I don't know why this restaurant is under rating, I have been living in Dubai since 6 years but one of the best Arabic food experience I have been got this restaurant. The staff is really kind and helpful the foods have really fresh taste. I am not an easy guest but everything was perfect. They have to prove only the ambiance.....

Lovely food with real oriental taste, atmosphere, I will give 10, and very very nice personnel with great attention to details, the music makes you to be part of show. Definitely I will come back!

(التعليق الأصلي) With so many dining options and 5 star hotels in JBR, it could be easy to overlook some hidden gems and Habtoor Grand Hotel and Resort is definitely one of those instances where you would have to know about a particular restaurant to head there. Al Basha is one of the many dining options that the hotel features and I was pleased to have discovered this Lebanese restaurant that hosts special events throughout the year. I attended the Eid Al Adha brunch, which was a 3 day celebratory event that the hotel was hosting at the restaurant. Brunches are always exciting but they are usually held on Fridays for the most part, and when I discovered that Al Basha was hosting it for 3 days, Sunday-Tuesday, it shows that the restaurant is trying to do something different and appreciative for the culture, which I thought was a nice gesture. As a restaurant that has been around for nearly 30 years, Al Basha knows what works and what doesn’t, and the continuously work on improving their offerings based on guests’ feedback and creativity of the chefs. The restaurant spared no expense to ensure that the guests have an amazing assortment of dishes to select from, where each dish looked, smelled, and tasted as incredible as the next. As Al Basha is a Lebanese restaurant, most of the items were Lebanese but there were a few international dishes to ensure that there was something for everyone. The venue itself recently underwent a renovation and looks brand new. The restaurant was nicely decorated, tables and chairs were in top condition, the sense and feel of being a classic restaurant was there while appearing to be brand new. I particularly enjoyed that Al Basha is a licensed venue, it is not very common to find a Lebanese restaurant that serves house beverages and you are able to find it at Al Basha. The team does everything within their power to ensure you have a great experience, often go above and beyond what you would expect. The chefs were happy to listen to any feedback and make suggestions as to what to eat if you are unfamiliar with the cuisine. Finally, restaurant cleanliness is huge in Dubai and there wasn’t anything to worry about at Al Basha. Overall, I had a great experience at Al Basha and would encourage anyone to give it a try as soon as you get a chance.
