Amongst the many Sumo Sushi bento branches, I like this one the most as the area is nice and bright.
Like all other branches, their staffs and food are always excellent.
Me & My friend had some Ramen - I chose the Sapporo shoyu Ramen and and it was so flavorful - and a really big portion.
We also had some sushi that was excellent - Seared garlic salon is one of the best!
If you are nearby definitely stop by for a meal. Everything was delicious, exceedingly fresh(no stringy tuna here!) and worthy of 5 stars. Do not miss this hidden gem!
The service, I don't think I've ever had better service, this place has people walking around asking if everything's good, hows your food, taking away use plates, just incredible service especially Aneli.

Sumo Sushi & Bento is one of the popular sushi joints & they have many branches across the city.I recently visited sumo sushi & bento located at the town centre,jumeirah and i was awestruck with the fabulous food & outstanding service they offered.
Their menu is very elaborative & they offer much more than sushi.From their drinks to starters to sushi rolls we loved every bit of it.We started off with some of their refreshing drinks from the menu.We had Burj & Green twist.Their drinks are super delicious and fresh.you can actualy eat their drinks as they are adding fresh chunks of fruits in it and i really enjoyed it.
For starters we had rock n roll shrimps & calamari rings.Samurai & Emperor's new roll from sushi menu.Misoyaki Bata cod,Sumo special fried rice and chilli prawn bento as mains.We cant just point out one favorite dish from their menu because we loved each and everything we tried from sumo.For desserts,we tried matcha cheesecake & one of their newly launched dessert.Loved their desserts as well.
Sumo sushi is one of my favorite restaurant now and i am definitely visiting them again.

I loved the concept of the Bento Boxes, especially the ones that can be custom created with choices of rice, sushi and vegetables. For people like me, who goes out looking for healthy eat outs and has appetite for trying authentic Japanese Cuisine, I would recommend them visiting "Sumo Sushi N Bento"!!
I haven’t been to Town Centre for quite sometime -good that I was able to pass as my friends child is interested to do a kids party and little did I know that they do parties with their lovable mascot named Kenji . I was shared with this photo so I would know how Kenji looks like - he looks so adorable in that photo. And my - I love this Spectacular Roll! Give them 4 for service and great food.

I always ordered a delivery and there service was so fast they always meet there promising time..and the food was so amazing specially the samurai "yummy😋😋😋".even i order a delivery i can still taste it the freshness of the food.
I had food delivered and used the buy 1 get 1 promos from Zomato. Presentation of food was great, the taste did not disappoint. Chicken tonkatsu was juicy and crispy and vegetables were fresh. Both have big servings so it's also good for sharing.
Love how airy this branch feels with all its natural light, during the day off course. The service is great and food portions, variety and price are good too!
Favs: I would go back here for the Emperor Roll. The Mango Tuna Tataki was pretty good too. The California is a classic and you can’t go wrong with it.
Not my favs but could be yours: Wish the desserts were at par with the remaining food. Felt short somewhere.
I have been eating here for years and cant say I've ever been disappointed! I never fail to order my favorite - the Samurai poke bowl. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger 😉 think I've tried nearly everything on the menu by now. Love that they have specials every month and now that they have their app and Kenji points, the contests are lots of fun. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Sumo Sushi & Bento has been my go-to place for sushi for many years now. Whether it is to dine-in or take-away or get the food delivered, we have never been disappointed. The best part is that they’re pocket-friendly too. Their Town Centre branch in Jumeirah is my favorite branch. Last week my family and I visited them for lunch.
Undoubtedly a top spot for Japanese. We came here during lunch time and found the ambience to be quiet, sophisticated and being dome shaped the lighting was great as well. They have an extensive menu with a large variety with even chicken fried rice(5/5 - came in very handy as my wife enjoyed it). We also tried the rock n roll shrimp(4/5 - sweet n sour), wasabi prawns(4/5), clalamari(5/5), sake hara(5/5), sumojito(5/5) in starters, the neptune(4/5), twister(5/5), spectacular(5/5) and crunchy philly in sushi rolls and in desserts (which a lot of Japanese places don't have too much choice in) the Choco Bomb(5/5) and Mochi(5/5). Chandra took care of us from start to end so excellent service and overall there isn't much more I can ask of any restaurant. Perfect lunch for us.
Love this place! always a favorite! we visit Sumo sushi and bento over and over again!! Friendly, modern, nice environment great food ! all the fishes are really fresh and tasty! the staff is very friendly explaining everything about their dishes!
Me and Bae were craving some Japanese food so we dropped by for dinner.
We had their chilli prawn Bento with salad, the shiitake mushroom broth and two types of sushi.. the staff there was sweet enough to follow through on all our instructions and kept in mind our dietary restrictions.. will definitely be back again!

This is the first time we tried and liked the Sushi & Bento. This place is located inside Town Centre in Jumeira. Fairly large sitting area serving Iftar special menu for Aes 179 which is more for 2 persons. We decided to try A La Carte. Service was very fast and servers Sharwin & Chandra made it a wonderful experience. The Manager April made sure all guests were taken proper care of.
Prawns Tempura big Kenji size. This was a huge monster of prawns fried in Crispy batter. Wow nice and Crunchy.
Rock & Roll shrimp Sumo size really Rocked. Their Chefs special sauce made it more delectable.
Calamari rings was very hot and crispy but soft and not rubbery. Fried at the right temp.
Tempura veggie was a mix of batter fried veggies. Wonderful taste.
Avocado & Crabstik salad is a big Bowl of loaded vegetables. The crabsticks was superb. Very colorful dish.
Crispy creame Sushi is a batter fried Sushi. One of the best Sushi in town topped with sweet and chilli sauce. I am a fan of this now.
Bento box with protein grilled Salmon Fish and veggies was a nicely grilled salmon in their secret sauce.
Purple power, Green dream & Carrot Top drinks were served chilled. No added sugar. All natural and healthy option. They have a wide range of Mocktails & Healthy drinks and shakes to choose from.
Choco Bomb & Monki cake made our day. The surprise of ice cream inside the Chocolate Bomb was a real surprise. The Monki cake was served with salted caramel ice cream.
As I’ve previously said, this is one of the best restaurants in Dubai, one that I crave every time I go back to Lebanon. Their sushi is absolutely delicious, and they have a weird variety, all of which really impress me. The staff is very friendly, and the seating in the mall is very strategic. Strongly recommended!
I had ordered a chirashi bento it had a wide variety of items in it the fish especially was really delicious and was one of a kind bento box. The ambience was also great and staff was friendly the only complaint is the food took a little longer that expected but that shouldn't spoil the taste or the experience.
What can I say? I am a sucker for Sushi and this is one of my favorite Sushi houses in Dubai. Nestled in the heart of Jumeirah, it's a great place if you don't want to be bothered by too much of a crowd and just want to enjoy some damn sushi. Wide variety of Sushis and Salads. Do try the Dynamite Shrimps!

Really like the salmon and tuna cuts, you can tell they are quality and the soy sauce compliments the meal. The preparation in food and dedication is easily noticeable and coordination of the staff and the fast delivery, has me hooked to Sumo and I am a regular customer.
Ordered three Salmon Lovers and it was a great experience tasting the dish. It was fresh, superb and melts in your mouth. I have greatly enjoyed the food. I will order again and recommend it to my friends. :)
Old time all time go to for Japanese! All kinds of yummy temaki, nigiri, rolls, bento and the best Chicken katsu outside of Japan! Laid back casual and an extensive menu. Always a must visit every time I’m in Dubai.

And from where ive come that is casablanca in morocco ..where sushi is huge favorite so we used to have superior quality of sushi restaurants practically in every street...
So when i moved dubai ...i was craving sushi ..but in vain except maybe a zuma which is a high end restaurant and not and every day...place ..
Finally i can say i found one such fantastic sushi place ..my friend took me ..we had the alaska roll with Smoked salmon, crabstick, and avocado mixed with mayo, covered with tobiko
Samurai roll with Prawn tempura and crabstick salad, lightly topped with salmon, avocado, cream cheese, mayo and spicy mayo
And speciality sushi ...Kemuri dragon roll -A savory roll filled with ebi fry sushi, avocado, and tamago, topped with unagi and ebiko served with a hint of smoky flavor.
Only dampener was the bottomless iced tea..which was quite bad ..tried many flavors ...none were nice ..very bland with no flavor...
But the sushi made up for it...
Such an amazing place ...i will surely visit many times and tell all family n friends...
This was the first time I tried sushi in general and I must say it’s definitely not my last!
Reasonably priced, full of flavour, friendly staff and lots of options to choose from!

While I love fine dining Japanese, there’s a special place in my heart for the more budget-friendly, everyday dining experience of a place like Sumo Sushi & Bento. This is the place to go for a come-as-you-are casual meal, any time of the week. Unsurprisingly, you can order sushi or bentos, as well as your typical Japanese starters (edamame, gyoza, dynamite shrimp) and Japanese mains (chicken katsu curry, ramen, fried rice, fried noodles). But they’ve also expanded their menu to include tuna and salmon tartares, poke bowls, and even a sushi sandwich.
I was craving Sushi and Sashimi since more than a month now and I finally went with my friend to Sumo Sushi & Bento in Town Centre for dinner few days ago. It was a great experience and the food was so good. We started with this fresh Sumo Sashimi Salad. The we also took another Salad, the Avocado and Crabstick Salad that was also delicious.

We were craving for some seafood and we decided to try out some Sushi and we must say we are now #SUMOSUPERFAN
The place is situated right in the middle of Jumeirah Town Centre and very spacious. Although it was a weekday, I must say the outlet was fairly full.
The concept of open access to foodies giving them a peek of food preparation in the open is brilliant and super cool idea.
The staff is friendly and have good knowledge of the dishes and their contents (which is a plus for anyone trying out new cuisines).
Our host for the evening was Mr. Bishnu - quite friendly and entertaining with stories and facts. He was very prompt with the food and kept a note of us all through out. He truly knows what would suit your taste buds and also recommends if you face any confusions
To start off with, we stayed safe and ordered the Rock and Roll Shrimp (Dynamite Shrimps for non-Sumos). This was good and set the tone for the evening.
Next, we tried the Bento. Bento is a single-portion take-out or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento holds rice or noodles, fish or meat, with pickled and cooked vegetables, in a box. We tried the Salmon and Chicken. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and overshadowed the chicken.
The highlight of the evening was the Sushi Boat. It is a sushi platter where you get to choose what goes in there. Different types of sushi to pick from, which would satisfy any foodie (there are options even for the veggies). Our picks included
-Sweet Potato Crunch, Crunchy Crazy, Forbidden Roll, Slim Salmon and Emperors New Roll. It was a burst of different flavors one better than the other. This is a must recommend and good enough for two.
The special for the month was Sushi Neptune Rolls (Tempura Shrimps, Asparagus, Crab stick, Melted Mozzarella Cheese and Tobico) It was a decent choice.
To wash all this down we chose an array of the following drinks - Ginger Lime, Pomegranate with Passion Fruit, Melon with Carrot and the Lime Mint Juice. Must say the pomegranate passion is a definite try.
We ended the evening with the Chocolate Ball & Vanilla Ice Cream (the one where they pour hot chocolate sauce on top and it melts). My friend had the Carrot Cake. I must say for a place with such awesome sushi, the dessert could be improved a little.
Overall, this place is a must recommend and definitely worth every fils.
Their sumo sandwich is my favorite!!!! Must try!!! They have free dynamite shrimp if you download their app. Staff are all accommodating.
Just one thing, Ramen tasted a bit dull. The rest were all okay!!!
Amazing service, the staff were really nice and welcoming. The Samurai maki was really good, but the Phoenix was a bit fishy coated with raw shredded fish which I don’t recommend for any type of sushi. The pole ball was really good. Would of defiantly go back

The first thing that captivated my glance when I walked through Town Centre was the football match being broadcasted on a huge screen, and to my surprise it was attached to Sumo Sushi and Bento (SSB). You can have a semi-fine dining experience while you kick back and enjoy with your favourite sport broadcasted live!
Now to the food:
I love the idea of an open kitchen, I was able to view my Pineapple juice being made fresh.
Coming to the food, SSB has a wide variety of Japanese food items you can try and a lot you can choose from.
We were first served the Seafood soup. The soup had a burst of different flavours. For soups this flavourful, I often wonder how a clear soup is prepared. You can't see the little ingredients, but the major ones like the shitake mushrooms, fish, veggies and the prawns are visible.
We tried the Wasabi Fire shrimp that was served in a cocktail glass. The shrimps were massive in size. As the name suggests 'fire' for the wasabi, the shrimps had a slight pungent taste to it and the Mayo like drizzle address a subtle freshness to the dish. We ordered for a Rock and Roll Shrimp which was surprisingly crunchy. Again, the size of the shrimp were incredibly huge. Deep fried in tempura batter, it was coated in sweet sauce. The Rock and Roll shrimp is a great choice for an appetizer.
We ordered the Seafood Spring Rolls. They were these long deep fried rolls cut in half served with sweet chilli sauce. The seafood tasted fresh and the sauce added to the flavour.
We also ordered the Gyoza which is boiled chicken and veggies stuffed in dumplings served with Gyoza sauce. The dumplings are the size of half your fist, and you get five of them which is great value for money!
We went ahead and ordered for Golden Ito Ebi prawns. The prawns were wrapped and deep fried in thin vermicelli shavings (Kunafa). After dipping it into the sauce, my mouth had a burst of mad flavourful juices. They were so delicious and crunchy and the sauce complimented and added more flavour to the prawns.
After having a few appetizers, I was now craving for sushi rolls.
So I ordered a Sweet Potato Crunch, Tuna Sushi Sandwich and the Emperor's New Roll. The Sweet Potato Crunch had avocados, prawns, crabstick, sweet potatoes all rolled in a sweet chilli sauce. This was the best sushi I've tried. It was juicy and the vermicelli shavings brought a crunch to it. The sauce complimented the ingredients in the finest way possible.
The Tuna Sushi Sandwich came with huge Tuna patties sandwiched between two rice cakes. The Tuna was fresh and the sesame seeds brought a different texture to the dish.
The Emperor's New Roll was by far my favourite. It had fried tempura prawns with avacado, crabsticks and cucumber with sweet chilli sauce. I ordered it off the menu because of the way it looked. To be honest it looked really fun to eat and I was not disappointed.
We also tried the Sumo Fried Rice Special. It was loaded with mushrooms, chicken, and prawns. This fried rice made me forget about all other fried rices I've tasted! The dish was as fragrant as it could ever be.
After we completed our meal, we were given the dessert specials. Our stomachs were full, but we made some more place for dessert, and I'm glad I did.
We had a Matcha ice cream wrapped in Matcha cake. The cake was spongy And the ice cream was so refreshing. I'd heard so much about Matcha from various websites and this was the first time I had anything Matcha and I absolutely loved it. To know that even ice cream can be made from tea is just amazing.
We also had the honour of trying Caramel and strawberry Mochi. They were these little envelopes of gelatinous pockets filled with creamy ice cream. I couldn't have enough of this. The Mochi ice cream is a must try item if the menu!
The food was really scrumptious, but the highlight of the entire meal would definitely go to the desserts. I'd applaud the Food Chef for such a wonderful and creative menu and who painstakingly prepared these intricate dishes and also to the Pastry Chef who created these unique desserts to blow our minds.
I've been to a couple of conveyor belt Sushi restaurants where what you see is what you get and most importantly how much you get. In SSB, I got double of what I paid for in the other sushi restaurant.
In summary, Sumo Sushi and Bento is a restaurant you must not miss. The quantity is a match to its quality. Great ambience and value for money, the staff is polite, respectful and kind. I'd definitely visit SSB again in a few weeks.
I went to this restaurant with my friends to watch the France vs Belgium game. It was a fantastic experience. The energy levels were high, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I wasn't too hungry, but the food was too good to leave any of it on the plate. I'll definitely be coming back someday.

Emperors roll was the most colorful sushi on the menu and it did not disappoint. Made with prawn tempura, avocado, cucumber, brown rice and crab stick! . A Winning combination !!

Black Pepper Seafood (Combo of 🐚, 🍤, 🐟, 🦑) - The sauce was so delicious specially mussels i liked alot but unfortunately Quantity was little bit lesser as its very tasty 😋 (Recommended 👌)

It’s Fifa world cup season and they have got a huge screen for anyone to enjoy the match while trying out their delicious sushis and appetizers.
Undoubtedly they have got the best sushis.
From their sushis, I tried Samurai, Sweet Potato Crunch, Prawn Paradise and Emperor’s New Roll.
All were different in taste. My favourite had to be the Samurai. It was just perfect with all those flavours in it. They use the best sticky rice and I guess that’s the reason behind those yummy sushis. The Sweet Potato Crunch was kind of sweet and had those shredded potato on top. Another favourite.
The appetizers were great. Rock N’ Roll Shrimps were better than Wasabi Shrimps. Rock N Roll Shrimps was little bit more saucy.
The refreshments were kind of a disappointment.
The dessert menu is very tempting and has my favourite Matcha Desserts. The Matcha Tiramisu was kind of like just a matcha flavoured frosting and I did not like it much. Fried Ice Cream was really good.
Overall, this is the best place for sushi.

Sumo Sushi and Bento at Town Centre
1. Located at Town Centre Jumeirah where parking is free and its almost empty.
2. They are showing the football Matches (Super Huge Screen), so if your into football fever then you will like the place.
3. Free Internet and running out of cellphone battery is not problem they can charge it for you (power bank would be great).
4. Waited for about 4 minutes before someone come up to me and ask for my order ( probably need more man power).
5. The Waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food menu, presents the menu and explain about the food and drinks. – impressive
6. The food service is fast nothing to complain about.
7. Food plating and the way they arrange and style the food is very tempting - it temps my eyes and make me really want to eat it.
8. Am so happy they have healthy drinks in there menu that taste just right (not over powering and not so strong).

Mochi ice cream and Macha Crème Brulee is a delicious treat and always my favorite to order.
With so many enticing , delicious food menu option at Sumo Sushi and Bento am sure like me you will love the place!
For quite a few years we have enjoyed their sushi. Occasionally there were a few hiccups such as delays and misplaced orders. However, Sumo sushi succumbs to my sushi cravings 90% of the time.

Have you ever felt limited to just eating sushi at a sushi restaurant? Not at Sumo Sushi & Bento. This famous brand serves up a variety of Asian dishes including gyoza, shrimps, rice, noodles, poke bowls, and Bento boxes in addition to a wide selection of sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi (veggie options included) and more.
It’s summer, please include ice as the sushi was warm (you usually do so not sure what happened)

I have no complaints about their foods, prices and the customer service.
However, before Ramadhan started I came here with my mom and the kids to have lunch. We ordered Ramen, tempura bento, 2 miso soups, and 2 juices. And then the waiter told me that I will get 1 starter for free since I ordered 2 main course. And wow it made me so happy, he showed me all the free starters and we decided to order the spicy shrimps.
Congratulation to sumo it is really a good gesture to gifted the customer on the spot by giving a complimentary food. Because usually they top up the points to my sumo card. And sometimes I get discount or free food if I reached certain amount. But this time was another promotion that made my day.!!

i had ordered Chicken Chashu Ramen, Rock n Roll Shrimp and Tiger Sushi Rolls. I am normally a big fan of the Chashu Ramen Sumo does, but this time, it had enormously big chunks of chicken that i skipped. I suggest to reduce the size of Chicken. The taste was good. It was my first time of using it and guess what, i got the Rock and Roll on the house as a welcome gift :) Nice Marketing Strategy and pretty impressive :)
I recommend this place, just not for Sushi, but for other great items on the menu ... Poke Bowls, Rice, Noodles and of course the Apetizers

Starting with Rock N Roll shrimps which was really delicious. I tried as well the Golden Ito Ebi which was super crunchy and tasty. اكثر طبقين بالمقبلات عجبوني روك اند رول مثل الداينمايت و روبيان الملفوف يجي مقرمش و لذيذ

Ending my meal with Moshi as it's the best dessert you can have after yummy sushi. I recommend to try the vanilla and strawberry flavor, it was incredibly good. و بعد السوشي لازم تجربون موشي الايسكريم بطعم الفراوله و الفانيله ولااااا غلطه

It's very good sushi place for family and friends, and I loved the samurai roll and crunchy crazy roll but the spicy mayo was too spicy and definitely, I had the best shrimp gayoza, I must say its affordable everything was good
It was a good surprise to try food from this restaurant. The chicken Japanese Curry with rice is amazing... The monkey cake with vanilla ice cream is super delicious. Food packaging with re-heating instructions is a great idea. You wont need those re-heating instructions though because food arrives on time and Warm. Totally recomended and keep that quality om food, delivery and packaging. Thumbs up.

One of our first tastings after a ‘Sushi’ hiatus of a few months due to personal reasons, was to try out the new menu at Sumo Sushi and Bento and boy were we excited to dig into that meal or what! Sumo Sushi and Bento has been around Dubai and the region for more than 15 years and is one of the names that always comes up when one thinks about where to go for some good Japanese food. The bright restaurant has a menu that offers a diversity of dishes like interesting Bento boxes, rice and noodle dishes, colorful Sushi and the current rage, Poke Bowls, among others. Here’s what we had at our tasting:

Suni sushi and bento is a hidden gem in Jumeira area , being inside town centre they have pretty good seating area .
Mr.Joseph their manager was very helpful to us , he suggested what all to order and gave us a complete idea about the different kind sushi and bentos they have .
They even have kids meal , which was total worth the entire had an option to select fruits , a Asma in course , some vegetables and a juice . .
In starters we orders the crispy prawns called golden ito , dynamite shrimps and the chicken gyoza. Chicken gyoza was like pan fried momo, the sauce was yum . The crispy prawns were great . The dynamite shrimps weren’t the best but still liked it.
In main course we went for cooked sushi , the sweet potato sushi I loved it . The special sumo fried rice was perfect fried rice.
In desserts we opted for fried ice cream , simply loved all the food and the concept .
Final verdict - amazing place to go with family , prawn eto and ice cream tempura are must try .service and the menu options are pretty good .

When you think of sushi and bento boxes in the UAE, you have to think about Sumo. It’s one of the oldest and most well established sushi brands here. This Japanese restaurant franchise was launched in 2000 and now almost two decades later have branches across the UAE as well as around the GCC with ongoing plans to expand in the near future. With their extensive menu including a decent vegetarian section along with specials each month, there really is something for everyone.
Both of us had our first sushi experience at Sumo many years ago, so for us it’s definitely a nostalgic place.
Great food with innovative dishes and an extensive menu, you will definitely find a dish or two to try out even if you’re not a sushi eater.
What we had:
Wasabi Fire ShrimpEdamame (Garlic) Kimchee Fried Rice: This was the biggest surprise for us and was the highlight of our meal. The kimchee was well mixed into the rice and they also give some on the side. The tanginess of the kimchee really elevates this dish. It’s delicious! The chicken was a bit average on its own, but if you have it with the rice it works well.
Sweet Potato Crunch: If you haven’t tried this, you are missing out. The flavours work perfectly together and those sweet potato curls really are crunchy. Delicious and with great textures, we highly recommend this. This dish is Sumo at its best, still a maki roll but they’ve boosted it by adding a modern delicious twist which takes your taste buds on an adventure.

How to get there:
Sumo is located in Town Center, which is on Jumeirah Road and quite close to Mercato Mall. When heading in the direction of Dubai, Town Centre is right before Mercato Mall. When heading in the direction of Abu Dhabi, once you pass Mercato Mall on your left, you need to take a u-turn and go into the first service lane. On the right will be the entrance to the underground parking.
