This is the best Thai food so far that I tasted in Dubai and my comfort food! well next to Little Bangkok. Unfortunately, it closed since 1st of November 2019. huhuhuhu! Soooo saaaad. Please let us know where can we find you again!
Easily the most authentic thai restaurant in Dubai though in a food court. The curries are great and the spicy really is spicy! I also love the prawn cakes but the seafood salad has a special place in my heart.

This is a food court stand but honestly it is so genuine Thai good and so exquisitely made so I believe this Ban Khun Mae can open its standalone restaurant not just a food court stand. We ordered meals for two combo and all are awesome. Especially fried hamour was so nice.
This place, you gotta try duck laab and order sticky rice together! So yoummy. there was no smile from casher, but the taste is amazing! Portion is a big one. I did a half take away for myself.
Amazing quality of food, delivery acceptance is better. Very authentic and it's very rare find in dubai. Recommended to go there and try, however u have to becareful of delivery orders as thier delivery acceptance hasnt been on good record. Hopefully this is fixed and I'll give a full rating

Ban Khun Mae has become my go to place whenever I'm craving for Pad Thai. They serve really good meals that won't break the bank. What I love about BKM is that they make your meals only when you order so it's really served hot and fresh.

When you are craving for a Thai food, this is a perfect place which gives you a lot of options. Prices are reasonable.
The only problem with my food is it’s a little bit salty. That is the only negative that I can think of.
The food here is delicious & freshly prepared, a good portion size. They have pleasant and friendly staff. Last year the restaurant was closed for renovations and I couldn't wait for it to reopen. I would say it is one of my fav thai restaurats in Dubai. There is only one branch of this wonderful restaurant. I recommend the vegetarian green curry ( i always ask for extra tofu) the padthai and also the coconut milk dessert.

Favourite Thai food I always eat. Its in food court but serve the best quality authentic Thai food had prawns green curry with tum yum prawns soup and vegetables forget the name. Recommend
It's a part of the food court on the ski Dubai side of mall of Emirates. It's at one corner so you might even miss it but DON'T MISS IT. The food is great. We tried the green curry with chicken, red curry with chicken and pad Thai noodles. All sumptuous and spice can be customised to taste.
The only down side is that this is a part of a food court. Would love better ambience with such great food.

One of the best places to eat authentic thai fold at reasonable rates. As good as any hotel they serve very good quantity of curries with rice. Best thing it comes in a togo box which can be relished the next day.... an amazing hideout at the mall of emitates food court. Been here several times but this time ensured i thank them for the yummyliscious food. Get your chopstiks ready if you love thai cuisine.

love this place, My Fav Thai resto in the UAE for Panning Curry dish. the tom yum isn't authentic at all but the rest of the dishes are full of amazing flavour.
This Thai joint is a gem ! Great and authentic food . Totally worth a try if you like Thai food . My favrt would be the green Thai curry and Tom yum soup .
A shockingly excellent Thai restaurant smack in the middle of one of the Mall of the Emirates food courts. Curries are great, as are the stir fry options; decently spiced. Reasonably priced, particularly if you order one of the set menus.
Had the pad khee Mao (pad Thai noodles with vegetables and beef). It was absolutely delicious! Loads of bellpeppers, though, of which I'm not a huge fan. But definitely do recommend this and the desserts (which I don't remember seeing this time around). Pretty authentic.

Best authentic Thai cuisine I have come across in Dubai thus far. If you like a high level of spicy-ness in your meals, this Ban Khun Mae's dishes will definitely pack a punch! Recommended!

Super staff and absolutely delicious food. More authentic than most Thai restaurants around. Definitely a new favorite! The Tom yum goong was spicy and tangy, as requested.. The Thai green curry with chicken was full of flavour and Thai goodness.. And we ordered a different pad Thai with beef which could have been spicier but I'm sure it would be perfect for most.. Can't wait to try out some more!!
Absulutely delicious green curry as well as Panang curry.. one of the best place for green curry in Dubai! I’ve eaten several times and the curry is burst of flavours at times the chicken gets chewy however it’s still delicious!
I was recommended by a lot of friends to try the food here, so I did. I love those spicy meat salad (nam tok nua, laarb ped). These were very tasty. I love the soup they gave with the Laarb Ped.
The Papaya Salad is also good. You can tell them how spicy you want as well.

I came here today with a friend for a tasting session. Located in the Mall of the Emirates Food Court near Ski Dubai, Ban Khun Mae which means "My Mother's House" serves authentic Thai food.
We started off with the Spring Rolls. A portion of 3 rolls which were served with a Thai chilli sauce and were really tasty and crispy. Then we had the Papaya salad. A little on the spicy side, the Papaya Salad was quite tasty and definitely gave a burst of flavour. For the main course, I had a Green Curry with rice. The curry was really tasty and not too spicy. The Red curry was also really tasty and a little more on the spicy side but really good nonetheless. The curries are served in a container and are really filling.
Overall, the food at Ban Khun Mae is flavourful, authentic and really filling. Thai lovers must visit this place for some nice Thai Curries.
Best Thai food I've had out of Thailand by a huge margin. All other places I've been to generally pale by comparison. The spicy green curry is my particular favourite

This MOE food court outlet is a very good one for high quality South East Asian food. Prepared fresh with fresh vegetables and meat, the food is truly tasty and invigorating- if you like SE Asian food. I am a fan of Thai food and love this place so.
Since I had a late lunch here around 2 months back, I believe the menu and pricing has changed somewhat- as per the one uploaded in zomato. The price has marginally increased. Everything is at least 30 dhs and up to almost 50 dhs. Now I feel it's too costly. Anyhow they had two very big albums of menu with pictorial explanation of each and every item which was a big relief.
I selected an item called Bawee phad pee or something similar in name @38dhs - it was consisting of fresh green vegetables , egg fried, duck meat - as far as I can remember, with stir fried egg noodles. The taste was very good. The meat was a bit too dry , not juicy- this is my only complain.
Next was the famous Thai item of Jasmine sticky rice with Thai mango. Khao naew mamuang @20 dhs. It's my Alltime favourite and it didn't disappoint. The mango was very juicy and Sweet. The sticky rice with white sesame seeds was also just rightly sweetened. Overall a very satisfying lunch.
Please try them if you like Thai food. No after effects at all on the stomach after having a oily spicy food.
Best Thai food in Dubai! Unfortunately in the setting of a noisy food court but home delivery is great. Try any of the curries they are fantastic.
Ban Khun Mae consistently delivers good quality food. I've been ordering from them for the past few years and while their food sometimes might be too heavy on salt (or maybe msg(?)... I'm always thirsty for hours after I eat their dishes), the flavours are just right and portions sizes are generous enough to have some leftovers for later in the day.
Got food delivered from here and it arrived perfectly on time! The portions here are large sized and one main course can easily serve two people. We ordered the green curry with vegetables and the red curry with chicken. Both curries were on point and served with white rice. Be careful with the spice levels though, the green curry at medium spice was extremely spicy! The food arrived really hot and was ready to eat, so no complaints with the delivery service. Food was worth the price and would definitely order from here again.
After roaming around the food court several times and gazing around the multiple options available, finally decided to stop at this place and made up my mind to have the Thai Green chicken curry and I can bet it's better than most of the so-called over-rated Thai joints in Dubai. The taste was perfect though the presentation was average. But, considering the price , it was a complete value for money. I would surely visit the place again. If not anything else, I know where to go when I am craving for a good Thai food at a reasonable price :)
This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Dubai. It's just a small food outlet at Mall of the Emirates food court. Nothing too fancy, but the food is really good. I have been told by a Thai friend that this is as close as the real Thai food gets. Prices are reasonable. They offer soups, noodles, fried rice, stir fried dishes and more! Order the mango and sticky rice for dessert!
If only they had more locations and they delivered in my area. The food is authentic and one of the best Thai food I've had. Tom yum goong is my favourite soup.
I love this authentic Thai joint. Their curries are the tastiest in town and all served with rice as standard. The prices are cheap, portions are big and the delivery is speedy. Their spring roles are a little too stodgy for my taste but they're easily forgiven.
Best Thai food ever! I simple love both the curries, green and red with chicken or veggies. A visit to MOE means dinner at Ban Khun Mae. The quantity is good as well. One curry with rice is enough for two people. Spicy yet sweet, this is a must try place. And trust me you will visit again.

Had the sesame shrimps and red chicken curry with rice, both the dishes were great. Reasonably priced and quick service, the portions are huge well worth the money!
Such flavorful and fragrant aroma. Their 'Phad Bai Kra Praow' is delicious and spicy with Thai basil leaves and chicken with steamed jasmine rice. The meal is filling and can be a meal for two people.
They usually serve the chicken minced but I like it sliced so I do tell them to make it that way and it's just perfect.
Tried out this dessert with Sago and some other unidentifiable ingredients neither can I find the dessert listed on their Zomato menu. It costed AED 10 and tasted really good, it had some sweet melon pieces and even lychee I believe. Since it's a food court it was served in a plastic container but nonetheless didn't compromise on taste. Worth a try if you want to try something different and you end up at the Mall of the Emirates food court.
If you are looking for a quick Thai place then this is the best thai at the mall of the Emirates food court. They have more variety in the dishes as well. Tasted just like authentic Thai food. We ordered red curry and chilli hammour.

Very Impressive Thai food! Can't believe this is in a food court! I tried it on the recommendation of a friend and I loved the flavors and the freshness of the seafood.
We ordered Satay Gai for starters and Gang Kiew Wan Goong for main course. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Will definitely visit again to try other stuff...
Was super excited to find a good and reasonable spot for Thai food. Being located at the mall of the Emirates food court, it does not have the best ambience but is a good option if you find yourself craving Thai during a shopping spree or if you live in the area and what it home delivered.
The green curry hits the spot! That's all I need at a Thai place. Also got a seafood salad, minced beef with basil, and the pad Thai. All of these had good flavour. However, I have had far better pad Thai.
Great value for money. The food is spot on. Spent AED 150 on two main courses, a soup, starter and rice, shared amongst the five of us. Would recommend die hard Thai food fans to definitely give it a try!
I think the green Thai curry was fantastic, the flavours were yum and it was spicy and good to eat but the chicken tasted so generic that it kinda through me but I could eat here again

We were in the mood for some authentic spicy Thai food. Ban Khun Mae was authentic all right, but not spicy as Thai food is known to be. Possibly, they have taken the tourists in mind in making the digest lighter. Apart from that glitch, the taste of the food itself is top notch.

Best Phad kee Mao in town I am really addicted, it's so fresh, tasty and for ppl who love flat noodles with a touch of spicy flavor, their service is amazing and delivery is so fast
Whenever I am in good mood to go for light Thai food, I go for this restaurant. Their Thai green curry is good for 2 people, is serve with boiled rice. hmm hmm mouth watering! Go with their chicken cashew and dry beef, exquisite!. For someone who loves Thai food, he will surely like it. You would need to add in more rice, if you love to eat boil rice.
Tom yum Goong is just the way it should be! supported with Kiow Tod. 1 rating point is missing because of four things:
1. Pad Thai Goong - Average
2. Morning Glory - Just Fine.
3. Pricing (One should go for combo to reduce price).
4. Sitting Area
Ordered a flat noodles with shrimp and a duck in sauce and white rice (for want of being able to remember names of the dishes, even nomenclature on the bill is too ambiguous). Both were delicious. Ban Khumn Mae doesn't deserve to be in the food court, it's not fast food and it isn't quick enough to be a QSR. It's pricing is at par with standalone dine-in restaurants, so basically its just a normal restaurant with no seating. Can't complain about the taste though, every bite was delicious. Service was polite and (as I mentioned) took their time to prepare and serve you on a tray, but that's because everything seemed to be cooked up fresh, no half cooked meals waiting to be served. Overall a very good meal I'd happily go there again, but for that price I do expect a dedicated but not necessarily secluded seating area.

Good in taste and big in quantity are the portions, you can finish alone, no way!
Gang kiew wan or the green curry was thick, creamy and great,
Khao pad made right in front on a wok was also top rate.
It's a pretty decent thai fast food restaurant.

This is my favorite outlet inside a Food Court, they have authentic Thai food. They have the best Tom Yum soup I ever had in Dubai. Their Pad Thai and Curries are awesome! I've been eating from here from many years and their quality never fades.
