(التعليق الأصلي) Best Asian food in town!! This is my 4th time to eat here in two week and I can say this is my favourite restaurant. All the ingredients used are top notch. Ask about the rosmerry Vinegar with honey drink when you finish your meal.

(التعليق الأصلي) If you want to get a real feel of the food culture of Taiwan and enjoy a slice of Taiwanese warmth and hospitality, check Taipei Dao – a restaurant tucked away in a slightly quieter neighborhood of Downtown Dubai. I warn you, you will get addicted! That’s because this restaurant not just serves tasty food, but tasty and 100 percent healthy food.

I absolutely loved the food at Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Cafe. The concept is unique, it's healthy and scientifically researched, which I found so impressive during my insightful discussion with the owner, Mrs. Felice Liao. I highly recommend Taipei Dao.

This is the only place in the whole of Dubai with the best bubble tea! Really appreciate the food; the super nice Taiwanese owner prides herself on using only fresh and healthy ingredients to serve up a great Chinese gourmet. Highly recommended!

My new favorite in Dubai. Met the owners today and amazed at their passion and love for healthy and tasty cuisine... Highly recommended. Make sure you order the special detox water a day before you go. It is on the house.

We tried all types of Dimsums at this place. We ordered for Chicken Sui Mai & Prawn.<br/><br/>Food was nice and kids loved the dimsums here. Lovely taste and good service..

The best taiwanese dishes I have tasted in Dubai. Their dishes are authentic and delicious. No matter how many courses you take, thanks to their teas, you don't feel bloated even after your large meal. Every dish has its unique taste and they taste really good too. Their desserts are unique and tasty. I personally love their red bean dessert.

Ordered delivery after rave reviews from a friend.<br/><br/>- Pu erh beef - looks deceptively small. The portion was so filling and there was definitely enough for two people to share. Broth was flavorful and tasted very authentic 9/10 <br/><br/>- chicken wanton - amazing flavour and texture. No fresh shrimp was listed in the ingredients but there were dried shrimp which made it extremely fragrant! 9/10 <br/><br/>- Green milk tea with bubbles. Tea was a little diluted, and the core of the bubbles were slightly a bit undercooked. Still a fan of din tai fungs milk tea. 7/10 <br/><br/>Will definitely visit to try other dishes

I love this restaurant usually and I love the flavors of their food. But portion size and delay in ordering was very upsetting. I ordered soup and dumplings and I got only 3 and the smallest portion of soup. For almost 60aed you’d expect more ... also the delivery was so late, and I live in the same building... hmm! But a 2 because food does take VERY good.

This is a Taiwanese restaurant in downtown. If you would like to try the authentic Taiwsnese dishes, this is the place. They also have nice Tiwanese bubble milk tea as a desert!

I booked a table via zomato app, worked well as got immediate confirmation. Restaurant itself is having good ambience and extremely good staff. They helped us order food. Goid choices in the menu. The food arrived fairly quickly and was well presented. Overall very good experience and not very expensive either.

Follow me on instagram: MenuCreeper<br/><br/> Taipei Dao is one of the few Taiwanese restaurants in Dubai and they do a great job of representing the cuisines of Taiwan. There are many things to admire and appreciate about Taipei Dao. First is they are extremely health conscious to the point that they not only use the best ingredients possible, but the complementary items such as cooking oil, which is double virgin olive oil, to ensure you have not only a healthier option, but different taste as well. If you have tried virgin olive oil compared to double virgin olive oil, you can surely taste and appreciate the difference.

Amazing service and excellent food!! Visited for dinner and everything ordered was awesome! Recommend to all who love Chinese food. Thanks to the polite staff for an amazing experience.

We’ve been looking forward to trying Taipei Dao for moooonths. I ate a lot of Taiwanese food growing up so its truly(madly deeply) dear to my foodie heart. So did Taipei Dao live up to expectations?<br/><br/>1) Iced Oolong Tea (8/10) great flavour, perfect sweetness, we both loved this.<br/><br/>2) Iced Milk Tea with Boba Pearls (8/10) again, the tea tasted delicious. The boba pearls were cooked perfectly, chewy and soft. Get this!<br/><br/>3) Salted Crispy Pepper Chicken (4/10) the only dish I didn’t like. The batter was a bit rubbery on the inside, the chicken seasoning didn’t taste anything like the Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken I’m used to. Not enough salt either!!<br/><br/>4) Oriental Beauty Tea Spring Onion Pancake (6/10) crispy but not flaky, definitely not enough salt, and I didn’t taste any hint of sesame oil brushes on the dough. Could be better.<br/><br/>5) Jasmine Tea Chicken Shu Mai (9/10) juicy, tender, umami, addictive!!!! We could eat this day after day meal after meal. Wow!!!<br/><br/>6) Chicken Sweet Corn Soup (5/10) good but nothing amazing. Typical sweet corn taste, small strips of chicken. Wouldn’t order it again.<br/><br/>DECEMBER 8 UPDATE:<br/><br/>7) Prawn and Chives Green Tea Dumplings (7/10) - generous filling, standard taste, you can tell its handmade, no artificial flavouring or msg added.<br/><br/>8) Ginger and Onion Fried Fish (7.9/10) - delicious sauce, flaky white fish, great with white rice. Amazing as leftovers the next day!!!<br/><br/>9) Pu-erh Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup (8.5/10) handmade noodles were chewy and cooked to al dente, broth was so flavourful and real tasting, no additives or chemicals in it, beef was more lean than fat, we love it.)<br/><br/>10) High Mountain Iced Tea (9.5/10) - 60 dhs per glass and worth every dirham! One of the best tea we ever tried. Ever.<br/><br/>11) Matcha and Black Sesame Iced Latte with Tapioca Pearls (6/10) - black sesame was overpowering. But the boba pearls were cooked to perfection.<br/><br/>Overall, some hit and miss dishes. Will definitely be back to try the beef noodle soup, mabo tofu and other dim sum. The parking is a bit annoying though.<br/><br/>Happy eating 🌷

My favorite Asian restaurant in Dubai!!! <br/>I’ve been here many times, the price is a little bit high, but the food and milk tea are amazing. The most recommended dish is the Puer beef, unfortunately during my last two visits, it is not available, really regretful.

Great dim sum and bubble teas! The chicken shuimai and radish cake are especially authentic! While the bubble teas really taste like the ones from Taiwan!
Reena
The food is the most authentic delicious Asian food I had in years. Chicken had a wonderful real flavor to it, rice was light and fluffy. Spring rolls are real hand made with the least oil and stuffed with shitaki mushrooms which was really really delicious. And they have a big variety of green tea shakes, I chose the one with fruit juice and it t was nothing like I tasted before, it had an earthy flavor and was fantastic. This is a hidden gem in business bay and a real must visit. Oh and they gave me free tea packs samples to try :)
Cloud Spotter
A little gem that serves Msg free, organic where possible ingredients for delicious Taiwanese cuisine. Hand made dim sum, noodles (including brown rice noodles!) and great service, need I say more!? Was very impressed. Definitely will be my go to for Chinese from now on.<br/><br/>Chicken and vegetable fried organic brown rice noodles 8.5/10<br/>Organic Multigrain vegetable fried rice 8/10<br/>Chinese kale 6.5/10<br/>Kunpao chicken 8/10<br/>Fried tofu skin and prawn dim sum 5/10 (too oily, filling was delicious)<br/>Minced prawn and vegetable lettuce wraps 7/10<br/>Green tea and prawn steamed dim sum 8.5/10<br/><br/>Cone here to eat well, forget about ambience.<br/><br/>
Serene W. Talhouk
Place is hidden and works on word of mouth. <br/>All their ingredients are organic and their meat is grass fed. Food options are interesting where tree tea oil and other oils are used .<br/>What we enjoyed:<br/>Dimsums, the prawn noodles (made fresh and not not done- have a different feel but they re good) and the sweet and sour chicken. <br/>We liked the place but we wouldn’t make it a point to revisit. <br/>But if you’re in the neighborhood and feel like authentic Taiwanese. Go for it
Foodie In Training 🙏🏻
Heard about this gem. Funny it took me a while to find this but worth it nonetheless. <br/><br/>Service was really nice <br/>Ambience is quite relaxed <br/>Portions were filling <br/>Choices were great <br/>A bit too pricey tbh but I guess being in Downtown has its downsides <br/>Beat of all were the pineapple cakes. Wowsa <br/><br/>Would come back one day for the other things. <br/>

Taiwanese food......I really loved it. the unique point about this restaurant is that it does not use any nasty stuff like msg in the food. all the food is organic and no refined or processed non sense. So you can really taste the flavours.<br/><br/>the service was good.....was even greeted personally by the owner on both occasions I visited which although unusual that an owner would take the time, it was very welcoming. shows real passion that it is the owner that takes the opportunity to check on customer and not just the waitress.<br/><br/>lovely restaurant........shame it does not have a license. would have made it all time favourite for me.

We visited this taiwanese restaurant tonight for the first time. In the context of our experience with south-east Asian food in the UAE this place moved up high in my favourites list.<br/>I find the food quality excellent and the preparation very good. The plate of vegetables was not tainted with an overdose of oyster sauce as it often happens with Asian food in western regions.<br/>As expected the place seems very clean and the staff is attentive.<br/>I struggled a little with the 5th star because I found the bubble tea too sweet for my liking. But I could have asked to reduce the sweetness.<br/>If only they delivered lunch to my workplace or dinner to my home... .<br/>I prefer this restaurant to Din Tai Fung.

I was first invited for a food tasting at this wonderful Taiwanese restaurant which is a hidden gem in the Downtown Dubai and since then I am in love with all the meals there. Not really a suitable place for a family and kids since the atmosphere is quite calm in general, and would rather maybe be seated outside to give a little space for my little one since the space is a bit small to be honest. I was a bit annoyed when I asked them to sit outside and they said it would be rather better to sit indoors but then later found out they prepared a table for 2 outdoors!. However, they provide by all means a wonderful clean and healthy food that everyone must try and with no sugar of artificial flavors etc..<br/>Always make sure you book your table in advance to get the Detox Water which is very good to your body and enriched with vitamins. <br/>I like the decorations of the restaurant. The staff and owner are really nice and warm welcoming and the service is good. <br/>Would absolutely like to try different meals and so should you if you care about getting healthy food although price is relatively more on the higher side but totally worth the value.

The food is divine, there is plenty of choices in the menu, the waiters are really very polite and helpful they explain every plate to u. The decoration also is very relaxing and comfy. I would really recommend the place 😋<br/>It is my first time but definitely not last

Best Taiwanese restaurant in Dubai, really authentic food!! The dim sum, scallion pancakes, eggplant hotpot and bubble tea are a must try!! I can't wait to go back to this place.

Quaint Traditional Taiwanese Restaurant in Downtown Dubai.<br/><br/>A lovely restaurant, teahouse and shop, tucked away on the ground floor Southridge Tower 4 in Downtown Dubai. This charming spot features classically healthy Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine. Available for dine-in, walk-in and take-out options, the extensive menu has a variety of options that should appease most palettes.<br/><br/>As a dine-in guest, you are given a rigid rubber placemat with custom metal chopsticks and traditional spoon and fork silver. Available when requested in advance, the detox water is full of healthy properties that aid digestion with 50 different recipes, something I highly recommend.<br/><br/>Appetizer options are numerous with several soups, spring rolls, dim-sum and more! I highly recommend their spring rolls. They are so light and flavorful without any lingering or dripping oils.<br/><br/>I couldn't help but gravitate towards the vibrantly colored ginger broccoli and fried rice (using brown rice) to accompany my meal.<br/><br/>Depending on your protein of choice, you can opt for items like seafood tempura dishes or classic fried fish or chicken choices.<br/><br/>By the time you've fished your meal, there are aperitif drinks, tea and ice cream options to delight your palette. I suggest trying as many of their homemade ice creams as possible. They are all extraordinary with surprising flavors and textures. <br/><br/>My Dubai Blog RATING<br/><br/>Atmosphere 4.5/5<br/>Cleanliness 4.5/5<br/>Food 4.5/5<br/>Service 5/5<br/>Value 4/5<br/><br/>Overall Rating 4.5/5<br/><br/>Ground Floor - Southridge Tower 4, Downtown Dubai<br/>Tuesday - Sunday 12p - 3p, 6:30p - 10:30p, Closed Monday

Great options for vegans and vegetarians! Ordered veg dim sum and tofu hot pot for delivery. Very fresh and healthy. Large portion of hot pot and tofu was cooked perfectly. Thought the Dim Sim was a little overpriced at 25aed for three pieces however were definitely one of he better dumplings I’ve had in Dubai.

Taipei Dao is a Chinese/Taiwanese restaurant which is tucked in one of the streets of Downtown Dubai. It literally is a hidden gem or a diamond in the rough because let’s be honest, it’s not the easiest to find. If you use Waze or Google maps though, I’m sure you’ll find it easily like we did.
Famished Explorer
A really classy, though small restaurant located in Downtown. <br/><br/>Knowledgeable staff who explains the dishes well. The owner is also a friendly lady. <br/><br/>Intersting items like green tea dumplings. <br/><br/>The best spring rolls ever!<br/><br/>They have a dedicated tea ceremony area just the way people do it in Taiwan. <br/><br/>Delicious jasmine tea siu mai (dumplings).<br/><br/>Definitely try the sweet n sour prawns / chicken. <br/><br/>Read about white bamboo shoots stir fry, the eggplant hotpot, and other details on the blog link below.

As a Taiwanese, I’ll say this place is definitely worth visiting, great food, well service and reasonable price.<br/><br/>Try it guys. Taipei dao won’t let you down.
Rusheel Iyer
The place isn't really ever too crowded and so has a peaceful ambiance, especially if you're meeting someone just for a cup of tea. Food, in contrast to other Asian foods, doesn't leave you feeling bloated after, and amongst the best I've had the pleasure to have eaten. Would definitely recommend the radish cakes and egg noodles.

Best and healthy authentic Chinese food in Dubai, and the milk tea with QQ is even better than Asia. This is the restaurant you will go back again, we go there every week 😋

This is an ideal restaurant when talking about quality of food. THE BEST CHICKEN SPRING ROLL I’ve ever tried, crispy and tastes really good. The seafood boat was so good with different types of seafood. The seafood noodles IS A MUST! Don’t miss trying it. Chicken dim sum is good as I expected. I love the drink they give after finishing the food, it makes me feel fresh and clean the mouth. <br/>

What restaurateurs need to understand is that basic human nature dictates that people will more readily put their fingers on the clackety-clack when they are unhappy, than when they are satisfied. To get the consumer to write a good review requires that they go beyond just good. You need to wow the patron into telling the world just how wonderful their experience was. And we can discount the relatively rare ‘point-hunters’ who seek fame through accruing social-media status. No, for the rest of us out there, we are going to write about a bad experience more readily. People want the satisfaction of knowing that the world knows they are not satisfied.  Average food aside, one area where I see regular rants is over delivery time. Here the key to keeping the customer happy is communication. Life is far from perfect and late deliveries are inevitable in this city of voracious bling. One should never forget that it is not everywhere in the world that you can pick up the phone and have food delivered an hour or less later. I don’t get freaked out over late deliveries so long as they are fashionable and the food is still warm. But if things go seriously pear-shaped in the delivery department, do yourself a favour and call the client, and explain that there is a problem. It is a small price to pay to retain loyalty. And now I have run out of words so I can’t get to actually reviewing the food I ordered from Taipei Dao. See?

I don't have a pallet for Taiwanese food but this restaurant is next to my house so ought to try this. The food was a bit bland for my liking but the staff and service makes up for it. They have some very good choices for green tea.

Taipei Dao is probably one of the best Taiwanese restaurants outside Taiwan. Having visited Taiwan multiple times, I have a fair idea of some of the popular Taiwanese delicacies and this restaurant makes them with utmost perfection!! <br/>Impeccable hospitality and mouth watering food..

Taipe Dao is one of the finest restaurants where I had the healthiest food ever, without compromising too much on taste - especially when considering that they don't use MSG or GMO in any of their food. <br/><br/>With Dubai amongst top destinations for world culinary experience, Taipei Dao is a must-try experience if you are in Dubai. You will be simply amazed by the height of quality consciousness the restaurant owners put forth for each and every ingredient that goes into the food served. Whether it's the deep sea mineral salt extracted from 662 meters below sea level off the coast of Taiwan or the antibiotics-free chicken or the Germinated Brown rice or the palm sugar used, you can be rest assured the ingredients used are of the finest quality. <br/><br/>Read our review of Taipei Dao on our website: arabiangazette.com/taipei-dao-dubai/

I went to this restaurant and loved the food! Especially the Spring Onion Pancakes and the Vegetable Brown Rice mixed with 5 grains. The Bubble tea was also delicious. I loved the fact that everything is super healthy and we got explanations of what we were eating and how they sourced it. That makes you enjoy the food even further. The ambiance and decor are very nice. If you are in Downtown, it is a great place to have dinner with your friends or with your special one.  I will come back for sure!

Had the pleasure of dining at such an exquisite and authentic Taiwanese restaurant - Taipei Dao. I have never visited the East Asian island before, so my visit was such an eye-opener and instantly won me over with their delightful cuisines. <br/> I was really impressed with unique decor and the food was honestly mind-blowing! <br/><br/>Another thing that i honestly i'm still mind-blown with, is the ingredients! Everything is purely organic, i mean the only thing they actually use that is white , is the salt - deep see salt to be precise. <br/><br/>So i am comfortable with knowing that what im eating is made with fresh, organic ingredients.<br/><br/>For the best and unique authentic taste of Taiwanese cuisines, I would highly recommend a dining experience at Taipei Dao and trust me, you will love it! Indulge in some Taiwan Goodness!

Since I have never had Taiwanese cuisine before, I was really looking forward to savouring some authentic Taiwanese delicacies. Much to my surprise, the food at Taipei Dao was not only scrumptious but also healthy. Quietly tucked away in the neighbourhood of Downtown Dubai, the restaurant truly caters to diners who are looking for tasty yet healthy eating options. Most of the ingredients used are organic and sourced from Taiwan. The restaurant totally avoids MSG which is a big relief for many. The use of Germinated Brown Rice in certain dishes is quite unique. If you are a huge fan of prawns, then Pineapple Fruity Prawn is a must try. Overall, a great place to have a cosy dinner with your family.

Dubai's hidden food gem which provides the best of Taiwanese Cuisine. Serves the most healthiest food in the town which is absolutely gluten free and contains no MSG as well. From the salt to oil each and every ingredient has been taken care while preparing the dishes. The service is amazing from start to finish - every staff member is warm and lovely. In Fact the owner, Ms. Felice personally took us through the menu and the concept of the restaurant, which is to use only responsibly sourced, organic and natural ingredients. The food is absolutely delicious! A Must visit and must tryout place

Superb little place tucked away in Southridge Downtown Dubai!<br/>This Taiwanese restaurant projects a relaxing and calming ambience. The menu has a large and very diverse selection of dishes. Products are organic and each dish has its own original & specific flavour. They are light and easy to digest. Some of their organic products are also on sale. <br/>Staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable.<br/>Highly recommended!

A little gem tucked away in Southridge Downtown. A focus on healthier items such as the incredibly moreish germinated rice will appeal to health-conscious foodies, but honestly there are so many delicious and carefully created dishes on the menu that there's something for everyone.

Ordered for delivery. They are new to delivery but totally not prepared... After 10min they told me dessert is not available and instead they agreed to replace by a drink. 30min after called back and asked me to pay the price difference between dessert and drink! Unbeilivable. Ended up asking zomato to cancel the order 1h after my order. What a waste of time. Thank you Taipei Dao !

Ambience: 3.5/5<br/>Location: Ample parking and peaceful 3.5/5 <br/>Hygiene : 3.5/5<br/><br/>Food:3/5 <br/><br/>Value for money:2.5/5<br/>Service: 2.5/5<br/>Honestly , I am a little disappointed with the service and quantity of the food. Being in downtown ofcourse the prices are higher compared to other places but I did not except it to be as this high, service was very poor we had to ask for our soft-drinks 5 times before we actually received it. Further, they did not clearly indicate the difference between the veg or non-veg after clearly specifying that we want a particular thing.<br/>The prawns and fried rice were good rest of the meal was just about average.

This is a hidden gem tucked away in Downtown Dubai. The dishes are excellent with everything we ordered being tasty. It is one of the best places in town for Taiwanese cuisine.<br/>The decor is nice and the service is excellent.

Taipei Dao was opened a few years ago by Taiwanese restaurateur Felice Liao, formerly of Sino Chai in Dubai Healthcare City. She’s a health-conscious woman with a conscience who insists that her food is of a standard that she would be happy to eat herself or serve to her family. She imports authentic Taiwanese ingredients (some of which they also sell at the store) and uses organic, free-range and non-GMO where possible.

Taipeidao is one of the most authentic taiwanese restaurant with organic meat and ingredients and which goes beyond organic with no msg and refined sugar,<br/><br/>Green tea prawn din suns are to die for !!<br/><br/> I definitely recommend the all you can eat dimsums on weekends for 98 AED

A pleasant surprise at our door step. Excellent food - taste and quality of ingredients. Nice and spacious, has a good retail segment with some very nice teas.

Dumplings, beef noodle soup, chilli mala tofu and bubble tea! Everything is A +. The owner is very passionate about sourcing high quality ingredients and that translates into the food that is presented and served at Taipei DAO. Healthy and gluten free options are also available!

Was looking for an authentic asian cuisines and came across Taipei dao on zomato, what can I say it had lovely ambience, great location and absolutely authentic delicious Chinese food. Service was great. This restaurant was value for money!

After Sino Chai shut down in Dubai Healthcare city I was upset. A few months back during a conversation with a friend, I heard that they had reopened with the name Taipei Dao and I had to revisit.<br/><br/>I visited Taipei Dao with a bunch of friends and we tried a number of dishes ranging from Chicken Spring Rolls, Steamed Beef Dumplings, Green Tea Prawn Chives Dumplings to Prawn fried noodles, Seafood fried rice, Sweet and sour Chicken etc.<br/><br/>Every dish we tried was either above average or really good. The only improvement I can suggest is on the dumplings. I found the dumplings to be extremely soft due to which the cover broke apart and eating them with chopsticks was somewhat a challenge. <br/><br/>Don't forget to try their Tea collection. I tried the Green Tea with Milk and Matcha Ice Cream which was pretty good.<br/><br/>Such a calm place and a lovely ambience. Totally worth the visit for Taiwanese and Asian food.

Just left. After we drove from Abu Dhabi with reservations, sat for 15 minutes, and attemped to order twice the best decision we made was to leave. Still hella hungry. Perhaps if I looked more Asian we might have been served. Tai Pei DON'T.

Food, like a loving touch has the ability to comfort- words spoken by the wise Norman Kolpas. This is truly how i felt when i got my first taste of Taiwanese cuisine at this stowed away gem of a restaurant, Taipei Dao tea house restaurant and cafe, (previously known as Sino Chai located in Healthcare city) located in the South ridge tower 4 of Downtown Dubai. The interiors of the restaurant are zen- like and tasteful in nature and reflects that of a calm oasis.

Amazing food. Tastes home-cooked and doesn't leave you with that bloated feeling after.<br/><br/>The fruit teas are amazing and the ambience and authenticity of the place is nice. <br/><br/>High recommended.

This restaurant is great! We went there for dinner on a Saturday night, on a dim sum mission. They happen to have all you can eat dumplings Friday and Saturday, which is awesome. We basically sampled the whole dim sum menu, and liked most of them, especially the steamed ones. I didn't care much for the tofu skin fried ones. The tea is good too, and the service very attentive and proactive.

Really good Taiwanese cuisine at Taipei Dao with high quality teas. The dishes are full of flavors using fresh and tasty ingredients. There is a small bakery where you can find typical delicious sweets and pastries. They also sell large selection of teas from all price ranges. Service is fine, the waiters are pretty nice.

Good thing I finally got to try the place given the fact that it's literally just below my building. Their dimsums are to die for. Plus, their weekend unlimited dimsum offer is something to look forward to. Staff service is splendid and the ambiance of the place really transports you to the south east asia. Recommending it to everyone. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have a growing appetite for fresh noodles, and this place was on my list for weeks! Glad to say we weren't disappointed! The place is much larger than I expected. They also have a bakery and store. The ambience is wonderful and staff very helpful. The thing that stood out the most was the QUALITY of food. It was definitely new flavours and textures but the quality tasted excellent. We started with their Osmanthus Tea Vegetarian dumplings (steamed) and Chin Hsuan Tea Seafood rolled in tofu skin was was the first time I'd tasted something as interesting as that. The tofu added a completely new texture. For mains we had the Sino Chai Pu-erh Beef Noodle soup which was midly flavoured and delicious. You could really taste the ingredients. I had the vegetable fried noodles which had the yummiest mushrooms ever. The noodles were home made and delicious. Slightly thicker than what you're used to. We finished with a Jasmine Green tea with tapioca pearls which was thankfully well balanced in flavour and not too sweet. Definitely recommend.

I believe the number of restaurants specializing in 'authentic' Chinese cuisine in Dubai is on the rise. And Taipei Dao is another one of those and I can certainly say that it's a welcome addition to the list. We started off with some garlic tofu, spring onion pancakes, pan fried beef dim-sums and Osmanthus tea vegetarian dumplings. Top marks for each of them though the dim-sums probably edged out the rest in terms of the flavors. The garlic tofu and the pancakes too were nice but more because of their delicate and subtle flavors. For the mains we had some vegetable fried rice, garlic spring onion fish, chicken with black bean sauce and the chili mala tofu. A quick note for all vegetarians coming to this or any other authentic Chinese restaurant, always ask and specify that you need your dish to be 'completely' vegetarian with no eggs, no fish sauce etc (happen with a friend so I thought it was worth a mention). So the tofu here was really nice .. definitely spicy but delicious! The chicken and the rice too went well together. The fish was probably the only thing that was average amongst everything that we had. On the whole this was a good experience and definitely a restaurant I'd recommend to people as a place that's worth a try at least.

Taipei Dao may not have been discovered by us if it was not the WKND magazine of Khaleej Times.<br/>A difficult to find place at South Ridge Apartment cluster of Downtown Dubai, near Dubai Mall, it is a great place to allow the taste buds to blossom. They use a lot or organic products, including, but not limited to Oil, Germinated Brown Rice, Palm sugar and sweet potato starch. The owner is there to talk and explain her journey with wholesome and healthy food.<br/>I enjoyed the flavours and the choices available.<br/>In case you book your table a day in advance you even get fruit or vegetable infused water.<br/>In the past month we have already visited the place twice, though it is not close to our house.

Absolutely amazing food. Light. Fresh ingredients. Perfectly put together. <br/><br/>Best dim sums I've had in a while! Served with a delicious sauce. Ask for the chilli sauce too. Adds a nice hit of spice!<br/><br/>Loved the healthy feel to the brown rice so much we bought a box to take home. After lunch we visited the bakery too. For take home snacks!!<br/><br/>Overall great service and amazingly fresh ingredients which led to great food!

Felice Liao, owner of TaiPei Dao has spent more than ten years traversing the globe to find the core and essential ingredients that go into every meal at TaiPei Dao. Serving Authentic Taiwanese cuisines made with fresh and organic ingredients. If you book for reservation a day before your visit they give you complementary detox drinks. If you are into eating healthy you would enjoy their food. Their prices are fairly reasonable keeping in mind the fresh organic ingredients used in their dishes.

Taipei Dao, which roughly translates to “pathway to Taipei” is undeniably a hidden gem in the heart of Business Bay, Dubai. It’s a Taiwanese Teahouse, which makes complete sense since dim sum is a usual accompaniment to tea in the Chinese culture. Do they serve the best dim sum I’ve ever had? Not in my opinion- but maybe it’s because these folks don’t use MSG, GMO ingredients, bouillon, or any other delicious stuff that is so bad for you but ultimately tastes so, so good. I’ll tell you what made me fall in love with it though: the superiority of the ingredients being used, and the bakery cum tea shop; they will really transport you to the Far East.

Great food, service and atmosphere, I love the little bakery and its so refreshing to go to a place where the owner is so present and involved and cares about quality. Its a must to try this place out I can't recommend just one item you have to try all the dim sum that's for sure.

Taipei Dao is located in Downtown Dubai at Emaar Southridge Tower. There are A LOT of reasons why Taipei Dao deserves a hidden gem title and a five-star rating. Even though we are ‘expert’ in Downtown Dubai, we hadn’t heard of Taipei Dao. We are glad to have received an invite for trying the authentic Taiwanese cuisine with a healthy element. We are also glad to have met the owner, Felice Liao who is quick to personally assist and spread the message of healthy eating.

Taipei Dao is one of the best, authentic Chinese restaurants in Dubai. Well, it’s Taiwanese really. You’d have to go to International City to get any more authentic or to Din Tai Fung, the soup dumpling (Xiaolongbao) kings, for anything more Taiwanese. It’s most certainly a welcome change to the Indian-Chinese restaurants so common to Dubai.<br/><br/>Much of Taipei Dao’s tasteful interior is carried over from the original restaurant in Healthcare City and will look pleasingly familiar to regulars. It’s casual enough to visit in weekend creases, shorts and stubble yet posh and elegant enough for date nights. Business lunch or dinners should also work well. Service is very oriental which means it’s warm, polite, hospitable and extremely accommodating.<br/><br/>The food is very, very good. My family and I ate through half the menu when we last visited. In typical Taiwanese style there is an extensive range of dim sum on offer. I recommend you try some. It’s all made in-house and far better than what is available in most other restaurants. If in doubt, ask. The helpful staff, all fluent in English, will guide you. Also made in-house are the noodles – oof – they’re amazing any way you have them. Taipei Dao offers a unique range of blended rice, the five grain brown rice a must have. Carbs aside, I suggest you try the braised beef. It’s to die for. In fact everything we had was excellent, too many to list.<br/><br/>And then there is the tea. Yes, Taipei Dao is also a tea house. How cool is that? BeauTEAful. <br/><br/>Waste NOT. Want NOT.<br/>Check out my collection of authentic Chinese restaurants in Enter the Dragon.

Sometimes you need to step out of your daily grind and experience something new, something unique and something absolutely organic. That's what we did at the menu tasting for Taipei D'ao Teahouse Restaurant & Cafe. Offering indulgent Taiwanese cuisine with a health factor imbibed in their ingredients and style of cooking, this restaurant is a hidden gem.<br/><br/>Owner Felice extended her warm hospitality and led us on a wonderful Taiwanese culinary journey, sharing some of her well kept trade secrets and healthy tips. Her enthusiasm, friendly attitude and passion for food are worth their weight in gold.<br/><br/>Don't forget to follow @truetotaste on Instagram and Truetotaste on Facebook<br/><br/>Read the whole review on my blog. (Link in bio)<br/><br/>Detox Water – Preparing 52 different concoctions for 52 weeks of the year, the detox water at Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Cafe is a miraculous surprise. From weight loss and detoxifying your system to giving you a younger looking skin and silkier hair, Felice has it all. The detox for this week is recommended for improved digestion keeping in line with Ramadan.<br/><br/>Garlic Golden Tofu Cubes – Extremely light and fresh, these tofu cubes were lightly stir-fried and flavored with aromatic garlic and garnished with spring onion and spicy red chilies. The cubes were served with a house special chili oil dip, pickled cucumbers and fragrant soy sauce. <br/><br/>Osmanthus Tea Vegetarian Dumplings – Conceptualized in a teahouse environment, these dim sums at Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Café exuded their own tea brilliance. Infused with Osmanthus Oolong tea, these slimy dumplings were stuffed with a combination of pok choy, mushrooms, bamboo shoot, sesame oil and dried tofu. Not your regular dumpling filling, isn’t it?<br/><br/>Chin Hsuan Tea Seafood Rolled in Tofu Skin – These fried dim sums featured a mixture of prawns, celery, leek and coriander that was fused with Chin Hsuan Oolong tea and rolled in a deliciously light and flaky tofu skin. Extremely crispy on the outside, the tofu skin added an appetizing layer.<br/><br/>Don't forget to follow @truetotaste on Instagram and Truetotaste on Facebook<br/><br/>Read the whole review on my blog. (Link in bio)<br/><br/>Forever Young Yam - Aptly named, this dish contained all the elements required to keep you looking young and healthy. From the exotic Chinese yam and anti-oxidant goji berries, to the classic carrots, beans, baby corn and mushrooms, everything in this dish had its own unique flavor that stood out on its own without owerpowering the other ingredients.<br/><br/>Mixed 5 Grains Rice – Keeping in line with their concept and the traditional Chinese roots, Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Café ensure they have an abundant supply of grains to feed the stomach, yet without any unhealthy effects. All their grains are imported from Taiwan, and they have a strict policy of no white rice. So much so, that the brown rice they use is specially germinated which makes the grain more active and beneficial for your system. In addition to grains, this version of fried-rice also contains the basics of carrots, lettuce, egg and spring onion. <br/><br/>Stir-fried Tofu with Ham – This creatively crafted stir fry at Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Café makes the use of veg ham, or soy ham to replace the actual meat. It combines shredded tofu, onions and spring onions along with the “ham” in a deliciously savory soy sauce base. And let me assure you, the soy ham tasted just like the meaty counterpart. I honestly wouldn’t have guessed the difference had I not been told about it. <br/><br/>Salted Crispy Pepper Chicken – Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Café uses free-range chicken, that’s not injected with any kind of harmful hormones. So instead of adding extra fat to your body, the sole purpose of this dish is to allow you to experience the unique salt and pepper flavors from the heart of Taiwan. What’s more, this deep fried chicken is not coated with the usual corn flour. It is infact coated in sweet potato flour which contains no starch, no colors, no additives and no preservatives. This makes the chicken crust so much more crunchy. Garnished with two of my favorite ingredients - fried basil and spicy red chilies, the chicken was served with paprika and white pepper powder for that extra spicy kick. <br/><br/>The lovely shot of rice vinegar at the end of the main course serves the same purpose that the detox water did at the beginning of the meal.<br/> Diluted in cold water, it has a strong tangy albeit refreshing taste and is meant to replace bodily enzymes. <br/><br/>Taipei Dao Teahouse Restaurant & Café houses their own deli where you can purchase a variety of authentic organic Taiwanese cuisine essentials including tea, grains, deep sea salt, oil, vinegar, condiments & sauces, and a lot more. They also have a lovely in-house bakery that dishes out tasty delights and healthy treats from muffins and cakes to gluten-free pastries.<br/><br/>Don't forget to follow @truetotaste on Instagram and Truetotaste on Facebook<br/><br/>Read the whole review on my blog. If you book for reservation they give you complementary detox drinks. Authentic Taiwanese cuisines made with organic ingredients. If you are into eating healthy you would enjoy their food. Their prices are fairly reasonable keeping in mind the fresh organic ingredients used in their dishes.<br/><br/>They use the most healthiest organic cold pressed tea seed oil to prepare all their dishes. Their sea food hotspot was delicious. I recommend to try their ginger fish, oriental tea spring onion pancakes and their green tea dumpling😍stuffed with prawn teasing my tongue until I slowly bite into it and the pillowy mouthful of the dumpling oozes it's glorious juices😛. I can still taste it as I describe it so luscious. Their signature sauce sever with the dishes is devine👌🏼<br/>They also have organic bakery sections with scrumptious baked goods an not to mention tea station where they brew some refreshing cup of tea.<br/>They sell lot of their the ingredients in their shop like tea leaves, organic tea seed oil, salt collected from the deeper part of the ocean. This Taiwanese restaurant, bakery and tea house is hidden in Downtown. The ingredients are fresh and the food is healthy. I love the beef noodle soup and the schezwan prawns. <br/><br/>They have a set menu for their Friday brunch which is a good offer but a lot of the items are fried and the service is very slow when they're busy. <br/><br/>I order from them every week and love the food. <br/><br/>They also have a bakery and vast tea selection which I have yet to try.

Very good surprise! We had the pleasure to spend some time with the owner who is really passionate about what she does. Most of their products are organic and all the food is prepared by Taiwanese chefs without additives or conservatives. You can tell the dim sum are freshly made. They tasted amazing. They also have a wide selection of teas. We had the chance to have a private class of brewing and so many stories from the owner! What a pleasant moment. A must try: their pastries! Excellent work!

Last January 18, 2015 Kitty Bull and Leyla Brunton My co-bloggers and sisters, invited me to a Restaurant at the heart of Business Bay which is TAI PEI DAO RESTAURANT at Southridge Building. The ownder of the restaurant was a good friend of Kitty Bull and She invited us to together with other Food Bloggers. I was impressed at the interiors and style of the restaurant because it brings me a lot of memories way back in the Philippines because i always eat and shop at China Town together with my family. Plus the good things about the restaurant is that the family owns the business that's why you are sure that you will eat an authentic dish from the traditional way of their family. The owner was very sweet and charming and all the dishes in their menu are very affordable and they hire the best chefs just to make a perfect and authentic taste on each dish that they will serve to their customers. They also have a cleanliness and freshness management inside and you smell a good taste of their dishes plus it is so inviting inside to dine because of the friendly service of their staffs. They were all smiling and happy on serving their customers plus you will see that they are happy on their job.
We The Foodsters
Taipei Dao is a quaint Asian restaurant located at Business Bay. We’ve heard quite a bit about this place before, so we were happy when a friend of our invited us for a quiet evening out to give their food a try. Right off the bat, upon entering the place, you’ll feel a very familiar surge of homey comfort and a warm ambiance. The staff are friendly and there’s plenty of space for everyone.

A hidden gem in Dubai, I spotted this place in a newspaper article on a day when I was feeling sick and feverish due to a terrible throat infection and persistent cold. The allure of hot organic tea with infusions was too tempting to resist me from stepping out in that condition. Once I saw their menu, the food was tempting as well. So I ordered a Jasmine Tea Chicken Shu Mai dim sum and the Spring Onion pancake. Both were sufficient for me but I decided to take home some Vegetable Fried Rice which came in healthy choices - either only Germinated Brown Rice or the 5 Grain combination. I went for the former and it didn't disappoint as a stand alone fare. The pancakes were perfectly crispy at the right edges and the Dim Sum was a perfect choice. The waiter recommended the Infusion Tea with Palome, which he said, would control my cold considerably with the right amount of Ginger. The Tea was fantastic and really helped me thru the day. The staff also took me to their bakery section and showed me the excellent selection of teas and patisserie. The variety was too hard to resist and I invariably ended up taking the Red Bean Cake home as well!! The Cake turned out to be creamy although desserts with Palome, Ginger and Red Beans can be an acquired taste that not everyone takes a liking to immediately. Definitely going to revisit this place again especially for the teahouse!!

I'm so thankful to a lovely friend of mine for inviting me to a tasting evening at Taipei Dao. I'd never heard of this restaurant before which is now situated in Southridge Tower #4 in Downtown Dubai; a) even though it had been open for 5 months already and b) it had a been a long standing restaurant in Dubai but previously located in Healthcare City.

wow this restaurant mesmerized me with the fresh, flavored, taste and work of art food. I visited after Talal Al Rashid highly recommend and it's beyond my expectations. <br/>The price is excellent and I visited twice and will visit again to,,, the location is excellent too 3 minutes from my house I love the friendly staff along with welcoming beautiful owner.<br/><br/>Today I told my mother and she will visit your restaurant very soon.<br/><br/>Please keep the good work and signature of the taste.<br/><br/>Thank you very much for the yummy food <br/><br/>

Ended up having Christmas dinner here and don't regret it. The food is really good and doesn't make you feel heavy. For appetisers we had the veg spring rolls, they were really steaming hot inside but so delicious, the beef rolls which I would have preferred if it was duck and the tofu roll which I loved even though am not a tofu fan. The interesting thing about the fried appetisers is that they are not oily at all. The spicy dipping sauce is super spicy so be careful. We also had the chicken corn soup which was good but not as flavourful as my favorite place in Dubai. For mains we tried the beef stew which was a bit of disappointment on flavor, the prawn sweet and sour which we wiped off, and the chicken tofu which was really tasty. The brown germinated rice is amazing. Had one of the cold drinks from the extensive menu, the tastes in this restaurant are more subdued than commercial reataurants and same could be said about the drink. Had the gluten free dark chocolate cake and green tea ice cream for dessert, both were amazing but we wee stuffed. The restaurant gets a high rating due to quality of food although flavours not so strong but I guess this is their concept. Service was very prompt and friendly and you can tell they have attention to detail from the way food is served and presented. I would say they need to review prices slightly as it does add up when you order many small dishes. Themed music would also be nice. It's such a shame that wonderful restaurants like this get no exposure or coverage in Dubai. You can buy tea and baked goods too. I am still dreaming of that spring roll :)
Ginger And Scotch
For an authentic Taiwanese food experience in Dubai, head over to Taipei Dao in the Downtown Dubai area. Many of you will know this restaurant in its former life as Sino Chai (previously located in Healthcare City). The restaurant bills itself as "Dubai's most Authentic Taiwanese cuisine experience."<br/><br/>There are a couple things that I remember from my first visit to Sino Chai with my mom in 2009 when Wee Scotch was in my belly. First was that I wasn’t allowed to drink a special tea that was served to our table because I was pregnant. Second I recall the food being amazing and like comfort food for me. It got my mom’s seal of approval. <br/><br/>And third, I remember my mom ordering bubble tea – a HOT one. I had never had hot bubble tea before and when I tasted hers, I was hooked.<br/><br/>The calming aroma of the jasmine and the silky texture of the milk tea plus the chewiness of the tapioca pearls – I loved it! So I had to order it again this time around.

Its the BESt! <br/>
Moo Da Food
LOVE their food. Used to go to this place when it was in Healthcare City, and honestly best Dim Sum, love their sweet and sour chicken- it's hard to go wrong food wise here, but don't come here for atmosphere. It's usually dead, there's no hint of background music, and the furniture is meh, but holy moly, THE FOOD.
Jayen Munji
Still THE BEST SIOMAI I have ever tasted. Makes me crave for more. Their tofu, prawn balls, seafood noodles are also yummylicious. Oh! And they are serving brown rice too. :)
Taruja Shirodkar
The place is quaint and a lovely change from stepping into the maddening crowd of the Mall to get to a restaurant your like. The bakery and store section has a variety of things to buy from tea, sauces to fresh bread , muffins and cake. Some interesting ones are def worth a try. The service is excellent and the staff is always pleasing . The food is good on the palette and the stomach too. <br/>A must try once for a lunch or dinner date or catch up with friends.

I don't think it is the same management as Sino Chai. I remember Sino chai as a 4-4.5 rated restaurant .<br/><br/>Taipei Dao needs to do a lot to fix themselves .<br/><br/>Dim sum were lil gooey and didn't have the flavors compared to other dubai dim sum .<br/><br/>Tofu starter was good and at the right price .<br/><br/>Kang kong was ok. <br/><br/>Seafood hot pot didn't have the scallops , even though it was mentioned . I commented to the waiter And his reply was that there were small pcs of dried scallop inside. I still couldn't find any. <br/><br/>Kung Pao, Taiwanese style tasted odd with less chicken and lots of cucumber , and was priced at 60! <br/><br/>Oolong iced tea was very good.<br/><br/>Overall the meal didn't standout . I don't know why sinochai closed down , but if Taipei Do don't fix their food , this place is doomed as well.<br/><br/>Harsh words but dubai does have better dimsum and Chinese food at better prices .

Updated review;<br/><br/>Went there again, still wonderful! Had the dumplings, which are still amazing. The new dishes I tried were:<br/><br/> Orchid tofu which is amazing, lightly flavoured, chewy tofu chunks in a soy based sauce<br/><br/>Sliced dried tofu with vegetarian ham - yes VEGETARIAN HAM, which is made of tofu and is amazingly close to the real ham (I was a non vegetarian 2 years ago). <br/><br/>Braised tofu hotpot with extra sauce - the tofu and vegetables were great but we were expecting extra sauce not water. The dish ended up being bland, but nonetheless with a bit of sauce, it carried it's way. I've learnt not to play with the chefs creation.<br/><br/>Blackforest cake - skip it, non Gluten and bit hard as well<br/><br/>Service: great but I'm a bit upset the staff didn't inform me the kitchen closes at 9.45pm on a Thursday night!<br/><br/>This place is definitely a hidden gem, and hate to see such a few people reviewing and rating this. Seriously better food than a lot of others I've tried!<br/><br/>-----------------------------------------------------------<br/><br/>Finally, 2 weeks of wanting to go here ended!<br/>A bit difficult to find as I don't stay in business bay, and can be a bit of a task to get a parking, Zomato has this place nailed on Google Maps!<br/><br/>Ambience: Excellent, although it was a bit empty for a friday, I guess it could be a bit cramped when full, nevertheless, well done!<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Veggies have great options trust me!!<br/><br/>Homestyle Veg Tofu Soup - excellent, expect lots of veggies and tofu, a bit of condiments and perfect<br/><br/>Sliced Long Tofu - it's cold and awesome. I believe its these thin sheets of tofu rolled up and sliced , marinated in a garlic-chilli-soy sauce , served cold.<br/><br/>Garlic Golden Tofu - it's not cold as on the menu, it came hot, freshly fried! Perfectly crispy fried tofu pieces with mince garlic, chillis. I wouldn't recommend this as it's too oily, and the toppings just don't stick to the tofu. I'd rather they saute it or make a thick sticky sauce for it<br/><br/>Osmanthus Tea Dumplings - huge pieces, very nicely done, you can taste a hint of the tea flavour, very nice.<br/><br/>Spring Onion Pancake - a big portion, very similar to a non flaky Malaysian paratha (Roti Canai) with a slight hint of spring onions and a nice dipping sauce. Honestly, it's quite heavy and I wished they used more spring onion and probably some more fillings but its a big portion.<br/><br/>Mapu Tofu - silken tofu, excellent gravy, served in a hot pot<br/><br/>HomeMade Veg noodles - Wow, amazing noodles, lots of vegetables, excellent, but it's a task to eat it with a gravy, so I suggest to ask them with no veggies or have it as a meal by itself!<br/><br/>Gluten Free Chocolate Cake from their bakeshop - true to every ingredient mentioned!<br/><br/>I missed out on so much more, the wraps which I didn't see on the menu, and probably another hotpot and 5 grain rice. Avoiding the fried tofu and pancakes would have created that space for sure!<br/><br/>Tried their Ginseng Tea Cocktail, excellent!<br/><br/>After the meal, they give you passion fruit drinking vinegar which I must say is simply amazing!<br/><br/>Service: Excellent. I gentleman came to review our meal and explained the owners quest for organic, authentic ingredients from all corners of South East Asia which I believe you can taste. The timings are temporary till they are fully staffed.<br/><br/>Price - about 100 dhs per head -- For the quest of fine ingredients, you do end up paying for it. Their rice is organic and 5 grains, sugar from Cambodia, noodles made in house (40dhs!!), tofu is probably organic too!<br/><br/>Overall - I'm coming back to try the rest of the menu! I hope the restaurant stays true to the service, food and ingredients and never stops the quest for innovation! great job!

We went here not knowing how's the cuisine like, but it's asian so I think my tastebud will be okay. So yes, it was beyond my expectation. They served a very healthy, delicious and aromatic asian food! The portion is more than enough for two, considering im a big eater. The interior is fine, I cant say much coz it quite not spacious. The staff are nice and attentive. But They are kind of short staff, i can see same people serving different table. But this doesnt affect my shd be perfect but the washroom, they dont have one inside, you have to go out. Only this dismayed me.

Great place! To begin with the staff are very responsive and attend to you rather well! The food is not just tasty but also feels healthy! Nice ambience and a great place to go for a quiet dinner. Last but not the least, you can walk in your shorts and t shirt and still get a fine dining experience! Would totally go back!

Is it possible to absolutely love a place and also be pretty sure that you won't go back much, if at all? For me, Taipei Dao is a perfect example of this. First, a disclaimer: I lived outside of Taipei for two years before moving here, and when I heard about this place, I started to think about the possibilities. Would the food be a good representation of Taiwanese cuisine or would it be a glorified PF Chang's? The answer is that it's absolutely the former. We ordered for two, getting ma-po tofu, which was fantastic despite the fact that I don't especially like tofu, the sanbeiji, or three cup chicken, which was good even though they probably couldn't use one of the main ingredients, which is alcohol. The final--and most important--order was the beef noodle soup, and for anybody who has been to Taiwan, you'd know that the Taiwanese are religious about their beef noodles. These are nearly perfect, truly a great representation of the dish, one of my absolute favorites on the planet.<br/><br/>So what's the problem? Why won't I be returning any time soon? Put simply, I think you end up paying way too much for not enough, despite it being excellent food. The beef noodles alone cost 58 dirhams, when you'd expect them to be closer to 12 dirhams in Taiwan and be a meal on their own. The truth is that the two of us left hungry, and to be properly fed, you'd probably have to spend 120-150 dirhams per person. That price is justifiable when you're eating high-end food, but you're paying gourmet prices for unpretentious, standard Taiwanese food, and even though it's absolutely delicious, I can't get behind paying that much for what I'm having.
Foodbook
Awesome Taiwanese tea house which serves delicious food made with healthy ingredients and it comes with a bakery!<br/><br/>Even if you're not a fan of this cuisine, try it out once. Cos I did (when it was called Sino Chai and was located at Healthcare City) and I've been coming back many times! So for you foodies who have been to Sino Chai back then, go to Taipei Dao pronto. It has been upgraded! <br/><br/>I like going in a group and ordering many dishes and trying out stuff. <br/><br/>We like their milk tea with those delicious QQ balls, soups, scallion pancakes, golden tofu cubes, spicy mung bean noodles with beef, their mains and desserts.<br/><br/>Before you are served your food order, you will get some delicious cut cucumbers. Eat it even if you don't like cucumbers because it's that good.<br/><br/>For mains, go with whatever you fancy cos it's bound to be delicious. <br/><br/>And finish off with some black sesame ice cream cos it's hard to find ones that taste so delicious like a healthier version of Oreos.<br/><br/>I want to try their healthy sorbets next time I'm there. Heard good things about them that it'll help with digestion.<br/><br/>Also tried the Hawaiian Macadamia cake and I'm amazed with the texture and taste. <br/><br/>Stuffed myself so much but I didn't feel like I've put on any weight!
