Indian food has always been one of my favorite cuisines and when I heard the name Vineet Bhatia I knew I had to try it. Walking in you notice the beautiful decor which reminds you that you are welcome into the restaurant which I feel is very important. There is also jazzy music which really makes it feel fun. But that is just the start of this amazing experience because you south I dian feast is just beginning. I tried a dosa which was really tasty but for my personal preference I would have like a bit more crunch on it but that’s just my personal preference and literally the only flaw in the meal. I had tried the butter chicken which was nice and creamy and the chicken was really flavourful. The Alloo Ghosht (or potato and goat curry) was divine. Meat was super tender and the potatoes had a really nice texture to them. I also loved the bone marrow which was super creamy and added a nice little texture to the curry. The prawn chilli was my favorite dish because it had the right amount of spice, prawns cooked perfectly and the gravy was very flavourful. The burnt aubergine spinach was divine. For my first time trying aubergine it was truly a time that I will remember with such pleasing thoughts. The seekh kebab was delicious, filed with flavour and lots of love which is exactly what you want to see from a kebab. For desert, I tried the purple carrot and chocolate samosa with a sweet carrot purée which at first might see a bit weird of a combination, trust me it’s divine. You can’t really taste one ingredient unless you take time and taste each component which makes it feel like it’s a different ingredient itself which makes it feel special. I also tried tamarind biscuits which had the perfect ratio of biscuit to sugar. Overall dinner was amazing, delicious food, extremely helpful and friendly staff who are always ready to give you recommendations and help on what to order, and a great ambiance which makes a perfect meal. Definitely a recommendation for all foodies who love Indian food. Big thumbs up from me and I will definitely return for another great meal!!!!

We went to Indya for my wife's birthday. The interior is very inviting, stylish yet not overbearing. Food, no surprise, was amazingly delicious with a burst of flavours in every bite. The cocktails brought back memories of India and were fantastic. Great service too. It was perfect.
The staff is lovely and so is the place! Special shoutout to the lamb kofta biryani which was so succulent! And the chocolate golgappas are a must try as well! Overall the food and service is great !
A Michelin star chef restaurant that speaks for itself with it's authentic and extravagant interiors. The staff is courteous and was really forthcoming to our requests on drinks and food. The dahi Puri is a must try as it gives Mediterranean twist to the traditional Indian cuisine. Will highly recommend to try their starters and drinks with Indian twist, moreover the ambience is amazing. For my wife's bday, the staff had a special happy bday of choc powder and a santa cap made of kaju barfi. Must try indian restaurant.
Visited this place for lunch with dad and my brother as he’s a die hard fan of Vineet Bhatia . The ambience, decor and service of this place is TOP NOTCH. For food we ordered : raj puri chaat, charcoal sev papdi, paneer starter, Kerala fried chicken, chowpathy bhaji pea paniyaram, lamb biryani, churra paratha, paneer main course and we completed our meal with pucha bevda.
My personal favorites were : raj puri chaar, charcoal Dev papdi, the paneer starter and main course, the biryani and the churra paratha and highly recommend the puchka bevda. I didn’t quite like the kerala fried chicken and the pea paniyaram . However I highly recommend this place .
Inspired by a young and vibrant India, Indya offers finger-licking plates designed for sharing, employing colloquial cooking techniques in a menu arranged by the sourcing of ingredients, tapping into the elements - from the earth, from the land, from the sea and from the Halwai - making the typical starter, main and dessert format redundant.
I want to thank you so much to the team of Indya and especially to Johar for making my birthday really special tonight! I’m strictly lactose intolerant and it’s not easy to dine outside, let alone have Indian cuisine. Not only did they have a specially crafted lactose free menu, but Johar was extra attentive to ensure that I wouldn’t have by mistake any other dishes ordered by my family members.
Food was absolutely spectacular and very rich in taste! Cocktails were also wow - I loved the recommendation from Johar. In general, if you love gin - this is your place to go!
Thanks to everyone again and I’m definitely coming back!

After watching Final Table I wanted to try Chef Vineet's food. I was excited when I found out he had opened Indya in Dubai and knew I had to go try out the food for myself.
I finally had the opportunity to have dinner last night at his restaurant and I now know why he is a Michelin-starred Chef.
From their Chaat Trolley we ordered the Bombay Bhel which was recommended by our server as one of their very spicy starters. We loved the flavors but, we did not find it spicy at all. It was the right amount of tanginess which alot of restaurants fail to achieve.
For main course, we ordered the Pressure Cookerwala Mutton Aloo Ghost, Keralan Chilli Beef Fry & Monty's Egg Fried Rice (recommended by our server).
Each dish had its own unique flavors which made us savour every bite a little more. We really enjoyed the mix of the Chinese Fried rice with the Indian curry. The meat and beef were both cooked to perfection. Being from South India, the chilli beef did not taste anything like a Kerala beef fry and tasted abit like a Chinese beef fry. Even though it was not exactly like a dish from Kerala it still tasted really good.
We definitely could not leave this restaurant without trying out their twist to Indian desserts so, we ordered the Puckha Bevda. This is essentially like a sweet version of Pani Puri. It was the puri with some Halwa stuffing with chocolate drizzled on the top of the Puri. This was accompanied with a bowl of Rabdi. The combination went so well together and if we had more space in our stomachs we would have had another plate.
The food was very rich in flavor and just like something you would eat at home. When I looked at the Mocktails I wanted to try something with Kacha Aam. The only drink they had was like a Gol Gappa which I did not really feel like having. So, our server without declining said he could tweak the drink and make it the way I wanted it. This is something a lot of restaurants do not do and it was very much appreciated.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family who are looking for a nice Indian restaurant for special occasions. The only thing is the food is a little over priced for the portion size. If they reduce the prices or increase the portion sizes a little it would make a huge difference.

I have tried so many Indian Restaurants in Dubai, honestly this one has been most creative Resturant beautiful ambiance, colors art everything is simply gives you vibes of true India, now let’s discuss food I was already speechless when I saw my starters so beautiful color and taste was at the top, they make sure to focus on the favors and taste and the cocktails were something that I never tried before , names are so interesting and playful touches service is at the best staff are so attentive I am definitely come here again and again

Loved the place. I'm not an expert on Indian food nor do I have it regularly. The dishes catered to our palate, they all had flavors I'm not used to but were Al well balanced (not too spicy not too gooey, not too...)
The place had a good amount of natural light (we went for lunch) and amazing decor.
Fabulous... Vibrant and picking innovatives starting from the interiors untill the way how the food is served ... Been with Chef vineet's outlets before .. but this is classy and stays apart ... Thank you to Chef Sachin and Bhim for making our anniversary night memorable
A passage through the culinary delights of 'Indya' by well known Vineet Bhatia was gastronomic journey taking you through the union of street food with fine dine.A great welcome by 'Archana' fondly called Aunty guided us through the exquisitely designed settings. Brew collections were unusual and recommendation by Ruby were something which we never had before. Suggestions on dishes by Bhim Singh aka Chotta Bhim were exceptional and each one of them did not disappoint us. Treats like Raj Puri Chat, Charcoal Sev Papdi, Sabudhana Kabab were innovative and yummy. Tried the Vegetable Biryani and burnt aubergine spinach which were wonderful. For the deserts we were again surprised by Chotta Bhim which was exotic and unlike.
Thank you Vineet for a great treat delightfully served by Archana, Bhim Singh and Ruby. We will be back soon.

Service is excellent too which takes overall fine dining experience to next level.
We ordered three veg starters 1) Cauliflower based 2) Aloo Tikki one and one more I can’t recall and all three were very nice.
Ordered white wine, Jaljeera and Butter Milk and all of them were excellent.
Ordered Daal Tadka and Methi Paneer in main course and found both of them to be average.
Ordered two desserts one of them was based on gulab jamun, ice cream and falooda and it was nice.
Portion size is quite small and is bit disappointing.
Overall great experience and slightly bigger portion size would make it even better.

The tasting menu for AED 250 is perfect: plenty of different food which give a complete and yummy taste about the most popular Indian dishes. Portions are generous and service is good, however waiters interrupt too many times and continuously ask how the experience is going.
In a city riddled with contradictions it only seems logical that the paradoxical Indya by Vineet should be a hit. For some guests Indya will present as an oxymoron of sorts because the basic premise is high end street food. Looking past that and delving into the creative culinary twists offered up by Chef Vineet Bhatia and there’s a sense of genius to it.
Celebrated my birthday here, smooth and perfect experience no complaints whatsoever. Comfortable casual 5 star Indian restaurant.
Notable highlight on the service would be that the staff was particularly helpful while assisting our party of 6 in ordering, and in accommodating any 5 piece dishes to 6 pieces without any extra charges.
As vegetarians we found there to be just about an ample selection of dishes consistent with our tastes and preferences.
Ask for Chota Bheem, was quite passionate about ensuring that we had a good experience.
Visited this restaurant for my brother's birtbday and it was absolutely amazing! From the decor, the ambience, the service, the food everything were top notch.
We went for the set menu. As we are vegetarian, they were so kind enough to change the non vegetarian dishes to vegeterian ones.

Love the location and decor! Great for a delicious meal and a romantic walk afterwards. The restaurant is very rustic and quirky. Variety of veg and non veg options. Delicious and feels healthy. The chai comes in the most uniquely designed kettle. Chef Vineet Bhatia has definitely played around with the dishes and the decor, yet keeping the flavours real.

After a long while I have to say, I found a fine dining Indian restaurant which stays true to its identity and authenticity in terms of taste.
Great ambience, excellent service combined with amazing interiors leave you with a stunning impression.
We went for lunch and felt really relaxed given that we had the pool view in front of us. I tried the Vodka with raw mango drink – soooo fresh and tangy at the same time. Loved the burst of flavours there. Well done Chef!!! I couldn’t help but order a repeat. My favourite from the food lot was Chilly prawn on a bed of curd rice. Seems so inspired by Mahrashtrian cuisine. Deliciously flavorful. We also ordered Chapli kebab and Kolhapuri legs along with Chura parantha which were quite decent.
Had Rabri with rum for dessert. Again a play of different flavours here with old monk mixed with rabri to give it an eclectic taste but this one isn’t for the faint hearted coz it has some decent amount of sweetness.
We did see the Gin room too – see my attached pictures. They have a wide variety of Gin and tonics to choose from. Amazing concept!
Overall had a great time. Will recommend this place to all my friends and can’t wait to go again and try some more dishes.
P.S. - They also have those Pan Pasand and Jamun toffees which reminded me of my childhood.
With an upcoming birthday, the recently opened Indya seemed a good option for a celebration! The food was delicious…we tried the chicken with dal, seekh with gravy served on a crisp tandoori roti, coriander fish and aloo tikis. While the food is served tapas style, the servings are quite generous. Cocktails are different and interesting – loved the tiny tamarind balls clipped on the side of the glass in the one we ordered ( can’t remember the name) .
After we ate, we were given a delightful surprise - a yummy strawberry mousse garnished with sohan papdi flakes and boondi served on the house – and they even sang for us!
The décor is beautiful – loved the large Ganesha painted on the wall. All this accompanied by excellent service and ever smiling staff ! Overall a lovely evening – will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes and cocktails on offer.
Celebrated Valentine day @ Indya by Vineet and was vowed right from the time we entered till we left. The restaurant is very eclectic, chic with beautiful interiors.
The bar menu has a nice mix of quirky cocktails and not only look vow but Taste good too.
Food menu is very simple and straightforward with sharing plates concept and lives up to the expectations. The attention to detail for presentation is neat and clean and the taste is spot on.
All in all it was a well spent evening with right partner, mood, food, drinks and with the great presence of the chef himself Vineet Bhatia😊
With our foster dog recovering from a long overdue surgery (always spay and neuter your pets, people!) I hadn’t planned anything significant for the weekend. In the end, this was a good idea. Friday saw Hubs enjoying golf in the beautiful February weather which Dubai likes to offer, and me monitoring our little patient and generally catching up on things before a busy week ahead. Thus, having heard positive comments about the recently opened Indya by Vineet, I braved the marina (something I do on a bi-annual basis only) for a Friday night visit. In the 13+ years, I think this was actually our first visit to Le Royal Meridien Beach Hotel, which was clearly in the stages of the late late brunch crowd (yikes!).

Indya by Vineet is the second restaurant of Michelin starred chef Vineet Bhatia in Dubai. At Indya by Vineet, you can expect regional delicacies of India and the menu is comprised of tapas-style sharing plates where traditions embrace the contemporary.
Got a chance to dine at this place day before. Great interiors! Ganpati Graffiti is my favorite. Lets get down to the food. Awesome Biryani, amazing selection of cocktails. Ask for Bheem Singh as he has designed the entire cocktails menu himself. My most favorite of all however is the Awesomosas! Samosas stuffed with Gajhar Ka Halwa, infused with chocolate served with a Mango Dip! Great job guys.
Excellent fine Indian dining place. Food is fantastic but (probably and luckily for me) adapted to European taste. The service is excellent with good explanation of the different dishes on the menu, and the setting is amazing. Definitely one of my new - not traditional - Indian places!

Went yesterday to eat with family and was blown away with the quality of food on offer. It brought back my childhood memories when we used to eat on the streets of Delhi. Loved each and every dish especially the ghar ki Murgey dal barabar ... the service was spot on and the food presentation and taste was just brilliant. Pricing on the menu is quite reasonable and decent to the portion size, as the whole concept is based on sharing as much as you can. Hence I need to take my family back again and have another meal. The famous bartender Chota Bhim is also there taking care of the drinks and creating some exceptional concoctions. Need to go back there soon.
