We popped in for business lunch on a lazy afternoon! The restaurant was not too crowded. We loved the upscale décor and ambience. But what we shall be returning for is the food! Each and every item left us wanting more. My favourite was the pan seared scallops (melted in the mouth and cooked to perfection) and the Lobster Burrata salad (only wish there was more). We had dessert too and the Panna Vita was exquisite. Highly recommended 👍
This place is really for special occasions,if you want surprise someone take him to Marea DIFC, all dishes like a piece of art ,so many different tastes and ingredients. This restaurant has a right to call themselves Michelin Star ⭐️ Restaurant.
One of the best Italian restaurant in DIFC and Dubai itself. Awesome grilled octopus and artichoke salad. Delicious beef tartare.

We had tuna tartare, beef carpaccio and the chef send us yellow tail as well , The main course was sea food pasta and scallops and all dishes were very tasty,

Oysters- 10/10. Definitely try these as startere. They are fantastic.
Beef tartare- 10/10 . Yummy and juicy with mushrooms.
Artichoke salad- 8/10 . Presentation could have been better but tasted yummy.
Bream and lentils-7/10 i personally dint like it ao much but my friend likee it a lot. So it is based on ones preference.
Fettucini and duck sausage-10/10. Absolutely fantastic. Do try them.
Angnolotti and veal- 8/10. Again presentation could have been better. Tasted good though.
Scallops-10/10 - very very tasty.
I will definitely visit again although its a bit pricey.
Went there for dinner with friends and the business lunch too with my colleagues, both the times we were more than content. The food is well balanced and tasty. The cocktails are amazing too very refreshing and the service was fantastic.

We went to try dessert and it was not only extremely pretty but was drool worthy delicious!
The ambience was just cool, comfortable, relaxed and lovely.
The staff was extremely polite and helpful.
Keeping in mind the location and the service you can't really blame the price, it was worth it I would say !

We make no secret of the fact that our taste in food leans more Asian than European, but when New York’s two-starred Marea arrived in town, we figured it was probably worth making the trip to check it out. (Ok, it may have taken us a little while to get there but all that counts is that we got there in the end, right?)
How creative can it get. The dessert ball was beautiful!! I personally dint feel like eating it. It was topped with hot chocolate melting it from the center. Flavors were perfectly balanced. The ambience is very smoothing. Staff is extremely friendly.
Great lunch spot in the DIFC, lots of delicious options especially for a business lunch. The food is consistently good, and great service - particularly rate the seafood, and especially recommend the octopus.
Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Dubai. Their homemade pastas are amazing. The crudos are all so fresh. And yummy. Highly recommend!

Back in Dubai for a bit, I was more than happy to accept an invitation to lunch at Marea, which has long been on my list of restaurants to visit. For those who remember, Marea operates where Totora (RIP) used to be located. Marea has maintained the same upstairs/downstairs areas as before, although the installation of an elevator is a smart touch for anyone with mobility issues. There is a chic bar upstairs, and the downstairs remains the lounge (and where the toilets are located). The area now also includes a private dining room.
The menu gave many options, the service was very good , the food delicious and the staff friendly and knowledgeable about the food
What I didn’t like is that it was over priced we were 3 ladies and shared 2 appetizers and 2 main and 2 desserts , non alcoholic drinks and paid around 580dhs per person
I also didn’t like the ambience, it was nice but not nice enough to qualify as fine dinning maybe it was the way the tables were distributed !! One of my favorite dishes was the grilled shrimps
I went last night with my friend to have dinner the newly opened Italian restaurant in DIFC called Marea. Marea is located at Gate Village 7 in DIFC in the City of Happiness Dubai. At the original Marea New York, the authentic, bracing flavors of coastal Italy meet the swagger of New York to form a new kind of gusto.
We went here for dinner. It's amazing place and the food is too delicious. Do try the cocktails downstairs, it's world class and too good. The food was authentic italian and fresh. Risotto and pasta was just out of the world. Dessert was icing
on the cake especially the caramel scoop was the best one till date.
The food was absolutely delicious, service was great, we took our waiters recommendations on what to order, and we were glad we did.

Went to this place during its soft opening. The staff were really friendly and the chef was super kind that he made an exception making a non-alcoholic tiramisu since we were celebrating a birthday.

Have been in Marea during Ramadan, so had a privilege to enjoy whole the attention of the staff, cuz we were the only guests over there. At first sight the place looks nice, romantic deemed light, cool temperature and pleasant smell. The restaurant is from NY, Italian cuisine, pasta is their specialty, also they consider themselves as a fish restaurant, but up the requirements from their guests have implemented some meat dishes, which is nice. Once we arrived, we were welcomed nicely and seated immediately. Got useful suggestions from the waiter, also sommelier was very helpful and professional, however the bottle of champagne, we ordered as an aperitif was not that cold, as expected. As a starter I got grilled octopus, the presentation was good with deep and bright seafood taste, soft texture and crispy crust, very “Italian” dish👌🏻The portion quite big, so might be shared between two. While waiting for the main dish, we got a nice surprise from Chef Yunus, complimentary penne with truffles, which was just fantastic: the texture was “al dente”, the temperature was proper, the portion of sauce was generous, with lots of fresh Italian truffles on top, absolutely “Comme il faut”! Bravo Chef!
As a main dish I have chosen (up to the recommendation) grilled Dover Sole, which was excellent, chef kept proper texture, it was solid but was almost melting in the mouth, the well balanced taste was a bit sweet with delicate flavor nuance. Garnished with breaded broccolini, crispy outside and crunchy inside, it was excellent tandem. Traditional tiramisu was just a cherry on top of it. I really enjoyed the dinner, ambiance and service. Besides I liked the interior of the restaurant and fancy elevator, to go to the washroom, which was cozy and clean. As a conclusion I would definitely recommend Marea for romantic dinners, special occasions and business lunch, if you are rich of course, cuz it’s a bit pricy.

Amazing upscale restaurant in a very beautiful area of Dubai. Food is absolutely delicious with many choices to choose from. We got 4 pastas dishes that was amazing.
(The best one was the one filled with veal) the service was beyond compare and for sure will make a revisit!!
