Popped in for lunch and was a great hidden gem. Shame there were not more people there but the food was exceptional. Chef made us a Special teriyaki dish which was great and the crab salad was a must have. Will be back here for sure

I visited this place like when I was in Dubai in December! They serve really yummy sushi and they ain’t so sticky ! Real good authentic taste is sushi can be well tasted. I called for Edamame and vegetable roll sushi , good thing is they serve Veg too :) Service was also quick and really good. Happy to be experienced a good sushi place in here.

Was recommended to try the "best sushi in Dubai" by a friend and it did not disappoint! A great little place with fresh food made directly in front of you by some very talented chefs. The belt is always full and is replenished instantly. Service from the whole team is great and they are always happy to help!

I went at the resaturnant to have Japanese food but it's a big disappointment as the sushi is not up to the mark and the taste was also not so good. Ambience is average. Staff need to work liitel fast and they should make food taste more better.

Went there with a friend for the unlimited sushi lunch. We sat at the built and was more than disappointing. No Nigiri or Sashimi, only maki rolls. Even though the ads say Nigiri is included, the chef gave us 2 pieces and said it's from him and it wasnt included. you can go to a nicer sushi place for this price and have a better experience. Also, the chef's attitude wasn't very pleasant.

The sushi and maki rolls here are extremely delicious. They generously use spicy mayo and garnish with crab sticks. Really hits the spot for anyone who loves sushi/Maki a la extreme. The Japanese will be horrified to see what we have done to their traditional sushi. Regardless, the food is tasty and the only problem is that the mayo gets to you after the meal. Good place for someone looking for a heavy sushi meal and don't mind the aftermath. Don't get me wrong, I love this place, sadly it has weird opening hours/days.

Follow me on instagram: HighExpecTASTEion Cafe Sushi at Fairmont SZR is doing a promotion right now from 4-7pm for 120 dhs they have unlimited sushi or you can pay by the plate ranging from 15-30 dhs a plate. If you eat a lot then definitely go with the 120 offer. Quality wise it is borderline ok to justify the 120.

The soup for the Beef sukiyaki is flavourful and sweet, with a good mix of shiitake mushrooms, tofu and greens. It served with a bowl of rice. the chirashi bowl was good, portion is just nice for one, with avocado and tuna flakes on top. Taste wasn't strong, it could be too bland for those with stronger taste buds. I wouldn't name it as authentic Japanese cuisines. you can get a better quality elsewhere.

One of those days when it's way past lunch time, but you still want to satisfy an appetite that was prolonged from mid day for some good sushis.. Cafe Sushi opens right across hours till night time, so even at 4pm you're not the only ones lunching.. With the right mix recommended..from Dragon to Crispy Shrimps to Dynamite to Caterpillar..all did good justice to the hunger pang.. It may also have been the magic of a well complimented Blue Blossom Sake warmed up that accompanied well with the rice rolls. Cafe that is not about any ambience as such, just fill it up and go. Overall vibe: could repeat with the blue blossom that would be the first to be ordered..

We ordered crab salad and tuna salad..the crab salad was really tasty and filling.Tuna had something missing in it..We also tried prawn tempura maki and philadelphia salmon which tasted pretty good. I was not happy with my drink though.. got green iced tea which kinda tasted like jasmin perfume diluted in water..

Nice idea inside a hotel, a sushi conveyor with an "all you can eat " formula at a very reasonable price. The belt is not continuously populated and most of the plates placed are veggie. Its a nice place for a quick lunch but don't expect that much.

Really enjoyed this! It was quiet unlike all the other hyped up busy places in Dubai and the first sushi place to provide additional fish with each role (overflowing above the maki rolls). Had the seaweed salad (huge portion), spicy tuna maki, a custom salmon avocado roll, and the crispy spicy shrimp on a bed of rice. All of it was excellent - would highly recommend!! One of the first few times I left a sushi place feeling satisfied without too much of a dent on my wallet!

Best quick-service high quality sushi in the Trade Center area. And that's saying something considering just how much variety there is in the area! The belt runs with a good variety refreshed every 5 minutes and holds bottles of sake too.

It really is a sushi cafe. Located inside Fairmont hotel in shaikh Zayed road. It's a small place but the food is lovely. The staff is very courteous. We had the Angel hair which is tge soft shell crab , crab stick and smoked salmon. It's the Fairmont signature sushi. I recommend the Maki sushi spicy salmon or spicy tuna with edamame beans. They also serve Asahi beer :) why more dobyou want!!! I will definitely go back there for some yummy food and also for the courteous staff.

I was expecting a bigger place with a proper entrance to find out its s small cozy outlet serving one of the best sushi in town. I went there with my wife and ordered dynamite, philadelphia, crispy salmon skin, dragon, crabstick salad and the delicious tomato sashimi salad which was a bit spicy but just what I needed. Plus we had a special thing rolled with cucumber, I advise everyone to go and try it. Its superbly rolled, you squeeze the fresh lime on top of it, dip it in the sauce and enjoy. Service was ok but the sushi maker was so friendly and professional. Average food 150 AED per person, average wine 150 AED per person. I definitely recommend this place and we'll be back soon.

I was never really a sushi fan. And now I am. The place is calm and casual. Just perfect for a good sushi night. Philadelphia and Crazy Maki one of my favorite on the menu. Would definitely recommend to all sushi lovers.

We had a great experience here. Unfortunately, didn't remeber the name of the waiter, but he was really good and helpful. As we are not yet big sushi experts, we asked to be recommended, and left very happy with the choice. We tried before Miso soup in other places, but here it was the best! Surprisingly, the dessert was good as well, a kind of mango ice cream, not too sweet, so perfect for us! The bill was 470 dhs, a bit pricey, but it definitely worth!

For starters I would say this is the BEST SUSHI BAR in Dubai. My two most favourite dishes on the entire menu are: Spicy Shrimp and their California Roll. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and like another reviewer said once you taste the sushi in Cafe Sushi the standards are set so high that you are left with no competitors to it. I always visit the place whenever I can and I will continue to visit the place even more.

Small place to begin with, With no proper space between the tables.. Makes it a little crowded with only few ppl in the place. However, We had a very warm welcome from the waiter who was very cheerful and hospitable.. Moving to the appetizers, Sashimi was amazingly fresh.. The Prawn Tempura was golden and crunchy and the Edamame was perfectly salted.. I really enjoyed my experience even before getting to the main course and would’ve walked out there with content. The chef recommended the salmon bombs, spicy salmon and the Deseret (Orange , Grapefruit tart), while those dishes are being served I was already half way satisfied only from the great mouthwatering presentation of the rolls and those bombs... And UNsurprisingly the taste matched the presentation ... I would say the desert was my least favorites throughout my experience... the crust was made to perfection however the combination of the citric fruits with the cream was not the greatest. One thing that I really like about Cafe Sushi is that you can order different kinds of portions and not forced to get the min of 6 pieces in some dishes.. Becasue sometimes u really want to try bit and pieces from here and there and 6 pieces per item can sometimes limit you from the diversity in flavors in sushi, especially when u are 2 ppl or on your own. I would defiantly revisit this place very soon when Im craving Sushi.

OMG my favourite sushi bar! I'm a big sushi fan and this has to be the best I've tried in Dubai. The problem is once you've tried Cafe Sushi @ the Fairmont no other will do. Shame they don't have a branch in Sharjah. Great food, great staff and reasonable price point.
