Sorry guys, but the food was terrible. The wait staff were kind and attentive which saved the night from being a total disaster.... but the food was just not good. I had high hopes for the fried clams with garlic & chili, but the clams were coated in a sauce that was thick and horrible. The salt & pepper squid were OK, but had a very strange powdery coating ... not pleasant. The hokkien mee was not like in Singapore, which is OK, but it simply didn't taste good. The sweet and sour fish should be hard to mess up, but the fish tasted very fishy ... I just don't know how every dish was bad. Thanks to the kind wait staff for being friendly, but good service and bad food still makes for a bad night out.

Staff specially the manager is very approachable, chatty and gives great recommendations for food and drink. He do checks up on each and every table for satisfaction check. A hidden gem in Al Seef. The service is always excellent and attentive. Happy hour is a great value, and they offer a great variety of specialty drinks. Personally, I think they have the best mixed cocktails in Dubai, all for a reasonable price.

Went to get some exercise in Al Seef this evening and was delighted to find Kim’s open. We had a private restaurant treat. The food and service was amazing. We had scallops and 2 meals from the 2 for 1 menu. Kim’s restaurant is truly a gem and we are so happy you can get such amazing food during lockdown. Just had dinner at this place and first time of dining here. Quiet huge place with an outdoor seating which is a *plus* especially with the nice weather and another plus is a bar right from the reception. Lets get to the food, got tomyum soup for starter. Flavorful and aromatic as it should be. Main courses, starting with beef rendang it's alright bit on the tough side as for the meat and could've been more depth of flavor. Hainanese chicken rice, cook on the chicken was tender and rice was lovely. Got sambal kangkong n the side which is amazing, instant favorite. Overall it's a good meal. Got a bottle of hop as well 😁. The staffs are friendly. Thanking jason for the 💯hospitality and the other guy with him(didn't got his name). Eating at Kim’s Seafood Restaurant has been an absolute delight! It was like walking to a door that transports you to the streets of Singapore. It captured the energy, the vibe and the culture that is truly SG. The food is superb, and their service is commendable. A very enjoyable feast for the body and soul. Lets Talk about Food: Seafood Laksa- It’s served warm and fast. The noodle was so thick and flavorsome. The flavors, richness and the freshness of seafood combined well in a perfect palate. Crispy Cereal Prawn- Crunchy, buttery and has a unique taste with a kick of spicy chili aroma blown us away. Prawns were fresh and tender. Superb! First time to taste it. I highly recommend this. Sambal Kangkong- One of my favorites! Stir fried kangkong with an exceptional taste of seasonings that was mouth-watering. Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee – I loved the silkiness texture of the noodle with exciting umami taste of prawns was very enticing. It was goof for 2-3 person. Mango Mousse Cake - It was a delightful cake and had a sweetness that cant resist. The serving were impressive and better to share with friends and family. The staff assisted us well on our memorable dining experience. Kudos to the concept and amazing feasting moments.

We have visited Kim’s on multiple occasions and their hokkien mee never ceases to satisfy our cravings. Tried the beef rendang and sweet and sour chicken (kids portion pictured). Both was well flavoured and tasty, although beef could have been a bit softer. Will definitely return again!

We went to Al Seef after our office hours to just walk and enjoy the Dubai winter season and at the same time, satisfy our asian cravings. Luckily, we were able to pass by Kim’s Singapore Seafood. After checking their menu option, we didn’t have to think twice. We ordered laksa, beef rendang, stir fried beef, cocktails and house blend iced tea. Servings were good for groups and best part is they offered buy one take one including their drinks. Since I’ve already went to Singapore and as compare to their foods, I could definitely say that the foods here are authentic! It’s a must try for those who are in cravings for real asian/singaporean foods. Thanks as well to the crews, they are friendly and nice, especially Jayson. I love my Hokkien mees and this one was pretty legit - good enough to satisfy a Singaporean hokkien mee craving, if you’re into the more viscous style of Hokkien mee. An overall underwhelming experience, I must say. I'd been following the restaurant's IG pages for awhile, and the food looked super sexy in the photographs. Maybe it's just that I chose the wrong things when I visited last week with my friend, but then, there were zero recommendations / suggestive selling done by the crew. We had the Yu Fong Omelette, Fried Wings & Clams with a bottle of wine. Might make a great lounging / cocktail space, but I wouldn't return for the food.

Kim's Singapore Seafood could possibly be the best Singaporean restaurant in Dubai. I certainly think it is. Located a short hunt away from London Dairy ice cream parlour in the old quarter of Meraas’s Al Seef in Umm Hurair, Kim’s interior (including its understated bar) draws on elements and motifs of Singaporean society to create a warm, homely, believable ambiance. Interestingly I felt more of a down-to-earth street vibe rather than that sometimes OTT Singapore bling thing we got a glimpse of in Crazy Rich Asians. Perhaps that’s why I felt instantly comfortable when I walked in. There’s a lovely terrace with a view of the Creek for al fresco dining when the weather permits. This is the first official branch of Kim’s Place Seafood of Singapore to open in the Middle East.

While the ambience was good and staff was courteous and prompt, the food was really not upto the mark . I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time! If people walked past this in Al Seef, they would probably ignore it because of the unassuming signage. But when once you're inside, you'll love its vibrant, Crazy Rich Asian look! It's licensed, which is a big plus for me, because Singapore Fling! Food-wise, i absolutely loved the salted egg prawns. They also have salted egg crispy fish skin on the menu which i will try next time. The Pepper Crab... oh my. Bigger than my hand and packed with tasty, juicy meat cooked in pepper sauce, it was the highlight of our meal. It came with steamed and fried buns that we dipped in the sauce and stuffed the meat in. For dessert, the chocolate pandan fondant is my fave. Gooey inside and just a hint of pandan, which is an Asian staple! Enjoy!

I would say are well hidden in a Fort called Kims Singapore Seafood right in the middle of Al Seef. Passerbys wouldnt have the opportunity to have a glimpse inside unless you have made up your mind to dine here just by the name / brand / word of mouth, only then you would go up the fort and into this hidden gem. The only reason we ended up dining here is coz of the free samples they were offering down below the fort ( crispy bread in oyster sauce ). It was amazing , it made us go right up to see what its like inside. The restaurant welcomes you with a brightly coloured vibrant bar, then you walk down further into the main restaurant, with ample seating space and very hospitable, well dressed, cheerful flight attendants, oops sorry , waitresses. The food is tasty , the crabs are succulent and delicous, but too highly priced (320/-) . Noodles are delicious, but if you want to get a good taste of this restaurant , ask the waitress for their specialty. The managers were very observant and quick to assist, infact we had a manager attending to us and serving us, instead of the waitresses . His name is Mr Henriques, very jolly , cheerful , informative and observant, humble guy. I wish him luck and all the success. The place , location, food, staff, ambiance is all good.

Did I ever tell you that sometimes I get these insane cravings for Singapore style Chili and Pepper Crabs? Jumbo at Clark Quay remains my favorite, and every attempt I have made to try these anywhere outside of Singapore, I have been quite disappointed. Not at Kim’s at Al Seef in Dubai though. Went there for lunch, had the Pepper Crab and it was really delicious! We tried the singapore style fish as well, and it was amazing too! A straight four for their hospitality, originality and staying true to Singapore taste. If you are a fan- why have you not been?

It was a fun live cooking session with @kimsdxb. It is a seafood restaurant located in @alseefdubai, with a couple of delectable seasfood options. I loved their salted egg prawns and black pepper crab. Not to forget, their mango mousse was mouth-watering.

Have been thinking for long to dine here and it finally happened . Beautifull interiors ...energetic staff .... So for starters I ordered BBQ sambal squid and Fu yong omlete .... BBQ sambal squid was rightly balanced and cooked but dint feel any BBQ taste and sambal ...I feel there is a need for more justice to be done to this dish .... Fu yong omlete : not happy with this dish ...I have had better ones from street hawkers in Malaysia ..... For mains ordered chilly crab (spicy one as suggested by staff ) Crab was huge but not fresh .... The chilly sauce was salty and not spicy ... Temperature inside the restaurant makes the dish go cold really fast and I personally feel the dish was served without sufficient warmth.... Now the golden question ...is all this worth AED473??? ....Big NO ....👍

Visited Kim’s with our folks for dinner after wandering around Al Seef. The place is nicely done up, with lovely food and excellent service. We had the Hot and sour soup, Singapore chilli crab, egg fried rice and fried beef in black pepper sauce. The Singapore chilli crab was a bit too sweet for my liking but my family really enjoyed it :). The soup was delicious. Our other mains - the rice and beef was also great. We had a lovely evening coupled with great food and service. Will definitely come here again ☺️

The place is very calming and relaxing. The food though pricey was very satisfying especially the salted egg prawns! They have good cooks and food was very well prepared and has nice presentation. Chef King was very accommodating and prepared our food very well, the manager was very friendly too. They have a happy hour for drinks (buy1take1) so make sure to satisfy your tastebuds after a happy meal..

Great place to experience the Chill Crab associated to the Singapore cuisine. A lovely place with great outdoor seating and a wide variety of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages. The Crab is authentic and the portions are huge. The “buns” are served fresh and are available as steamed or fried and they really complement the crab. Other items are available. The pricing is great when compared to similar cuisine providers in Dubai. A MUST VISIT RESTAURANT FOR SEAFOOD LOVERS. The staff are courteous and are well versed with every item on the menu.

The service & ambiance are very good with their friendly & well-trained staff, and the view of Dubai skies but unfortunately, the food is not as good as what I had in Singapore. The price is also very expensive for the quality and quantity. Edited: I spoke to the Manager and he was keen to find out how they can improve the services, taste and pricing. Clearly, they value customer opinion - well appreciated. I reiterated that they have well-trained staff but could have offered dessert. I will go back and try their Oyster Omelette, when available.

The setting of this restaurant is excellent but the food leaves everything to be desired. The prices are in my view unreasonable and when we went as a family, the atmosphere was wholly lacking, with the fish (excluding very expensive small crab) appearing/tasting, or lack of taste being frozen. In summary, a restaurant I was very excited to attend and walked away very disappointed !!! Nothing good to say at all and wish we hadn’t visited. staff 3 our of 10, location 8 out of 10, food 1 out of 10.

Newly opened restaurant serving Singaporean food. The setup is really nice, facing the waterfront. Since we visited on a weekday evening it was quiet too. Loved the service from the staff and restaurant manager. The food was lovely too. We ordered pepper crab with some bread and egg fried rice. Zomato gold members do note that the crab and lobsters served are not considered in gold offer.

This restaurant is a true gem! We had a very amazing experience. From the first moment we arrived there till we left the restaurant the staff gave us a spectacular service. It was the first time for us to try Singaporean food. When I asked the waiter to take our order, she asked us some questions about our taste in food (I liked that, because it shows that the restaurant really cares about their customers' experience), after we answered her she recommended us to change one of the dishes. I picked another dish and when our order arrived we were just so overwhelmed and happy with the taste, quality and big portion of the food. Simply loved the food in here! We tried the fried beef in black pepper sauce, Sambal chicken fried rice and prawns and crab meat fried rice. I can’t rave about the food enough! The service is outstanding. The whole affair of going through the ancient stairs to reach the restaurant transports you to another place in another time. Was invited by xee. We ordered the crispy fried fish skin with salted egg for the starter, which is definitely what I highly recommend . It is a salmon skin coated with salted egg. The taste of salmon skin and the salted egg's combinations is amazing. For the main dishes Longevity noodles And beef which it taste good too.
