Service and the ambiance is good. Food is fine. I love italian food but something was missing. I can't say its bad but it wasn't the perfect dinner for me.

They had live jazz music, I think it's the only place in Dubai that actually has live jazz

After the bad experience in Galvin London before, I'm still bold enough to try their branch in Dubai which is located in City Walk. It seems a shared open area with Toro+ko and Lima, both are on my try list.
The oysters are from Dibba basically can kinda named it local fresh, which are the most delightful for the dinner. Small size but fresh and sweet. Price is 88 dhs for 6 pcs.
Then the starter which I forgot what I ordered, the sea bass, the duck leg and the mushroom risotto are actually quite nice too.
As a French fine dining restaurant, i think the price is reasonable and will be visit again.

This place a must visit in city walk - the food is absolutely amazing from the foie gras to the lamb tangine which was cooked to perfection and the beef carpaccio was so well flavored. The cremebrule was nice and creamy and the apple pie tasted so home made. The staff was so polite and chef came to visit and was so friendly. And must note the wine served for ladies night was a really good one.
Good vibes, and very welcoming staff. Service was great. Their raclette was yummy :) their burger was a delice as well. What i loved most about this place was the upper floor where live Jazz bands perform after 10.
We had Christmas Day lunch at Galvin on City Walk yesterday and it was an absolute pleasure. The service was attentive, the surroundings festive and every aspect of the lunch was well conceived. We started with a shrimp maki amuse-bouche, which was small but tasty and wheted the appetite nicely. We then followed it with fois gras served with fig and apple salad which was cooked perfectly and was the best fois gras dish I have ever had (and believe me, I have had my share!) Sublime. Main course was tenderloin of beef with shortribs and truffle mash and it was excellent. My partner had the traditional turkey main course with all the trimmings which was also delicious and we ended on a sticky date pudding with vanilla custard ice cream. With a fair wine list and a well stocked bar, this place is a little gem. A meal to remember. Well done Galvin.
It’s a smart Bistrot at Dubai City Walk, without being too stuffy or ridiculously expensive. We ordered the Saturday roast dinner that was a bit of a surprise as it’s a French themed restaurant. Nevertheless it was good, although I missed the roasted parsnips in this version, although I think there was a thin parsnip crisp on top of the roast. The Yorkshire pudding was too big for my liking, but it’s just personal preference.
A great place to have authentic French cuisines. We came back from France and ate here... have to tell you the tase is authentic. Big grade ingredients, well paired dishes... the deserts out of the world...

The staff is friendly and make you easy confortable...very helpfull with the description of the dishes and preparation..
To be a french mediterranian concept the italian touch is pretty much present(this make me so happy of course) on the menu with a kind of Burrata ravioli and Burrata salad to go for the arancini with mushroom and truffle mayo...
pretty surprise the slow cooked carot...what do you aspect from carrots?? well this dishes will really surprise you positive!

Great service, we received a warm welcome here. Superb interiors and the high tea is highly recommended. Fresh juices and fresh tasting pastries which is well presented, except, sandwiches are limited. We tried the mozzarella and beet pizzas, and quinoa salad, it was so so. Oreo mint shake was very refreshing!

Before going to Galvin, I was sceptical as I thought will be another restaurant that leverage in the brand of a celebrity chef but fails to deliver. I couldn't be more wrong...
we went for the tasting menu and worths every penny, the quality of the food is great, this is a highly commended place which should be a must of any foodie in Dubai.
grabbed some drinks here after dinner, I had a margarita shot that was really elegant (and came with sea salt), and a bishop that was also very well-balanced
So I couldn’t find Smokey Garden, but some of the food comes from this venue and was absolutely amazing. My mom ordered heir famous mushroom risotto and you could smell the truffle oil from a mile away. Excellent service , will defo come back and try the fine dining experience.

I went with my sister for lunch and we had lunch menu which turned to be great.
I had for starter fried squid which was good and my sister had lentil soup that she liked.
And for the main I had delicious seafood skewer, it had fish and shrimp with side of pasta, it might look that the portion is small but I felt full after it.
My sister had their beef which had a salty sauce on side.
We didn’t continue for dessert but they got us a treat which was pistachio macaroon that I loved and my sister had truffle.
Overall, the food, service, and ambience was great. Loved everything 👌
The oysters are amazing. Fresh and satisfying. Had a wonderful tajine lamb dish a la français for main, the lamb cook so good the you can cut with a butter knife. My wife had the tenderloin also tender and tasty. The outdoor seating was great. I wish they had a decanter for my wine.
Simply delicious. A little on the expensive side but worth to try the French dishes. I tried and highly recommend; the seafood tower de luxe, starters - escargots, poached lobster, steak tartare, lasagne of Devon crab. For the mains - tagine of lamb, beef tenderloin, grilled seafood platter.

WOW! We went for dinner at Galvin last night for a little thanksgiving treat, we were blown away. As soon as we sat down, we were looked after so well. We got our drinks and ordered just a main meal and before it arrived they bought us fresh juicy olives, an arrangement of bread and olive oil and a complimentary starter of seafood/clam soup which was absolutely delicious. Then our main meals were amazing, I had the Seafood stew and there was plenty of fresh seafood and the sauce was rich. My partner had the Lamb Tagine and it was the most tender piece of Lamb we've ever had.
We were so full, so we didn't order desert but then to our amazement they bought us desert as compliments of the chef. A beautiful fresh sorbet with honeycomb and a sauce on top OMG, amazing amazing. Then, they bought us a little bowl of chocolates and macaroons. We were absolutely spoilt rotten.
I can't recommend this restaurant enough, the service was amazing, the live music was perfect and the food.. YUM!

The service was excellent. The place looks amazing.
We had coffees and a mocktail. All came quickly, well presented and tasted great. We even got complimentary chocolates.

My husband and I were invited here for dinner and this place is elegant but at the same time has such a fun, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The minute you walk in you feel happy. It’s so nice to be able to see the kitchen and the fresh seafood bar while you sit. The waiters were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu which I find important. We went by most of his recommendations and they were all on spot and excited our taste buds like never before.
What we had:
Appetizers: poached lobster and seabass tartare....wow, wow, wow!
Mains: Tagine of lamb and roast seabass....again wow!!!
Dessert: crème brûlée... probably the best creme brûlée I’ve ever had in my life. Amazing presentation and such unique taste.

Fine dining food at its best. The restaurant was busy which is always a good thing but we were comfortable in the waiting bar and lounge. Superb interiors and ambience and a pleasant hostess. The starters we had - Seabass Carpaccio which was pretty brilliant and the oysters were so fresh. Beautiful presentation on the Sirloin Steak . The Lemon Sole fish was okay. I enjoyed the Creme Brûlée and the Chocolate Fondant. The Rum Baba was a dream! 💞💞It's expensive but worth it for a special occasion or person 😉.. Great new restaurant that you must try out 👍🙌🏼.
My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Galvin's a few nights ago. To be honest I wasn't expecting anything less having visited Galvin's restaurant in London. The food, staff and design of the restaurant is incredible/classy. And they were nice enough to accommodate our 10 year old and toddler. I can wait to visit here again. Thank you, we enjoyed every moment of it. 👌🏾👍🏾
Visited this amazing one last night for dinner. Everything was perfect. Great interiors, welcoming staff, nice selection of drinks, great food and delicious desserts
We ordered the organic beetroot salad (4/5) and the Pumpkin Velouté (5/5) for starters
Grilled Seafood platter for the main course (4/5)
And we had for desserts Chocolate Fondant (5/5) and Blueberry Soufflé (5/5)
The ambience was very nice and the staff was very helpful was suggestions throughout the night

Having visited Demoiselle by Galvin earlier in the year (and generally impressed with their offers), I was delighted to give nearby Galvin a try. To start, upon arrival, the interior is an absolute knockout. It’s everything the closed up Ivy (RIP) wanted to be. Sophisticated and moody, diners will feel like they’ve stepped into a completely different space than the rest of Citywalk. It’s not that I don’t like the area, but Galvin, more so than other nearby venues, has done an outstanding job in completely ‘owning’ their customers. From the moment guests enter, there is a real sense of control and planning in the design. While there is a small lounge-y bar immediately to the right of the reception area, upstairs, diners interested in the cocktail menu can head directly up without disrupting other guests. Past a unique wine storage system, guests dining in the main room should be happy to see a large layout, with a semi-open kitchen plan (with private dining available). The dark wood and crisp design features are a win for me, which is unfortunately not followed through in the rather cheap, metallic placemats at the table (an easy fix, and probably a detail no one but me cares that strongly about…).
One of the best experience ever in Dubai.... good food , friendly staff !!! I Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restaurant that combines amazing food and service.

Very good food - risotto is brilliant. Plenty of vegetarian options available - food cooked to perfection. Prevention beautiful. We went near Christmas and there were beautiful decorations and the whole restaurant was just done up beautifully. If you are going in the evening, I would definitely recommend sitting outside.
