Rowaida ALHARBI

Dined in with a friend for some catching up. Food was great, place is good but we feel rushed. On the first 30 minutes, the waiter already made us feel uncomfortable by subtlety giving a message that we need to finish our food quickly because they need more tables. Not a great place to enjoy a good food. I think they want to get more customers rather than give an experience.

Went for lunch, had an amazing time there. The services was like no other, and food to match.
Neelesh ( Shaukeen )
This was my first visit to Gaia and I enjoyed it . The service was amazing and we were seated politely . Grilled Prawns and meat balls were amazing and then the selection of fresh fish grilled to perfection followed by Greek doughnuts and coffee . Will recommend it to my friends

Dubai has plenty of restaurants that get social distancing right. Gaia, sadly, is not one of them. The table set up is not socially distant at all with a maximum of 1m distance between each table, seating capacity is not limited, some kitchen staff and hostesses don’t wear masks at all times (wearing mask below your nose is not the proper way to wear it, just saying!), there are printed menus lingering around and hand sanitisers are nowhere to be seen. <br/><br/>It is funny, because I have specifically asked for some of these stuff when booking our table and the employee on the other end of the line has confirmed they do adhere the rules.<br/><br/>Although the food was good, I’m not seeing myself returning to a business that does not value the wellbeing of the community.

So this was my second time at Gaia (but first time since the lockdown). I have dined at other restaurants since the lockdown and have got to say many restaurants have upped their game when it comes to service, sad to say that Gaia certainly have more work to do.<br/>Here’s the drill -<br/>I made my reservation almost a month ago as my husband and I were celebrating a special milestone, when we arrived I was asked to sit at a table next to the door and was told I would be moved 15-20 mins later, despite there being plenty of tables unoccupied.<br/>Why you would sit guests at a fine dining restaurant, ask them to order from the menu and then move them midway is beyond me. <br/>I asked for hand sanitizer and was responded with “would you like still or sparkling water”, I was baffled that what I was asking for was totally ignored.<br/>Now we move to our main table and place our order for food. <br/>We ordered the taramasalata, taziki, octopus, truffle potatoes, prawns and Greek salad.... oh wait, we did order the salad but it never came and we had to cancel it before we asked for the dessert menu. <br/>The bread with the taziki was stale. <br/>The wine I ordered at 55aed a glass, has given me a headache all morning.....<br/>Despite this being a special celebration, it certainly wasn’t the experience we were going for. <br/>Safe to say I won’t be rushing back here.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon spent in a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere with superb service and delicious vegetarian options while my husband and friend enjoyed a scrumptious lobster pasta...
Epic Nomad
Another standout restaurant with Greek seafood being it's strong point. Gaia is Chef Izu's creation and is one of DIFC's finest establishments. The classy interiors with soft colors and fancy ambience do enough to complement the dining experience. <br/><br/>For starters, the cocktail menu is quite decent. The seafood is divine especially the Grilled Octopus and Prawn Saganaki. We had a Sea Bream that was cooked to perfection and although overpriced, it impressed by its quality. The Coconut cake dessert is just delectable and a must have!!<br/><br/>The price point is higher due to the location and hence it would be preferable to visit if the occasion demands something special for sure!! But otherwise, a fine establishment in the Dubai food scene!!

One of the best fine dining experiences in dubai. Love the food, the ambience, and the service. The place is worth the price. I will definitely go back again.
The Traveller Fork
Super well deserved 5, from the moment you step in until you depart. The service is excellent, professional and very efficient, no rooms for mistake. As far as the food is concerned, it was so delicious a cross everything we ordered including the fresh sole fish recommendation from the chef. Definitely a must try and well done to the team and management.

The prawn appetizer was very tasty. The braised goat was good. And the homemade frozen yogurt was our favorite. A little bit over priced though.
Foodieonline123
We ordered the Prawn Saganaki, <br/>Raw Tuna with Truffle, <br/>Spinach Pie<br/> and chocolate Mousse Dessert. The food was delicious but the service was very bad. The waiter constantly surrounded us and it was a very uncomfortable vibe. Even when we asked for recommendations the waiter spoke about one dish for at least 2 mins which was just unnecessary. Apart from that, the food was good.

Our friends invited us to dine with them this weekend in Gaia. Sophisticated and nice environment. The food was nice and so was the service but nothing soo special comparing to my expectations visiting the best Greek restaurant in Dubai. Quite over priced and overhyped restaurant. The ambience was a bit less viby from what we expected. We didn't try their private bar as we had a booking somewhere else for drinks.<br/><br/>Mixed feelings when I am writing this review but overall positive impression.

Came to celebrate my 29th birthday with my friends at Gaia. The service was great and the food was amazing. Everything on the menu is delicious. The cheese pie is a must try. Sadly the zucchini tempura was not available, but will defiantly come back for it.

OMG I’m here right now and you wont believe the attitude we just got from a waiter called Amir !!!!!! We asked them to change the table cloth and they covered the dirt with bits of apron so we told please change the table cloth as we are here to take photos for a birthday and it doesn’t look well !! So The waiter Amir turns up and said we don’t usually do this and my friend told him that in Cipriani they bring o rolled cloth and cover the table and its a nice technique.... so guess what Mr . Amirs answer was !!!! Amir : well we are not Cipriani we are Gaia and if wanted to be Cipriani then we would of opened as Cipriani !!!! <br/><br/><br/>I cant believe how rude he is I have never had this attitude from any waiter my whole life !! <br/><br/>We had to ask him to leave and we don’t want to continue the conversation! <br/><br/>We are just waiting for the bill and never back here again !!! <br/><br/>

Greek food is the flavour of the town and Gaia is a good addition in the upmarket DIFC area. The food, drink and deserts are all very good. The watermelon salad had become a compulsory favourite
Mariana Mushahdi
One of the best restaurants in Dubai according to me and majority of my friends.
What Lamloum Eats
Overrated! I’ve heard a lot about it, but not the best Greek restaurant in town. The food was very average. The Mille feuille was a total disaster, and was shocked when the waiter told us it is their best seller. The waiter was like “ok only this for your order,” and one can notice his rudeness around.

Went for date night here with the Missus and I must say its a great place for one of those. The things you have to try are the Baked Feta, Sea Bream Carpaccio. If you are a wine drinker then please do pair it with a Pinot Grigio as it will go quite well. They have a great selection of wine as well. <br/><br/>However, they do not give you much time to actually sit down and enjoy the meal. I understand the concept of two hours but 20 minuets after we sat down we were constantly asked if we need anything else, every 20 minutes. I would have liked to actually have a uninterrupted conversation with my wife.<br/><br/>I think the staff need to give its customers some space. Apart from that, great job.
Fatma Ahli
The restaurant is not worth the hype ... some of the waiters need to get trained on customer service and not to speak badly about the customers ... the food was good but not as great as expected
Sara.almuhassen
I loved the starters however the main course (lobster linguine ) wasnt that nice and in my opinion tasted like it had Indian spices which I didn’t love. When the waiter asked and we told him we didnt love he didnt seem to take it well and we as customers got a negative vibe which made us uncomfortable. Overall it was an okay experience but i dont think ill recommend it to anyone.

You know, at this level of price point..I really am inclined to get my food critic hat on and be ultra-pedantic about every single detail. For me, I think the location isn’t great for parking, and you’ve got to know your way around DIFC otherwise you’re probably going to turn up with an attitude like “this better be $€%@ing worth it”. So now that that’s out of the way. This place blew my mind. I like fish in the same way I like dentists. You know - they are important people to see, I get it..but I’m not going to be yearning to visit one even if it’s been a while. Fish for me - same thing. It just doesn’t satisfy like beef or plump chicken. But this did. God Damn! Ok Tuna Tataki was insane. Then they had the ceviche which was white fish, that they just sliced and rolled within the fish that they offer you with sea salt and a selection of oils to go with it. Mind blowing. Those for me - were the best things I have ever tried. weirdly I tried the goat. And I’ve never liked goat. But this was some delicious goat. Literally the Greatest Of All Time. And the frozen yogurt dessert was more or less ..ok let’s not go there..take it from me it was good.. kind of like Beyoncé if she was a dessert. Clement our waiter knew what he was up to, no doubt trained in France at one of those “Waiter universities”! Bear in mind I think I was fortunate to have gone with someone that knew his way around the menu. You know how sometimes you can walk out spending like 2k and feeling a bit like “meh”..I didn’t I was like..Yes. Congratulate yourself on this experience. I have not been this satisfied with a meal since McDonald’s opened their first branch in the Al Ghurair Center. Also, this is the first city that the restaurant has opened in. Dubai is doing things. Thumbs up. This is a looooong review..just in case you are wondering - no, I’m not fat. Gaia - if you are reading this I expect a free meal for 2. Just kidding. No, not kidding at all. Holler. Ok bye

If you know about Chef Izu, then you’ll know what to expect in this restaurant — which is great food and nice ambience. I can’t remember what was ordered as someone else did all the ordering. We were there only to enjoy the food and company. The salad, fish and lobster pasta were all great, as expected. The menu is somewhat similar to his other places, Carine and Izu Brasserie as well as where he used to be a chef — La Petite Maison, La Serre, Lighthouse.

Overrated, the food was not great especially for the prices they charge. So many waiters constantly surrounding our table the entire time so 0 privacy. They were also slow and sloppy.

Terrible, terrible experience that i have not faced in my 62 years of life and of visiting restaurants as a connoisseur of fine dining... We walked in without reservations at around 8pm on Friday 7th of June 2019, and were told tables were available, then welcomed to dinner... all went fine and we were have a quiet evening when the 'alleged' manager ( later discovered he was not the man incharge !!! ) came over to inform us we were not welcome and required to leave immediately... on my politely inquiring as to the reason I was told our booking was limited to 90 minutes. This was shocking as this was news to us, but more so when the manager refused to accept that we were never told our stay would be limited and neither was he willing to confer with the front desk ?, inevitably the commercial interest of turning the table twice for the evening seemed to have been the overriding factor in his rude and demeaning attitude... Painfully, so we were between courses and had not even consumed our bottle of 'Savion blanc'.... only after a rowdy exchange did they allow us to stay to complete our meal but would not even let us order dessert. <br/><br/>It is with deep disappointment, pain and anger that I write these words, an experiencing of demeaning attitude...  unexpected of such an allegedly elite establishment.<br/><br/>If ever you visit Gaia without reservations and are naively welcomed in, my humble advice is <br/>"Make sure there is no un-declared time limit to your meal, immaterial to the fact that you may have been patronizing this restaurant to the tune of circa $300 per head ! ( excluding tips ! )<br/><br/>Needless say, we will be suing this establishment for abusing our civil rights and for immoral behavior towards a paying guest during the official ' Year of Tolerance ' in the town that is my home.... Dubai.

A truly memorable experience for all food lovers that appreciate greek cuisine. Run by the best chef in the game, almost every dish is mouth watering. Staff is friendly and the service is top. A must visit !!
Tony Nassar
One of the best greek places in dubai, the sea food is fresh and delicious, service is 5 stars ⭐️ wonderful atmosphere... visiting Gaia is a must

It is a proper fine dining place so expect a heavy check. The place is always busy and people really dress up to come here. The food is good but could be better when it comes to taste.<br/>For some reason the staff had opened the doors to the outdoor permanently open which made the restaurant really warm, so warm that we had to leave immediately after main course and couldn't wait for the dessert, inspite of the fact it was a birthday.<br/>I would recommend this place for a fancy night out but personally would prefer other similar options which are much better.
Eman Shoab
A greek restaurant in DIFC serving authentic food. The vibe is great and the food is quite good too. The baked feta cheese and fried calamari was really good.
Jolita Sabonyte
Greek dining in DIFC. Very pleasant and charming venue with delicious dishes using fresh and high quality ingredients. Attentive and helpful staff. I would like to come back and try other dishes. I recommend this place to visit.

I was at Gaia a few days ago for lunch, it was my fourth time. They have good food and a lot of variety. But i had a very DISAPPOINTING and EMBARRASSING. <br/><br/>Everyone is very friendly and at your service, but very SLOW.<br/><br/>Last time i was there I had pre-ordered dessert with a birthday message, i confirmed and repeated over three times by phone. <br/><br/>I confirmed twice the day i made the reservation and reconfirmed for a third time on the day of my reservation. <br/><br/>AND guess what!!?!!!? They FORGOT! Completely forgot! We ordered the dessert and thy forgot the birthday message the candle everything! It was extremely EMBARRASSING and AWKWARD!<br/><br/>I reminded them and their response was “wait let me check” , and then from afar they indicate “its coming”. Whats coming? The dessert is right here! No message! What is coming? you have embarrassed us enough, the birthday girl is right their, expecting to blow a candle a birthday song but nothing! all they had to say was ”wait its coming!!!!!!”<br/> <br/>They did not apologize or anything and this was the manager herself serving us! NO APOLOGY or acknowledgement of MISTAKE! NOTHING!<br/><br/>I even called to complain, i was told they will call me back, no one even called back. <br/><br/>Such a DISAPPOINTING AND EMBARRASSING experience.

Favorite restaurant in town!!! The food is woooow, especially all the seafood (raw) and dessert options. Even a simple Greek salad tastes very unique. Ambience/restaurant is beautifully decorated. Only downside is the 2 hour seating rule, however, this is the same everywhere in Dubai. I would 100% recommend this to anyone in Dubai! A must try
Hina Shahzad
Gaia has to be one of my favourite new restaurants in Dubai right now! <br/>Every item we ordered from starters, main to drinks and dessert were all divine! <br/><br/>The watermelon salad and lamb chops were the best I’ve had. Lovely bursting flavours!
Food&Wine-ster
Gaia is a proof of true, real, culinary food that's fulfilling to the heart and soul and not just an artsy dish to Instagram and impress! Moussaka, Mussels, Calamari, salads... The only thing that was missing was the sea breeze of the Aegean sea! But you almost took me there! Efcharisto!!

A fine dinning experience in the Greek cuisine world. Here is where everyone wants to join for good food and party time. The interior of this restaurant was made with a lot of fine notes like the white cloths on tables and beautiful designer chairs all combined with interesting Greek details. Inside of the restaurant on the ground floor you will find a small club where you can have some drinks after your dinner. The restaurant has a menu with Greek dishes and a seafood bar from where you can choose your meal and the way you want to be cooked. I choose a beautiful white fish that was made in a almond and capers sauce. The baked cheese dish is delicious and big :) You really have to try this restaurant when in Dubai.

After a lot or recent news of Gaia, decided to book for our anniversary.<br/><br/>The Restaurant itself is decorated very stylishly and influence of the Mediterranean / Greek. The music was very fitting the venue, and not so loud so that we could not enjoy conversation. <br/><br/>We were greeted by our waiter, who also made recommendations and explained the menu. <br/><br/>We went with his recommendations for the starters, which where very nice. The Scollop carpaccio was sublime, very fresh with the wonderful citrus flavor of lemon. <br/><br/>For main we had the chicken and lamb. Unfortunately the lamb ordered medium came rare, and when sent back came back well done. <br/>The chicken was very well cooked and with a wonderful jus sitting on slices of seeded bread, all worked. <br/><br/>The restaurant manager did come to see us and apologize and offered a replacement main. Which we did not take, but to his credit, took off the bill the deserts and also included an extra which we did not order. This is the type of service and friendly manager expected from such a wonder restaurant. <br/><br/>I would happily return to this restaurant. It is also very suitable to a group with large table and outside area also.

I've visited Gaia recently with my friend for a casual dinner. The ambiance speaks for itself, the place was super busy, even though it was a weekday. The food is exquisite (seabass ceviche is really out of this world, cheese&truffle pie, and truffle pasta are still coming to me in my dreams), the service is a high class, the interior is perfect.<br/>This place is new so I hope they are going to keep the quality on the level. Can't wait to come back!
Ola Madkour
Amazing food. Absolutely delicious. All appetizers and main dishes were really great. We did not try desserts<br/>Waiting time however was about an hour although we have a reservation and arrived on time.
Elisabeth Helman Kabbani
It’s a very nice casual greek restaurant. My favorites are:<br/>Appetizers:<br/>Chicken Souvlaki <br/>Truffle Potatoes <br/>And for main curse:<br/>Lobster pasta<br/>
Ishani
A seemingly highly popular restaurant in Dubai right now; make a reservation in good time! Great ambiance, nicely arranged/designed premises (in the DIFC area); a happy yuppy crowd, lots of staff - all helpful and professional - and... great Greek-Mediterranean dishes! We had red mullet carpaccio (beautifully presented and with three differently flavoured olive-oil sauces to choose from..) as well as grilled octopus, fried calamari and Greek salad to start with. Then, a perfectly grilled sea-bream. Lastly, as desert, the Greek mille-feuille.. Great wines (and ouzo) too! Definitely a restaurant to remember!
Karim Zine
Third time, third disappointment. Food is OK but for the price they charge, the service is very disappointing. Booked a table at 7.30pm. Arrived at 7.50pm. The email said the booking was from 7.30 to 10pm. At 9.45pm we order a second round of dessert and we are asked to leave because we need to give up the table. We call the manager but he wouldn't budge. Last time in this restaurant.
Ali Bin Zayed
A perfect place for a couples dinner , ambience is well layed out and thought of, knowledgeable staff, great taste of the food there don’t miss out !
Himanshi Wadhwa
Gaia has to be the best new restaurant in Dubai in the DIFC/Downtown area. The food looks and tastes divine and the desserts are even better! Attentive, friendly service and a cheerful vibe. Definitely one of my new favourites!
Bianca.tatia
This place is recently open and I was curious to see how it is. Huge disappointment!!! Overpriced for sure and the food was delayed. Apparently is a dress code, but I have seen many people dressed up “too casual”.
Tastebuddy
Highly recommended for sea food and Greek cuisine lovers. Great food, nice ambience, friendly and courteous staff made our business lunch a good one. Thoroughly enjoyed the calamari, raw Salmon, Greek salad and grilled octopus. Baby goat in main cuisine was good too.<br/>Coconut cake and rice pudding in desserts comes recommended.<br/><br/>Place is always full so it is highly advised to book table well in advance for a great experience.<br/>4stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Silvia
Nice Greek restaurant in DIFC. The ambiance is very cozy and elegant. The white is the color and it has a nice patio. The menu has cold and hot appetizers and different kind of mains. Interesting is the fish window where you can choose directly the fish. The appetizer were super and the service perfect!
RakanAbdulla ANL
GAIA is a new restaurant in dubai which is run by the famous chef Izu. The ambience is just perfect and the design is great. The waiter tried to help us pick our dishes, and he helped us in every way possible. The only thing that stopped me from giving them a 5 star rating was that the food wasnt up to the standard of the place. The salad with watermelon and feta cheese had too much olive oil you could feel it burn your throat.
Xerxes The Ravenous
Super Chefs Izu Ani and Orestis come together again with the Bulldozer Group to give us Gaia, an elegantly designed, contemporary Greek-Mediterranean restaurant in DIFC. Located opposite Cipriani, the restaurant has already become hugely popular with Joe Public and A-Listers alike. Even H.E. Sheikh Mohammad recently paid a visit, sadly not on the either of the two occasions I’ve been there.
Jola Chudy
Simple ingredients crafted by a highly skilled team in such a way that they become the very paragon of what that item can be. This is Chef Izu's skill - he'll take a tomato and literally turn it into the best tomato you've ever had. The focus here is on fresh, fresh seafood cooked to order, with an assortment of salads. It's light Mediterranean dining that takes a cue from Greece, although to be honest it feels too sophisticated to really emulate anything Greek that I've tried before. The decor at Gaia is really stunning too, and the chef's table and secret disco room downstairs make this an ideal choice for an occasion dinner, or smart business lunch.
Waheed
My first time here and I was amazed by the service, the quality of food and the atmosphere! Nothing below expectations and I left the place extremely satisfied, finally Gaia gained a new loyal customer 😉
AliW
Got an opportunity to have lunch at Gaia, DIFC. In simple words, it’s very unique Mediterranean restaurant where the dishes are interesting, which you don’t necessarily find in other restaurants serving Greek fares.<br/><br/>We had a cheese pie and a salad as appetizers. Cheese pie was too good. For the main course, there was fish, lamb chops and chicken.<br/><br/>The desserts were very light and enjoyable. <br/><br/>Just a word of caution, that a business lunch can be quite long at this place, so keep enough time for your experience.
Pescetarian
Great food<br/>Really good seafood and service<br/>Too bad it’s always very busy and it’s difficult to find a table<br/>If you’re a fan of raw food try the fish it’s good<br/>The fried squid is also a winner<br/>The only thing that wasn’t a wow is the dessert<br/>They need to improve the dessert selection
Nadir
They are very good at seafood. The flavours are fabulous. Well appointed interiors and seating arrangements. I am not too sure about the pricing though.
Hamdan Ahmed
Gaia is CONFIDENT. Food was better than expected. Props to experts Chef Izu Ani and Chef Orestis Kotefas for the amazing selection. It is more than just Mediterranean cuisine.<br/><br/>Food: 5/5 (great choices from the waiters, I recommend the cheese pie, calamari, seabass grilled and grilled lobster. The truffle potatoes were so good.<br/><br/>Location: 5/5 It’s DIFC, need I say more? NOW SHUSH AND GO EAT!
Eat The World
Amazing interiors, perfect lighting, and great service. Only few fine dining concepts have mastered a Mediterranean cuisine and Gaia is definitely one of them. Went on a Monday night and the place was crowded, the service was just great, had the water melon and feta salad, baked feta, Mousaka and Chicken Souvlaki and everything was up to the standard, would definitely be going again. The cherry on top was the prices as they are not as expensive as other fine dining restaurants in DIFC
Al Ahadpour
Great new place in the heart of difc. <br/>The decor in the restaurant is great ! It is light, not dim. You can actually in front of you not needing a flash light. <br/>Got to try a lot of great dishes here. <br/>The best was the marakel fish with the mandarin oil, it’s a must. <br/>The grilled octopus was good. The sea bass ceviche is good too ! <br/>The tuna with truffle is good too. <br/>Everything I tried was amazing. <br/>A must try !!!
Ayoub Ibrahim
Bad expirience <br/>We went to try this new place , the hostesses dont know whats going on in the restaurant they escort us to the dirty table they told us you can join the bar even their is no place to stand , no one provide the menu !!! Service soo bad ,<br/>
FS
Great food and ambiance + amazing service... can't go wrong with that combination. Has a nice bar area as well. Restaurant was full but not noisy.  A lovely dining experience and highly recommended.<br/><br/>Edit: Went back after an amazing first experience (which prompted the 5 star review above). The food quality and service are significantly worse. This decline after a few months of operation is typical of many restaurants in the city but I was really hoping Gaia would not follow suit. Management has not been trained to respond adequately to mistakes by their staff. We really enjoyed our dinner a few months ago but won't be back for dinner after this experience.
Ricaga747
It didn’t look and taste like a real Greek food and something that made me feel uncomfortable was the waiters were all the time around the table and watching us with no privacy at all
Serdar Harunzade
Gaia is our new favorite in town. <br/>Great location, ambiance, service ... Its very bright inside and a very alive atmosphere giving the “feel good” vibe. <br/>Food was excellent. We started with Tuna with black truffles, Seabass Ceviche, and Amberjack Carpaccio. Carried on with Baked Feta, Grilled Calamari and Grilled Octopus. And then had a very delicious Lobster Pasta. <br/>Overall really enjoyed our time at Gaia and again ots our new favorite in town.

Restaurant Gaya (Greek) 🇬🇷<br/>Mediterranean dishes<br/>The place is beautiful and elegant, the seafood is fresh on the Greek way, the service is great and the food is very delicious<br/>The chef touches @chefizu<br/>A pleasant and beautiful experience worth repeating 👌🏼<br/>

Fellow Foodies,<br/>I am pleased to say that there is a new contender for the title of ‘Best Restaurant in Dubai’. Chef Izu Ani is a beloved and essential piece of the Dubai food industry with him opening many French/Mediterranean restaurants such as La Petite Maison and La Serre. He owns The Lighthouse, IZU. Brasserie and Bakery and Carine (check out my review). Gaia is different to all of these but even better. It is a Greek concept with decor and food to match Izu’s reputation. <br/><br/>The service was exquisite providing quick, attentionate and passionate service! Gulin, Aymeric and Anastasia were taking care of us and it was nothing short of PHENOMENAL!<br/><br/>But now, onto the main part, the FOOD:<br/><br/>Smoked Tuna Carpaccio: 5/5. This was outstanding. The smokiness complements the truffle dressing perfectly. <br/><br/>Sea Bream Carpaccio: 5/5 (10000000/5). The Sea Bream just melts in your mouth! The three dressings accompanying it were out of this world! This was probably my favorite dish.<br/><br/>Shrimps Saganaki: 5/5. The SAUCE! The SAUCE! THE SAUCE! We tried desperately to figure out what was in it but to no avail! 🤷🏻‍♂️ The shrimps were cooked perfectly too.<br/><br/>Moussaka: The Moussaka reminded me of an eggplant parmigiana. It was sweet and tangy. I adored it.<br/><br/>Half Chicken: 5/5. It was juicy and tender. The herb sauce was delicious as well.<br/><br/>Grilled Sea Bass: 5/5. The fish was impeccably cooked and incredibly fresh. The sauces that accompany it had a base of « Théo » olive oil made in chef Izu’s farm in Greece which is amazing!<br/><br/>Lobster Spaghetti: OMG! This was my main dish and boy, am I happy I ordered it. The spaghetti was exquisite, the lobster melts in your mouth like butter and the lobster bisque was astounding!<br/><br/>Sorbets: 5/5. We had ordered an assortiment of sorbets. It was presented in exquisite fashion. These sorbets jusy blew us away. We had Strawberry, Chocolate and Passion Fruit sorbets.<br/><br/>This concludes my review of GAIA. I have never been so impressed by a restaurant. I’m thinking of going back <br/>for my birthday dinner, it’s THAT AMAZING. Thank you so much to Gulin and the rest of the team for the amazing food and service, and thank you Izu for blessing us once again with what is arguably the best restaurant in Dubai!<br/><br/>-Luca, The 13 Year Old Reviewer.<br/><br/>PS: You are probably telling yourself I do not give any negative feedback but it’s just nothing short of PHENOMENAL!<br/><br/>PPS: I DID GO for my birthday!

It was a fantastic experience overall ! The Greek salad and veggie tempura were so delicious. In fact the Greek salad was one of the best I’ve had in Dubai to date. For mains, we opted for the grilled sea cream which was again perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. Saw the crown prince of dubai dining in the restaurant which was an added bonus. Definitely going back again !

The food is sublime! I’ve been waiting for ages to have authentic Greek cuisine in Dubai and GAIA definitely hits the spot. The moussaka is the best in town! The truffle cheese pie and truffle potatoes were both amazing as was the spinach pie. We ordered the luqaimat (doughnuts) were good but the best dessert on the menu is their orange cake (WOW) and the chocolate brioche dessert was delicious.

Terrible service and no attention to customers at all. I ordered three dishes and ended up having two only because the third was almost done when I finished my meal. The sea bream carpaccio was good but the presentation was horrific especially that the whole fish was right there. It was a long process to finish it with the different dressings in small bottles on the side. The prawns were good and the sauce as well. I ordered grilled potatoes on the side and I got them with cheese on although I made it clear that I do not eat cheese.<br/>The menu is not very clear and the staff is not well informed which did not help at all
Noodles
I ordered 3 dishes, one was terrible (meatballs) and when I sent it away telling the waiter it was terrible he didn’t care to ask why. The salad was average, and I had moussaka which was good, hence the two stars. Service was poor, we told the waiter we don’t eat cheese yet he brought cheesy potatoes and was adamant that we asked for it that way after clearly telling him we don’t want cheese. He then wanted to bring it after we finished our meals. Ended up finishing our meals at the restaurant next door.
