My experience at Royal China has been an overall amazing one! From being seated to the complete dining experience and departure, I was greeted by friendly and proficient staff. The food was exceptional in taste and quantity; you can tell from the quality of the ingredients in each dish. Dishes tried: -
1. Chicken chilli dumplings(the sauce was divine)
2. Prawn Cheung fun(the prawns were jumbo sized)
3. Honey chicken Cheung fun(my husband loved this because it was extremely flavourful but I like my Cheung fun simple)
4. Beef with cashew nuts(came with mushrooms, water chestnuts & carrots; the beef was perfectly cooked and tender)
5. Egg fried rice(by far my fav in Dubai so far)
If I could I would give this restaurant a 15/10 :)
Like almost all from the dim sum menu. Unfortunately the taste of the kung pao chicken and steamed king prawn with garlic were not really impressed me
The food at royal china is always up to the mark but over anything in the restaurant, the service by BU is exceptional and makes our experience a happy one every time. I highly recommend asking to be served by BU if you want to leave highly satisfied.
I really like this place, the taste of the food is really nice we had chicken, shrimp and vegetable dumplings as a starter only one issue is it’s 3 pieces in one portion if u go as a big family u have to order multiple portions so everyone can be able to taste, other than that main courses were so delicious also, prawn noodles, beef with pepper sause, sweet and sour chicken, shrimps and chicken chilli I can suggest, another thing is menu has the pictures of the food so u don’t just guess what to pick I would give 3.5 over 5 if those starter plates can go 6 pieces per serving then i will give 5
Having Royal China delivered to JBR in the times of Corona was one of the highlights of the lockdown period. The delivery was fast and none of the dumplings and noodles were overcooked or soggy by the time we've started eating on every occasion (straight from the box!!)
Flavours are right, menu is extensive, food was presented great and portions were just right. Personally I wish some of the dishes had more szechuan pepper in them but hey, that's just me eating fire.
Fortune cooking are a nice extra touch for something sweet after the meal

Tasty, clean and delicious. Definitely one of the best Chineas i tried in Dubai.
Ordered online for some comfy Chinese dinner and got some great dishes that I saved some for next day's lunch.
- Hot&Sour Soup (Veg) was a great soup and generous portion of it.
- Chicken & Mushroom Buns - loved the flavor and the softness of the bun! Wish there was more filling.
- Deep Fried Prawn Dumplings - Crunchy, crispy, with a prawn within. Dip it in the sauce provided on the side and enjoy!
- Sliced Beef with Braised Noodles - I ate them all with chopsticks. The beef was delicious, the noodles were well cooked and had a great flavor to it.
- Mango Pudding - I really wanted to give this a try and was not disappointed. Have it chilled or have it as soon as you receive as it tends to melt. Loved it.
On time delivery and well packaged, cant wait to visit them when the lockdown is over.
Definitely coming back to explore more dishes. Basically tried the entire dumpling menu in one seating. Really huge place. Shame it's empty on a Tuesday night.
The dim sum here is as good as it gets in Dubai. The main courses are pretty yum too. I wasn’t excited by the brunch menu. A lot of food but perhaps too much of the same stuff . Would rather order A la carte next time .
Service is efficient but not warm. Which is fine if you know what you want and don’t mind asking for things.
Overall certainly a top choice place for a relaxed and good Chinese meal . Just nothing that was exceptional enough to deserve 5 stars according to me. Maybe 4.5? ( Zomato please note the lack of enough range in your rating points system!)
The food, as well as the customer service, is impressive at Royal China. I have tried the prawn dim sum, the scallop dim sum, the prawn cheung fun and the vegetable cheung fun. The prawn dumplings and scallop dumplings remain a favorite of mine. I had an issue with a delivery and the restaurant promptly called and apologized and replaced my order. Definitely would dine here again.

Always enjoy having a meal here. The dimsums are one of the best I’ve had in Dubai. The Ma Po Tofu is great as well as the fried rice. Will be returning soon.
Loooove the food. The Calamari is melt in the mouth. So perfect. the shitaake mushroom in the main course is so good! The Mai Tai was nice too! A great find!
Perfect fine dining place for authentic Chinese recipes. Service is very good and quality/taste of the food is very good. Definitely one had to try to relish the presentation, ambience and taste. Nice set of cocktails will quench your thirst. Lot of tasty vegetarian options to relive my tummy. You will be disappointed to hear there are no deserts that will finish the last course. Surprisingly.
But that doesn't overshadow the goodies of the restaurant. Happy hunting....

One of the best places for Chinese food. I am not usually a fan of asian food but after tasting the food here, i must say it is so good. The Dim Sums are my favorite here (be it chicken, veggie, shrimps, everything). Very nice ambiance and lovely staff. Takeaway, delivery or dine in, this place is the best.

We ordered chicken corn & straw mushrooms chicken soup, chicken with pepper black bean, veggie friend rice , fried asparagus (very yummy and highly recommended), king prawns with garlic sauce, prawns on toast and stir friend mixed veggies...

Business lunch had a good selection for vegetarians from the soup, starters n main course. Good quality food, great ambience, hospitable staff, would definitely visit again.
This is my favourite chinese restaurant in Dubai. Is it fine dining and cantonese style chinese. The food and service are excellent. They also accomodate changes to any dish where possible. They have lots of vegatarian options.
If you like real chinese then this is the place to go to.

Amazing food every time, whether its takeaway or dining in. The dim sum is incredible! They also have a business lunch which is great value for what you get. This really is the best Chinese food in Dubai!
One of the most prestigious and gorgeous Chinese restaurants in Dubai , I believe. All the food is exquisitely made and taste is undoubtedly thorough to its details. Interior is simple but has all what you expect to top Chinese restaurant. I loved sticky rice but I wished a little more variety to Friday brunch menu.
Best dimsum place in Dubai! Good quality good service and family friendly! Great variety and good price! Only thing i wish there was a vegetable side dish.
We had a great brunching time with a set of good vegetarian dimsim menu which had really goood and yummy food to try on with a repeat option which anyone would want to with a great essence of Jasmine tea as an unlimited complimentary.

Royal China offers one of the best Chinese cuisine in Dubai. Firstly I love the ambience, although not particularly fancy this restaurant marks its presence in its own style. I love Indo-Chinese food, but my venture into authentic Chinese has always been a failure. But this place, proved me wrong. Below are the dishes we tried:
- lychee martini : loved that it felt less alcoholic and more flavourful
- chilli chicken dumplings : One of the best dumplings I've tasted in a while. The dumplings are bite sized and packed with flavour. It gets even better when you dunk it in the sauce. Since the portion size of all dishes are small I recommend you order atleast 2 starters if you're a happy eater.
- Crispy Aromatic duck - We can choose to have this in rolls made of dumpling sheet, am sure this elevates the taste to a different level. Am not a fan of duck but this duck roast is the best I've eaten.
- Chilli chicken in chiu chow style : The chicken was super tender and a perfect blend of hot and sweet. The subtle hint of sweetness from sea weed complemented the chicken sooo well that we ended up picking sea weed and eating off our plate.
- chicken fried rice : Usually the chicken pieces in fried rice are a disappointment but this restaurant absolutely gets it right with the super tender chicken in tasty fried rice.
- Sesame paste in peanut powder : I was veey unsure of this dessert dish. But it turned out to be a super hit.
The sweetness of sesame paste covered in peanut powder mildly enveloped by sticky rice is a burst of flavours in your mouth.
Apart from the portion size, I would give a double thumbs up for this restaurant. Absolutely blissful Chinese food !
Fried chicken dumplings need to be cooked for longer.
If you’re an authentic Chinese cuisine fan like me, this place will delight you for sure ! I went for their unlimited dim sums brunch held on weekends. They have talents ten varieties of dim sums and all of them taste amazing . Loved their sesame prawn rolls, chicken and mushroom buns and the honey roasted chicken bun.. they taste absolutely fantastic. They have varieties of Chinese teas / Chinese beer and wines!
Pocket pinch is definitely on the higher side but considering it’s a fine dining and the level of service, it’s totally worth it ! Must try for all !!
