chewy melt milk shake ,Cappuccino ,Home bakery hot chocolate ,Nutella infused French toast, Shakshouka and Potato waffle ... each and everything was super yum and finished rather quickly ... even the server was extremely friendly ... only thing i wasn’t happy with was the lady staff behind the counter had a cold attitude and the ambience of the restaurant gave me a very not kid friendly vibe ... so that made me really uncomfortable.. as i have a very busy and social toddler ... luckily they had baby chair so managed to keep him in distracted !! Only coz the food was amazing we enjoyed .. and thanks to the beautiful and friendly server (can’t remember her name but she was wearing braces)
