This is the best Vegetarian Indian restaurant in Dubai!! Everything were beyond our expectations. Highly recommend!! The staff Mr. Sethepathi was great 👍 very accommodating and professional. I guess maybe he's the manager or something. The food were super delicious especially fried mushrooms were the best!! You must try!! Vegetable butter masala was yummy!! We love that curry most. Paneer and spinach curry was also nice. All food was rich taste but not heavy. We asked make it spicy but less oil. They are very flexible. Our last dish was hot chai tea and Indian hot coffee😉Both were so sweet but delicious. It's good experience of Indian style. When we leave the restaurant, there almost occupied by customers. We're super full and satisfied then the bill was only around 150AED. Amazing!! We'll definitely back again soon😋

To start with we ordered medu vada, idli sambhar dip, later added masala dosa, pongal, rava masala dosa, onion uttapa, idli chutney and filter coffee with tea..The food is too good in quantity as well as quality.. Ordered “WHEAT DOSA” which includes chutni and sambar. The food packaging is clean and it was delivered hot. I enjoyed eating it as you can smell and taste the spices. Wheat dosa is really good, yummy and will fill your stomach. I think the sambar is made of mashed squash its really delicious and not so spicy. Keep up the good work. 👌👌👌

The ambiance is regular south indian restaurant, we ordered south indian thali which was unlimited & very reasonably priced at 18 AED , The thali had lot of dishes alongwith chaas & rice. It all tasted super delicious & we all had more than our appetite. The only drawback faced was the order taking waiter dint know a word of hindi & english & so it became a little too difficult to inquire or say things. Overall a highly recommended restaurant if one is looking for south indian food.

Saravanaa Bhavan has so many branches around not only UAE but the world that you know you can expect a certain quality and taste for the food and it never disappoints. On my last visit I ordered the mini tiffin which had 5 mini idlis, one small masala dosa, one vada, small serving of upma and small serving of halwa. I liked everything except that food was not piping hot and the dosa was not crisp enough. I guess the restaurant was busy so I can chalk this oversight to that. I will definitely keep going back to Saravanaa Bhavan whenever I am craving South Indian food.

A lot of you would think that a brand like Sarvana Bhavan would be like just the ultimate for vegetarians, but this is UAE, my dear veggies. Manage your expectations to be happy. I have been to almost every Sarvana Bhavan in this region and every where I it is just about mediocre in taste. There is nothing extra ordinary in any of their dishes - be it their thalis or a la carte menus that include Dosas, idlis wadas etc Even the service is less than prompt but the ambiance is good , it gives the fine dine wali feel. Overall, don;t expect sun and the moon here even from the biggest of the brands and you will be happy

It was the worst vegetarian experience ever. Got in with few guests and turned really bad. Served very undercooked idly and vada... Vada was not even having any spices herbs or flavors... Once we told it's undercooked restaurant guys were super easy deducted it from the invoice straight... It's not at all a recommended space for those who know the south indian flavors and for those who wanna try... There's a lot nicer places around...

Order : Ghee roast - was really good Channa Bhatura - bhatura was very fluffy and liked it very much , chana was average. Bun poratta - was served with same chana but it was flop in our order. I guess sarvana bhawan is just encashing there brand name now. There is no taste in food. They delivered food after 1.5 hours to me and despite of ordering multiple items they will deliver you just one box of sambar which is not sufficient for one item. They just serve relatively cheap things. I believe zomato should stop taking orders for sarvana bhawan. Coz dis place will serve you lunch by evening snacks time dat too cold and tasteless. They dont know how idli dosa tastes. Sambhar was like some half cooked dal. Worst place. Dont eat from here ever.

This is the paradise for South Indian Veg food. Have dined & ordered take away from here a lot of times and never been disappointed with the food. Their breakfast thali is must try, it gives a peek into the options that you can have. This time around ordered(take away) their veg biryani. It was as expected, delicious! Its more of pulao style & their quantity is limited to 1 person(like 450gms) a plate of biryani served with raita(generous portion here). Their dry snacks are also a must-try!

Food & Drinks: I am a huge dosa fan! Went to Saranaa Bhavan today to try their ghee roast masala dosa with masala separate. It is a very very crispy dosa with great taste. They chutneys’ and masala however are basic and don’t really add up to the taste. We also ordered two coffees which were nice. Finally, we ordered some sarvana special thali’s; this thali is the best if you want to eat a lot on a budget. It is only 19 dhs and they give you free refills with everything! 😍 Service: The service in this restaurant however is amazing and everyone there is very polite. Typical saravana bhavan food. U won’t be disappointed or surprised if you know what to expect from this food chain. We enjoy eating in these chains for a sense of familiarity of home food. This branch is in the busy streets in Karama. Heading here during peak traffic hours might be a huge mistake if you are driving. There is one huge parking lot right in front of the branch about 2mins walk. But that parking is usually packed during the busy hours. If you are from chennai and love the small snacks and other miscellaneous items from there, you will find chennai tamil sandhai a min away on the left from this branch. They sell some authentic snacks from TamilNadu. We get the kovil patti coco muttai from there and got addicted to it. So that’s an incentive to eat at this branch. I would give average rating to this place only because of the familiarity of this food chain. Ambience 3/5 Staff 4/5 Food 4/5

Food per say is ok, their chutneys and sambar is very nice, their dosai are excellent. However, their snack items are not predictable. Biggest drawback is that room freshner they keep spraying as you are trying to down a good meal. The freshner also smells like baygon!!! Sarvana Bhavan is a star when it comes to south Indian food. I have visited this store couple of times and they maintain the food standards. I have eaten the mini tiffin for breakfast and trust me it is so scumptious that even if your stomach is full you wouldnt want to leave anything from the plate. Well they give mini idli, vada, dosa, sheera, pongal (which is my favourite dish here) along with sambhar and 2 type of chatni's. I love to eat my food with thier idli powder and oil mix coz that's the best i have eaten so far. Apart from mini meal i have eaten mysore masala dosa, onion rava masala dosa, ghee roast dosa, mini idli dipped in sambhar and all is delicious. To top this up they serve authentic filter coffee.

I had ordered a masala dosa and filter coffee to my office in Karama. Both the food and my coffee were piping hot and neatly packed. The masala dosa was very fresh and tasty. The aroma of the hot sambar filled up my office. The coriander chutney was both vibrant in colour and bursting with flavour. I loved it and will definitely order more from here and suggest the place to others as well. Keep up the good work guys!

Saravanaa Bhavan is one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants when I crave South Indian food and also too lazy to cook😜! My so called starter is always soft idlis & crispy vada combo with 3 different chutneys, and today tried the rava masala dosa for a change which was delicious!!! The finale has to be done right ... stainless steel glass of foamy strong n milky filter coffee almost dripping from the edges!!! (Check out the pic below😃😍 ) oh and if you go during breakfast hours, they play “Suprabatham” (morning devotional song) and you know its gonna be a good day ahead! Will recommend this super affordable place any day, any time, even if you just feel like munching!! 👍

This is the best South Indian for a North Indian palate.. I tried vada floating in Sambhar, just loved it .. Price/ Taste / Texture all good but there was a small service flaw when the server gave me Rasam instead of Sambhar during my last visit to the resturant.. 👍👍

Ambience and service is very good. Loved their thali when I visited here last time. I am a big fan of rice and love it when unlimited rice is served with other tasty veggies. Usually visit this place for breakfast and to take a break from non veg.
