Of late I had been enjoying my food at Asian5 and had been talking about it but then within a week I had three different people ask me if I had been to The Yellow Monkey at JBR. Of course I had heard of it and seen posts put up by fellow bloggers but it had never been in my choice list due to location – I don’t venture a lot into the Marina/ JBR neighbourhood.
Amazing small gem hidden in marina for so long. Amazed how authentic it is. Loves every dish. A must to visit. Giving 5 stars to a restuarant means you cannot go wrong. First visit and 5 stars.
The Penang Curry from @theyellowmonkeys (pop-up at #QuozArtsFest2020) really blew my mind. It had deliciously tender chunky pieces of lamb in a thick, sweet and salty curry with a lovely predominant peanut flavour (making it different from the other more famous Thai curries). The zinginess from lemongrass, lime and chillies with fluffy Jasmine rice to soak up all the goodness left me wanting more
The green curry is really good. I tried the beef with basil as well which Is very delicious.
Service quite fast though taste is too authentic !! The Thai food lovers will love it !!!

Simple decor, friendly staff & yummy food. A lil bit of Thailand amongst the maddening towers of Dubai. Highly recommended for one of those long lazy outdoor lunches.
Thai food at its best. The theme is fantastic. Everything is yellow and about monkeys. Vibrant interiors. Sucha pretty place to be at. Momos are average. The curry and beef were soo good. The twist to dessert are fabulous. Try them out. Valet Parking is available. Affordable menu good quantity.
This very brightly lit place is right at the main road but so so inviting. The food was made with a lot of love and it showed. We ordered the Chicken Satay, Lamb Ribs, Beef Cheek curry and stir fried morning glory. The meat in all the dishes was fall of the bone and the accompanying sauce and marinade were delectable. They dont skimp on the portion size and hence think well before you get tempted to order a lot. Between two people we ordered 2 starters, 1 main and 1 side which was more than enough. The Thai mojito did not live up to its hype, would really love to see thai iced milk teas on the menu. Would surely return to try more from the menu.
Been to many Thai food restaurants and never been impressed. This place has done what others couldn't Thai food like the way should be served and cooked as every single dish is made from scratch and in house including the coconut milk and curries.

The best thai restaurant in Dubai by far. The quality and flavours are very unconventional, if you want to try something more than the curries then this is the place to be. The mango salad was on point, the crispy wings had awesome oriental flavour.
Very welcoming staff, the food is consistent and so tasty — highly recommended !! Parking is free they give you vouchers for Green Parking in Murjan right next door.
The most Authentic Thai Restaurant I have tried in Dubai 💕♥️😘 The servers are very nice and friendly. The service is nice. We met the chef and he is super cool too! Btw we had Prawn Pad Thai and Red Curry Chicken! Yum. We’ll definitely be back to try the other food in the menu.

Really really nice food, we ordered the stir fry beef with Holy basil and classic thai green curry, good presentation, amazing flavours, Madelyn was very attentive and given us good suggestions, good service....also the chef came and spoke to us giving us some insight on ingredients like white turmeric was great experience
The best Thai restaurant I have tried so far. Rich and bold flavors. I tried their special menu item which was the Omani shrimps in yellow curry and it was amazing I hope they keep it in the menu because this dish is a gmae changer. We also ordered the green curry and the street style rice and both were extremely good.

Heard about this place from a couple of people so thought to check it out. The ambience is nice and spacious. We ordered the following:
- Spring Rolls: really didn't like it as it was soggy and didn't taste fresh
- Papaya salad: it was good but waaaaaaay too spicy. I do expect papaya salad to be spicy but this was way too much and over powered any other flavour.
-Green Curry: this was good, really loved the flavours
- Pad Thai: I enjoyed this too

Me and my collegues love to explore different and new restaurants for our thursday outdoor lunch. This time we decided to try "The Yellow Monkey". They are specialised in Thai delicacy. I have tried thai food in the past but this one so far is the best thai dish I have tried. This is a must visit if you want to try thai cuisine. I bet you will never be disappointed. Iam definitely going to revisit this place again and try out different delicacies from here.

The Yellow Monkey is situated at the starting point of JBR. Having both indoor and outdoor seating, the place has an interesting (monkey ropes and swings) and simple seating plan.
I was curious to know the concept behind the name but it seems it’s just out of fun.
They have some daily special menu so you may try that. I chose from the regular menu.
✅ Lamb ribs - 4.5/5 recommended by the staff
Extremely tender lamb with flavorful sauce and roasted nuts as garnishing. Must try appetizer!
✅ Pad Thai prawns - 5/5 yummylicious. Never had such amazing pad Thai. Flavours were carefully chosen and spice level was just perfect.
⁉️ Thai green curry 🍛 - 3/5 I usually judge a Thai restaurant from its green curry. This one looked very good with fine Juliens of garlic, red chilly and other vegetables. However, it tasted below average. Somehow it was more tangy and less flavorful (lacking coconut, thai spices).

👉 Introduce a banana based dessert (maybe banofi pie) to justify the name (Banana - favourite food of monkeys) :)

We visited Yellow Monkey on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. The place has a lovely ambiance to it with fun interiors. We had the Tom yum soup (good for 4 as a starter even though it’s actually a serving for 1) which was light and refreshing, surprisingly without any coconut milk, but very flavorful and tangy. Our other starter was the day’s special which was a bone marrow dish and it was incredible. The portion size was HUGE and it came with rice crackers to scoop onto it - absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the Thai green curry (chicken), pineapple duck and pad Thai with a side of jasmine rice and sticky rice. Loved all the dishes - could not tell you my favorite - they were all great. I’d like to add that the servers were fantastic, very polite and welcoming and kept making sure that we were taken care of and that the food was to our liking. The chef even came out and met with us for a chat which was absolutely delightful! We ended our meal with The Yellow Monkey’s original, fully homemade coconut ice cream dessert - in which every element was made from some part of the coconut. The chef himself served it to us and explained each aspect of the dish to us. I’m afraid we dug into it and finished it off before I could even think of taking a picture - it was that yummy. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be back again myself!
Amazing thai food. Great service. And top notch thai food for its price tag. Came here a few weeks back and Im now a regular. Love the red curry and pad thai as well as their fried chicken starter. Also dont miss their mojito. Super happy!

This weekend we were all craving Thai food so we headed to this place as we saw super gòod reviews on Zomato. We ordered the Thai chicken wings for starters which was nice but we loved the crispy betel mango salad. The Thai mojito and Tsym iced tea was very refreshing on a warm sunny afternoon. For mains we had the green chicken curry and angry beef with Sticky rice and Thai fried roti. It was aĺl good too. Lean was really nice and friendly and so we loved her hospitality.
Wonderful food, presentation, sauces. The dish I ordered had some hot peppers that were too hot for me, but I quickly learned to avoid them. Otherwise, perfect.
Food is great and they should be very proud if it .. deco is fun ??... , however the Speed of the kitchen was slow ...and only Italian still water available... hmmm really ?

I was searching for a new place for thai this weekend .. came across this restaurant on zomato with such a nice rating so thought of trying it right away. . Well we started with the phuket style wings and crystal chicken dumplings.. both of them were so delicious and flavourful. .couldnt wait to try the main courses.. we ordered thai green curry and pad thai .. that was also amazing.. really liked the food and the place too. The servers were so polite and also the chef came to ask about the food.. in the end we had fresh coconut ice cream it was so refreshing. This place has become my new favourite for thai food!!

What an experience! It took us forever to find this particular Sea Bass that's steamed to perfection in zesty sauce. Papaya salad also lives up to Thai spicy standards... Since I crawled into a ball and cried while my wife had a blast with the salad. #couplegoals

We are always on the lookout for new restaurants & found this lovely gem. The ambience was easy, welcoming and decor is very tastefully done with charming touches like swinging chairs, a swinging table. The staff was amazing! The restaurant was empty except for a couple of other tables, I guess because this was during the long Eid break, when most people were out travelling. Each of the dishes we ordered were delicious - this is a Thai bistro & had a lovely blend of authentic Thai flavours, with a slightly modern twist to it. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Crystal Chicken Dumplings, Chicken Satay, Pad Thai, Angry Beef, Spicy Chicken & Basil Fried Rice, Thai Chicken Green Curry & Thai Grilled Chicken With Sticky Rice. Even the dessert, which we avoid in Asian restaurants generally, was awesome - a lovely twist to the traditional chocolate fondant. Yummmm! see myself going there again!

Unique decor to start with. When we entered and saw the swinging chairs and tables it was interesting.. Staff is very courteous and we were greeted with a coconut appetiser which was to be had with a Beatle leaf which was brought in the by the chef himself..
The papaya salad was flavourful and juicy and as I like it.. the tomyum prawn soup and the spring rolls were delicious as well.
Then on to main course, the red curry was definitely more red than I expected but tasty.. the minced chicken and basil was amazing!! I guess it was hands down the best.. lastly it was topped with some amazing dessert ice cream which has coconut and caramel..
Overall a great experience!!! A sure try!!

We tried different Thai restaurants in Dubai (Thiptara, Pai Thai, Tong Thai). Clearly, the yellow monkey wins - with an outstanding lead.
The dim sums are super soft and tasty, the papaya salad had a beautiful fresh balance of sweet and sour, my beef massaman curry was delicious and the homemade coconut ice cream was literally cream on top.
Highly recommended!
PS: Ask for the relish in the coconut!
Genuine vegetarian options, no fish sauce! They even cook the veg food in separate pans. Everything we've tried so far has been excellent (red curry, mock meat in pepper sauce, both veg noodles, tofu dishes). A new favourite.
Went to the Yellow monkey for lunch. The ambiance was very inviting. Clean spaces with neatly arranged tables matching a theme of a monkey playground. The menu was fantastic and had an amazing variety of choice. Vegetarian options were plentiful. We had the spring rolls, dumplings and the green curry. All were exceptional and cooked with fresh ingredients. The service was also great with servers having good knowledge and very flexible to any allergies or modifications in taste to suit ones palette. One of the finest in terms of Thai food in town. A truly remarkable discovery. Will definitely be back to taste the rest of the menu. thank you Avi and his team.
Second time in three days . Live up to expectations! Fried rice is up to Bangkok standard and beef is extremely tender. The only slight downside could be the prawn in the fried rice , would be perfect if using fresh prawn rather than frozen one . Tomyum fish also taste good except the soup not hot enough. Overall very satisfied and will come back again
I have seldom liked Thai at any place other than Pai Thai and this place surely is way on top.. it’s flavours and experimentation both is awesome.. we had done a home delivery and our order included: Crispy betel leaf with mango salad, asparagus dumplings, Thai vegetarian spring rolls, veg Thai green curry and pad Thai noodles. Everything was great.. special mention of the mango salad, dumplings (simple melt in mouth amazing) and their Pad Thai.. simply loved it. The portion size of curry was ok to share between 2 adults and 1 kids. We had ordered 2 pad Thai and finished it all between 5 of us. As expected the starters were just 4 pieces of everything.
Do note their Thai green curry is spicy and if you don’t eat spicy food, you may need to balance it with something not too spicy.
I hear it’s even better to sit there and eat and will try that next time.
Food was authentic and tasted really good. Had the sour curry fish with roti prata and it brought me back to Thailand.
The restaurant also had some swings as seats to entertain kids which was a well thought out design. Will definitely be back!

Finest thai restaurant I have come across... can compare the taste and quality of food with 5* restaurants. Everything was at par. Asparagus dimsums is a must try, so is the tom yum soup. Right flavours n impeccable taste.. very impressed with the restaurant n this will be added to my go to thai place now..
Was on my bookmarked list for a very long time and we finally visited it last week.
Nice decor and swings for seating caught our eyes the minute we stepped inside.
Coming to food, there were 3 of us and since we were super hungry we jumped straight to main course.
Ordered angry beef, khao soi, pad thai, spicy chicken n basil fried rice, monk and tym tea for drinks, sticky rice with mango and complimentary donut for desserts.
Great portions and delicious food! Yellow monk is easily in my top 5 thai restaurants now!
Angry beef was too salty but other than that we highly recommend the rest. The drink named Monk was also great.
If u love Thai food, pls do visit, you will not be disappointed!

Yellow Monkey is a paradise for Thai food lovers. I never enjoyed the flavours of Thai food as much before. Their dishes are authentic and made with quality ingredients.
Let’s start with the ambience! It is to die for. Yellow all around, summery and so vibrant. Loved the swing chairs. It made me feel relaxed from the moment I stepped in.
Here’s what I enjoyed the most in food:
Crispy Betel Leaf with Mango Salad – Crisp betel leaves topped with coconut, kaffir lime and rose petals. What a unique creation!
Asparagus Dumplings - Cute green dumplings with amazing asparagus taste.
Thai Green Curry – The best Thai curry I have had by far. Loved the outburst of flavours!
Lastly, we had the Karak Chai Doughnut. Oh boy! Never imagined this combination. Cute little crisp doughnuts filled with karak chai. Mind-blowing.
Prices are good for the quantity and quality served. Service was pleasant. It was an evening well spent with soul satiating Thai tastes!
Never been a fan of Thai food until I visited The Yellow Monkey. You guys are simply the best in Thai food. The ambience is so colourful and soothing. Loved the swinged seating.

Nowadays restaurant is not just about the food and the taste it also includes the whole experience from how it looks and how the ambiance is and honestly this restaurant has one of the quirkiest interiors ever that I have ever seen and my favorite part out of all the swinging chair and table and the whole place is themed in yellow color and it makes the place very vibrant and playful.
They have ample amount of seating area both indoor and outdoor and the lighting is perfect both ways and the best part is that they have valet parking available in the same building and the hospitality was amazing from the beginning to the end and the service was on point.
Every single dish had a fusion touch to it and was presented really well and almost each dish had very distinct taste and very unique in their own way and a special mention for their freshly prepared coconut milk every single day in the morning which makes the dishes a very good quality and tasty food.
I started off with their speciality berry mojito followed by starters like paan fried tropical salad, chicken Tom kha, papaya salad, chicken satay, and mixed dumplings ( chicken, beef, shrimps, and veg) all in different color and shapes, paneer and beef donut ( must try), for the main course we had the tamarind tiger prawns, thai curry, mixed veg sautee, poached fish, lotus stem salad, beef curry, and steamed rice.
For desserts we had the new option in their menu Karak chai donut ice cream, chocolate pie with salted caramel ice cream and homemade coconut ice cream to finish the whole experience.
Overall it was one of the best Thai fusion experience I have ever had and the best part here is that they have unlimited dumplings deal on every Friday for just 49dhs and I would highly recommend y'all to try it.

THE MONK; dragon fruit sea salt and soda water. The tangy and sour taste ,so refreshing.

The Starters I had :
1.Munchies; Crispy betel leaf with Mango Salad -young coconut , kaffir lime and rose petals.
2.Tom Kha soup(prawns); creamy coconut soup infused with thai herbs. Hot fresh with such a large portion with aromatic taste. (Highly recommend👍👍)
3. Fish cake ; marinated shrimp special in red curry and baked with perfection.
The mains at @theyellowmonkeydubai is totally lip smacking . I really loved their presentation and how well the portions are . Each dish was totally full of flavours and different in each taste.
1.Whole steamed Sea bass in Spicy lemon dressing; chilli, garlic and coriander roots. (Highly recommend👍👍👍👍)
2.Black pepper Chicken wings ;black pepper,palm sugar and galangal powder. Sweet and kick taste ( Highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍, new to the menu)
3.Thai green curry Beef; Cooked with perfection topped with basil leaves, spicy and meat so tender.
Have you tried other #thaidessert other than Mango sticky rice!??! If no ,so you are missing the most amazing ones which will blow your mind !
The first one is for all the coconut lovers , if you don't love coconut, try this dessert it will surely change your mind.
1. Homemade coconut icecream with coconut caramel which was made by reducing the coconut water, topped with roasted coconut shavings. Most authentic dessert I had in my life.(Highly recommend👍👍👍👍)
2. Mung beans Donuts :Basically macaroons shaped dessert served with Pandan leaf icecream topped with coconut caramel.

Yummy food , went to yellow monkey for the third time last night ! As always the food is a delight, authentic Thai taste.
Our favourites : chicken & basil / pad Thai / chicken and cashew / green and red curries.

Apart from the bright yellow colors, you'll also notice the swing chairs that they have, which makes it look so different and interesting.
They've a lot on their menu. Some really interesting dishes as well.
I'd highly recommend the Tom Kha soup. Definitely one of the best I've had here. It'll take you back to Thai with every spoon. There's so much going on in it, which really brings out the flavors. So much deliciousness in one dish!
For the vegetarians, they've got mock meat, which is perfect, so you'll don't miss out.
They've got some crazy desserts as well, such as the karak chai ice cream donut and caramel tart with ice cream. Both of them are a new addition to the menu, make sure to ask them about it.
I also love how there's ample of seating as it's so spacious. If you're still not satisfied, they also have outdoor seating.

From the sea of Thai restaurants in Dubai, The Yellow Monkey stands out because of it’s unique dishes on the menu and the authentic Thai cuisine at its best. The ambience of the restaurant is so damn cute and quirky. The service is flawless and super friendly. Tried their chicken bokchoy, grilled shrimp cakes, Nasi goreng, donut with cinnamon ice cream (off the menu and complimentary), berry mocktail and tender coconut juice. The bokchoy was an absolute favourite. The donut ice cream was out of this world! It was so delish, I could eat it as a starter, main course and dessert!
Once again had an amazing experience at this cute little restaurant.

We live nearby and wanted to try the restaurant since it’s fairly new but seen very few people. We were pleasantly surprise with the service and the food. Super nice true Asian fusion. Plus super cool funky seating. The edamame truffle dumplings were amazing. We love it and will come back!
The recent change in the menu initiated by owner and chef Abhi has further been improved the presentation and flavours. The delectable sea food, fresh mango salad and Thai curries are outstanding and unmatched in Dubai. The Yellow Monkey, JBR : Beautiful place, amazing modern interior design and one of the best Thai food I have ever had in the past 13 years in Dubai.
The Duck Penang Curry, was fantastic, it simply melts in the mouth. Fresh prawn and grated coconut salad was crunchy and fresh!

Craving the delicious Iftar spread we savored @theyellowmonkeydubai in JBR. 😍
This was the first Iftar we attended this year since we decided to make the most of the reduced work hours and find ourselves a new apartment and move in too. 😁
The food served here was delicious and freshly prepared. Ps. They make fresh coconut milk and cream each day to cook their dishes! 🥥
The Tom Kha soup was one of the best we have had in Dubai. 🥘
The dimsums and starters were delectable! We recommend the Chicken Satay and the Beef Doughnuts. Main course was amazing too. Highly recommend the Thai green curry and the steamed sea bass in spicy lemon dressing. 🐟
That being said we have to admit, the desserts stole the show! We got to try their new desserts, yet to be introduced to their menu and loved them. Highly recommend the Karak Chai Doughnut and Fondant Tart, both left us mind blown! 😊
With beautiful outdoor seating and well thought out interiors, we highly recommend The Yellow Monkey if you are looking for a Thai restaurant in New Dubai.
Was here for dinner with friends today. Right from the ambience to service to food... everything was spot on.
The place gives a very happy vibrant feel..it's casual yet you like to dressed well. We were quite a few of us so we did manage to try many things on the menu and we loved each one. All of us agreed that this is indeed a great place to dine and with Zomato gold it's very easy on the pocket as well.
Do not miss this place.
Located in the heart of Jumeirah Beach Residence, this place serves finger licking Asian cuisine and some never-heard-before drinks!
Ambience:
As the name suggests, The bright Yellow and that Cute Monkey will brighten up your day for sure! They have outdoor seating as well and some swings to add to the mood.
Food:
In one sentence- It's finger licking good! If you are a fan of Asian cuisines then this place shouldn't be missed.
Drinks:
Being a fan of interesting drinks and mocktails, I loved the drink menu! The Dragon fruit drink was something that I had never tried before!
Overall:
Overall it's definitely worth a visit!

The most yellow restaurant I must’ve seen; The Yellow Monkey at JBR was a marvellous restaurant. With funky yellow and monkey interiors, this place is super welcoming. It had a warm and dim lit setup with charming additions across the restaurant. Started the meal with a date (Iftar vibes, not a date otherwise 😂) followed by a huge portion of Tom Kha which is basically a creamy soup with coconut milk, raw spices and a lot of veggies. It had the perfect blend of spices and hence was really tasty. The typical coconut flavour was missing which was a great plus!
Excellent food and superb service! Crispy Sea Bass with Mango Salad is a superb dish. Thai Mojito was good too. Excellent Thai food in Dubai. Mind blowing!
Had some delicious Thai food here.
Loved the tom kha soup, mango salad on betel leaf, chicken satay, tofu skewers. Do try the mock meat.

I used to like Thai food but now I’m a big fan of the cuisine in after having The food at this restaurant. The chefs are from Thailand and India as the owner of the restaurant is Indian. The quality of ingredients is very good and the menu is well-balanced.
At first we were served some drinks to break our fast along with some dates Followed by that was that Tom Yum car soup which was served in a hot pot dish. Generally Thai soup’s are too sorry for my liking but I fell in love with this one because it Hit the right spice/Tangy balance.
Green papaya salad or so after the soup and I liked the flavours in It too. The salad look pretty and All the ingredients Complimented each other.
The first starters not only was well presented but also tasted really good. It consisted of a batter fried be to leave served with mango to me toes chilli and garlic on top. I lead really liked the crunchiness of the live and the freshness of the toppings.
There were a lot of options for them Sims served to us like Red Cabbage & chicken, Edamame & Truffle, Prawn & Saffron& Chicken & Prawn Sui Mai. I am happy to tell you that all of them tastes exceptionally well But my favourites were the prawn and saffron dumpling as well as Edamame & Truffle.
They served us portions of chicken satay as well And trust me when I say that these were the best chicken satay I have had in Dubai. The peanut sauce was on point and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned.
For the mains we were served and assortment of different curries and an option of Vegetarian and non-vegetarian protein dishes. My favourite dish in the maincourse were The tiger prawns grilled and served with a black pepper based sauce which paired perfectly with the beautifully cooked prawns. I also liked the beef curry.The Thai green curry also tasted of fresh and good quality Ingredients.
There desserts were very innovative and looked really nice. The first one was a half doughnut filled with Karak Chai Ice cream and the second one was a dark chocolate tart served with salted caramel ice cream.I did not is the deserts but everyone absolutely loved them. And because of my dietary restrictions I could not tried the deserts, There chef was sweet enough to serve me a portion of coconut ice cream Which was absolutely divine.
Their service was also very prompt and the servers were hands on with their job.

IFTAR is the meal that breaks the fast during Ramadan and Dubai is having plenty of choices. While many of them serve the traditional middle eastern cuisines, theyellomonkey proffers a twist by serving the guest some amazing Thai cuisines.
Located in the cozy corner of Jumeirah, yellow monkey stand out in ambiance and I absolutely loved their furniture (especially hanging chair). From the delightful chicken soup to the brain freezing Karak donut dessert, I loved everything from this restaurant.

With so many dining options in Dubai, it is hard to find the best ones and The Yellow Monkey is definitely one of the best hidden gems that I would have missed if I had not gotten invited to it. The restaurant serves Thai cuisine but it is most likely different than any Thai food you have had in the past. Of course you have your staple and traditional items. There are some other dishes that I wouldn’t say is fusion but rather, the new generation of Thai food that is so outstanding and will blow you away with the first bit, which it did with me.
I loved this restaurant funky modern interior, delicious food. Everything I tried I loved. I lived in Thailand before so I think the spiciness was fairly mild but I was eating with a group of others so I get that not everyone is addicted to super spicy like me. All the ingredients were fresh and I couldn’t stop eating. Had the best meal, great surroundings just a fabulous evening.

Ive been here before the restaurant had opened for a menu tasting. For over a year I haven't been able to come back.
Call the restaurant for a valet, and parking woes should be alievated.
Funky interiors, comfortable, bright and well spaced out.
Food:
Asparagus Dumplings - super
Betel Leaf with salad - not on the menu, complimentary; amazing flavours with crisp fried Leaf and sour sweet salsa on top
Tofu Satay - not a fan of this dish, the tofu needs to be grilled or the texture needs to be adjusted.
Chicken wings yakitori - perfectly balanced, not super crispy, but lovely sticky sauce
Banana Leaf fish - coated with spices, quite nice.
Mock meat black pepper - mild spicy, if you like mock meat, it is quite nice
Stir fry mushroom bell peppers - mild flavour, subtle dish.
Fried rice - good portion for 2 easy.
Macaroon dessert - excellent, chewy biscuit, warm brownie, cold ice-cream. Perfect
Complimentary Chai donut ice-cream - very nice.
Overall the food is amazingly fresh. Fresh coconut milk, fresh meat, no msg, no preservative, no frozen things and it comes through the food. It isn't salty, no bloaty feeling and service is decent.
Price is a bit on the higher side, expect to pay 120 per head.

The minute you step into this place, you feel as if you are in a large play area for adults. Lovely yellow theme going all around and not to mention the many Monkey drawings. Forget about that, further to these you would see tables and chairs suspend from the top, where you can sit and enjoy the amazing Thai Cuisine they have there, gently swaying. The design, interiors and the smiles of the staff have already won me over and not its time for the food to entice me.
Started off with the Monkey BAE a kicking mix of blackberry ( the fruit :) ) basil and soda, Loved it.
Next we got the Prawn tom yum soup. They kindly asked me how spicy I wanted it and I told me to hit me with what they got and man they punched me. The soup was fantastic and spicy and this is the soup that I would want when I am down with a cold or a nose block, man this was a killer, loved it. The ingredients and a prawns used here was fresh, you can surely make out the difference of good quality ingredients and this was not frozen but fresh.Next was the Green papaya spicy salad. Again, I asked this to be spicy and they didn't let me down. They ingredients they used here is fresh, and top class and the spiciness was making my pores to open out, I was loving it.
Its time for mains now and we got a variety from the menu, the usual Pad Thai, yellow curry with beef and Haiananese beef. The portions were good, and the flavours were fantastic. Pad thai, was pad thai, they have left it untouched and it tasted great, The Beef curry was full of flavours due to the hair herbs and leaves used. Loved the full and wonderful flavours of Thai in each dish presented. The Haianese beef is like the Biryani which is served with a broth poured on top. Loved the first few bites and then the flavours took another turn, which I can say was missing something.
Dont know if it was due to the initial pour of the broth on top or something else. Will try again and identify the factor which I can do without. Overall, these guys have nailed it. Loved the dishes tried so far.

A MUST visit thai restaurant. Very delicious food. Do not miss to try the crunchy seabass with mango dish, tom kha prawn soup and the prawn coconut salad. Staff were very friendly and the chef was very kind.

I went to the yellow monkey with my colleague and immediately noted the nice outdoor patio, though it was very humid so we chose to eat inside. They have a wide variety of indoor seating even to include swing seats!(I didn't notice these until we were already sitting, so missed out for this trip).
Our food itself was excellent. I got the chicken tom yum, chicken green curry, and a pair of pan fried Thai roti. The portions are larger than I expected, and I ended up with some takeaway. Thanks to our waitress Madeline for an excellent time!
