Loved our lunch meeting at this place.
We ordered for following-
1. Hummus
2. Lamb kebab platter- was served with bread and veggies (one can even take rice and fries instead of veggies).
3. Rocket leaves salad- loaded with green leaves and amazing dressing.
4. Goat cheese salad- very well prepared salad.
5. Drinks- Ayran, mint lemonade and black tea. Very nice and refreshing drinks.
Overall a great meal experience.
So nice place specially in the terrace food is delicious also but they took much time to get what u ordered also staff is friendly ☺️

Aryan mint is something refreshing indeed but may not suite everyone's taste buds.
Food is nice. Mix grill and the meat. Is so yammy and tasty. But the food portion is little but it enough if you order salad with the main course
Kebabs are a must try in Dubai and this place are really good for it. The restaurant have really good ambience . Customer service is nice . Food quality is superb and I really liked everything.
Undoubtedly the best Turkish restaurant in town! Everything from the food, ambience, decor and service was excellent. We tried the mixed grill, Beyti Kebab and the lamb kofta and each dish was cooked to perfection. The lamb was so juicy and just melted in the mouth. Ayran; a drink made with yoghurt and mint is a must have to beat the heat in the summer. What is a good dinner without some dessert! Kunafeh and Baklava with ice cream will leave you wanting for more!!! And if you are thinking all of this would cost a bomb, it is quite affordable. Just wish it was in more places. A must must visit!!!

Obviously, you go to Dragonmart to buy cheap plastic rubbish that breaks before you get home... I was in in the market for a USB powered vibrating cappuccino frother with LED lights and a solar-powered massage bed for camping at night, when I stumbled across The Mahal. I was drawn to the place as I love Turkish food (all that meat helps me maintain by #gainz) and it didn't look like it would kill me like all the other food outlets in Dragonmart.
So about the place... food is amazing, the staff are brilliant - like the nicest people in Dubai who really wanted to help me. They even made us an item off the breakfast menu at 2pm which rocked - the Menemen they made us was the best I had ever had (full disclosure: it was the first time I'd ever had it but it was amazing). In fact, it inspired me to go home and make it the next day for breakfast. Mine was very decent but truth be told; theirs was better.
Great job guys - I love this place. Wish it was nearer to Dubai but the next time I'm in the market for a high voltage mixer-tap cum soap dispenser for my bath I will certainly pop in... top tip: Dragonmart 2 has free valet if you spend over 100 chips and this place really deserves your custom and you'll spend enough (just, it's not expensive) to get the parking for free.

We found this secret gem in Dragon Mart 2 by chance!
After spending hours in the mall, we were starving when we came across The Mahal. We ordered meter pide, Iskender kebab and doner sandwich.
Iskender was nicely done and well balanced. doner sandwich was good but I could only eat the half because I had so much to eat from the pide. Pide was the best of them.
I recommend all but especially the Pide. The team was very helpful and friendly.
Accidently stumbled on this place and the positive reviews are on point! The fresh pide, (Turkish style pizza), is made in a brick oven. We also ordered a spicy kofta, goat cheese salad, and kunafa. The spicy kofta was so tender and had a lot of flavor. The kunafa is freshly baked and isn't overly sweet! It's even more perfect with an apple tea. Can't wait to come back! The staff is professional and approachable. Great experience.

Visited this place while i was at dragon mart 2. It was a weekday dinner time and the place wasnt that crowded. we ordered for halloumi cheese salad, Adana Kebab and Lamb Shashuk. Halloumi cheese salad was pretty good. Adana kebab(beef) was served with rice, it was well done and my husband really loved it , I had Lamb shashuk which was served with fries and it was good . Service was good . Must say one of the nicest places in Dragon mart 2 . Defnitely they do have a interesting menu with varied options to try from . The interiors are nice, the place is well done , professional staff. would visit again .

When my husband told me about the restaurant in dragon mall; I was hesitant to go.. we ordered their Turkish salad ; was sooooo good and fresh ! I ordered the beyti kebab and lamb fillet whole, kofta cheese and Adana kebab. The food was stunning soooooooo good and price for this was around 470. I recom Nd it to be among the best Turkish in Dubai. Will visit it again for sure .

I went to the Mahal with friends for a lunch on a weekday. The place was not very crowded. Having been very close to their cuisine, the food was not great but OK. However the portion sizes were smaller compared to Dubai standards.
Very nice place where you can relax after shopping in Dragon Mart. Outdoor area is nice, friendly staff. Food is super tasty! Lamb shashlik and Iskender Doner are our favourite, never disappoint us. They also serve delicious complimentary bread with sauces.
OK.. here we go, staff was wonderful, food is quality, I think best Turkish Shawerma ever, bought honey and tea they have as well, I like the one-meter manaqeesh....

Excellent restaurant! The welcome prior to entering the restaurant and the service received throughout our stay was flawless: friendly, attentive and professional. The food menu has very good options and each dish is clearly described and competitively priced. The presentation also played a very impressive part and so was the quality of food. Really good. My only comment would be on the chicken breast that we found being a bit too dry. But other than this, a very pleasant experience overall. Highly recommended.

Friday is a big happy day for all, yestarday it was the first time to me to join a wonderfull Turkish resturant i have. All things was excellent, the stuff was too friendly with as and kind. I’m in love with the resturant and the stuff. I hope i could enjoy the meal each day there..😩

Located at Dragon Mart 2 and surprisingly theY serve really good turkish food. It was a happy accident to go there. We ordered one of their 1 meter long pitas and we finished in 5 min. In addition iskander doner, boneless chicken and we ended it with turkish coffee. A recommended place while at Dragon Mart 2!
A gem to find in dragon mall, the place is nicely decorated and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food was very nice, we had a 1 meter pita that came fresh and hot the main dishes were very tasty but some of them were of a small portion. We ended the meal with a Moroccan tea and a freshly made kunefa but honestly I had better Turkish kunefas. Overall experience, we were very satisfied after a long tiring day in dragon mart.
Food was good, staff was helpful and accommodating. Our waiter was Mr. Bayram. Specifical Thank to him for accommodating all our request. We have ordered chicken shish, boneless chicken legs and iskender kebab. We recommend all these 3 dishes.

Iskender kebabs are too good. Chicken wings are good but order them if you all the time on earth, as they take forever to come. Adana kebabs are another good dish. The one metre long pitas are great with different toppings.

I have two issues with them. One - the consistency and dishes, some times the meats are under done. Two- they take long time to serve the meals.
Recently been to this restaurant and the experience was a bit blank to be honest. Not worth the price and the service was also poor. We ordered the chicken shish, chicken breast grill and lamb chop. The chicken meat wasn't cooked perfectly, they didn't provide any sauce and it felt that the food was very dry.
I would highly won't recommend any food lovers to try out this place. I must say that the ambience of the place is very attractive. But the food seems to be disappointing.

The atmosphere is pleasant. I went with family. Everyone ordered different things from the menu. We had pitas, the famous Turkish iskender, kofta kebab and some sandwiches. Everything came except the kofta. The iskender was my favorite so far although a little greasy and the sandwich I won’t recommend to anyone. The unpleasant experience was when our kafta kebab finally came at the table. It was after we already finished all the food and for our surprise it was very raw. After waiting all this time and it was undercooked. We called the waiter and we told him that the food is not cooked and he snap at us like we are not telling the truth. After we showed him he still remained with a grumpy face took our plate and left with it. He came back in a while with the same plate with all the kofta cut into small pieces. They put them over the grill again so they can cook it from the inside. It looked like 3 days old leftovers. Very disappointing and no one wanted to even try it.
Even with this bad experience we went there again to eat from the Iskender. In my opinion it’s the best thing that you can try in their menu.

Its a very nice place for a family meal, recommended for dine-in. I myself am an avid lover of the turkish iskender doner and these people serve it authentic style. Havent had a better iskender than their's, thus far. I'll surely go back there to try other things.

One of the great things about the new Dragon Mart 2 is the addition of more restaurants in this location, and one of the most welcome additions for me is The Mahal. I actually thought this was an Indian place when I saw the name but they are very much Turkish. I've been here twice now and both times were great, however the second time they didn't have any doner chicken dishes as their 'chicken machine' had broken down and I was told was still in Istanbul being repaired!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is kinda urban/library type with some raw steakhouse touches, like the chalk boards and meat displays, whatever you wanna call it, its nice, warm and comfortable. This is also helped by the very friendly and accommodating staff, although I must add that sometimes the communication barrier is a bit difficult but that doesn't change the fact they are nice and genuine.
Right... onto the food, while I've only been here twice, we order like maniacs, and I can tell you that everything we've ordered has been pretty good, the chicken is always tender and moist, never dry or rubbery the lamb/beef while sometimes might feel a bit difficult to cut into, is bursting with meat juices and flavour, paired with the hummus (that u have to order separately), and the meat juice soaked bread makes for a very delicious meal. A special mention should be made for the vermicelli rice, this is probably the best I've had in Dubai.
All that said, I feel the menu is a bit limited, there is no kibbe equivalent like icli kofte or falafels or some of the amazing salads you get at other turkish establishments here, infact when I asked our waiter if there was any icli kofte or falafel type dishes the bewilderment on his face made me realise this was not a path I wanted to go down. The pide's also seem a bit less in variety, however if the fresh bread served after you order is anything to go by they must be amazing.
Overall, the food they do is fantastic, the service is good, and the juices they do, particularly the watermelon lemonade are second to none, if you're in this area and want a good meal this is definitely a place to try.

Whilst at dragonmart2 hungry and tired we saw this place buzzing not sure what to expect we entered looking through the menu.
I was so glad we did the freshness of the ingredients came through their food simple juicy flavors.
Their seats and interior are well spaced out so its definetly toddler friendly.
Staff are really helpful and super fast with service.

If you are a meat n bread lover go here. Not only is it fesh its piping hot and addictive.
The mezze was so fresh from the babganoush to the vine leaves served with puffy hot bread.
Chicken nuggets were not oily definetly crispy and moist with a good portion of rice and gravy.
Kofta with cheese was a perfect balance of meat and cheese see my pics to see the ozzy cheese n steamy kofta.
My toddler loved the avocado milkshake definetly didnt have ice cream in it was milk honey and avocado slurp.
Lastly I couldnt resist buying their turkish delight you can take a serving by choosing your own or buy a kilo.They were so fresh and soft and kept making me go back for more.

Had my lunch in the Mahal yesterday. Honestly, I didn't expect much from that place but this bread with mezze though...it was wow delicious. I don't usually eat bread, but this one I couldn't resist to try and eat the entire thing... Kebab was good, but not the best I tried. Worth trying and come back!
Stumbled on The Mahal and luckily so. My family and I had a wonderful lunch. The pita was beautiful and the chicken shish moist and tender. Lovely and friendly wait staff. Even though I live 25min away I'd come here just to repeat my experience. Well done team.

We had a wonderful turkish food experience with this restaurant. Amazing hospitality, very elegant decor and ambience topped with delicious food. Loved their pita bread and turkish kababs.
We go here regularly for breakfast & its lovely. They have a "set" breakfast menu that includes an array of items. We only order 1 portion between the two of us & we still never finish. The service here is outstanding (I'm very surprised to hear negative comments below)... the guys working here pay so much attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant. The Kunafa is literally the best I've ever had. On the other hand, we went for dinner once & it was good but definitely we prefer the breakfast.
Food are really amazing. Specialy künefe was so fantastic . I never eat like this künefe before even Turkey .I recommend the try lokum steak and pides and ofcourse künefe .
The stuff was so lovely , helpfull and professional. I like the decoration . Everythink was so good. Thank you for who make all this thinks for feel like in Turkey .
Although it was a bit chaotic because of Iftar, Ronald made sure that we are well taken care of. The Iftar set menu is a good value for money. A must try for first timers with Turkish cuisine!

The mahal was one of our recent finds in the Dubai international city and I must say what a lucky find has the mahal turned out to be for us! It is one quaint yet lively cafe - eating joint where you can relax and smoke the hookah for a couple of hours have their famous and delicious PITA.
The staff is very polite and very helpful, always on their toes and very diligent in all. From my visits to the mahal it had quickly become out favourite hang out spot I just chill relax and have a good end to our day.
To note - quantity, quality and taste of food served at the mahal is A1. The hookah are really good too, limited flavours but nonetheless really good. The Oreo milkshake was a bin runny and on the sweeter side but with a side of bread that worked well for us too. Their PITA is as can be seen from the pictures the clear winner in taste and quantity.

The salad was so refreshing , i like the combo of fresh pomegranate & greens. I would recommend the 'Lamb special', as It was juicy and tender also cooked right. Just the way it should be. Lamb meat tends to get hard really quickly if not cooked well but the chef did a good job. I also really enjoyed the crispiness of the pizza and the tender meat , it was called 'Mevlana' Look at the sizeeeeee, who wouldnt love a tasty gigantic pizza!! Must try. It was light and so delish!
Ordered baklava with ice cream for the dessert & Turkish kava for a perfect ending!

The Mahal is an absolute favourite for my friends and myself.
We got drawn to this place because of their famed 1 meter long Pita! Sadly, they offer only beef in the meat variety which I do not eat :( (PLEASE START MAKING CHICKEN PITA)
The Mahal also offers it's diners free Arabic bread with a salsa-type sauce. The sauce is bland for my taste buds so I usually season it with Red Chilli Flakes and Oregano! Another free item they provide is steaming hot Turkish Tea! You can have it with or without sugar depending on your preference.
So my friends and I settled for the vegetarian Konyalim: The Spinach and Cheese Pita!
This variety of Arabic bread is made fresh and served on a super long wooden plate. It is topped with spinach and cheeeesy cheese.
We ordered an Oreo Milkshake once but it was a little disappointing because it was too watery and barely had any flavour of Oreo. The staff tried adding some milk and giving it good consistency but that just made the drink taste more milky and less Oreo-y!
They are popular for their Shisha/Hookah as well. Their flavours are fragrant and smooth!
We also ordered the Mezze platter. It is a plate full of Turkish deliciousness such as Kisir (Bulgar Salad), Labneh, Turkish Shawerma, Yogurt and Olives.
The best part about The Mahal is their friendly and enthusiastic staff who are so proud of the Turkish culture and always willing to assist you with food items that you have no knowledge about.
Their bill comes in a fancy treasury box set-up!
Absolutely love the vibe of this place. Also, please ensure you sit outside to enjoy the cool and soothing breeze!

I've been to Turkey before, and this is a close second to that! Pure authenticity in this place, even their water is Turkish! I really wish this wasn't so far away from me because I only got the chance to go twice. But, both times I went with family, which means by the second time I can honestly say I almost tired everything on the menu! Their kebabs are just extremely juicy, with all the spices spot on. Their staff is incredibly sweet and helpful, and the whole decor is authentic, spacious and just a great vibe. Please try their desserts! They're stuffed with ice cream!

First Turkish experience at this place and I am impressed. The interiors are done so well with a library based themed which was antique and added a fine touch to the ambience.
Coming to the food we tried the fame 1 meter long pita in Etli Ekmek, hummus, Turkish kofta and a lemonade with Mint to go with the food. They served their special baked bread with the hummus which was so thick and warm and absolutely delicious. Labneh and a tomato based spice is provided to add some extra flavor which goes really well with the pita or koftas.
The flavors were perfect but I had a problem with something small which was the cutlery. The knives had been over used and had lost its sharpness. So cutting the meat was a hassle. But the meat was thick and rubbery too, so I don't know what to pin point exactly but the flavors were over powering. We had some Turkish tea and green tea to help digest our food. The Turkish tea was something different and nice after a heavy meal.
The highlight of the meal would be the Kunefe we tried. It was freshly prepared and an absolute winner. You must give it a shot.
