We called them up first to ensure they would still be open as it was already past 9pm. We were told that kitchen would be open and would take last orders at 10:20pm. We got there a few mins before 10pm and were seated outside. The staff was friendly and accommodating and took the time to inform us of the dishes that were available. We had pad thai, Thai iced tea, chicken satay, and tom yum (mushroom) and everything was delicious and taste was authentic. Price was reasonable. We spent around 150Dhs for 2. We felt like we were transported to Bangkok! Unfortunately, the mango sticky rice wasn’t available as mangoes were not in season, but it was okay and understandable! I wish they’d consider putting up a branch closer to the finacial centre but I will absolutely not hesitate to come back. :)

I don't understand how other people can just drop the rate of this humble, authentic, delicious & affordable Café Isan to 1 star! I think they're just having a bad day. Anyhow, in my honest opinion and delicate taste when it comes to food, this restaurant is top! Since I discovered this place, I keep coming back and always leaving the place with a happy tummy and satisfied all the time, plus the staffs are very friendly. I'm having a hard time finding a place like this in Dubai. So, I'm very happy to have it nearby. I advise people to instead having their food delivered, try also to dine in there personally to experience the cute ambience of their place and warm welcoming of their staffs and get to eat their food the freshest from their kitchen! I think you deserve a 5 stars! :)

Not enough stars to reflect how much I love cafe Isan. We have not had such tasty authentic Thai outside of the great kingdom, ever! The owners are delightful, the chefs ever smiling and every dish is delicious. The rice porridge for breakfast is so good I could eat it all day every day and the spring rolls were made right in front of me, not some frozen bulk purchase. Everything is made from scratch and they don't you msg either. The atmosphere is homely and casual, and has a good deal of Thai clientele -that says it all! Going home for the summer but will be my first port of call on my return!

Without a doubt the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand, and the customer service is above and beyond any 5 star hotel! Friendly and helpful, with very reasonable prices and tasty food. A must try �

Dine in! When dining in they deserve four stars. Hoi Tod was spectacular and a clear five stars. Pad Thai was a bit uninspired with three shrimp and loads of Tofu, and Bit bland. 3 stars. So I land on a total of 4. But for delivery they are slow and food tasteless.

What a gem of a restaurant! Lived in Bangkok for 2 years and the food here is as authentic as it gets. The decor and music made us feel as if we were sat in a restaurant in Ekamai or Thonglor. Head Chef New has done an amazing job here. We will be back for more tasty food, kha!

I would highly recommended for anyone who love a Thai authentic I-San style food. Especially 'The Colonel' s Noodle ' it is a must try dish .The interior of the restaurant is quite cool . The service is second to none and tge owners are very friendly. I am absolutely coming back!!!

So I ordered through deliveroo after they couldn't deliver themselves because they don't have a credit card machine yet. I order chicken wings, they were good. I also order a beef dish but the ginger was overpowering so I couldn't eat it and the minced chicken dish was just not to my taste either. Overall I'm being very generous by given them 3 stars because I know they are new and I'm sure they'll improve their dishes. One thing I need to add is I don't like they charge you for rice, rice is so cheap it should be included in the price you pay for main dishes. I'm disappointed I wasted my money and time and ended with an empty stomach....

Finally made my way to Cafe Isan last night, and I was not disappointed. Tried my two favourite dishes - Khao soi and The Hustler! And I must say - absolutely soul satisfying food! Hands down the best that I've tried in Dubai. I travel a lot and have been craving Thai food for a while now. These dishes more than made up for that. Not to forget the chicken wings we started with - DELICIOUS. Kudos to the team! Can't wait to return!

I was very excited to try the restaurant since I saw it getting so many awards so I ordered the glass noodles salad and Fried rice. When I first tried the food it was very bland there was literally no taste nothing special or “Thai” about it. The fried rice had like 2 tiny shrimps inside it and for some reason it tasted like smoke, from the first bite I could tell that there was nothing special about it. It literally didn’t have any Thai spiced or flavor in general other than taste the food didn’t even look appetizing. About the glass noodles salad it was hot for some reason and also barely any seafood in it and it tasted like water with noodles. So in general The food literally tasted like nothing I don’t understand the hype behind this restaurant I was very disappointed and at this point I literally tried every Thai restaurant in Dubai and this was by far one of the worsts I don’t recommend it at all.

If you love Thai street food then this is the Cafe you need to try. The cafe delivers an authentic Thai street food like no where in Dubai. Today’s post is going to be a vegan special, as 90% of our order has been vegan. During the month of August the restaurant will be open for pickup or delivery as usual, but the dine in isn’t available due to minor renovations/upgrades in the dining area. Visited this resto for the first time today, and glad we did coz it definitely deserves all the awards! The Penang curry was by far the best I've had so far, and the laab chicken was super delicious. The papaya salad was just the right mix of salty sour and spicy, be careful of the spice level, but don't worry coz Lisa will guide you through the order! Very refreshing hibiscus iced tea, real flavor with no additions.Will definitely be coming back for more curry. Great to see home grown restaurants here, and support local businesses as much as possible!

I just tried their new vegan menu and it's full of yummy dishes. I had homemade vegan spring rolls, which came out perfect. The grilled satay tofu was also very good especially with the homemade peanut sauce.<br/>The main course was, of course, The Hustler - my favourite Cafe Isan dish and equally good whether you have the vegan or the meat version.<br/>Wash it all down with a Thai ice tea or 2 and you have a perfect dinner.<br/><br/>Side note: Zomato is showing this restaurant as closed and has also removed the menu. Having just eaten there, I can attest that Café Isan is open and as tasty and affordable as always.

Food was safely delivered to our home. Delivery nowadays are a hit as restaurants are not able to accommodate 100% as their usual capacity due to the current circumstance globally. I am delighted that Cafe Isan delivers and delivers fast! Food wise - their packaging was very minimalist, no expectations - plain brown bag, minimal and straight forward branding (logo) on receipts, etc. Their food and its quality says the opposite, very colorful and flavorful - we were instantly brought back to Thailand because of its taste (not joking at all!) - super good! I also like some personal touches made by Cafe Isan Team - they ask you for the spiciness level that suit to your liking. Also, (I really want to mention this), the chef wrote a small note on the lead of the container where they place authentic thai ginger tea! Super sweet gesture, I really appreciate!

I’ve just tried Cafe Isan a few days ago - that’s after reading an inspiring article about Chef New. I would say that it's the most delicious and satisfying dinner I’ve had during this lockdown period. I've been in search of an authentic Thai restaurant and thanks to Cafe Isan - their food takes you back to the streets of Bangkok. Other than the red and green curries, the papaya salad remains to be my fave dish and Cafe Isan makes the perfect papaya salad. Just be careful in selecting the no of chilies in the papaya salad (you can pick from 1/4 of a chili to 6 pcs!). I would say that Cafe Isan is a Time Out 2020 awardee for a reason - so delicious authentic Thai food!

What to say?,, this is hands down the best Thai Street food in town. No taste compromised. Cafe Isan gives the Taste that Thai Street Food should be! Today I ordered their special Kanom Jeen Namya Pah or Rice noodle with Spicy Isan soup. It was a blast. The flavor shoot us right back to Thailand. Love Love Love

I was a big fan of this restaurant and took 3 other friends for lunch yesterday. The location has changed and even the name. It's called Wok Inn and the Cafe Isaan is lost within the signage. I asked the server if the food had changed too? She said no just the location. But I was very disappointed when the food arrived. Except the Papaya salad all other item was far from authentic. Curries were overly sweet and starchy with no flavour and green chilli flakes thrown into the green curry which had no thai vegetables. We changed to red curry but the preparation style was exactly the same. To top it the garnishing salad looked like it was cut 2 days ago.i happened to have the owner's contact number but the phone was switched off. The server kept saying that the owner will come in an hour. So this one is struck off my list.

Ordered delivery for two entrees and one beverage. When received really thought it was left over portion for 120+ aed. Won’t recommend

The chef must have forgotten to put salt, there's no taste at all and the beef is over cooked. When i reached them via zomato customer service, they said it's their standard way of cooking. Either it's the chef who didnt want to admit this mistake or It means that their standard way is to cook without any salt. In any case, i will never order from this restaurant again.

Visited Cafe Isan for lunch with family and had a lovely experience. The food served hot and fresh is delicious. <br/><br/>We chose to sit outside as the weather was pleasant. The outdoor seating arrangement is small and colourful. For drinks we ordered Coconut water and Thai iced tea and loved them both. <br/><br/>For starters we ordered Coconut shrimps, veg spring rolls, papaya salad and Dim Sum. I loved the coconut shrimps and if you like shrimps you must order them. Crispy , fresh and delicious! Veg spring rolls were really nice , hot and crispy. The Dim Sum were soft and tasty but have a somewhat strong garlic taste. Papaya Salad was fresh and delicious. <br/><br/>For main course we ordered Chicken and Cashew Nuts and it was a winner. Really very delicious! You can choose the spice level to your liking. I really loved all the delicious juices and the perfect flavour.<br/><br/>Next we ordered the mixed seafood the hustler combo which is highly recommended. I simply loved it. The shrimps, jasmine rice, Thai Basil, fried egg on top everything was really delicious. The portion size is good for one person but can be shared when paired with other items. The rice used are vegan.<br/><br/><br/>We ended the perfect lunch with Mangoes and sticky rice. What a perfect dessert really. Would like to start by recommending their Thai basil chicken to everyone who likes food! It was unfortunately an off night for them. Staff was missing, food took the longest time to arrive even though we only ordered two basic dishes. But the lady helping us out was very sweet, she apologised and did whatever was possible. And we were in no rush so that helped! Would like to visit again at some point when they’re functioning correctly!

Quiet, cosy restaurant, serving up great traditional dishes from northern Thailand, must try their curries, and spring rolls, wash it down with their Thai ice teas.

Ordered the mushroom Tom yum today it consistency was like a curry. Too much coconut milk so couldn’t eat it as soup it was too thick. Very disappointed because it’s changed from the last time which was good. I’m surprised they sent it this way.

A small cozy place tucked away in JLT... The yellow curry is perfect with Jasmine rice... Chicken with cashew is spicy and nice... Best to eat hot and fresh... And use Zomato gold recommended...

New favourite place for thai food! Loved the cashew sweet and sour chicken, hustler chicken, mango sticky rice and thai iced tea. Can’t wait to come back and try more stuff from their menu. Also the service was amazing. We felt very welcomed and experienced very authentic thai hospitality.

You guys bet little bangkok on the Tom yum soup!

Comfort food at its finest, Cafe Isan gives you the warm feel of eating your mom's home cooked food. An absolute favorite must have would be their Pik Gai Chicken Wings, the Hoi Tod (Mussel Omelette) and Colonels Beef Noodle Soup.<br/><br/>The staffs are very hands on and friendly.<br/><br/>Gave them 4 star only because it feels a bit expensive for the serving size but it absolutely compensate taste / flavor wise.

Tried Tom Tum Soup - probably the closest to authentic Tom Yum Soup I've had in Dubai - absolutely loved it! Also, ordered Mango Sticky Rice and Cha Anchan with Lime. Mango Sticky Rice was average whereas Cha Achan had a nice, subtle flavour which was quite refreshing.

R and Myself had a good Saturday dinner here. We ordered Tom Yum soup - mixed seafood, Dim Sum, Papaya salad and the Hustler. The food is extremely tasty, mouthwatering and not to forget affordable. Loved the spices! Service was great. Will be back for more!

Thai dishes are something different as the taste is excellently balanced with sweet, spicy, hot and sour.<br/><br/>Starters we ordered-<br/><br/>Spring rolls : These rolls were crispy and delicious with glass noodles and fresh veg fillings. The thick garlic chilly sauce which served along with this was very tasty.<br/><br/>Tom yum soup combo: The classic spicy Thai soup with prawns. It was super delicious with great aroma of lemon grass, onion, kaffir ,galangal , lime leaves and coriander leaves. We could feel the flavour in each of the sip.<br/><br/><br/>Main course we ordered-<br/><br/>The Hustler combo: This combo was awesome. It’s a street style wok fried dish with Thai basil, jasmine rice and fried egg as a topping. It was recommended by the owner and is a must try dish. We chose mixed sea food and loved the taste of the dish with prawns, squid and fish.<br/><br/>Dim sum : Steamed dumpling with chicken filling prepared in small, bite sized portions was served with garlic-vinegar sauce. Everything we ordered were a hit. <br/>Starters-homemade spring rolls( glass noodle & veg filling)<br/> Tom Yum soup(prawn) packed with flavors & very fragrant because of the lemon grass ,galangal,kaffir lime leaves.<br/>Mains— The Hustler was the show stopper of the day. We ordered mixed seafood hustler🐠🍤🦑. Make sure to order spicy version. It’s a combo with Jasmine rice & fried egg.<br/> Pad Thai noodles what we ordered for kids was bit on a sweeter side. I am Thai and quite new in Dubai, and my friend recommended Cafe Ian so we went together. Wow!!!! I'm finally feeling like at home. Am sure the best Thai food in Dubai. I had the Som Tum, Pik Gai and Nam Gai, a chef special.... as a Thai there were so many things available that were not on the menu.... oh I felt so special. Only down thing was service was a little slow I guess because it was busy inside. Yummy see you soon x

Thai Food to me is all about home cooking and Café Isan brings you a taste of that from a smaller part of Thailand, that being Isan.

Greeted by one of the friendly owners Lisa, we experienced our first Northern Thai cuisine in her cozy cafe and it was definitely a treat. Having enjoyed many amazing Thai restaurants throughout the years and travelled to mostly Southern Thailand, the subtle differences in the ingredients created succinct local flavours that you cannot find anywhere else in Dubai. Having an extremely hospitable owner in Lisa explaining the ingredients and origins of the more regional dishes added to our wonderful experience. Thanks Lisa and kudos to your talented chef!

Once we walked in to Cafe Isan it had a great friendly and neighborhood atmosphere. All the dishes brought back all the tastes I experienced through my trips to Thailand. My favourite was the Tom Yun Soup. It was super flavourble and and the great coconut taste. Can not forget my favourite dessert mango sticky rice. Was one of the sweetest mangos I have had in Dubai.

Does anyone know if they are still open? We went there twice but there is a big lock on the door. I find it strange that they are still open for orders through zomato. No one is picking up their phone as well.

Cute place with friendly service. The food was a hit and miss. The red curry was very good, the stir fried beef was above average. Fried rice and pad thai were too sweet. Overall good experience but has the potential to be better.

We ordered Thai green curry, Pad Thai noodles and garlic fries. The Thai curry was ok. Jasmine rice was served with a fried egg on top and unfortunately when I ordered and went through it the menu (what is visible on the app while ordering) it didn’t say anything like that. We aren’t big on egg so that put me off a bit. The green curry was spicy and reasonably flavourful although After having tried so many Asian restaurants in dubai I have my favourites and this wouldn’t be one of them. I was a bit disappointed with their Pad Thai. There was some sweet tamarind flavour that was too overpowering (I may have got the ingredient wrong but the flavour was this). It was also a bit saucy for my preference. The fries were fine but overall I wasn’t really impressed.

I really like this place. It has a home vibe. they have board games and their interior designing makes you feel welcome and carefree. Plus, their food is excellent. Thai food prepared with love and great technique. Should come back more often :)

Unfortunately this was hands down the worst dining experience I have had in Dubai. The Tom kha soup tasted so sweet it should have been listed under desserts. The papaya salad was extremely bland with practically no flavor and the pad Thai was equally as bland and flavorless. If I could block and delete a restaurant, it would be cafe isan.

Cant beat this place.  We have dined in and had home deliveries and have never been disappointed with the food or service.  Just remember some Thai dishes are extremely hot so choose Dubai Spice rather than Thai spice... :)  The fried egg a top of the hustler combo is just heaven.

For the Northeastern food lovers place is very good, the Tom Yum Soup very tasty. The hottness of soup i like it. Papaya salad of this place also very impressive.

The Tom yam taste good but there was less seafood most of what I found in my order where only the herbs, there was 1 shrimp, small piece of fish and 2 pcs of squid ring😊 I hope next time a more seafood in it

This experience was plain horrid. They gave us a hussler which cost a good amount and was 90% tasteless rice although rice wasn't even listed in its ingredients. The massaman curry was mediocre and the mango sticky rice was not worth it at all. <br/>I will never order from here again.

Have been going there for the past few years and this place never let me down. As I am Thai, I can say this is genuine thai-isan food, love their somtom, noodle, Kraprow and more importantly their smile & customer services. Well done Cafe Isan :)

Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The soup was great plus the salad a must. Tasty with a lot of authenticity. I will definitely give it a go again.

Thai food is my favorite cuisine. I am lucky that Cafe Isan is next to my office! I go there at least twice a week. Seafood Tom Yum soup is one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the UAE. For the main course, I would recommend the Chicken Cashew Nut and The Hustler.

The quality of food is so poor that we were unable to eat it. The package was not appealing nor practical. The chicken smells and it sticks on hands

The food is absolutely divine. I am a vegetarian and a vegan and to my surprise they have very good option s for both. The Tom yum soup is to die for, a must try !!<br/>They have the option of combo meals which is a great idea and very filling at the same time pocket friendly.<br/><br/>The service is quick and the food is fresh. The staff is super friendly and flexible. I am definitely going back to this place.<br/>

Cafe Isan is one of the Best Hidden Gem Restaurant in Dubai. they are serving Authentic Thai Streetfood with an extensive Isan (Northeastern Thai) menu. What’s Best in the restaurant? The owner is From Thailand and she’s also one of the Chef. that’s make all the Food authentic. Ambiance is really Amazing. they have indoor and outdoor tables. they interior is  simple but very  Cute.

Ordered home delivery from cafe Isan... it did satisfy my thai craving and the lady who took my order was very polite and friendly.. took care of every detail required for my order.. vegan thai options steals the show👍

My sister in law studied and lived in Thailand for 10 years, so this is her go-to for authentic tasting Thai food. Obviously she introduced me to Cafe Isan, and it was only on the 19 of March when I went to the restaurant for the first time.<br/><br/>The staff (I forgot to ask their names!) are very, very friendly, and very considerate. The set up is very cute and cosy, great for a night out with friends, and the food is as close to authentic as can be, so far away from Thailand. =)<br/><br/>I would be a regular if I didn’t live 35 kilometres away, lol. Bless you guys and keep up the great food and the great service!

This restaurant has one of the best Thai street food that I've had. We were so excited 😆 to be there , something nearby with lots of good reviews . Unfortunately, is a great disappointment . Again is something adjusting to western style or to local taste . Far away from authentic . By the way., to serve such a Green curry , sorry to say it bold , is a shame. When I looked into the curry , I was asking myself : WHAT IS IT ???? ( some broccoli , cauliflower with chicken in a thick Gravy which is thicken with CORN STARCH .and the color looks also very artificial and sone chills flakes inside . We re having Thai curry over the last 3 decades . In Thailand , outside Thailand 🇹🇭 . The was the worst curry I ‘ve ever had . This is a nightmare . I can’t call that curry as curry or even a dish . The lady there was very nice and friendly and explained to us because the people wanted it this way ( hmm 🤔 omg ) . If this is the case , I m Speechless . I m sure she could do better . But if it has to be so adjust to fit in to someone else taste instead of its authentic Thai food , is a PITY !!! Very sorry 😐

Our never ending quest to keep looking for new places to hog Asian food brought us to Cafe Isan. And we 💕Thai food!<br/>What makes Thai food so unique is the the perfect balance of contrasting flavours between sweet, bitter, hot and sour. <br/>Cafe Isan was the perfect find for our quest. We ordered for coconut shrimps with the mango dip for the appetisers, pad khao, the hustler and massaman curry for mains.<br/>The massaman curry deserves a special mention, this mild, creamy exotic curry tasted so good with steamed rice. The Hustler tasted awesome too, the flavours of the Thai chilli peppers and basil stood out.<br/>Pad Khao, the evergreen Thai fried rice dish felt it was straight out of the floating markets in Bangkok.<br/><br/>The mango dip with the coconut shrimps tasted yum!<br/><br/>The staff was very hands on and we are definitely visiting this restaurant again to try out the Khao Soi which unfortunately was not available when we visited!

This is my first review for this lovely restaurant. I am Thai and this is place I call it second home. I love to come here for food in Isan style and my favourite is papaya salad with Gang om. I usually order from Cafe Isan 3-4 times a week😁 Lisa and New (the managet&chef) are friendly and very open for all suggestion. When we were just trying to figure out on what to have for dinner,that’s when we came across of this gem. Cafe Isan🤔 A northeastern Thai cuisine.. we were familiar with Thai cuisine but not Isan... Luckily we had the restaurant manager to help us out choose on what to try. <br/>Isan is Thailand’s largest region. What makes Isan food different from what Westerners think of when they think of Thai food? There are a few flavors and ingredients that seem to predominate- chili peppers, lime, peanuts, dried shrimp, fresh fruits and vegetables, sticky rice, cilantro, mint, and other fresh herbs. Though flavor layers are very complex, food preparation is often quite simple. <br/>Another important thing to mention about Isan cuisine is that they use more of coconut milk powder as compared to Thai cuisine which is more of the fresh coconut milk.Now let’s get started 😎 <br/>For starters, we tried the veg spring rolls and Laab cakes. The veg spring rolls is not the usual spring rolls what you’ve had it I guarantee. It had a very interesting filling that consists of glass noodles and fresh vegetables. Our taste buds still have the flavor. So crispy and delicious!! The Laab cakes had the perfect blend of all the spices and it was literally a roller coaster for our taste buds. A little hot on the spice side as requested by us. But if u prefer less spicy then it would be better to mention it. <br/>Forgot to mention about the Chicken Tom Yum soup. It had all the fresh ingredients to make the most blissful flavor. You can have this even during the days when you are sick. It’s that refreshing❤️ The lemongrass and all the special spices from Isan truly made it taste like never before. <br/>In any cuisine,you need to definitely try the salads. So did we!! Laab gai chicken salad had to be the best choice. It had the basic ingredients yet it tasted so unique. It’s a mix of minced chicken,lemongrass,kaffir lime leaves,mint and coriander and onion tossed in a lemon chilli dressing. Yet again we wanted it to be spicy so we mentioned the same. <br/>For the mains we had The chicken and cashew nuts and Khao pad fried rice. The chicken and cashew nuts topped the list with its simplicity yet Oh so delicious avtar 🤩. It had the perfect blend of spices with the sweetness and sour mixed up so flawlessly. The Khao pad fried rice was out of the world.. the simple street style wok fried dish with the freshest Thai basil leaves,green beans and red onion with little bit of soy and garlic sauce. And voila!! We totally had a great dining experience.. and we ll definitely get back to try the other super delicious food in the menu ❤️❤️<br/><br/>

This restaurant is a must try if you love thai food. The chef is from thailand itself. The european lady(must be a owner) is really friendly and helps you in case you are new to thai cuisine. Its mainly for takeaways. I love rate it 5/5 for food, only the issue is they take payment only in cash which is a hustle.

Food was great! We had the veg curry and prawn noodles. Both were greaaaat! Amazing taste and big amount. Worth the price. Will definitely order again! Highly recommend!

For someone with a heavy cold and no sense of taste I must say Cafe Isan brought it all back to life. We tried the Tom Yum Soup Combo which was simply amazing. It opened out all senses that allowed to savour and enjoy every bit of my meal. The dips along with the prawn crackers were mouthwatering. Their coconut shrimp was also a great choice, I guess the quantity needs to be revisited. The curry combo was next on the list and not to mention the chef didn’t disappoint us here either. The decor and games are an added attraction as you are quite occupied until the food arrives. I must say the owner has done a great job in setting this cafe aside from all others. The only drawback is them not accepting cards.

We visited Cafe Isan on Tuesday evening, we ordered spring rolls and papaya salade as starter. For main course we ordered green curry and rice with beef, everything was super delicious, the service is top.<br/><br/>We recommend this restaurant to everyone and we will visit again soon.

Another hidden gem in JLT.<br/>Recommended by a friend, we gave it a try on Wed evening and it was not crowded. The service was awesome by the owner herself, who walked us through the menu and answered all our questions.<br/>We tried the prawn tom yum soup, the hustler and the cashew chicken. All were VERY delicious and the portions are quiet sizable. You will notice that the dishes are unique and cooked to order (not ready-made) as you can remove any ingredients or customize the spiciness.<br/>The owner told us upfront that they don’t have any beef in that day which was a shame cause I only wanted to try more dishes 👌😊.<br/><br/>The one suggestion I’d say is start accepting credit card payment, and not only cash. I ended up having 13 coins or so as change 😂. <br/><br/>Will definitely give it another try soon.

Another good restaurant that you should visit in JLT (Jumeirah Lakes Towers). Cozy, very spacious and decorated with colorful designs. Pretty delicious Thai food but not Bangkok style but Isan style which you can find in JLT. And not rally urbanized but traditional type of taste can be enjoyed here. We ordered delivery and what I was amazed is the red curry with chicken which was incredibly tender and juicy!

As Thai guy for The Hustler Combo (Kra pao) is too sweet if can reduce sweet it will be nice one. but for Prawn Crackers is perfect it's tasty (Well but for dip sauce is pack like in Thailand so it's a bit hard to unpack it)

Pocket friendly place with zomato gold. It takes you back to Thailand. A Brit lady would always welcome you with a smile and suggest food according to your taste! I love spicy and the papaya salad was a perfect choice for me. Loved everything I had there. And since it’s at JLT outdoors is a beautiful option too. <br/>The only minus whenever I have gone it’s cash only.

Located at one of the corners in JLT, this is a hidden gem not to be missed out on. The café has a homely vibe with a laidback setting with mixed color couches, chairs and bench like seating. The décor is minimal but crafty giving it an elegant and chic look. We would love to have a home that looked like this.

I read great reviews and decided to order from Cafe Isan, but , I was highly disappointed.<br/><br/>I had ordered the Som Tam Salad ( raw papaya salad) which was very average in taste , the portion size was decent though. I also ordered the combo Green Curry Combo , which to my surprise was extremely sweet in taste & lacked any coconut milk flavor or punch whatsoever. It was a thick sweet tasting gravy with few vegetables tossed in it.<br/><br/>I expected a great lot from this place as it has won many awards but ended up having an unpleasant experience.  I also felt the place is a little overpriced.

Went out there with my hubby for a dinner at 11.30 to be exact which was too late for them to close and dint get much options in menu to chose but went on with what they suggested and yeah everything was still hot and there was plenty of it . Our waitress was very friendly and took good care of us. We enjoyed sitting outdoors enjoying that authentic taste of Thai street food which was delicious. We also loved walking on the lake side .

A few months back we posed the question is Bianca Dubai's best Italian? Well now we have to ask a similar question, is Cafe Isan the city's best Thai? Hidden away in JLT this tiny and and humble spot is as authentically Thai as anything flavor wise we've encountered in Thailand.

I was invited by the team of Cafe Isan for a tasting session and boy was I excited about it. They had bagged the best budget restaurant award last year and inspite of hearing so much about them, I just could not make it. So when the invite came in, it was inevitable for me to go. Cafe Isan specialises in street food concept from the heart of Thailand. The deadly duo of all women tag team makes up for the staff. The interiors are simple just like some hole in the wall cafe in the bylanes of Thailand.

I really want to go back and try some of the other items on the menu. Tom kha coconut chicken soup was such a pleasing discovery, I would have it again in a heart beat - explosion of flavors that work so well together. My husband had a hustler which neither of us liked in terms of combination (minced chicken with rice) not the quality of preparation! I also had a pad mee (flat rice noodles) which was a bit too sweet for me, but again northeastern thai tends to be sweet, so it’s a matter of preference. That place is so cute and cozy, the owner/manager is amazing with the customers, we really felt welcome despite using Zomato Gold :))))))

This little hidden gem 💎 always delivers delicious if not — astounding Thai food I ever tasted around! From dining in the restaurant itself or even calling in for delivery...never fails me! It’s always scrumptious meal and leaves me full and contented. @cafeisan is a place to be! 🙏🏼👌🏼

very unlucky choice, food was awful, even the plain rice tasted like parfum was added. Portions extremely small for the prices charged. Anyhow, went straight to the rubbish.
