And on top of that, they messed up my order (i ordered avocado toast with poached eggs, they sent me this scrambled eggs- Wanna be). Perfect for slow weekends when we crave something fresh, light and healthy. We ordered: - Korean style beef, glass noodles, sauteed edemame, mango slaw, tofu, fried egg, cucumber, Korean kim chi, Korean tangy sauce, garnished with sesame seeds, spring onion, coriander and paprika - Amazonian organic pure acai mixed with banana topped with organic granola, strawberries, blueberries, dragon fruit, pomegranate, organic chia seeds, fresh coconut flakes I loved the food and outdoor seating area.

Was looking for a place with outdoor seating, good breakfast and fast WiFi to get some work done when I came across this place in JLT and this place was so much better than u expected. The food was brilliant, great portions, the ambience is really modern with a digital nomad feel, great outdoor seating and the best part, bottomless coffee, perfect for some me-time. Here is a short review of all the items I ordered COCONUT OVERNIGHT OATS - this is usually one of my favourite items in a breakfast place and I wasn't disappointed here either. It wasn't overly sweet, the portion was good and loved the raspberry jam and peanut butter. I just wished all the toppings including the fruits were mixed together. Not a deal breaker FARMERS TOAST - one can never go wrong with the classic avocado toast and poached eggs, good portion again, very fresh and tasty, loved the add on of the smashed pumpkin. Brewed Coffee - I am a coffee addict and if u want to spend some time working with my laptop I prefer alot of coffee, their bottomless brewed coffee was just that and adequately priced. Friends Avenue Cafe is one of the most chilled and laid back place for breakfasts I've been to with really good food at quite reasonable prices. Can't wait to go again to try their other items on the menu. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the breakfast at Friends Avenue I highly approve 😍

This place’s interior is just soooo cute! I loved the table at the center, the chosen chairs and the decoration hugging it all the way from the ceiling. I head so much about this little cafe tucked away in JLT, but since I hardly go to that area, I was excited to pay it a visit when I was in the neighborhood. And what better way to experience a place like this during breakfast time! So we went there early, to secure ourselves a table inside. Staff were very quick to take our orders, and food arrived in no time. We ordered the following: Big Breakfast Board - 2 eggs your way (I asked for poached), served with 2 small organic sausages, sauteed thyme mushrooms, guacamole, beetroot hummus, grilled asparagus, feta with Sumac & Zaatar, seared cherry tomatoes with basil, and multigrain toast. Tricolor Eggs Benedict - 2 poached eggs, served on brioche, sauteed kale, asparagus, spinach, sweet potato hummus with dukkah, avocado puree & Hollandaise sauce on top. The Big Breakfast was massive, and can easily be shared between two people. They make the poached egg perfect, nice and soft in the center. The Tricolor was truly a colorful dish, and the flavors blended so well together. We asked for avocado & smoked salmon on the side. The highlight is of course their organic coffee, which is locally roasted. Highly recommended place if you are in the neighborhood.

Can you name something healthy, tasty and insanely colorful, all at the same time? Right now I can’t think of anything else other than this #MustHave avo on toast from @friendsavenue ’s breakfast menu which is available till 3 pm. Talking about my overall food tasting experience, It’s pretty good! Other than the part were I was too full to eat any more. not just that they customize accordingly to your preference as well. Also warm-welcoming & Friendly staff and they’ve indoors and outdoors area with a beautiful view. Me being a person who loves to sit and work in a cafe/resto. I would say this is a perfect place to be given they charging ports and comfortable seatings. Prices are reasonable for a working person, but to me as a student I would say out of my budget so you know what to do, take your family, chill with them. What do you need more, Just go already!

I had ordered the chicken buttermilk burger, this was surely not the best burger. There was no flavour at all in the chicken, the garnish within the burger was bland as well and the bun was very dry. Above that, the service is very slow as well. The only good thing about the food was the fries. Dont think I'll come here again

Absolutely love their outside seating arrangement - it's super cute! Had an amazing breakfast experience right by the beautiful view. Ordered Green Morning Bowl with poached eggs and Fruit Booster. The Green Morning Bowl was rich and delicious and the portion was perfect whereas the Fruit Booster was refreshing and the coconut shavings along the rim of the glass was perfection! Would definitely visit this place again!

The place is amazing and very cosy. I’ve been there before for breakfast, however, this time I went for lunch and I got very disappointed. The salad which I ordered didn’t taste fresh at all. The kale was watery and the dressing was spoiled and for sure the salad was not from today. If you offer fresh salads, please, at least make them the same day.

This place is right next to my office and we visited it for lunch. Wasn't busy has a nice comfortable indoor seating as well as an outdoor overlooking the lake. We ordered chicken Satay Salad which was great! The chipotle chicken wrap was amazing! The filling was so delicious. The vanilla cherry shake was also just too good, thick and filling. Nice place.

Loved this place for its delightfully put up interior. Like it’s name suggests, this avenue is great place to see friends over a cup of coffee and yes they do make very good latte :) The Food, though little bland, is quite fresh and healthy. Tri color egg benedict is good option to try. Staff is decent and gentle. Only when it gets crowded, the staff(since limited) gets little overwhelmed and the inside tables become noisy as it is little space but that’s supposedly what makes the tempo of this place.

The tea is overpriced since it’s served as a dip with hot water. Everything else is totally worth it! The sandwiches are fresh, the sweet potato fries and wedges crispy and with delicious flavoring. This place gets bonus points for the quaint and cute way it’s done up. It has a really ‘happy’ feel to it. As the name suggests , it’s a great place to catch up with friends. The staff does not rush you and maintains a professional yet friendly distance so it’s also perfect to sit solo and do office work or enjoy solitude and read a book.

I usually order waffles for breakfast from Friends Cafe, and despite dwindling quality I find them to be pretty decent. In the last few days, however, their service has been abysmal! They've messed up the same order multiple times (they've corrected the order after complaints) and they just won't get it right! Today I called them and asked to speak to their supervisor about the consistent mishaps and they told me she was not available as it's her day off (a sunday morning?!?). Anyway, the food might be ok but their systems and services are awful. I'm super hangry right now!

Went for a breakfast, considering the serving size you better have an appetite to devour everything. We ordered the egg-cellent scrambled eggs which came topped on a avocado toast. They don’t do omelettes but have perfected scrambled eggs, comes with a side of mushrooms. The other dish was the tri colour eggs Benedict, again made to perfection. Brioche bread with an avocado spread topped with poached eggs. Two coffees and two egg meals cost as around 120dh. The ambience is beautiful , cozy interiors and beautiful outdoors. This will be one of my breakfast spots in JLT.

I absolutely love Friends Avenue JLT. It’s not just my favourite place to unwind before a long, hectic day at work, but also a great breakfast meetup with my husband. They serve great coffee, their team is super attentive and their breakfasts are AMAZING. My favourite is their Egg-cellent Scrambled Eggs (which comes with sauteed thyme mushrooms, seared cherry tomatoes with basil and homemade guacamole, all served over a generous portion of creamy scrambled eggs, layered over toasted sourdough bread). Another delish breakfast recommendation is their Classic Açaí Bowl; colourful, nutritious and delicious. Please keep up the amazing food, ambience and hospitality. See you soon ♥️

Love trying cute cafes that have a good balance between cheat meals and healthy treats and FAC is just one of them! Drinks: They do super cute and grammable coffee art. My fav drinks here are the Hot Chocolate and the Mango + Passionfruit Juice which is super refreshing and really gives you that “aah” feeling you’re looking for on a summer day 😂 Starters & Mains: The Super Bowl Salad with Halloumi, Kale etc is yummy, healthy and wholesome. The Asian Pasta is good too and perfect for sharing. But my fav is the Tricolor Eggs Benedict and the huge Chicken Ranch Burger with sweet potato fries (Disclaimer: this ones difficult to take down alone) Desserts: Love that they do gluten free brownies, but it’s good for those looking for such options as for me, I prefer my brownie to be gooey, sinful, and decadent. The one that really steals the show in both, taste and beauty is the French Toast that has berry goodness and sweet satisfaction ♥️ Looking forward to the new menu with açaí bowls!

I've been here several times. Coffee is ok (even if a bit burned smell) and ambience is nice. Today I reached the place with my small dog (3kg), but I did not have the possibility even to sit outside. I do not mean inside the place, but in the terrace outside. Seriously? Considering that JLT is supposed to be a dog-friendly neighbourhood, Friends Avenue you are doing it wrong.

I went to Friend’s Avenue for the first time today. The Cafe itself is absolutely lovely decorated. I ordered the Detox salad and a rooibus tea. The salad was tasty, but difficult to know how healthy, as it was quite a lot of sauce on it, if I had known I would have asked for the sauce on the side.

It’s great to come to a restaurant that is different to the usual Dubai offerings which are predictable and chain driven. JLT is slowly procuring a quality collection of good eateries and Friends Avenue is one such place. HIGHLIGHTS - The decor is striking as it mixes an indoor garden cafe with plants, solid wooden tables and homely pale Chesterton style bench sofas. It’s a relaxing place for large groups, couples or just on your own reading enjoying the view. - French Toast breakfast will be divisive but it’s a stunning balance of flavours that 1-2-1 work so well but as a medley achieve more to make a beautiful dish. Slightly sharp but ripe blackberries are met with rich dolce de leche that works because of a rich vanilla brioche coated in a light cornflake crumb that gives enough crunchy which is needed as there’s a GENEROUS crown of cold, creamy vanilla ice cream. I do not praise this dish easily as I do not like sweet breakfast items and this more closely resembles a dessert. - Cold Brew infused with grapefruit and soda is delicious, fresh and light. It’ll be divisive as not everyone will like this pairing of ingredients. LOWLIGHTS: - my “disappointment” is some of the eggs dishes are objectively good but I think the kitchen should push a little harder as the items above tell me there’s imagination and skilled execution that raises the bar. The poached eggs were well cooked when I asked twice for runny. Avocado on toast with eggs is everywhere. I would encourage them to reimagine this. I will definitely come back here with a group. It’s relaxing, the view is good and the food is great.

We came for breakfast with friends and two of us ordered Avocado sandwiches, the presentation of the dishes was fantastic, however the taste was very plain. Maybe I should give it another try with different breakfast options.

Absolutely love coming here! We come every Friday. Favourites include the Very Addictive French Toast, Fettuccine Pasta and a new addition the Epic Jamaican Burger! No matter what we have, no meal is complete without their cold brew coffee. Dragon brew is my favourite! Elderflower is good too. A must visit place 😍

This place reminds us of the time back in Madrid with a restaurant theme very similar, moreover inviting to it's guests. Beautiful hanging garden theme, the place is a youth feeling. The restaurant has outside seating also facing the lake which is perfectly suited for the winters. The menu is extensive though the vegetarian options are little limited. There is a large selection of drinks to choose from: coffee, smoothies and other beverages. The food is tasty; however we felt that it was little high on the price end. The staff is extremely courteous and welcoming. Recommend this restaurant for a brunch on the weekend for an experience.

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while! The Big Brekkie Board serves as a killer breakfast with a great bang for your buck. Great attention to detail from the interiors to presentation and right down to the paper straws. Staff were friendly and prompt. Ample parking right at the door-step. I can't wait for the weather to cool down to enjoy the views outdoors.

Great alternative, funky and casual joint just a few steps from Damac metro station. Very good food (breakfast dishes are awesome) and they have a very good lunch deal too. Espresso is too bitter (probably due to the local roasting) but their americano is just right.

Time and again I've said that the best breakfast in town is at Friends avenue cafe. There is something for everyone; if you want eggs, or pancakes, or a meat board for breakfast. I personally love the tricolor eggs Benedict and get it every single time without a fail. The interiors are amazing too, making you feel like you're in a cafe in LA, perfect for afternoons where you want to grab coffee with a friend.

Was walking around JLT on the hunt for a good lunch spot. It was my first time to walk near Cluster T and this artsy cafe caught my attention. Although it was on the second floor and quite hidden from the main road, was surprised to see it was full on a weekday. Love the interiors and attention to detail. Menu has healthy vegetarian options but I indulged myself and got good old chicken chipotle wrap. It was sooo good. It comes with a side dish of your choice too. This is perfect for a sit-down long(er) lunch. It would be nice to sit in the outside part of the cafe overlooking the lake when the weather's cooler. Definitely coming back. This time with a friend ;)

Dear management, Always been a fan of this place...love the breakfasts and coffee there so decided to try the elderflower cold brew today. Unfortunately the syrup was bitter and the soda was flat...when I politely requested it to be changed then they got me a different drink. Upon billing, I was told quite rudely that I will be charged for it which came as a shock since I barely took a sip...despite being returned John and Joice blamed that because it's my taste buds it's irrelevant to the billing. Just sharing since I'm a fan and will always be but this leaves a literal bad taste in my mouth.

Dont know how they have such a good rating because food sucks. The Cubano sandwich had bread which was half an inch thick only, dry and stale. Beef inside was rubbery. Baked potatoes that came on the side were either overcooked or raw. Salmon fillet was gross, the box was leaking with water or juices, the “salad” was soggy and unappetizing. waited an Hour for delivery and it was an awful experience that I wont be doing again.

The ambiance from outside compelled us to try this place. Pretty amazing, no doubt! Little bit pricey for the food we tried (satay) but their coffee and hot choco are good! Staff are accommodating. Good place to chill and read and do reports or edit videos! 🤪

honestly if it wasn't for the "super delayed breakfast" I might have rate it 4 or 5 stars. basically we were the first one to be in the cafe but they totally forgot about our order. we finished our coffee, we finished the whole bottle of water and the breakfast was not there because they forgot about it! otherwise the food was so good and tasty

I ordered a tenderloin that came with goat cheese curd, balsamic mushroom, spinach, and other sautéed greens. The dish was quite nice in general, however the beef quality was low and the sauce was overly salty.

I had the prettiest breakfasts from this place. It was so pretty I could cry. I got the it so waffles and they were made crispy to perfection. the plating was super pretty and the waffles came with some delicious fresh strawberries and blueberries. Highly recommend this place for their sandwiches and burgers as well!

Friends avenue lives up to its name as it’s one of my favorite places to have breakfast over the weekend. I can’t really NOT recommend anything because it’s all good but the French toast has to be my favorite. The staff can be a bit friendlier though.

Live this place! We had the green bowl, tricolor Benedict, french toast and my favorite part is the elderflower cold brew coffee! It’s a great breakfast spot, ambience is nice, waiters are friendly and the food is sooo good with very reasonable prices! The setting is great but the sun hits really intense if you’re sitting outside so we moved inside.

Come here often with friends for Saturday early lunch, they have good size of food and options. Smoothie is great, you will leave with full tummy. My fav dish is the duck wrap with potato.

Breakfasts are really really good, not a big fan of their sandwiches though. My favorite dish is Good Morning Bowl, healthy and full of flavors and textures. French Toast was super yummy. Coffee is great in any of their presentations. And I love that they have matcha latte. One of their downsides is the bathroom, I know that it belongs to the building but they should pay more attention. Or at least push building management to maintain it cleaner.

Fabulous breakfast place in JLT surroundings. Must try Tricolor Eggs Benedict! Portions are good size, food delicious and coffee to wake up. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. Outside terrace very small with tables being too close to each other, however still the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Will be back soon!

Picked this hidden gem in JLT. Loved the cozy tables & outdoor seating area, the water view & sun reflection. Loved the menu & friendly staff. Loved the portions, prices & the flavor & presentation. Had the healthy big brekkie, Loved everything about it but my only disappointment was that food was served really cold. Definitely going there again and hoping this wouldn’t be the case :)

I have been wanting to visit this cafe after hearing positive feedback about the food and atmosphere of this cafe. Finally over the weekend I got to go here brought my planner and book and could have not picked a cozier place to have coffee and some me time. The place is so pretty practically every corner is! There’s a big square table which can sit about 8 people with beautiful lighting and flower arrangement on the center just when you enter the cafe. Outdoor seating is also available with a view of JLT.The menu is evenly varied with price just average. I had cafe mocha and a slice of carrot cake which was absolutely perfect. The cafe is not overly crowded which means you can still enjoy some peace and quiet and me time. Defo must try and be visiting this soon.

0 star on the service!! I was in line first, then was totally ignored and the next person was served and was immediatley seated ( same nationality as the server ) on the table i have asked for! Server claimed he was here before me, which was total lie, because i heard the conversation between them!! Employees here are RACISTS ! Never again !

I had my breakfast twice here. The atmosphere is very nice. The service is good. The food was really good. The first time, I had eggs on avocado. Ot was a good breakfast with coffee. The second time, I tried the granola, which was really creative and tasty, again with coffee. Sitting outside is nice, but the tables are very close to each other, which may not be a good option if you are looking for some privacy

Food’s really good. Nice choices on the menu. The quaint and cute decor makes it quite instagram worthy too. Ideal for breakfast. Really small place though - so be sure your neighboring table is hearing your chat. A few more smiles from the waiters would be nice. No special treatment here.
