Their food is mostly southeast Asian food from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Also some Chinese dishes. The flavor of the dishes are so authentic. It takes me back home as I’m from Indonesia. The food is really amazing I recommend this place highly for a taste of southeast Asian food. Favorite dishes from here are the fried dhowstick with garlic sauce, nasi goreng, nasi lemak.
Amazing, pocket friendly friendly Asian food.tje portions are large too. The laksa bring my favourite, loaded with prawns, n tofu, this one is a must try. The Madi goreng too was well made and a dish that must be had if you visit the restaurant. The starters were equally good. Only thing I didn't like was the overcharged prawn crackers. The dessert was my favourite too. We had the fried banana n peanut roll.
Absolute malaysian taste. Ordered hokkien keow teow, veg fried rice, mixed veges for side , and nasi goreng kampung for take away. All tasted so yummy and authentic, as if Im having this in Malaysia itself. Very big portion as well. Worth the money . Pleasant dining environment . Will definitely go back again!
Quite disappointed in the char siu but everything else is great. Wait is a while but worth it for the other items we ordered. The char siu is not the same as I was expecting but it is not their fault as my palate is towards Singaporean hawker meals. The place is conveniently located close to a bus stop in a busy area. Menu is big so you can come back and forth without getting tired of the food easily.
I discovered Noodle Bowl when I was on the hunt for wonton soup and since then I've ordered from here a number of times. Quantity is great compared to the price and very comfortable to dine there too.
Definitely a must try!
Our all time favorite! For us Noodle Bowl never gets old. We are emotionally attached to this restaurant 🙂
The restaurant is small but decent. The food options are wide offering variation of Asian food (HK, Malaysia, Indionesia, Chinese, Thai, etc.).
This is the restaurant makes me speechless! I could not think of any item that is not delicious. All of them (or at least the ones that we have tried over the years) are very good.
We started with pecking duck with pancake and salad which thrills me with taste and how it is being prepared before eating it. Also, Turnip Cake with XO sauce (bean sprout and egg) is something that is always on our table. It is very unique, I never have seen this item else where. Very yummy, we always add another plate as it easily gets consumed. Nasi Goreng kampong, is another type of fried rice that has sambal, kangkong and dilis (small dried fish) - I know it sounded odd for some but I tell you this is something you will enjoy. Salt and Pepper Squid is a little bit crispy with the taste of capsicum as it is tossed on special tasty spices. Salted egg ampalaya gives you less and more guilt but overly flavorful.
Will we come back there? Oh yes! We can live there, in fact! lol!
Great food! Visited the restaurant with my family and we were not expecting the food to be so good. Our favourites are the Kway Teow, Nasi Gorenf Kamppong, Laksa and the Fish Curry or even the dumplings are a must try! Everything so far we have ordered have been 10/10!
Ive been a regular here since 2008 so i have literally memorized my favorite orders.
101 - BBQ duck with pancake. Trust me, i regularly try this in most restaurants. This is the moat affordable and most authentic roasted duck out there.
261- seafood tofu soup. This is a full meal in itself
861- seafood brocolli rice. My mouth is watering just thinking about this. If you like it a little spicier, ask for a chili paste which is sadly not for sale but would love to buy one for the house.
House blend iced tea. Addicted to this that i always have 1 extra order to drink while driving home.
I usually add a dimsum, but i get confused on which one to order most of the time because everything is so good that i end up doing a 'eeny, meeny, mini, moo'
One thing i do miss is their watermelon shake which they stopped doing since 2010. Wish they would bring it back.
Also, if you eat there at lunch time on fridays you'll get to see the owner roaming around at the back side.
Affordable, tasty and authentic chi-malay food.
We only recently discovered Noodle Bowl, even though it’s been around for a few years now. How sad for us! It may not be the most pristine eatery but we appreciate the no frills quality of the place. Size-able portions of delicious homey Cantonese/Chinese-Malaysian food at decent prices.
What we ordered:
Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry, Steamed Chicken Feet Dim Sum, Rice Noodles with Beef in Egg Gravy.
All delicious! We’ll be back for sure.
APRIL 9 EDIT:
Nasi Goreng is a must! The Hong Kong Flat Noodles fried with beef is good but not as delicious as the one from Long Teng Seafood Restaurant. The Wontons in Spicy Soy Sauce had generous meat filling. We both enjoyed it.
The steamed chicken feet dim sum was bland and tasted stinky this time!!! Will not order again.
Happy eating 🌷

A small but decent restaurant to dine in with family and friends. Surprisingly thr was nobody els apart frm us whn we went thr at 10pm. I dnt think tht was tooooo late for a wknd. We ordered for Watons in Spicy Soy Sauce, Kailan in Oyster Sauce, Crispy Noodles with Century Old Egg and Fried Icecream. The service was good, so mch so tht thy gve us a parcel of the leftover widout evn asking for it. I appreciate. The food was good n well in budget. Oh yes, while we started to leave, a group of 10ppl cme in for dining. Tht actually mde me feel so mch better 😊
Went here with friends... There were six of us so we decided to have lots of different stuff that we can all taste... And what a few idea that was! We had the soup, dim sum both steamed and fried, chicken and prawns, chilly garlic chicken, duck with pancake and the spicy chilly garlic duck.... I think we were in food Coma! It was really really good. The place is not very big and it's not very fancy. But what it lacks for if at all... It makes up with amazing food! The ice tea was one of the best we have had! Will def go back!
Craving for some Laksa and saw this place, its good the serving is good for two , paired with warm siopao and mix fried duck and chicken with rice. Service good but not so good maybe they are tire and its holiday thats why they don’t smile a lot.
I’m a huge dim sum lover and found this place. I ordered 6 different dim sums. It arrived quickly and the taste of dim sum was amazing! They were fresh, authentic, flavorful and happiness in your month ;) this place is definitely my fav already.
WARNING : You're most likely to experience repeated cravings for this food who's flavours jolt the senses & transform into comfort food. Best Chinese cuisine in town with excellent hospitality by one of the female hostess. The braised dimsums we're yum & the noodle soup was a melange of beautiful soft flavours. Totally recommend.
The beat and most authentic chinese restaurant in the city !!! The duck with rice was super. The best dimsum and chinese malaysian style. Please tey the char kwetiau, wantan noodle and hofan with fried beef
One of the best authentic Malaysian/Cantonese places in dubai! A real gem! I've been coming here for years and never disappointed. One of the few places which has proper kuay teow!
I love Laksa Lemak. It tasted like the ‘authentic’ Laksas I’ve known. Must try: Crispy Beef Fried Rice and Fried Ice cream.
Good ambiance and ample food portions. The menu book can probably be upgraded to the one with photos because some people are visual diners, like my friend.
You can easily get lost with all the items on the menu, don’t know what to order, especially if you’re new to Chinese and Malaysian dishes.
Very nice authentic Chinese cuisine, really enjoyed every bit of the food. The employees are very friendly and suggest the quantity. I would definitely recommend this place.
All time favorite Mandarin/Cantonese Cuisine. A regular guest in diyafa branch, Laksa lemak is 5 star, stuffed tofu is a bomb, beef in black peper sauce is tasty and a must try.. and staff are friendly and accommodating, Great!!!
Amazing food with very good portion. I hope the owners will keep this quality because I will be back too many times. Thanks God I found you in Dubai!
Found this restaurant accidentally when me and my friend are arguing about where to eat when we reached Satwa area, since I love Chinese food we tried it here. I'm not disappointed with the food! Definitely I will comeback to try other food in the menu. I ordered BBQ Duck and Chicken with Aromatic Rice and Chicken, the skin is so crispy and the meat so tender, and Shrimp Shumai so good as well, I LOVE ALL OF THEM! So delicious and also the chili sauce, so good. Service and the staff are not exceptional but the food are amazing! Worth the price too since the serving is pretty good. :)
Absolutely fantastic! Excellent taste and price. Highly recommend Chicken Sambal, Char Kway Teaw & spring rolls. They also do fast home delivery.
I have been to this place a couple of times, honestly I have never been disappointed with their food or service. It is a decent joint, with a decent menu, especially if you want to try some Malaysian cuisine. This time I tried their duck roast which was pretty amazing, will definitely visit again and recommend others.
Always a good place to come for teh Tarik and Malaysian food! Had mee mamak it was delicious. And fish, sweet and sour chicken, mix vege. The fried buns are good sides.
Absolutely love this place ! It’s an absolute gem ! The food is just like Asian street food that you’d find in the streets of Singapore ! The fried golden butter prawns are a must have !
Went here for lunch and ordered the Hokkien Kway-teow (flat rice noodles with chicken, squid and shrimp) and Beef in belachan sauce with steamed rice on the side. I've had Malaysian-Chinese cuisine a couple of times before this, and honestly they hit a home run with the flavors here! It was our first time here and it was such a great experience!
Absolute Gem in Satwa!!! If you love Chinese and malaysien food this is your spot!!! Dim sums are a must. Roti canai and stir fry seafood in oyster sauce is some of my favorites. But there is plenty more to choose on the menu. Service is good depending on who you fall on. One girl is terrible and spoils it for all the others who do a pleasant job.
My favourites are their Hainan Chicken Rice, Beef Hor Fun, Mee Goreng and Dry Wantan Mee.
The portion of some dishes are quite big here.
All in all, worth a visit... and many more !
Don't know where to start. All the food we ordered was REALLY GOOD! The Hainan Chicken Rice is just like the ones I use to have in KL, but even better because the roast chicken has a crunchy skin. The golden butter prawn was so good and juicy, makes me remember the good times in KL.
I've been looking high and low for salted egg chicken in Dubai because I've been craving for it for so long and finally found it here, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was really really good.
We also had the prawn dumpling (not pictured) but finished it before taking picture.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this to everyone who likes Malaysian/Chinese food. So so sooooo good. Literally went home with a smile on my face, I was satisfied and super happy.
Not that often eating here but then when we do, we always order:
- fried flat noodle ( kwe tiao ) either beef or chicken
- fried dough bun (cakwe)
- nasi goreng kampung
- chicken feet in xo sauce (yummmy!)
The shrimp paste chili is the best accompany for cakwe.
Their rice porridge is ok but not my taste for being indonesian.
The staffs can be more friendly when serving or taking order. Not just giving straight face.
Ambiance - ok. As expected. A challange is when you dont get a parking at front side or back of the building.

The best chinese resto for me! I really love their fried duck and noodles❤️❤️❤️ will definately come back again and again and will recommended to my friends!
The BEST midpriced Chinese-Cantonese resto in Dubai...
Food - 5.0/5.0
We got duck wraps, HK style fried hofan with beef, Hakao, seafood congee and chix feet with tausi... everything was spot on! The Hakao had the chewy rice wrapper and the shrimps (yes, plural) had a snap to it when you bite on it. Best to taste without dipping it to anything first then dip in soy with the in-house chili garlic sauce... oh! And we had cold soy milk for our drink... totally legit!
Ambience - 4.5/5.0
Nothing fancy tbh, but the decor and the music brings so much nostalgia for 2 fil-chi adults reminiscing abt their childhood with food...
Service - 5.0/5.0
Service was tops. They even switched us tables when they learned how much we ordered (originally seated for 2, transferred to a 4 seater table). Haha!!! Attentive, knows the menu and recommends good food...
Price - 5.0/5.0
Every spoonful and bite is worth every dirham... priced reasonably... not cheap but wouldn't break the bank either... perfect for those weekend cravings!
Some of the best laksa noodle soup I've had in town. I have been here couple times and I blindly go with the Laksa Lemak noodle bowl and am very happy with my order.
The quantity is more than enough for one, definitely good to share.
My husband ordered the Sambar chicken with a portion of rice and that too was just delicious.
The place is quaint and cozy, the pricing is reasonable and the food is exceptional (everything we've had in our last two visits so far at least)!
Definitely a place I'd keep frequenting to.
Not sure if hygiene level is up to Dubai standards but I am very sure the food taste is excellent.
Every dish is super tasty and worth for the price. I always end up ordering a lot as there are so many to taste
Had a quick bite at this place today. We tried the beef Ho Fun and Kai Lan with oyster sauce. The food was great, good portion, and taste was bang on. The lemon iced tea was super fab too! I rated 4 only because we just tried a couple dishes (we had already eaten, but when we stumbled upon this gem we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try something), so we're looking forward to going back on empty tummies.
Actually surprised at the poor reviews regarding customer service. Having lived and traveled in several Asian countries over the years, eateries in this category are NOT typically notorious for service or ambience. I have always followed the mindset that if your food was any good, you wouldn't need to bother with frivolities like that, people would still come to eat! So throw your expectations of high level service out the window, most often those places are trying to compensate for some hidden food deficiency anyhow.
This place has the best laksa I have ever had outside Malaysia. Honestly delicious and traditional taste with good price and large portions. I have Enjoyed every meal I have when I come here. Definitely recommended to come and try. Not a fancy restaurant but a truly authentic and delicious Asian restaurant that you must try.
DELIVERY = food is good, ordered at 1200h, arrive at 1315h. Only issue is that they only accept cash for delivery. Will be good if they can upgrade themselves to accept credit cards for deliveries. Strange that they do not even offer online ordering.
This is one of my fave restaurants! Mee goreng.. doughsticks.. chicken and duck rice.. mudslide shake are my usual order.. it is highly recommended.. everything so delicious!!! Plus their staffs are friendly.
It's great to try this restaurant the food is not excellent but not average it's good. As a person who grew up eating chinese food it's pretty good and I will surely comeback to taste the other dishes. Laksa is pretty awsome if you're a fan of coconut you should try that one.
chinese food for a change. 🤗 and yas😍 no regret. It was my first time here but it was really good. The food, ambiance and services.👏👏👏for sure i will bring some of my friends here soon. 😉
Incredible and authentic. Best dim sum I've had in Dubai! My only mark down was the Hokkein kway teow, I personally wished it was more like Penang Char kway Teow, but that's just me. I'll definitely be back!
Come for the foods. You wont be disappointed. Quite hard to find parking in some days tho. Menu choices are extensive and you'll find yourself confused in the beginning but don't worry, every item is delicious!!
Great selection of south east Asian cuisine. We had a mix of dimsums chicken, prawn vegetables etc ,all were very well prepared. The crispy Cantonese chicken on noodles was a bit stale and lacked flavor. The chkn congee was comfort food at it's best.
Will visit again to try some classics that they offer.
You want good really delicious Asian cuisine then this the place to go! We eat here regularly and also do take aways. Their food is just wonderful if you love noodles, stir-fries and dimsums. And prices that aren't too steep.
Enjoy! And here's to good food!

I was trying to find some authentic singaporean / malaysian restaurant here in dubai and saw this restaurant near my place so i tried the food. I ordered nasi lemak , hokkien mee, laksa and iced tea. All of it are really nice and delicious, it brings me back to my singapore days. Though i was expecting that the chicken on the nasi lemak was fried but it wasn't (because that was the original concept of nasi lemak, that the chicken should be fried) . Hope they have the option for the chicken to be fried or cooked with the sambal sauce tho. Hope they can read this so that they will consider my request.hahaha BTW their MENU is different here in the site and in the restaurant itself so i guess they should update their MENU here in the site.
We were looking for a place for lunch yesterday when we noticed this place through Zomato. My husband isn't keen on oily food so we were ordered Chicken Congee and Steamed Mix Dim Sum. Both dishes tasted great. We really enjoyed the food. The waitress was really helpful. Overall it was a lovely experience. Would love to try their other items on the menu.
Food : 4.5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambiance 4/5
Value for money : 4/5
Will I go here again : Definitely!
Dim Sum in this place is so good! It is slightly different from the original taste of traditional Chinese Dim Sum, it is some sort of southeast Asian flavor. And the price is reasonable. A nice try here!
One of the authentic malaysian restaurant in town. Try their sambal prawns, very delicious and spicy. They have lots of variety of Din sum (try steamed shanghai xio and chicken and prawn dimsum) and they all are good. A must go place if you love asian food

Review: A place with decent Chinese food. My husband has opened my eyes to authentic Cantonese food, and when we went here, there were definitely a couple of authentic dishes. Great portion sizes and excellent taste.
Rating: 4/5
Order: Laksa - 36DHS, Hong Kong Ho Fun - 35DHS, Steamed prawn Cheung fun.
Pricing: Great prices for the portion sizes here and the quality of food.
Service: Friendly staff, prompt at getting orders and food came at an appropriate amount of time.
Ambiance: Good and small dining area with a basic setup, clean and there is an option to sit outside.
I come here regularly with my family. This place is great for people who love Malaysian food. I generally order Mee Mamak, Mee Goreng, Chicken Fried Rice and Hainanese Chicken Rice. Also, the service is great and the staff are friendly.
Noodle Bowl is a small Asian restaurant in Satwa with very basic furniture and minimal decor - it is so ordinary in the exterior that it is almost easy to miss it completely. But we keep going back there for the extraordinary food - the right spices, authentic flavours and fairly large servings. The dim sums are yummy and available in a huge variety. The Fried turnip cake, chicken & prawn coriander dumplings and the wontons in spicy soya sauce are must haves. For the main course I recommend Prawn Sambol, Beef Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce and Kailan with Dried Fish. The Beef Noodles with Satay Sauce is as delightful as the Fried Rice with Kangkong and Dried Fish. Cost for a couple approx AED 150.
If authentic malaysian food is in your mind..then noodle bowl is the stop.. nasi lemak was amd is my fav of all time. Even the service was excellent and the restaurant is small and cozy. All in all loved the food experience and its very reasonable price
If you're hankering for some nice Malaysian or Chinese food that is affordable, head on over to Noodle Bowl. Don't bother about the ambience, service, location, etc.. (You are in Satwa, guys.)
The reason to be there is for the food. However, I do find that I always have a good time there and service has always been nice and prompt.
Their menu is extensive so I have not tried everything. I can say that the hot and sour soup is nice. The dim sum is good. I like the chili shrimp paste that comes on the side. Portions are good. I was super stuffed.
Would I go again? Yes! Especially since the weather is much cooler now in the evenings, I don't mind parking my car a bit further down the road and walking over to the Dune Centre. Plus there is so much on the menu that I have yet to try.
Update: I know I just went to Noodle Bowl four nights ago, but someone was craving for Malaysian chicken rice (nasi ayam), so off we went to Satwa. I'm not a fan of nasi ayam, but this was a winner! It was soooo good! I ordered the beef hor fun with egg gravy which was good, but that nasi ayam just won me over. My advice: if it's your first time at Noodle Bowl or you don't know what to order, order the nasi ayam!
One of the best authentic Chinese cuisine in dubai Areeba Adil must try for any food fanatic not much sitting capacity but the food is really good
The duck meat is getting worse compare last time, overall the food is nice beside the duck. Mooncake festival and they are selling mini mooncake at 10aed for lotus paste with salted egg yolks.
Just love the nasi goreng kampung !! If you want Malaysian food ! Look no further just drop in and experience it for yourself the authentic food ! You can't beat this !
I thank Ukay for suggesting this restaurant. As far as I know Noodle Bowl serves the best Malaysian food in UAE.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious and yummy. Sea food dishes were fresh and clean. Duck breast was cooled to perfection retaining all the juices within. The overall experience in this restaurant was awesome...
While the decor and location do not make it the most inviting restaurant on the street, the joint is worth a stop. The food is amazing, not the best choice for a vegetarian though (as choice is limited). The dim-sum selection is good, and tasty too, and they have a wide choice of noodles & rice dishes. Pricing is quite reasonable, and the decor is acceptable, I guess it lends a certain charm to the place.
Overall, a well recommended place for some good east Asian fare.
Very good food. We wanted to try something in the area and were surprised to see this superb place serving close to authentic hongkong food. There is a selection of Malaysia Street food too. Must try if you are looking for a non pretentious good place.
Definitely our favourite restaurant and we go every week. The Malaysian and Singaporean favourites and great - and really authentic!! Try the prawn mee, nasi lemak, dimsum, laksa and more. Most of the customers are Malaysian, Singaporean or Asian generally - plus a few lucky others who know a good thing when they see it!! Hugely recommended!
A gud restaurant..i feel its close to authentic chinese..ambience is nice..service was also quick..less spicy..a week day place..shud try the noodle soup..
Food: Really really really great. Great portion and great flavor. Their Nasi Lemak is on point. Tip: order Sambal Chicken!!!
Place/Ambience: Very family-dinner type.
Easy to spot as its beside the highway. Front Parking is not that quite so you might wanna go at the back of the place to scout some area.
Service: Attentive and fast but could work on rapport a little bit more.
Price: Holy crap, super worth it.
Good Malaysian/Singapore food. Lots of variety. Char kway teow my favourite. Nasi lemak is not bad but chili lacks kick though. Price reasonable and portion is good. Would come here more often if not for the parking and frequent jams on 2nd December street.
Pretty good Malaysian food, been coming here for years and thankfully quality has remained fairly consistent. Their nasi goreng kampung with chilis and anchovies is always a favourite of my husbands (that or the crispy beef rice or the regular nasi goreng). I usually get the excellent char kway teow noodles but today tried the bbq duck congee (which is a more watery version of the Malaysian bubur but the duck was good). The beef noodle soup is also a favourite and their dumplings are always good. Would go back and try more things from the Malaysian menu like the mee goreng or nasi hainan. Overall an authentic and not too pricy Malaysian experience.

This is a hidden gem and I sometimes wonder why I do not visit it more often. Really good asian food at a very nice price point. The soups are fab but I like the Mee Goreng the most !!
Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM
We visit this restaurant all the time and only ever order the duck pancakes which are insanely good, the Nasi goreng, the prawn and chicken Sui Mai, and the prawn Har gow. Every time we've gone back that's all we've ever ordered and each time it's been brilliant.
Been to this place a number of times as they serve authentic malay, chinese n indonesian food. Prices wise its expensive considering the location n ambiance. Food portions earlier were generous however in our last visit the quantity served was not enough for one person. Not sure if we would go again but would recommend as food quality n taste is good.
I yesterday dropped in Noodle Bowl in Dune Centre..
Asked for a bowl of Yunnan noodles..
The soup was OK - nothing wrong with the soup, it's really good..
But again I found AED 36 for a soup portion in Satwa (not at the top of Burj Khalifa..) is somehow a bit overprice.. :(
Must tries: Fish head curry, egg fu yong, Hainanese Chicken Rice (hmm... this one, okay only), Prawn Noodle Soup, Turnip (or to singaporean's - carrot) cake ⋅⋅⋅ this is a savory dish and not dessert, century egg porridge - posting a pic for ypur reference, it's black, a bit sulphuric but it's not really 100 years old LOL, Wanton Noodles, Hor Fun, Chendol. And ... authentic sambal belachan. :)
They say it's only when you're far from home that you realise how lucky you've been. It's so true. Singaporeans and Malaysians gravitate to Noodle Bowl for a hint of home with much satisfaction.
Authenticity to flavour: 95%
Price: 4 dishes at about 120aed
Service: Friendly and attentive.
Parking: Difficult to find.
tip: they deliver now! yay!
Running some errands in the area, I decided to pay a visit to Noodle Bowl which has been on my Zomato bookmark list for a long time, as I found out they serve one my favorite dishes, cheung feng.
The restaurant itself has extremely low ceilings which made me feel a little claustrophobic at times but the food eventually took my focus away from the roof. The staff here are alert without being over attentive.
We ordered: prawn crackers, vegetable spring rolls, prawn chueng feng, xiao long bao, chicken and prawn siu mai, chicken congee and mi goreng.
The xiao long bao weren't as good as Din Tai Fung. The dumpling wrapper on the outside was a little hard, however the inside filling was tasty.
The cheung feng was not as good as I've had in Sydney but somewhat satisified my cravings, again it was the noodle itself, letting this dish down.
The highlight for me was the chicken & prawn siu mai. So much flavor inside this juicy dumpling it satisified by dumpling cravings and will definitely be ordering these again next time I visit.
