We were fans of Peppermill and decided to go there after a long time. But im sad to say that the quality has gone down completely. To start off half the menu items are taken off. It looks like Food court menu. Then on top of it whatever was on the menu was not available.

I had been waiting to go to this restaurant as I had heard so much about it and was so excited to visit this place finally! We had to wait for about 20 minutes but the servers did a good job managing their customers as per safety guidelines. We ordered assorted kebab platter, they agreed to swap prawns with paneer tikka. The platter had paneer tikka, tandoori chicken tikka, chicken malai tikka and mutton sheekh kebab. Chicken malai tikka should have been softer but the rest three were amazing! We also ordered chicken biryani which was upto our taste! They were out of yoghurt so they agreed to serve us dal makhani instead. Everything was fresh and yummy! I loved this place! Will soon visit again.

The terrace seating has no views of the burj Khalifa nor the lake and fountain below. Food is pretty average. They took about 30 mins to get the roti after getting the main course. Upon asking , the head waiter started explaining how they make rotis fresh and hence take so much time ! He made lot of fuss about using Zomato gold and also said that we need to post bad reviews about the menu on social media so that the management sees it and becomes more allowing for Zomato gold . First time saw the staff speaking against their own management.

This place was on our list since very long because of its high rating. Pls don’t get lured by the rating as the food is horrendous here. To start with, the restaurant dint have wash basin, amidst covid 19 threat we asked for hand sanitiser but they dint have that as well..where entire world is installing sanitizers at public places, this place had none!! Now the food part: Indian cuisine is what all Indians crave for when away from India. We ordered veg kadhai, chicken tikka masala, some rotis and veg biryani. Both the gravies were sweet, despite of telling them to make it spicy. Who makes gravies sweet, as good as veggies and chicken cooked in tomato ketchup. It was very disappointing. The veg biryani smelled of dry fish. I couldn’t eat more than one spoon. We took our parents there for dinner but were super embarrassed as my parents kept saying the food is too bad with every spoon that they ate. Total waste of money. You need to actually taste Indian food and then claim to serve authentic Indian cuisine. I wonder how such restaurants get 4.5 ratings...surprising!! Good luck for people visiting this place!!

We had the pani puri and jackfruit masala with parantha. Everything was fresh and tasted great. We will return to try out other dishes soon. We returned after Covid 19 lockdown and had the lentil soup shorba, salad and jackfruit masala. Everything was fresh, flavorsome and clean tasting. Since we were vegan, our server Tanvir was so patient and friendly he brought out headchef Upinder Singh to take our order. The food is very authentic and the service was excellent. Tanvir happily went out of his way to fulfil our needs. We will certainly return with family.

Peppermill is quite literally your go-to causal dining restaurant when you are craving for some good Indian food. Almost hidden from the main mall area, this branch is tucked away in Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall. We decided to start off with their popular mocktail, Berrylicious. Its a fresh berry drink with cotton candy and its served with liquid nitrogen. The presentation has top marks and the mocktail itself is quite refreshing. For main course, we had the Methi Malai Murg and Chicken Biryani. The Methi Malai Murg was rich and creamy and the biryani was divine. The aromatic rice and the masala was scrumptious. The servers are helpful and very knowledgeable of the dishes. The price range is good for the portion offered. Overall a great place to visit.

We ordered chaat platter and purani dilli se ...both were bad . samosas were dripping with oil, same goes for fritters , and dahi bhalla if anyone is eating for first time they will never try again . The berries drink was like your are drinking sugar syrup . And half of menu is not covered in zomato .

As we were craving for food.. We jumped to Main course directly.. Sunday Mutton curry + Mutton Biryani(in house special i believe) with naan and tandoori both types :-) in drinks we ordered Kulfi lassi and Shikanji - i always appreciate the unique cukture they preserve in presentation case: mutton curry was served in a pressure cooker rather than in a normal bowl even drinks were served in unique jugs- we couldn't even finish 2 drinks between 3 people.. 1 drink is sufficient for 2 people However a water bottle costs 15dhs :-( so better to go with ordering drinks rather than on water

I have been in love with place since their branch in Barsha! A lot has changed since then about this brand but one thing has remained constant that is the food which is not doused in unnecessary masalas & spice. Peppermill is quite a catchy name, don’t you agree? We hd to wait for quite some time munching on the fryums they served to get a table outside. Started with the kataifi prawns- prawns coated in vermicelli and deep fried, served with mango salsa. What a delight! Mains, tried the mutton biryani, really tender pieces of meat with fragrant rice. Loved the raita served with it. Then tried the Sali chicken. I have had the dish before but this one was covered in fried soggy potato and was quite a hassle eating it. A very average dish. Service was really average as well. Here and there to improve, a hit and miss :)
