The location of this restaurant is right in the centre of La Mer. With very spacious seating arrangements on the ground as well as Mezz floor. Very nicely decorated interiors with Iraqi theme to give you an insight of Iraqi hospatility serving Iraqi Cusine which is very tasty and well presented, as well as super quick service from well trained servers.
The Sweet Pepper Hummus was pinkish in color due to the fusion of red peppers. This tasted very unique and it was superb when eaten with the fresh and hot bread.
The Potato Kebbeh is a very nicely made Iraqi starter with potato balls with Meat inside it. The Kebbeh tasted very delicious with the crispy potato coating. Excellent dish to be tried by all.
Bourag Chicken is a Spring roll which beats all types of spring rolls in the other restaurants. Once you try this i can bet you will not enjoy Chinese spring rolls. The Macron Cardomom is a Dessert with a very generous portion stuffed with the goodness of Macrons, Dates and Apricots. The Lotus Milk shake is a killer. Served in a tall glass with thick milk shake and very nice presentation, it is very very filling. Tasted heavenly.
We ordered Fattoush, Hommous and their famous fish 🐟.
Service was excellent, the portions were generous and tasty. I loved the Iraqi cardamom tea and homemade bread.
The food tastes amazing, the location is fabulos and the service is just fine, the only issue is the amount where it is very less comparing to the price paid.
Went for lunch today with a friend!

I have tried different cuisines, but after visiting Aghatti, Iraqi cuisine is on my top favorite ones! The location and ambiance makes it more attractive. 5-star for food and and the ambiance.

The best Arabic cuisine place that I have experienced in dubai. What great quantity for each menu item, and a quality to match. Pro tip will be to go with an empty stomach. Good grills, arayes bread and chicken biryani. The service was as good as the food.
We went today for diner with 4 persons, the staff where very welcoming.
The food was really perfect ( one of the best Iraqi restaurants in Dubai ), service is top.
They accept Zomato gold. After we paid our bill we received our eidia ( we received 50% discount voucher for our next visit + 100 aed cash ) what was a really nice surprise.

The ratings for this place are an accurate reflection of the quality of the food and service. A definitely 5/5 for food and service.
The flavors of all their food was impeccable.
What we had for 2 people:
1. complimentary garlic bread - this came with a feta dip was fresh from the oven and had generous amount of garlic and sesame seeds.
2. Red pepper hummus - creamy, tangy with a slight kick of heat. Hearty serving of bread.
3. Lamb briyani - it was on point. The meat fell off the bone and rice complemented it perfectly, flavorful yet not overpowering.
4. Grilled chicken - beautifully grilled. Light hint of smokiness on a very juicy chicken. As this came 30 minutes after the rest of our food (which they had informed us before hand), we were really full and packed most of it home. Still tasted brilliant after reheating. It was a nice touch to find out they had replaced new bread and garlic for our remaining takeaway portion.
5. Beverages - ice peached tea was fragrant and strong; fresh pomegranate juice was refreshing.
Service was attentive but not intrusive.
Price was a bit on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality. We had Zomato Gold which helped make it a bit more pocket friendly.
We're already looking forward to our next visit!
Good spacious place... with out door options that can accommodate big group of people. Nicely location with good views of La Mer from the terrace place. Nice cuisine with delicious taste... little pricey though. The staff were very polite and friendly. Overall had a good time with family. Would definitely like to be there again in future.
Wow loved it. Went for lunch. Not overly busy but more people came in after us. What a great restaurant its Iraq food. Amazing. We ordered lots of little dishes for the three of us. And it was more than enough. Try the watermelon and chesse so good and refreshing in this heat. Will definitely be back. Love trying new cuisines. 🤗🤗

Amazing ambience, food and staff. Absolutely in love with the seafood we ordered. They were served hot and fresh and cooked with mild spices yet flavorful. Portions were good to share and served beautifully.
We visited this place very randomly and never regret it. We went back 2 days later again.
The atmosphere and staff are amazing but the food is what makes this place very special.
I highly recommend the Dolma, labneh selection is beautiful, for the starter and eventhough we loved the Maqlubat Laham, you cant leave without trying their signature Masgouf fish.. well done guys.. keep it up

Amazing Iraqi food with generous portions! Ordered Maqlubat Laham with Kodar (tomato rice with Lamb), Tabsi Baitinjaan (eggplant stew), grilled meat tikka and kabab Iraqi along with pomegranate juice and lemon mint. We enjoyed all the dishes. The flavours were on point. My personal favourite was kebab Iraqi, it was juicy and grilled to perfection. The complimentary bread with dip is out of the world delicious. Going back to try the grilled fish which is their specialty. Service is extremely slow, but everything else is perfect.
I had jumbo prawns , since I'm really fond of sea food , I loved the dish it was just perfect, it was cooked to perfection and I would like to come back again
Ordered masgouf fish, it is the best fish i have tasted in a while, it was so juicy and soft and the crisp had this faint bbq taste, it was just delicious, got complimentary garlic bread and tea, the waiters and waitresses were really friendly and the ambiance on the fist floor is just amazing.

The restaurant is very large and immaculately clean with spectacular views of La Mer Dubai. It’s tastefully decorated with an upscale luxury feel, in keeping with the fine dining ambiance. There are terraced tables and out door options that can accommodate large groups and families easily. In this outlet tasting menus are not available in smaller portions, so if you want to try a wide range of dishes you have to order each full sized item individually. The fresh in house made garlic bread appetizer and cheese was very delicious. I could have eaten just that and been very happy! Jeweled with sesame and black seeds it was visually stunning. The Quozi lamb shank is New Zealand sourced and was very flavorful and tender. If you are used to this dish being served with additional sides or in a very large portion, this is not the case in this outlet. It’s exactly enough for one person in a fine dining context as shown in the picture. A very hungry person may need two orders. My dish of traditional Madgouf fish was forgotten so I did not get my meal served to me. The Bamia okra dish was very nicely presented in a pot, and was perfectly cooked without fault and delicious. The fresh tomato flavors were obvious. My watermelon Reggi wa Gibin salad looked stunning but when I tasted and enquired about preparation I was told the melon was cut since the morning. I advised the that is better to cut to order to maintain the freshest taste and returned my plate. The drink’s orders were not allowed to be changed as the system does not accommodate for any change of mind. I advise more flexibility for customers satisfaction. All juice is freshly made in house, but unfortunately my husbands drink was forgotten and arrived after his meal had finished with sincere apologies. The menu listed salted Iraqi cheese, when I enquired about unique authentic product and what that cheese is I was told it’s Feta. With out the errors and returned plates this would have been a clear 5 stars as the potential of perfect quality is there. The staff were very polite and friendly and I would certainly like to go back and sample more of the menu. I highly recommend anyone to do the same.
Great taste is something you will definitely have here. Friendly staff and quick service is also great. The only reason iam giving 4 stars is due to three quantity. I ordered the dolmah large quantity and it was good enough for one person with big appetite (like me) ;)
Good food and lovely staff. We ordered the grilled chicken and lamb chops along with Hamus and Fattoush. The chicken and lamb were tender and juicy. Cooked to perfection. I also ordered the pineapple, lychee and passion fruit drink . It was refreshing and I loved the chunky pieces of the fruit. All in all a good experience.
Visited this restaurant this evening for dinner. Weather was very nice so chose to sit in the upper deck terrace. It was a bit chilly though. The ambiance of the place was very good. The staff helpful too.
With regards to food, we really liked it - very different and nice. We ordered beetroot salad for starter which was very good. Presentation was fantastic. The bread, specially the garlic bread was different and interesting. For the main, we ordered Chicken Tikka grill and grilled jumbo prawns. Chicken was really succulent and juicy. The accompanying potato fries was different and very tasteful. Loved this dish. As for the prawns, it was just okay - nothing much to write about. The saffron rice with this dish was good though.
Overall experience good and will surely return for further items. But the prices are in the higher side - surely the location is a factor for that I guess. Missed the fish, maskuf since it would be too much for two of us to finish.

I visited Aghatti last week with my family and was incredibly satisfied. Our server, Emily, was so cheery, helpful and accommodating. She placed us next to the heater since I went with my grandparents and little brothers who were feeling very cold, recommended all the top dishes, and made sure I could take my pictures. I ordered a passionfruit mojito (first time I'd ever tried one) and it was amazing. The fattoush was pretty average. Hummus & garlic bread in starters were super tasty. The chops were below average overpriced foods the only good thing is the restaurant and the staff the food isn’t that great. The only place I would recommend is zou zou the food there is worth the price

Our experience at @aghatti Iraqi gourmet restaurant. It was the first time for me in an Iraqi restaurant, the menu is similar to the Arabic cuisine. As it’s a gourmet the standards are high and everything is well dressed and sexy in the plates.
We’ve started with cheese sambossas, rocca salad and hummus with meat - the starters are good nothing special to say about it.
Then we had maqlouba with meat - maqlouba is composed with rice with tomato sauce, meat and some veggies. The presentation is reversed. You will see in the next posts. Then we had a mix grills - loved the kabab ♥️- and eggplant okra. And to finish we had the KING (that’s why we came) the masgouf fish which is a freshwater fish you can find a lot near to Iraq 🇮🇶. The cooking of this fish is an art, not everybody can master it. This is what you see on the picture.
We had half of the fish and it was huge and a lot of meat in it. 3 people can easily share 1/2. The fish was very tasty and light , i was surprised because it was very good. And to conclude, because I never leave without eating sweets, we had a classic kunafa and a baklava with ice cream. Check my next posts you will see.
To conclude, the food is delicious, the service even better, the location and the restaurant itself is lovely and the price are a bit pricey but you pay for what you eat.

I’m sure we’ve all tried many Middle Eastern restaurants living in Dubai, but this one really is special because of my favorites/must-haves below:
Starters (avg price AED 35): One of the best things here is the complimentary bread that comes with seeds+some spices and is served with a delicious dip! Also, you cannot leave this place without trying their Zaatar Hummus (especially) and Sweet Pepper Hummus! The trio Labneh (Saffron, Zaatar and Garlic) is very different and makes for a great starter! The Batata Harra and Cheese Sambousek are regular dishes which I still love having while eating at a ME joint! If you’re big on salads, I strongly recommend the Watermelon and Feta Salad - super refreshing and delicious and looks great too!
Mains (AED 89): love love love the Iraqi Kebabs - so succulent and delicious (I loved this the best among the mixed grills that I ordered). The Dolma was not my fav but do give it a try if you like that dish!
Desserts (AED 49): The Red Velvet Fondant was very dry on the inside, hence that didn’t make the cut. But you must have the Kunafeh, Baklava Roll and Umm Ali! I’m not huge on these desserts usually, but I enjoyed it thoroughly here because of Aghatti’s unique twist!
Overall, I enjoyed everything from the stunning ambience to the brilliant food and the great service! Surely going to visit this place again!

Biryani Chicken - Roast chicken served on special cumin-infused yellow rice,topped with pine nuts,cashews & golden fried onions was rich and delish - 5/5
Mixed Grill - Mixed Grill of iraqi kabab,chicken tikka,lamb tikka & lamb chop served with fries,grilled veggies & biwaz bread.
Everything was cooked perfectly.Meat was juicy and flavorful.Lamb chop & Iraqi kabab were the best. 5/5
But we were quite disappointed with the quantity of mix grill.
Grilled Whole chicken - Whole flattened chicken marinated in special mesopotamian spices
served with fries,grilled veggies & biwaz bread.chicken was soft and full of flavors -5/5
DESSERT
Aghatti Date Pudding with home made saffron ice cream & caramel sauce - This was my favorite dessert.Saffron ice cream was delicious- 5/5
Um Ali - One of the popular middle eastern dessert made of puff pastry with milk,mixed nuts & fresh cream - 3/5
The place is well designed and decorated. We sat outside on the balcony beside the olive tree. The well trained staff made the service outstanding. The food is delicious and was generously cooked. Also the juices, shakes and cocktails are worth trying. Another good aspect is that they don't offer Shisha.
Happy to have discovered this place.. I pretty much liked the mix of the menu, The deserts were amazing!!! The lamp was to die for and the falafel wasn't oily like many other places. I really think such a concept would work in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Rak. The staff also were well trained and friendly! Thank you Aghatti

OK, I’ll admit it guys. I was pulled in by the rotating barbeque pit stationed at the front of the restaurant. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
Service was courteous and efficient. Food was served quickly.
NOTE!!!!!! The free starter of sesame crusted flatbread and cheesy tangy sundried tomato and olive dip WAS AMAZING!!! I’m crying just recalling it (and drooling, lots of drooling.) Thank you for not charging us for this dish because otherwise I would go (happily) broke ordering it day after day.
What we ordered:
1) Beetroot Salad (9/10) - generous slices of tender beetroot, the tahini and walnut really enhanced the overall flavour profile of the salad. Dressing was light.
2) Potato Kibbeh (9/10) - kibbeh with potato dough? Yes!!! What delightful mini bites of meaty goodness! I would order this again for sure.
3) Bourag Meat (6.5/10) - Iraqi spring rolls. Standard taste. Nothing special.
4) Masgouf Ghattan - Half, Regular (my rating: 3/10) (my husband’s rating: 7/10) the reason I’m giving two different ratings is because mine is rather biased. I am not fond of fishy tasting fishes. The more intense the fishy flavour the more likely I’ll run from it. But my husband liked the dish. Especially the pomegranate marinade.
5) Hummus Meat (8/10) - super creamy, super rich, super flavourful. The trifecta. Meat with pine nuts merely enhanced the overall dish. Loved this!!!
NOVEMBER 10 2018 UPDATE:
6) Grilled Chicken Tikka (9/10) - juicy, tender, flavourful, well spiced. We loved this dish. The fries that accompanied the chicken were clearly hand-cut and tasted delicious with garlic cream dip. Bravo.
7) Iraqi Kebab (6/10) - the texture of the meat was a bit tough, and the taste of sheep was very strong. Overall, not our type of kebab.
8) Baklava Sandwich (5/10) - the cardamom notes of the ice cream was way too overwhelming. The green colouring of the pastry turned me off. The dessert was not what I was expecting. But the free chai that came with the dessert to wash it down with was very thoughtful.
Will we be back? Of course!!! Next time I’ll try their grilled prawns and grilled chicken. Mmmmmm.

I am a frequent here..the iraqi kabab is simply amazing.. the grilled masgouf is awesome too...

We went in for lunch yesterday with the fam. The servers were welcoming and polite.
We ordered sweet pepper hummus, oregano thyme hummus, watermelon cheese salad and fattoush salad, jejeek and sujuk to share for appetizers.
Everything was so fresh and tasty, no complaints. The garlic bread they start you off with is fantastic with the feta dip they serve.
After which for mains, we ordered half a portion of masgouf, mixed grill, grilled prawns and tishreeb.
The grilled prawns for AED 150 was a small portion of 3 pieces but other than that everything was amazing, food wise, taste wise, presentation wise.
The service was impeccable and I think the only reason this place deserves a 4.0 is the service. The fish was bland and we probably would have enjoyed it spicy rather than regular but because it was so hot and its summer it's best to have normal with the ridiculously spicy sauce on the side.
Everything about the place was great. It's a must go!
A unique dining experience! Everything is presented beautifully and the service was excellent. I love how the food was served in small pots to keep the heat. The food itself was very delicious and authentic. The appetizers, Dolma,masgouf gattan , grills, maqlubah, delicious fresh bread, and end with Iraqi tea - the restaurant design was spot and on the roof top floor was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a unique, authentic and super tasty experience of Iraqi food, like any other restaurant you've been to! Definitely recommended and a new favorite.

its amazing iraqi gourmet restaurant , i loved what they serve like a traditional iraqi bread " Tanour " & " Samoun " , cold and hot maza , main course specialy " maqlouba " " qozi meat " really delicious and i try the buffet of iftar almost of the dishes what they have in Menu its already there, so for the people who's they want to try the iraqi food i recommend iftar buffet with 199 AED its really very nice offer 🤩.

I loved the food we ordered.
We had rocket salad, humus with lamb and ghee, babaganoush. All food was so delicious specially humus with lamb and ghee was simply out of the world.
They also serve Iranian breads with pickles complimentary which were fresh and soft.
Ambience 5 out of 5.
Service is super fast and amazing, Staff is so polite, humble and helpful.
Highly recommended.

This is the second time for me coming here , just wanted to say that the fish is amazing . I was thinking about this all the past month to come back . The special thanks to the Tin , super professional , attentive , polite . For the second time we got complimentary sweets. The chef , manager come and asked us about everything are we satisfied or no . And in general the design of the restaurant , all the details are nice . And of course tasty food.

An awesome place to go to, located in La Mer on the beach, offers indoor and outdoor dining options. The food, service and ambiance make it a must visit, fine dining Resteraunt. Their slow charcoal grilled fish is probably the best choice, mixed grill is also a good option. Pricey but definitely worth it.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients. The red pepper hummus and the fattoush were a nice twist on the traditional, and the fish was very tender.
Aghatti is the nearest thing to an Iraqi fine dining restaurant. Located in La Mer North, it’s interior is beautifully decorated, and far more upmarket to Samad and Kabab Erbil Iraqi in Jumeirah 2. I love the live olive tree in the middle of the restaurant, a trend which seems to be picking up.
Visited few days back while walking at LaMer. Aghatti serve Iraqi food specially the fish which they cooked on charcoal.
We welcomed with Lovely smile by lady at reception. We opt for outdoor seating. The waiter was very helpful.

مطعم عراقي اكله ممتاز جداً. والخدمة ممتازة واجوائه رائعة. الطاقم خدومين وبشوشين. يوجد جلسات خارجية وجلسات في الاعلى. قوزي اللحم ممتاز 👌🏼 والدولمه 10/10 بصراحه اغلب الاطباق والاصناف جيده جداً. الاسعار اعلى من المتوسط قليلاً. وكعادة المطاعم العراقيه والشوربة قبل الاكل والشاي بعده (ضيافة). 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
