Excellent place for quick lunch if you work in the area. You get to choose your own Burrito box, and can opt for a vegetarian option.

Have been there once. Liked the concept of the action figures on the table. Could play with them until the food came. Authentic Mexican taste, quick service, friendly staff.
Tasty Mexican food and served fresh and readily. Price is ok as well. I ordered quesadilla and also had rice box. However felt that the quantity of the rice box is a bit less for the price. Quesadillas were nice as I was having it for the first time.

I had a burrito with the usual fillings, it tasted damn good. However I think it is too expensive for the size of the product you get. I know the demand for mexican food is less in this part of the world, but its not like exotic ingredients are begin used or anything. If I spent 36 dirhams on a shawarma I would have enough for the entire day. My burrito was over before it even started.
They serve good tacos but the size and the fillings are small compared to the one that I had overseas they have good coffee as well I will try the burrito next time
The guys do a good burrito box and the barbacoa is quite the delight. They have fresh drinks and sometimes they have the Horchata, which should not be missed.
This is the place u must try if you haven’t..Good combination of healthy food with taste.Their taqados with combination of chicken, black bean and avocado sauce is delicious...Box is also another good choice..Though I find quantity is less considering price..But none the lest good food...

I always order the large burrito because it very filling! Sometimes the steak is tender and other times very chewy but it tastes good either way. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure dining here.
Very convenient location for people working in Emaar Square. The cuisine is mexican. They have the usual mexican dishes: tacos, quesadillas etc... You can go for the box which is filling if you have a long day at work. The chicken are marinated well. You can include in the box: rice, chicken, beans, cheese, sour cream for example. The food tastes delicious.
Vibrant and colorful layouts with delicious food and authentic Mexican products like jarritos! The burritos are delicious and the meat as well as chicken are tender.. the nachos are a must!

The branch located in Emaar Square is one of the many preferred lunch options as it is quick to serve and the meals are customisable.
Taqato has a small menu of the Mexican dishes but their Burrito is the best seller along with the Tres Tacos. They also serve amazing coffee from Raw Coffee Company and a lovely selection of Jarritos.
The staff is always friendly and the service is quick making it is a nice place to grab a quick lunch.
If u r craving for mexican food and looking for a casual mexican restuarant, Taqado is the place to go. Taqado will never disappoint you in quality and taste. Try there burritos and you will definitely come to this place again.

Taqado is one of our default restaurants in the office. When we feel like going out for lunch but don't want to walk all the way to Dubai Mall, then this becomes the place of choice.
Taqado sports a clean interior with the choice of colors on the lighter scale but with a few Mexican touches. The place is bright and airy. It is good for a quick sit down meal over light conversations.
I have my regular at this place - box with tomato rice, pulled beef, mild salsa, black beans, cheese and sometimes with guacamole. I went for my regular without guacamole in my last visit. I also had churros and fresh watermelon juice. My 'box' lunch was as good as ever. The rice was cooked well, the beef as tasty as ever, the salsa refreshing and mild and everything else adding to a collectively good dish. I applaud Taqado for its consistency. I don't recall ever having a bad serving of this dish. The churros wasn't the best but good enough. I ordered a portion only because I was craving for one. The churros here was 'harder' than how it should be. It is more bread-like and lack the crisp exterior and chewy core combination of an ideal churros. I know Taqado was not the best place for this but for a quick fix, it's churros was good enough. The watermelon was very refreshing and naturally sweet. I was glad to have tried that instead of the other flavoured drinks.
We keep coming to this place because of its reliability. With its consistency, we will keep coming for the foreseeable future.
Best Burrito in the Downtown area.
I regularly visit to satiate my burrito cravings. Its hard to find a bar style place in Dubai with the perfect combination of ingridients. They retain the authenticity and they are flexible about the dish as you construct your own.
Cant say the same about other Taqado outlets, that somehow dont match up to this one.
Bonus: Hot Cholocate is a must try.
Healthy alternative: Veggie burrito bowl! Gluten free and Vegan if requested.

Since the outlet is near my office, I keep popping over for lunch every now and then. The first time I tried Taqado was when they had opened their first joint in Mall of the Emirates. The joint was only a few days old at the time.
The menu is limited to basic Mexican dishes such as Tacos, Quesadillas, Burritos, Churros etc. Sometimes they say that less is more and Taqado is a good example of that. With the limited menu they have, they do justice to the dishes they serve.
There is no doubt that their Burrito is the most famous dish on the menu but my personal favourite is their Quesadilla. I somehow feel that the food at this particular outlet is better during peak hours, probably because the staff gets more time to process and prepare your order.
My favourite picks here are the Chicken Quesadilla (the grilled chicken one), the Chicken Burrito and the Churros (both the caramel one and the regular one). The staff is always cheerful and it's a pleasure to dine in.
I have already been there atleast a dozen times and hope to visit them a number of times more.

I had a Barbacoa Burrito with black beans, hot and mild sauces, sour cream, and cheese. It was delicious.
I'll definitely be back for more.

I'm not a huge fan of burritos as I find them too carb heavy. I do however love their protein sides. Their achiote chicken side is delicious and a great snack for AED 10!

Possibly in the last two years working in the area, I've been eating from taqado 30-35% of the time and I'm still not bored.
Their burritos are pretty damn good. I do sometimes wonder what would happen if Chipotle ever decided to enter the Dubai market. But until then, these guys are dominating the "burrito scene." Their staff are really nice and overall vibe is probably cooler than Chipotle anyways.

Thank you for the sponsored organic Quesadilla lunch. Although there is a lot to be desired on their customer service, the food they serve are of high quality and the taste is marvelous. They are fresh and the size of the lunch serving is just right for a person who did not have breakfast. As they claimed, all vegetables are organic and the beef is grass feed. They are making their own sour cream and the salsa is a homegrown recipe. The price is a little steep but with the current offer, it's a good value for money. The atmosphere and piped in music feels like really Mexican. I admire the bottled coke and the free churros.

The food tasted fabulous, extremely fresh and authentic. Although the churros were not quite fresh and did not taste that great. Ever since I have been seeing many posts of yummy Mexican food and recipes online, I have been looking for a place that serves authentic Mexican food. Being a Dubai kid, tasting a perfect taco and quesadillas has always been on my to-eat list for long. That is when I came across the fancy Coca Cola styled food counter at Dubai mall. But I have never got a chance to try them.
I had gone to visit a friend one afternoon at the Emmar Square. Since it was lunch time, my friend and I decided to try something new and different from the usual junk. That is when one of my friend mentioned about the Mexican outlet in the same location. Not quite sure about the name of the outlet, we decided to try our luck. But as soon as I saw the name Taqado, there was no further thinking over it, I just really wanted to try it.
The outlet was located in the calmer section of The Emmar Square. The outlet offered both indoor and outdoor seating. However the indoor seating was limited. The lighting of the outlet was unique with light rays emitted through an array of clear bottles hanging down from the ceiling resembling a chandelier. As the outlet was located right in the center of a busy business hub, the outlet seating was occupied. In addition the phones were non stop from which I could understand that they had a massive number of take away orders as well. We ordered a crispy Dos Taco, a medium burrito and a natural flavored soda for the drink.
The order was ready in a jiffy as we mentioned what was to be added in each. The taco was served as a set of three, with an option of marinated and grilled chicken, beef, fresh vegetables and dressings. I chose to have Chicken tacos priced AED 34 with two different marinations, veggie, sour cream and spicy salsa for the dressing. For the burrito, 10" priced at AED 32, my friend chose tomato rice with grilled chicken, veggies and sour cream. For the drinks and beverages, there were many options to choose from. We chose a bottle of Mandarin (Mango) flavored soda priced at AED 12.
I am not quite sure of how long the chain has been in the markets but for sure I have missed out on some happening Mexican dishes. It’s a shout out to all the Mexican food lovers to give it a shot.

I'm not normally a fan of Mexican food but was introduced to this place due to the limited lunch options available around work.
I'm now a big fan of their burrito box - where for 35dhs you get to choose various fillings:
Lemon or Spanish rice - they give you a bit of both of you ask.
Beef, pulled beef or chicken - I personally prefer the chicken.
Beans or peppers & onion mix - I always go for the black beans.
Spicy or normal salsa - spicy ofcourse! :)
Sour cream or cheese - sour cream. You can have both for an additional charge.
Guacamole - for an additional charge. I'm not a fan so abstain.
You can also ask for lettuce which I like to do.
This makes a great lunch especially when you add the various chilli sauces they have - I prefer the green one but watch it it's lethal!
Taqado as a chain reminds me of chipotle and it may have even surpassed my expectations. This branch prepares excellent fresh quesadillas in a portion large enough to feed a very hungry foodie. I also recommend the burrito boxes.

Super awesome Mex food!
This is one of the very few places in Dubai where I have had great Mexican food. Their guacamole is absolutely fab, I can actually taste the avocado with additions. Their nacho chips are fresh and crunchy and the salsa super spicy. Ordered for a quesadilla which was made just right with cheese, black beans and salsa. The Mexican rice box was so yummy and filling. This place is right below my work place and also serves very decent breakfast with strong coffee and Cheerios! Just a little pricey I would say, but worth once a while!
I tried Taqado when they opened the first location a few years ago and i wasn't please with the food, but i always belive in giving new restaurants a second chance. I tried the barbacoa in a box and i loved it. The meat quality was fresh as well as the guacamole and sour cream. however the type of rice wasn't of Mexican type of rice that I'm accustomed to.
This rating based on my family feed back. They simply love it. Its looked in same building i work, been there twice but i found it ok and very Chilli. My rating goes for the Staff, Drinks and Nachos
These sweet Mexican fritters are the Best churros I've ever tasted, oh and that chocolate sauce that comes along is perfection for those crunchy churrors
They also serve mexican sodas and burrito my personal favourite is the chicken burrito cooked to perfection and flavours of having an actual Mexican burrito

New Mexican place I found and I loved it ! Though the menu is small but the food was yum! Tired the Burritos with grilled chicken with sour cream and I enjoyed it to the fullest! They also have the imported coke, which is sugar free and has sugar cane for sweetness, not a fan plus it's for 20 bucks!! Overall good place for Mexican food!
With limited items on the menu I was really confused on whether I want to go for this or not. However I was wrong. Basic items on the menu and with total freedom to choose and make your own meal, this place takes the points. I would recommend the Fajita and the burrito box. Lemon rice and their hot sauce is a good add on. Overall a good place to grab a delicious bite, in the heart of business hub.
