Had Visited this restaurant located in the busy street of Meena Bazaar quite a number of time. This time had ordered for home delivery on a weekend to have a late breakfast. Had ghee sambhar idly which was soft and delicious and rasa vada with hot filter coffee. Service was quick as delivery reached before time.
This is a staple place in the neighborhood. Although it’s not the cheapest south indian place you can find in the area but the quality of food is quite good so its well worth the price specially if going with family there is a lot of seating area and good ambience
This is the best place to have south Indian food in Dubai. Look at the fancy banana leaf style plates. I just love coming here again and again. The beat is their authenticity and service which is really fast. I do recommend this place if you'd like to have a best restaurant.
Visited this branch for lunch. Ordered the ghee roast, paper dosa, rava dosa and my all time favorite filter coffee . All of them tasted good, quite filling and super reasonable .
Good south Indian food in a foreign land is always welcome! We love Saravana bhuvan, good choice of thali and dosa both during lunch time.
We've been visiting the restaurant for years. It's tradition to dine her for breakfast over the weekends. Everything is fresh and delicious. This time, however, we decided to go and have their thali. The restaurant as usual was packed, but we managed to find a table. I'd recommend going in early to avoid such instances. If you've not visited them, you're definitely missing out!
I order food regulalry on weekends. Saevana has never disappointed with their delivery time or food quality. Different kind of chutney sent with the food is delicious.
Last week the onion tomato uthpam was very thick, hence not cocked fully. Hope they improve on the feedback.
Like the other branches in Dhabi and the rest of the Middle East the food is fresh and tasty. A must visit for those nostalgic about the classic Indian dosas and filter coffees!
A must visit place for good south indian food. Its not a fine dining restaurant but it surely serves great south indian food. Loved idli sambar and mix uttapam . Also, rava onion masala dosa was really good!
when i want to eat masala dosa I will be going to sarvanaa bhavan. Their masala dosa crispy and big. Good for vegetarian cuisin. Thier chole bhature also good.
I was Craving for some crispy dosa so came here and I absolutely loved masala dosa and rawa dosa. They serve dosa with three chutneys and sambhar. Dosa was crispy and chutneys were flavorful. Sambhar was perfect spicy,tangy and not so watery.
We ordered thali also and it was amazing. I loved the sweet pongal and no oil paratha very much.
We had some refreshing watermelon juice and mango lassi as well.
Budget friendly restaurant and service is good.
I had dosa from here which came along with some 4 chutneys and sambar. The food was good and so is the place. I loved their dosa- and it is worth the 10 Dhs spent. They have a wide variety of dosas which I would love to try out someday.
Early morning breakfast with a friend went well.
I've always loved their Dosas and Poori Bhaji for years now. Hence, we ordered the same.
The chai wasn't the best, which was a bit upsetting as I usually love their morning tea.
Nonetheless, it will always be my fav breakfast place when I'm craving for South Indian cuisine.

A nice casual place to get some good vegetarian food in Meena Bazaar.
Customer service was good, upstairs family area was slightly congested since most tables/chairs tend to be very close to one another. Took some extra time for them to get the order to our table too. Tried out:
1. Paneer Butter Masala: good taste, sufficient quantity of paneer pieces as well as good quantity gravy. Ideal quantity for one or max two people. Value for money at AED 17!
2. Mushroom Rogan Josh: a pleasant surprise at the combination; mushroom mixed with the roganjosh flavored gravy is a good dish to have with any of the Indian breads. Ideal quantity for one or max two people. Worth it at AED 16!
3. Ghee roast: perfectly crisp dosa with four accompaniments (chutney, Sambar etc.). Tasted 👌🏻. Price tag of AED 12.50 well worth it.
4. Paneer Stuffed Naan: soft, served hot and as two halves, reasonably sized and a good bread to go with most curries. Slightly over priced at AED 7!
5. Aloo Paratha: served as a whole, soft and flavorful. Good accompaniment to most dishes.
6. Paratha: the usual 🙂
For the food quality and taste along with their customer service - this restaurant gets the top vote! They can improve general cleanliness a bit more though. But you get what you paid for!
The hustle bustle and your bargaining efforts will definitely burn lot of energy whenever you are visiting Meena Bazaar, secondly the streets offers at least something to everyone roaming here, so you wouldn't be able to stop yourself even in scorching heat of a typical Dubai sun.
Though their are lot of options for food and beverages from across the globe, a pure vegetarian have to search for it.
And the search ends at very easy to find Sarvanana Bhavan outlet. Their is no difference in world class taste aroma and quality of the South Indian food offered by this outlet . It's like same what they offer in Chennai and the moment you enter here immediately you reaches to Chennai with the music played in this outlet. Yes the Mridungam gives a treat to your ears...
Finally do not mis the coffee or tea here...:)
Saravanaa is popular whereever it is in the world but my favourite is this branch along the bend of the creek in Bur Dubai whose food is spicier and fresher perhaps as a result of the large number of patrons with their thick Dosas the crispest I've tasted. Worth the picturesque ferry ride across the creek to eat here. Delicious!
Must try the beetroot dosa . It is delicious and a great healthy option for your growling tummy.
We also ordered for the Mysore masala dosa , which was good .
The mushrooms with fried coconuts had a bitter taste to it cause of the fried coconut . Won’t recommend it .

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the restaurant itself is amazing looking as they recently renovated their place. There aren’t any complaints at all. The food is more than reasonably priced or I’d rather call it cheap but don’t let the word cheap guide you into thinking the quality and taste would be not up to your expectations. The food is very tasty, the quantity is amazing and no compromise in quality either. There is a lot of variety in the menu and regardless of what you order, you won’t be disappointed.
They so many veg options on the menu. the prices are also good.
Nice authentic South Indian options. Test is quite good similar to Sankalp. Good to get such food in Dubai. Ambiance is not that good like Indian good restaurants.
perfect place to have hot hot breakfast. just be there before 11 coz they are extremely strict about their timings,
the place is neat clean and always crowded but the service is fast.
i love their mini breakfast meal and coffee.

went many times for breakfast here. it is an authentic South Indian vegetarian restaurant. I have had masala dosa and filter coffee. crispy dosa and tomato and pudeena chatni was nice too . Simple ambience and and friendly staffs of course this is best place to get filter coffee in Dubai
Better than most of the south Indian restaurants in Dubai. The part I love the most is it hot piping kara dosa which has a spicy potato filling inside it. The filter coffee here is amazing and something to look forward to at the end of the meal. This place is usually very crowded and the staff is always in a rush but nevertheless the food bought to your table is fresh and hot.
It is a fine good place serving the traditional south India cuisine in Dubai. Wife felt like having some masala dosa for a change and i thought I'll splurge on some badam shake.
Typically all outlets have great service and this one turned out to be full with nice people. The Dosa was crisp from outside and the inner masala was really good. Idli Sambhar tasted just superb, with the sambhar having the right amount of spiciness to it.
The seat alongside the window helped with the view and I drank the fruit juice with my wife also sharing the fun. We still have a photograph of that moment, a loud smile on our face while we drank the juice using the straws.
Overall, this is a nice place which serves great south Indian cuisine.
Amazing place friendly staff and nice aroma in the restaurant. Menu is typical southern style. Ordered mini tiffin and rava Dosa. Had filter coffee. All of the dishes were delicious. Hot sambar was mouth watering. Pongal was good and last the sheera tasted awesome. Value for money. Worth visiting the place.
Visited this restaurant during my recent vacation to Dubai along with my family. Being pure vegetarians we visited here and never turned disappointed during our stay in Dubai.The same standards we expect from them is maintained even abroad..
Even miles away from India i found the best south indian restaurant in Dubai. I had ordered Ghee roast and panner dosa. The place serves amazing south indian food at reasonable price. Staff is friendly and kind too.
Good and reasonably priced place for south indian food, situated near Meena Bazar.Yesterday visited around 8 pm, easily got a seat.Ordered a rava masala dosa and appam .Dosa was served with 3 types of chutney,mint, coriander and tomato,appam was served with chutney and veg korma,it total cost less than 20 AED,value for money,and recommended.
As same as the outlet in any part of the world or should I say as good as..... typical taste of the whole menu. Heaven for pure vegetarians. Especially in Dubai if you are on tour

We had the South Indian Thalis. It was tasty different flavors and filling as well. the staff were nice and friendly and the place inside is nice with a good ambiance

It was quite good, a little better than other braches according to me, I really enjoyed the food here 😋
We had the Mysore Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa & Idli Vada Set.
Must say all these items were amazing and you must try 👏🏼
