Beirut Khanum is a great place to satisfy those cravings for granny’s forgotten Lebanese dishes. It’s a comfortable, casual venue located in the midst of Downtown Dubai. Besides the familiar Lebanese dishes we all love, like kebbeh in yogurt and moutabel, their menu had some traditional Lebanese dishes we weren’t familiar with and excited to try.
One new dish for us was foul bel zei, a combination of spinach and fava beans, simmered into a dry, tasty stew. Also, tiny meatballs in a cherry reduction sauce, topped with slivered pistachio. This had a unique sweet and sour taste. And then the herbs and halloumi which was perfect with the cold salads served to us.
One of my favorite Lebanese mains is always the batata harira, with a generous splash of lemon juice and doused in the fresh garlic sauce. Then the traditional mixed grill platter with shish tawook, kafta, and baked bread on top as well as the Basha Wa Aassakro, or yummy mutton and soft dumplings in a creamy yogurt sauce that was out of this world.
For our desserts, we opted for the Kunafa, the Halewet Al Jebn or soft, sweet cheese dough rolls stuffed with clotted cream, and finally, Nammoura Bel Ashta, or clotted cream tucked in a semolina-butter cake, flavored with orange blossom water.

I usually will rate a place max 9/10 if it was perfect just to keep to scope for improvement, but for my dinner experience tonight I must say BEIRUT khanom deserves 10/10 instantly after couple of bites.
- VERY authentic taste, very rare to find. The quality used is very fresh and prime.
- I ordered 2 dishes : Mloukhiyeh and kebé shish barak Laban.
Starting with the traditional adas bi hamoud soup, I thought I will never have the chance to have the taste of my mum’s soup again but they got the authentic taste. Portion was big considering it’s a side dish soup.
- then tried both salad Fatouch and Tabbouleh and I already loved the resto at this stage. Very well balanced dressing and rich ingredients.
- The shish barak with Laban : With all my love and respect i think it beats all the Lebanese restos I tried in Dubai last 12 years am in dubz. One Portion again was enough for 2 after having the salad and soup already.
- The desert was heavenly tasty and obviously high quality used to get this tastes.
- Regarding the Mloukhiyeh I was full already at this stage and tried it next day and of course as expected amazing taste that changed my mood to happy.
- The service was professional from the manager over the phone.
- Attention to details, they were attentive to send witch each dish and salad it’s accompaniment.
- Verryyy affordable and worth every penny.

Best place to visit , service , food , shisha are amazing
Starting off with the beautiful scenic location along with great interior & ambience that sets the mood for a great lunch or dinner. Moving on with the pleasing Arabic folklore music & kind staff. Their sheesh tawook is hands down one of the best I've ever had. All in all wonderful experience definitely revisiting soon!!

The Knefe was heavenly & the Turkish Coffee is one for the strong coffee lovers!
A beautiful place to relax & unwind with some classic Arabic music.
Staff were welcoming & fun to talk to.
So yummy shish tawook and the bread is freshly backed
I love their seating area outside and the view on the boulevard is just perfect in this nice weather .... the place is so comfortable and full of colors highly recommended
If you like to walk a little bit you can avoid paid parking which is close to the restaurant and park in Souq al bahar where you can get 2 hours free parking and have a stroll for like 2 mins to the restaurant
Great traditional Arabic place to have a dinner. Friendly staff too!
