Trattoria Dubai is located in Madinat Jumeirah and serves an excellent brunch from 12 to 6pm
every Friday and Saturday. Their brunch is a four course meal with unlimited beverages.
.
The first course includes an array of starters like fresh mozerella cheese, beef tartar, fried calamari and shrimps and Arancini Di RICO which are deep fried rice balls with bolognese and Parmesan. Absolutely delicious!
.
The second course is pasta and there is a good variety to choose from. We choose the Cheesy carbonara, spicy shrimp Risotto and beefy bolognese.
.
The third course is build your own pizza. Where they serve the base and toppings to choose from right on your table.
The fourth course was dessert. We choose fresh gelato and a lava cake. The chocolate lava cake was a perfect balance of bitterness from the coffee and sweetness from the ice cream. It’s the perfect way to spend your weekend over chilled drinks and good food.
A cosy, intimate place with a lovely view. Every single dish served was great. The perfect place for a low-key date. The tiramisu was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Friendly chef too!
Food was better than average, but not excellent. Service was ok, but also not excellent. Staff saw us walking in with two small children but it did not occur to them to bring child seats until specifically asked. And that happened two times in a row.
Desire to come back: 3/5
Amazing food
Great service
Zahid was exceptional!!!
Ioved the place, and the hospitality
Grazie mille for the delicious Tiramisu and making the occasion so special
Parmigiana di melanzame remind me with verona

“Pasta La Vista “
Happy to share that there’s an excellent promotion happening at one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Dubai, I’ve always loved their food & the excellent views as it’s located by the bank in madinat jumeirah and is a perfect place for a date night or taking guests and visitors.
Now the promotion is for “International Pasta Day” when you order the two pastas that are a part of the promotion you get to try something unique as they’re not a part of the menu and also get to take the pasta & recipe card home to make try it at home.
We had a Vitello Tonato as indicated by the name is poached veal with some tuna on top and delicious Italian seasoning, it was a generous portion and was a great discovery apart from the usual, Buratta, Carpaccio, Tuna Tartare & Calamari which are all highly recommended.
They’ve really nice sharing boards, if you’re in the mood to spend some time with the friends & have with juice ! 😉😊
For mains the two dishes from the Orichette & Torfeo pastas, one had beef the other shrimp. Both were again generous portions & great value for money & off course unique in taste.
You’ve to save room for desserts cause you can’t leave an Italian place without some Tiramisu.
Please see my videos for more on my dining experience!

A great place to get your authentic Italian cravings. Elegant without being too formal, service is first quality, with kind and knowledgeable personnel.
I started my meal with Antipasto, its a selection of Deep fried rice balls, Bruschetta bread with tomatoes, Tuscan Chicken liver pâté and Beef meatballs. It's a great choice and good for sharing.
Mozzarella Bufala and Burratta Perlage, both are delicious and you would not go wrong having either of them.
Pizza Toscana was pretty good and perfectly cooked.
Calamarata Al Sugo Di Mare(seafood pasta) came with a fair share of all seafood creatures as seen in the menu. The best thing about the dish was the mixed seafood sauce.
I loved the Panna Cotta and Tortino Caldo that were offered after mains, so good!
Last thing, I appreciated their commitment of not using plastic straw to their drinks as help to the environment.
Absolutely worth the visit. Will definitely comeback for sure.
Food
Starters:
Calamari
Maincourse:
Vegetariana Pizza
Risotto con Asparagi
Desserts:
Gelato Icecream- Butter scotch
Panna Cotta
Ambience: Promenade restaurant but due to humid summers, didn't try outdoors. Inside comfortable seating with live kitchen.
Food: Calamari was good
However Pizza was very average with little vegetable and hard base, didn't feel finishing it(which I rarely do,🥕🤪)
Risotto was better but again not upto the standards of the price.
Desserts: Gelato was standard but Panna Cotta was one which gave them extra 🌟
Overall Food 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 3/5- need an effort ...
Location gets a 5 star and food gets a 4.5.. we tried their margherita pizza, vegetariana pizza, tomato soup and trofie liguri.. the pizzas were pretty good and highlight for us was the trofie liguri (Pesto based pasta).
Celebrated my birthday at Trattoria Toscana but we didn’t go for the conventional pizza and pasta menu...this we tried their seafood platter instrad...it was a generous serving and was really good! 👍😜👍
I ordered mushroom soup and Cheese pizza, food was nice and service is excellent. The best thing i found is the location of the restaurant *****.
The place is amazing nice view great vibes the food was fresh i ordered pizza with ham and pasta with walnut sauce both were great the only concern the is the price higher than the portion but overall good experience
We really enjoyed our dinner at Trattoria. Warm ambiance and nice view of Burj El Arab. The gnocchi and pizza are delicious. The best tiramisu I have ever had!
Enjoy Rare Black Truffle at Trattoria Toscana – Dubai’s Most Gorgeous waterfront Italian dining destination. Blogliterati.com had an opportunity to try out an exquisite menu this week in the gorgeous restaurant as Head Chef Antonio Iacovelli curated an exclusive seasonal menu especially for the season.
Highly craving some #yummy #pasta & had to end up @trattoriatoscanadubai @soukmadinatjumeirah for authentic #Italiancuisine 😋 #capelletti with stuffed #braised #veal & creamy walnut sauce did get me going but twas the #shrimprisotto that closed the deal😍 Just the right amount of creaminess & full on flavorful aromatic #spices. Apparently, the #tiramisu is to die for..can't wait to head back!
P.S: @entertainergcc zindabad for mains😆

The house wine is real bargain, which is more cheaper than most of the restaurants in souk. Our table is just next to river, very good view and ambiance. Very enjoyable. Only the pasta is too chewy. I prefer it more soft and well done. Nest time I’ll not forget to remind the waitress about this.
It was my first visit to Trattoria Toscana. We had multiple main courses and an appetizer. First of all, the service is amazing, whether the professionalism or even the friendliness of the staff. The view is nice, and food was nice in general, however I give a big applause to whoever cooked the lasagna and steak in particular. Thank you trattoria toscana.
It’s a beautiful restaurant with warm staff. Great music and ambiance. Refreshing Strawberry Mock tail, Soups, Pasta and Choco lava cake are a must have if you visit.
We had the burata and bruschetta for starters and margherita pizza, veg pizza, lasagne and chicken pasta for mains. All were great but the burata stood out, it was creamy, rich and delicious. The service was exceptionally attentive as we were quite a nosiy group but they got our order bang on and food out in timely manner. The ambience was great and the restaurant is located in one of the prettiest hotels in Dubai. Recommended.
First time we love the place, food was amazing, great atmosphere, perfect views, service is good.
Second time we where a bit disappointed, as menu was changed and new items where that good.
Still we love that place and will try it out again.
I’ve lived in Dubai a little over 4 years but the amount of restaurants I’ve seen open and close within the span of one year alone is plain heartbreaking. I mean gosh it must be hard in this saturated market to stay relevant when there’s over 10,000 restaurants in Dubai to eat at. You could literally eat at a new place everyday and not even get bored.
Usually the sweet and sour onion is served on top of the striploin but you can ask them to put it in the side the same way I did. It was tender and yummy. Speak Your Mind Cancel reply. Sign me up for the newsletter!. Social media & sharing icons powered by UltimatelySocial. %d bloggers like this:
Trattoria Toscana is a casual family dining restaurant at Madinat Jumeirah with canal views and homely interior. I thought the ambiance was befitting the Italian way and gives a vibe of a family-friendly atmosphere. There’s outdoor seating as well with an amazing view. For starters, we got a bucket of deep fried crispy calamari, shrimps, and zucchini with a spicy dip and a platter of mixed starters which was great for sharing. The meatballs were outstanding!
I’ve had one absolutely delicious pizza here with great beer and they great view.
Absolutely enjoyed it. Plus staff are quite polite nice and friendly. We went there quite late when there was not many customers and yet they were so friendly and fast and really helpful.
I would recommend it for the great view; and the great service; and the polite and friendly staff; and last but not the least the great taste of food.
End you day with a tasty Italian food from @trattoriatoscanadubai with a perfect waferfront terrace when you head to @madinatjumeirah🌅
.
~ I recommend the burrata and the angus striploin with sweet and sour onion sauce! It was really delicious!
I visited this restaurant along with my friends couple of times. The outdoor of this restaurant has amazing view. We ordered the same dish which is called Risotto Al porcini every time due to the amazing taste of this dish. The only downside is that, they keep reducing the amount of pine nuts & truffle on the top. The Tortino dessert doesn’t worth a try, because the icecream is over melted, and the paper underneath the cake is pointless. The environment & food quality is great, however the service is average.
Food 4/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 4/5
I like the place where they make you feel the origin of the cuisine, the music and interior, even the staff they talk Italian 😄 the seating outside is very cheerful, you can sit for hours.. specially when you’re enjoying the food.
I liked the starter, I do respect the restaurant whose taking care of the starter:) the pasta and the pizza where yummy, tried the bresaola pizza, and seafood spaghetti, the sauce was so good, balanced flavors and tasty.
Definitely recommended..
Very nice place in a very nice setting.Their service is very friendly and fast.We ordered pasta and pizza. I personally loved their pizza more.Definitely worth a shot again.
One of the most popular and delicious Italian restaurant in Dubai. A must visit if you are looking for pasta and pizza. Food is fresh and well served.
Highly recommended
A night date would be perfect here! The bresaola pizza is very tasty 😋 the pasta’s are great too! And the location is outstanding with the veiw of burj al arab

+4.5
Good place although most of the time the restaurant is so busy. Awesome italian cuisine and their Profiteroles Al Caramello E Banana is the best choice for dessert.
Want to know a place where you can a enjoy a beautiful date with your better half while looking at the beauty that surrounds you. I know just the place for you. Based in the heart of Madinat Jumeirah, while having some scrumptious Italian food and looking at the water boats that surround you and of course how could I miss the view of Burj Al Arab which would be in your line of sight.
For starters had some lovely Burrata Salad, which comes with this big Burrata mozzarella cheese accompanied by some crisp cherry tomatoes and olives. Real freshness was emanating from it if you ask me. The next divine delicacy tries were given the name of Arancini di Riso. The dish is made by deep frying the mixture of saffron rice & mozzarella. topped with some Salsa Verde dip. Feeling the cheese melt in your mouth accompanied by some awesome flavors of Saffron rice, was definitely worth it.
For the main course had some gold old, traditional homemade pasta. A red gravy Spaghetti pasta with chicken pieces. A good mixture for sure. Also tried their Verdure PIzza, A vegetable pizza made with some eggplants, bell papers, tomatoes & zucchini. making up the basic Italian vegetarian pizza. Really loved the homely Italian feel in the food they served. They do have an option of serving gluten-free pizza as well.
Well, who on this earth, actually dares to enter an Italian restaurant, and leave without stuffing their face with some Tiramisu cake. Well, not me, for sure. I would never commit such a grave crime, EVER.
So tried some of their Tiramisu cake and as expected it pleased my taste buds A LOT.
Loved it. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to have such awesome food in such a lit surrounding.
Had one of their mocktails called "Porto de Principe" a blend of pineapple, mango, orange & lemon juice, with some awesome blossom strawberry puree. Now the sweetness and sourness combined always makes me very happy and so did this drink. SUPER.
We visited Trattoria couple of times till now food was always great my favorite is pizza there. View is also amazing definitely will be back :)
Got a nice table by the water body at this restaurant and rummaged through the menu to find limited vegetarian options.
For drinks called for the house wine which was quite harsh and would not recommend. Lemonade was refreshing. Bread basket with dips served were fresh.
Since we were in the mood for garlic bread requested for it and were told it is made on special request and served in the size of pizza. It was quite bland though the bread tasted very fresh.
Penne Arrabiata well cooked was quite a delight and was the highlight of the meal. Service was delightful. Worth visiting to enjoy a decent meal with a great view.
One from the best places for pizza in Dubai. High quality of the ingredients. Really friendly (but a bit slow) staff. I’ve been there already a few times and will come back again for sure soon.
If you’re a lover of a real Italian pizza you are in a good place 😊
They managed to seat me and my friends next to the water, the view was amazing.
The food is really good to be honest a true Italian restaurant, but the service was slow a little bit, our food was delayed because we added some Prawns to the pasta, and the girl that was serving us told us that its a special request, what special about adding only prawns to the pasta!!!!
But over all i really loved it and am definitely going back again.
Best thing about this place is the location at the lakes of madinat jumeirah . Ambiance is great, and view is amazing . Food is also good but service is a bit slow ..
The location is calm and peacecul with a great view overlooking Burj al Arab.
Food is average.
Service is always verg slow.
Overall it is acceptable.
Beautiful location in Madinat Jumeirah.
Is an Italian restaurant with several Tuscany choices. I had a panzanella and branzino with lemon risotto.
The food is in average.
Very nice affogato al caffè as the dessert
Trattoria Toscana an italian restaurant known for its spciality pastas and pizza so me and my friends decided to give it a try. Since we all vegetarian we ordered the special house white wine along with Buffalina pizza , rissoto al Porcini,Penne Al Arrabbiata and Melanzane all Parmiciana. The food and the wine was just perfect and my favourite dish was Melanzane all Parmiciana made in fried eggplants , basil , parmesan , tomato sauce and smoked mozerella. The ambience of the place is amazing especially during this season when you like to sit outdoor and staff service was satisfactory. Their prices are reasonable for the overall experience with your friends and family. I definately recommend this place.
Perfect timing: before and around sunset for lunch by the water and watch the sunset.
Food: everything's good, nothing super out of this world but you leave generally happy
Service: super slow!
Recommendations:
1. Seafood grilled platter: grilled fresh and yummy. Enough for 3 !
2. Bresaola pizza : 7.5/10
3. Burrata 😁😁
Good views of Burj al arab. The food was ok all in all, I loved the mushroom risotto. Smoking area available if you'd like to smoke a cigar with your wine.
Located in the admist of the stunning waterways of Souk Jumeirah, a casual lunch was made picture perfect with magnificent views, rustic interiors and some authentic Italian food.
A perfect place to relish in some authentic Italian Delicacies. We ordered some of their signature dishes, the gourmet pizza( Pizza Toscana - A must have), AntiPasto Trattoria Toscana ( A sharing starter platter ) with the pasta dish and one grilled chicken dish with an ultimate favourite Risotto Con Camberi (highly recommend this one) paired with some refreshing Mojitos, Porto Del Princi and Verdello!
For desserts, we ordered the Chocolate lava cake and Banana Profiteroles!! We recommend the Lava Cake (An absolute bliss)
Verdict: It’s a lovely place for a lunch or an early dinner date with good view and comfort food options!!
The thing I loved the most about this place is the view , they are located in the heart of Madent Jumerah with great view at the water
We ordered many dishes shown in the pictures but our favorite was the prawns Risotto and the pizza
The prices was a bit above expectations but to be honest that is how Madint Jumerah restaurants are.
The Ambiance was good , however i would have preferred some live music
Friendly staff
Excellent choice for vegetarians. All dishes were fresh, hot and so flavorful. Completely worth every dirham. Looking forward to the next visit.
Pricey but decent Italian food on offer here. The calzone is ridiculously large. The pizza was tasty and the mocktails are impressive. It's a nice place to sit outside on the water when the weather isn't too hot.
When comes to pasta&pizza Trattoria Toscana is not bad, all is fine, pizza taste good but too much noise, in any case they are busy mean successful! Need more staff to keep costumers happy, waited for quite long till someone pay attention to my empty wine 🍷 glass 😏 in general they are friendly
We wanted to make our anniversary special and decided to enjoy some good Italian food and Toscana was the perfect choice. The yummy bruschetta and calamari started us off on the right track with a mocktail that was sweet and sour with mango, strawberry n a twist of pineapple and lime. The Mushroom Risotto we ordered was delicious and worked very well with a glass of Merlot and the Beef Cappelletti with the creamy walnut sauce filled us up to the brim. For dessert we had a slice of Chocolate Lava Cake which rounded off the night on a high note. Shoutout for the great welcome and service at the place. Will be back for more.
Pizza Toscana...out of this world...truffle and beef were soooo goood!! Carpaccio and crispy calamari were so good...also the bread with olive paste and parmesan u get at the beginng
Would go there again for the food and view
Superb Italian food in the heart of Souk Madinat! They have a creamy burrata with tomato based sauce 😍 also ordered beef bresaola I was dinning with my colleague who happens not to eat beef so they customized and separate the beef for me how nice of them actually.
If one of the world’s most beautiful women credits her beauty to spaghetti, why haven’t we come up with a pasta diet yet? And so was my excuse last Saturday, as I indulged in not one but a total of 9 decadent pasta creations by artisanal Head Chef Antonio Lacovelli at Trattoria Toscana.
This casual and family-friendly restaurant was buzzing on Thursday night. We got there by an abra, added excitement and fun. Due to inside sitting only this hot time of the year, it felt a little crammed but otherwise cosy. We shared an antipasti for 2, loaded with hams, cheese, and pickles. Followed by a beautiful capriciosa pizza with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Wine selection was very decent. In short, had a fab meal and great time!
Good food, buzzing atmosphere. Over crowded at times but good service and best pizza in town. Excellent hospitality by well trained staff members
