Dined in this restaurant after doing errands. We looked for available restaurants that used Entertainer app and this was the nearest one we found very accessible from the center part of the mall.
Anyway, we were satisfied with the food. We ordered risotto and pizza recommended by the staff according to our preferences. Enjoyed the food and good service. Would definitely come back.
My wife and I really appreciated our experience at Biella’s. Food was prepared well and on time. The location was great, on the ground floor of Wafi mall. Very easy to find from my point of view. But our most memorable and best experience was the service. Our server Maggie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She came to our table on several occasions to ask us if we needed anything more and if the food was up to our standards. It’s what we expect when we go out to eat. Thanks again Maggie! I go here quite regularly as it is close to my office. This is a great place to just relax and chat with friends it has a very good vibe. A little bit on the expensive side, my favorite is the Tagliatelle Al Ragu Di Carne, which is really tasty.
We went to this place on friday afternoon with my super hungry kids and their friends.
We ordered for 2 large pizzas. Kids were impatient. They were kind and polite to serve us complimentary hot crisp breads on the house. kids had great time gorging on their pizza with generous topping.. Indeed will recommend the place to all!!

Biella has the best ravioli in town. However, they are quite overpriced. 84 dirhams for vegetarian ravioli is 5 star hotel price- but the restaurant ambience is definitely not 5 star. Even soft drinks are 21 dirhams. In today's competitive market, they need to adjust their prices

Biella for me is a place for comfort food. We always choose this place for good food and ambience where you want to have conversations. Nestled in wafi , we ordered some broccoli soup , bruschetta , ravioli in pink sauce and penne in tomato and garlic.

Biella is an Italian restaurant at Wafi which is as old as the mall itself. It opened at around the same time as Goodies (now Wafi Gourmet) and is one of a handful of eateries which is mall based and, as such, not licensed. Khan Murjan is the third. Other notable Wafi restaurants such as Asha’s and Thai Chi are all based at the licensed Pyramids and therefore serve alcohol. Perhaps it is for this reason that Biella is one of the most overlooked of the Wafi restaurants. Yet it’s easily one of the best. Its interior is stereo-typically Italian, the centerpiece of which is an open kitchen which has a prominent pizza oven. There’s a small outdoor dining area which has a magnificent view of…a wall, hmm.
Biella is one of those restaurants that has established themselves as one of my go to Italian restaurants in town; whether it be for an occasion, dinner with friends or even a business lunch; it never fails to disappoint on the quality of food. My favorite dish is the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, masterclass in getting it perfect

We went there as a family a week ago.This place is special to us as we went there in 2004 and then again in 2007 when we got engaged and it was so nice to go back with our children. We ordered the kids meals for the children which they enjoyed thoroughly. The portion size was simply perfect for them. We ordered the Linguine Piccanti and the Pollo E Funghi Pizza and both were simply superb. The service was good and the waitress was so patient when taking the kids orders. We sat outside taking advantage of this great weather. At the end my husband ordered a cake for my birthday and to our surprise they brought another one on the house. It made my day. We will be going back again for sure.
I was there for lunch at Beilla in wafi mall started with a prawn starter (name I don't remember it's sautéed prawn with some sauce)which was exquisite and the pizza(chicken with creamy mushrooms) not to mention it was yumm. First time trying Italian restaurant which I'm very happy that I had from beilla. The dessert was even better I had the tiramisu which was Really tasty and fresh. I love the service also. I will be back to try other dishes in Menu. I would suggest my friends also to try beilla! Thank you so much Beilla for serving yummy food.
It was my first time to visit this restaurant and i can say im in love!! The food is delicious and fresh , the staff is so sweet and welcoming and i would point out to Maggie for her great suggestion in what to order , she is kind and highly respectful ..definitely not my last time here i would visit soon .. 💙
Biella is a restaurant we have visited since many years - but have only got around to sharing a review now.The staff is usually always polite and courteous, and they are happy to customize a food item from their menu to suit your taste.The Risotto Al Funghi is a favourite - which we often ask them to do in a 'pink' sauce instead. The Bruschette Al Pomodoro, Margherita, Vegeteriana and Napoletana pizzas are worth a try, as our their fresh juices. The pizzas have a thin and crisp base. It has outdoor seating which is great in winter.Am always happy to go back for a relaxed meal out.

visited them during the week for an early dinner...starting out the ambiance was great...quite ..peaceful with its subtle decor gives a soothing feel to the restaurant...
Not too hungry..we tried their napolitana pizza and a penne pesto with some grilled veges.. this wasn't on the menu and made on our request...
both the dishes were quite good...the pizza crust was fantastic..fresh , light and crispy...
the pesto was delicious as well..the veges were very well grilled...

My top choice for Italian cuisine in dubai. What's stayed back is in 2008 they had the dough machine where the pasta & spaghetti was freshly made. Have enjoyed multiple luncheons here and love to visit it on an ongoing basis
Well presented quality Italian Food
The Languine Al Cartoccio was really delicious and creative with the bread cover. The taste was rich and soaking the bread in sauce made it tastier.
The Costada Di Vitello Alla Grigla is something special bit the veal was a bit chewy. The chicken of the Galleyo Alla Grigla was nicely marinated. These two plates are recommended and they are well presented.
The place has indoor and outdoor seatings and staff are friendly
Excellent Italian fare! I had the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese and I am definitely going back for that one! They have a new menu as of 01 Nov and regrettably the seafood Marinara is discountinued but there are a few interesting new ines. There were a few Biella's scattered around Dubai, apparently most were franchises and are no longer around. This is very different and is the real deal. Highly recommend it if you like a good Italian meal. Its on the ground floor next to Rivoli and not where the other restaurants are. The service staff were effecient and friendly.

I love the location and ambience of the Biella in Wafi most.
The food is good, I usually order them grilled salmon, it comes with some roasted veggies. Healthy, hearty and tasty!
Not a usual place that comes to mind when I want to do Italian but I'd definitely recommend it for people to try.
Anything I order in the menu is satisfyingly delicious! This is my favorite Italian Restaurant. They serve authentic Italian pastas and pizzas. My most frequently ordered dishes are seafood linguine and chicken with mushrooms. No matter how many times you order and eat there, you'll never ever leave disappointed.

I went to Biella on a Friday, around 2pm. The place itself is beautiful and has a pleasant seating outside... I was warmed by the hearty welcoming from the staff and they were friendly throughout. The restaurant wasn't too crowded and they played serene music.
I was greeted with a complimentary bread basket which was crispy, soft and scrumptious and sided with a small finger food of buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and olives.
I ordered the 'Fileto de Cernia' and the 'Fileto di pollo'. The first dish, was a olive and herb crusted hammour fillet with was perfectly cooked and the crust was deliciously scrumptious and crisp. It was served with potatoes, rosemary and tomatoes which complimented the fish very well. The second dish was a well baked chicken breast with mozzarella oozing in the center with and olive paste and sundried tomatoes which gave a decent tartness. It was served with delicious creamy mashed potatoes and a tomato and herb sauce.
I was very content with the meal and the prices were quite reasonable. Since it is an Italian restaurant, they do offer pizzas and pastas which I have tried before and can say they are quite remarkable and they take my tastebuds back to my holiday in Italy.

This restaurant was alright. I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Calabrese which had a good amount of meat and a tasty sauce, but nothing that really stood out in taste. I ended up putting Parmesan on it to add a bit more flavor. Someone in the group ordered Ravioli and did not eat it because it tasted undercooked. They did comment that the sauce was pleasant though. The service could have been better as we only got our drinks after about 20 minutes of waiting. We ordered them when the food arrived and got them after we were done. I might go again, but it was not the greatest.
One of the best restaurants that I have been too, amazing food and service, friendly and helpful staff. Everything was just perfect, I would definitely encourage my friends and family to visit this place and will for sure visit this place often.
Very nice food and very old restaurant but it closed some outlets ,it's over priced and I think need to expand again,service was not like before (keep old service and prices customers will return)

My sister and I were in Dubai at Wafi mall. So we decided to try some Italian food. A friend of mine recommended this place.
We ordered the pizza Biella. Linguine piccanti and linguine al cartoccio, food was good , the staff were friendly and helpful and so was Shawn, he was polite , courteous and helpful. Made us feel very comfortable. Will for sure visit this place often. Can't wait to get back 😎❤

Biella is a nice Italian restaurant owned by a Sheikh with Italian chefs and Italian Manager.
Once we arrived at the restaurant we were warm heartedly greeted by the staff and also the manager Dante.
He offered us to choose to sit inside or outside. We chose to sit outside where we cld. enjoy the beautiful weather sitting underneath a tree.
As a Starter we ordered Crochette al Formaggio, which came with a selection of different kinds of breadsticks, bread rolls and some very thin, crunchy bread. It was nicely crunchy outside but warm, melting in your mouth in the inside. Super delicious!
Also (especially) the breadsticks.
For the main course we shared the Veal Costelleta which was huge and more than enough for two females.
During the courses the staff (&also The manager) always came by
again to check on us or refill our water.
They were attentive and very friendly.
We chose Tiramisu as a dessert - which was just heavenly - one of the best I ever had so far!
For drinks we ordered mint lemonade(there are better ones than this... ), water and tea.
In all it was a very pleasant, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with great food and great staff. Would def. come back again!

We used the kids voucher given from santa in the mall, we choose biella as we love italian food. The seafood pasta was great and pizza i guess one of the best i ever tried before in dubai. We really enjoyed the lunch in the terrace outdoor. The lady who served us was really friendly as the entire staff. Discovered another place to eat italian food. Excellent!
Biella a place I have been visiting since a few years now when ever I want to have Italian. A restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating(smoking and non smoking) with easy parking availability.
The ambience on the outdoor is really amazing with soft music playing in the back ground.
My regular order always is their Spinach Ravioli in pink sauce. As soon as your seated they serve fresh hot assorted hot bread basket with balsamic vinegar.
We ordered for Bruschetta Pomodoro for appetizers and Spinach Ravioli for main course along with English Tea & Tiramisu for deserts.
To my surprise the Bruschetta Pomodoro was served with only 3 pieces which was a disappointment.
Spinach Ravioli as always was served hot and fresh with a mix of Red & White sauce.
Over all their Menu consists of a lot of variety and fairly priced compared to other Italian Restaurants of such caliber.
Food is very nice, especially if you try osobucco pasta and various meat options. We also had red snapper, but didn't really enjoyed the way it was cooked (nothing wrong with the meal, just way of cooking is steaming the fish with onions and lemon). Beware the portions are really big, so come hungry! :)))

Biella was pretty much one of the pioneers of Italian casual dining and they aced it as they served some of the most authentic Italian in town with a nice ambience and great service. Biella at Wafi used to be packed for many years after they opened, with often having to wait a while before you could get a table.
However, over the past few years they have taken a hit due to the stiff competition, also their food has taken a dip, due to which, you don’t see them as busy.
They still offer a nice menu and a wide variety for Vegetarians too and a nice mocktail variety as well. Food still tastes pretty decent but not as great as it used to be.
Their staff and service are still as nice as before, very polite and courteous. Hope they can bring back the love into the food ☺.
Biella is always good for a good Italian meal. Be it a Spinach Raviolli or their grilled chicken breast, they have a great variety of dishes. I do not recommend their calzone from the DCC branch though. Tried their Wafi branch and opted to sit outside. Loved their decor and calm atmosphere. The pizza and pasta was made to perfection and tastes great with a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese and freshly ground pepper.
When I come across anything Italian, the first two things that come to mind are pasta and Tiramisu followed by handbags.
Yes, quite a weird combination but can you blame me? Tiramisu is native to Italy and I'm not one to favor coffee but I make this dessert an exception. Having said that, I paid Biella Restaurant a visit. For the longest time, I assumed Biella specialized in seafood but I stand corrected.
To start the evening, we ordered tall glasses of fruity concoctions known as Fruitti Di Bosco, a perfect combination of mixed berries, mint and lemonade. The Cocktail Di Frutta is the perfect blend of tropical fruits- orange, mango, guava, bananas with a splash of grenadine syrup.

Amongst the bunch of restaurants in Wafi, Biella stands significant to accommodate Italian flavors in the town for diverse cultures who are ready to delight their taste buds. We had the pleasure of experiencing a memorable dinner in Biella. With its entrances from either sides and a widespread seating arrangement outside with a small rockery & special smoking and non smoking zones best suited for winter days to enjoy the Italian flavors. The restaurant ambience is quite calm with a soft effect of dim lights. Variety of cheese and salads display on one side in a counter and a natural touch in ornamentation has been done with festoons of onions and garlic . Live cooking counter is contiuously busy with the chefs rushing to deliver orders and showing their expertise.
A fresh new look to an established restaurant in the UAE. I haven't tried Biella until recently and I felt that I missed a lot :o
We tried a wide range of items from their menu: the cured fresh salmon with citrus was the highlight of the starters. I also had juicy and crunchy bruschettas. I am not usually a fan of bruschetta but this one was delicious! Oh I forgot to mention the fresh buffalo mozzarella favored with green pesto served with romaine tomatoes or what they call it as caprese salad, it was a much needed insalata.
Then came a hot marinated lamb rack in Rosemary sauce: the meat was well picked, tender and juicy.
Al finale, it was the moist tiramisu which was a well deserved treat after the rounds we had before. It might trigger me to go back just for that :p
A nice revamped place at Wafi you could pop in for lunch or diner outdoors when the weather permits.

Very rarely are you able to locate restaurants spiking from its roots and known for its authenticity but Biella is truly a hidden Italian gem! The service was impeccable and the food scrumptious. We started off with a light serving of Calamari Fritti crisped and battered to perfection in a gorgeous golden twinge and a mouthwatering serving of Gamberoni All'aglio (shrimps). For main course, the freshly rolled gnocchi in a savory Carbonara and Arabiatta sauce is a must and for a serving of two people, the classic Ravioli Di Ricotta is a perfect balance. Since we love anything creamy, we opted for the rich Rigatoni Alla Calabrese... Oh that beef sausage was delish! Lastly, for dessert, we placed a guilty order for a dense, moist and refreshing slice of Tiramisu and a light tangy Panna Cotta.
If you're keen on preparing your own Pasta, Biella has got it's own selection station of sauces and pastas to help you recreate the dishes ! All in all, an original experience and soulfully appetizing food!
Biella was really quiet and relaxing. It wasn't really busy at night, which was great too me. The waitress was extremely kind and really caring. The outside decor was simple and there was a lot of space. We had ordered three dishes and a drink to share. The dishes tasted fantastic, I had the Gnocchi Alfredo and it tasted amazing, the portion was quite big and very filling, the cream sauce was really good and it had the right amount of spice, as I asked the chef to make it a bit spicy. I would definitely visit Biella again.
went to have lunch here with the team for our quarterly social. i ordered the grilled salmon and acevita. the salmon was very good and the spicy eggplant underneath it was amazing. the chocolate mousse that my colleague ordered was very good as well.
One of the restaurants I used to visit frequently in Abu Dhabi. Their ravioli with spinach and pesto in cream sauce is my favourite. Their veg pizza has a nice thin crust which is a must try. In cocktails, picaso and bella vista are my personal favorite. I would highly recommend the picaso in drinks and the panna cotta in dessert.
I just love this branch. The staff are so friendly and the outdoor seating is calming and beautiful.
Their food is always on point. I tried their pizza's several times and on my last visit i tried the torta ricca di cioccolato which is basically a very velvety mousse layers with spongy chocolaty juicy chocolate cake. It is a must try!!!!
Having eaten regularly at Biella in Time Square Centre and MOE, I could feel it was a step up with a nicer atmosphere, better menu presentstion and higher prices for nominally the same dishes. But it was worth it, I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken breast with mash, and my friends' pasta and salmon dishes were equally good. Excellent spot!
