The service is slow that you can literally go and cook it yourself, the crowd is no doubt extensive but the slow service is not worth of cold burgers for sure. looks like They deal with the crowd on basis of nationalities, westerners are given more priority.

Black tap, the best burger and crazy shakes in town! I visited black tap when it first opened, queued outside for around an hour and it was totally worth it. I later took my parents, and many friends visiting from abroad. Basically, this is a place you shouldn't miss. Recommended burgers are "the texan" beef patty topped with bacon, cheddar and onion ring. My personal favorite is "the greg norman" a burger patty topped with blue cheese. Don't forget the shakes! Definitely order to share because they are huge! We were 4 and we couldn't even finish one milkshake.

Get your freak on! 🤩 Finally managed to check out the Freakshakes at @blacktapdubai and yes they did look outlandishly good. And while all the hype has been about their presentation (which is on point)👌, honestly we found the milkshake to be just average. That being said we highly recommend their craft burgers and delicious cocktails!🍔 P.S. This joint wouldn't make it on our affordable restaurant list, it's a bit pricy!

I always heard black tap was the best place for burgers in Dubai, so I went with very very high expectation. I ordered bbq burger and the angus beef, the first one was amazing but the angus beef should not be on the menu. Will definitely come here again and again. The wine choices were also good.

Ive been here a couple of times now and the beer selection they have is amazing and one of the best in Dubai. Nice place to have a drink after work or anytime. But the food is also a hit here. I really enjoyed the burgers such as the Carolina burger. I'll be back again to try few more beers and burgers to go with my sweet potato fries.

Very few Place where you will find Happy faces of children and teens coz of amazing looking milk shakes and Parents coz of Beer and awesome burgers. One of the best chicken burgers I had - Since I was there also wanted to have a chocolate shake after a burger and a beer , well it never finished. Great service and ambiance. Bon Appetit !

Visited the place for their main attraction the signature freakshakes. Ordered the cookies 'n creme superior oreo shake. It was totally Insta-worthy but pretty average on the taste. After a certain point it got too sweet for my liking. A pricey place with a waiting book to get your table. We had to wait for almost an hour! Pluses would be the magnificent view of the Burj al Arab and a great ambience. Service was ok.

I have been wanting to go to Black Tap for ages and I finally did. So here it goes I will start with the most important part, the food, we ordered The Mexican City burger and the Wagy truffle burger. We asked for one with sweet potato fries and the other with salad. To my surprise the burgers were average. The Mexican city was ok not bad but nothing I'd reorder again. The truffle burger was terrible, my girl and I took a bite at the same time and you can just see it all on our faces, here was some sort of weird pungent taste and smell. Now what happened next is what did it for me, the servers reaction. He was super nice came up to us and asked and the minute we said we didn't like it the manager came up, found out what the problem was and apologized and got us another order of choice off the menu- this isn't usual service in Dubai so I was impressed and happy. The ambience of the place is nice, it's too bad the weather is bad because their outdoor terrace looks cozy and like it should be a rooftop somewhere in NYC.

Personally I love the burger I love the pickles I love the area however it’s very expensive and not sure it’s worth it when you can get your burger hit from salt also. The shakes are too much a little over top and get messy real fast but if you love burgers then you must try.

Black Tap is one of the best places to get a burger in Dubai. If I’m not mistaken, this branch at the super-swanky Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel in Madinat Jumeirah was the first to open. Today there are two more, one at the Rixos Premium in JBR and the newest other at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City. All three have the same funky look-feel and are licensed. There are few things in life better than a burger and beer – yeah!

A burger joint that can’t get a burger right. Ordered it medium the first time, they sent it well done. Returned it. They sent a second one... well done again. Was promised a guac and chips in lieu of the inconvenience, nothing was done. Overall a poor experience, poorly managed as well. On my way to McDonalds to have a real burger... and it will cost the same price as a chip at Black Tap.

Been wanting to go here since a long time, and the place hasn’t disappointed me one bit. The sweet potato fries here are to die for, with the sauce complimenting their taste. A must try to anyone who ends up at Black Tap. The milkshakes are humongous and usually cannot be finished by one person. It’s a very filling drink with a lot of treats. Kudos to the staff who always inform you about the dishes more than what’s mentioned in the menu. Must try place.

Ambience and service is one of the best in Dubai. However, the food leaves you wanting a bit more in terms of taste alone as the servings were huge. We ordered 4 different types of burger, can safely say that the price does not justify atypical burger. Saving grace are the shakes hence the high rating, it’s a meal on its own and we will definitely be coming back only to try the different types of shakes again. The Shakes are so pretty, it can put a smile on any person of any age.

Came in about 2 weeks ago, to celebrate my best friends birthday and it was a terrible experience. The staff did not acknowledge us whatsoever, the reviews on their milkshakes were extremely high which is why I was very curious and excited on trying them! We’ve ordered the chocolate brownie Shake and a dynamite burger with fries. The fries that were served were very cold and the shake felt like it had barely any flavor. Just basic vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and brownie stacked on top with whipped cream, which actually felt like the majority of the drink was whipped cream instead of ice cream. However the response of the staff and the manager to our feedback just ruined the experience even more. Once given the feedback to the staff member he had nothing to say about it except “oh okay” which is when we’ve asked to speak to a manger, Peggy if I’m not wrong. Who instead of acknowledging the situation and our ruined experience just tried justifying the whole situation by saying “ that’s how our shakes are, we have a ready base and that’s how it’s supposed to taste” given the fact that we’ve mentioned we did not enjoy the drink whatsoever it felt overly rushed and flavorless. And not to mention the part where Iv asked for the staff members not to sing happy birthday, but they still have ... Anyways giving the feedback to the manager was quite useless and she did not even try to make us feel better not acknowledge the situation. Truly had very high expectations of this place, due to the reviews and Instagram posts, but clearly per the managers saying their shakes are highly reviewed and recommended through Instagram and photos however they’re supposed to taste basic and lousy ?? Very upset, please do contact me back as this was honestly not a good experience whatsoever. And the manager in charge did not bother to make it up.

I absolutely love this place! Ive tried out a few different burgers and this time I went for the turkey burger. It was an interesting taste. So juicy, perfect avocado and cheese topping, and just the right amount of sauce. The salad was surprisingly delicious too. Whenever you come to this restaurant, its an absolute must- have to get the signature shakes! Perfect for sharing too! I always bring my friends who are visiting Dubai for travel to this restaurant and everyone loved it. The setting, music, service, everything is just so lovely!

Its one of the beest burger joints that we visited. We ordered the classic american burger, the texan and greg norman. The meat patty was juicy. All the veggies super fresh. A must try here is the truffle fries! They are simply divine. The pricing does feel high for a burger but then then the quality and taste more than makes up for it.

If you’re planning to come here for a birthday and a shake, think again. We told them as soon as we arrived that it’s my son’s birthday. We even ordered the shake before the food and asked for it to come after lunch. We asked if they sang happy birthday and they said OF COURSE! Not only did the shakes melt while they were sitting on the counter waiting for 10 minutes for someone to pick them up and bring them over, but even after reminding them twice who the birthday boy was, only ONE waiter came, without singing and gave the birthday boy the wrong shake. hadn’t lit the candle. Nothing. They have horrible slow service and had nothing to say when I complained that they had ruined the only birthday celebration he was looking forward to. They comped us the shakes but nothing will make up for the totally anti-climactic birthday we were expecting, hoping for, or heard about. Never coming back. Especially for how unapologetic they looked when I complained. “Sorry ma’am we are busy”.

TLDR; Good burger but excessively expensive Had the all American burger. The burger is really good. But it's quite expensive at AED 75 especially when the competitors are priced lower (Salt, Shake Shack, 5 Guys). Whilst I appreciate restaurants mark up food and drinks as they must pay rent etc, AED 20 for a bottle of Pepsi is outrageously expensive.

I tried over their atomic shrimps it was succulent and mildly spicy. I totally loved their interiors and the staffs were very courteous and welcoming. But i felt the dish was quite expensive comparing to its quantity

Came here for drinks and a bite to eat. Ordered the Black Tap Wings, Guac and Chips and the Atomic Shrimp. The Wings were average and not spicy at all. I have tried wings at several places across Dubai and sadly, these aren’t anywhere close to being great. The Guac and Chjps were good, however, the Atomic Shrimp was the best dish we ordered. The flavour was great and we couldn’t get enough of it! Should note that the prices are fairly high for the food and I’m not sure if it’s worth such a high price. We kept it simple with the drinks and just had some wine, which was fine. A good experience overall, with helpful and friendly service and a pleasant outdoor ambience!

Stopped in for breakfast this weekend and enjoyed sitting outside. The breakfast menu has plenty to choose from, although I'd love to see a few more healthy side (fruit) available with dishes. It took a while to get our food, but I would still go back. Portion sizes are very generous - go with an appetite.

For Alcoholic drinks, we ordered the following cocktails 1) Tequila Smile (not so strong) 2) Rum Old Fashioned (Quite Strong) 3) Pisco Spritz (not so strong) For mocktails, ordered a passionfruit drink (can't recollect the name), Quite decent. For snacks, we ordered the Fried chicken platter and the atomic shrimps. The shrimps were a definite standout. Absolutely loved it, fried chicken and fries was nothing different, something similar can be obtained elsewhere as well. Good evening spent, while witnessing the fireworks outside for NYE!!

Was waiting to visit this place for sometime now and finally got my hands on the famous shake :) . I tried the Brooklyn Blackout Shake . This chocolate shake was totally yummy and worth trying for chocolate lovers . The size is giant so suggest you go with some place in your tummy . The service & ambience was superb too .will come again to try some other dishes.

Their food is really good unfortunately didn’t have the pictures. On desert side amazing shakes they serve 5/5 never had any better than this and staff is so kids friendly.

Hoggers In Dubai

I'd heard a lot about the black tap milkshakes on various social media platforms and wanted to try it out. Recently visited and ordered the crazy peanut butter milkshake and it didn't disappoint. Everything from the presentation to taste was really good. The quantity was good and had the right mix of various toppings. Also got my valet parking ticket validated and hence was a good experience from entry to exit.

Restaurant located at jumeirah al Naseem has an amazing view of burj al arab ... the ambiance is very creative ... the staff is very friendly ... besides there crafted burgers and main course menu what makes them unique is there crafted milkshakes ... they r huge but its mouth watering ... 👍🏼

Good burger but a bit too expensive. Shake was too big too the point you couldn’t enjoy it and was too messy. Nice to be able to have a bear with a burger but I thought it was an expensive shake shack burger with a few more topping options.

Worst service ever. First we entered and we asked for a table in the terrace area, they said one is leaving now, and then they made someone else sit there instead. And their excuse was “sorry, we totally forgot about you.” So they suggested to give us another table instead, 10 more minutes and no one came to us to hand us the menu at least!! Then finally they came and suggested we sit on another temporary table and then they move us to the terrace and gave us the menus to order some drinks but no one came to take our order. I am just writing this review to set customers’ expectations straight when it comes to service.

Perfect location, perfect service and really good burgers. We tried beef tacos, they were average. Guac and chips is good, all American burger and old fashioned are delicious. Make sure to try their aioli truffle sauce with your fries, yummiest sauce ever!
