A good place to have nice Thai food 👌🏼
من أجمل الأماكن الي تقدم أكل تايلندي.
fahad al saffar
لا تتوفر حمامات او مغسله لليدين و المكان صغير جدا للقروبات لكن الأكل لذيذ
There are no bathrooms or hand wash and the place is very small for groupings but the food is delicious

This place was highly recommended by a friend and I decided to try it. The food was outstanding and absolutely delicious. We got the kanom cheep, sticky tamrind chicken, jasmine rice, spicy red Thai curry and spicy green thani curry, khao pad and pad Thai . Every thing tasted absolutely delicious. It’s slightly steep but totally worth the price and the portions were quite large . I definitely recommend this place .

I did take away(no option for take away on review so I chose delivery) and happy with their food and great portions! I ordered mild but still spicy so I suggest you not to order spicy if you can't handle it. Their food is authentic and so yummy!! Don't forget Vegan coconut ice cream!

Best Asian inspired Seafood platter in the UAE, Pad Talay Prik Pow, Period! 🦀

While we had heard of @stickyriceae eons ago, ended up ordering from them only two months ago when they finally started delivering through #Covid19.
If you are looking to enjoy authentic home style Thai food, Sticky Rice is the way to go. They serve Tom Yum soup, Mango Sticky Rice and everything in between. 🥘

This is where you head to for delicious Thai food that your mum would cook (if she was Thai!). 🧑🍳 We love treating ourselves to this insane seafood platter at least once a month.
You can find a link to order direct in their bio. You can't help but get excited when your friend calls you up to try a new Thai place. Our feast: Larb PeeK Kai Tohd (crispy sticky wings), Thai Green Curry, jasmine rice, Pad See Ew (fat noodles), and Mango Sticky Rice. Curious about tamarind flavored wings? give it a try! Perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The thai green curry was wholesome but the amount of oil was suprising, perhaps this is how its meant be and delicious nonetheless. I'm definitely reordering the fat noodles - that hint of citrus on each noodle 🤤All ended on a wonderful note, indulging on the mango sticky rice. Unexpectedly we felt light, unlike typical asian-food-induced-coma, and were able to go for a pleasant walk right after (masks on, don't worry ✨)

Sticky Rice with Mango was osm! Small outlet but great taste!

The food here was amazing, the place kept popping up on my Instagram feed and it was worth the trip. Staff is super friendly, music was a bit too loud for my liking but I won’t hold that against them. The wings they had was literally the best wings I’ve ever tasted. The place is a bit small, so always best to go during a quiet time. They should’ve gotten a 5/5 but because of the size, we had to wait a little for seating also. But it’s a great concept, fresh tasty food. Loved it.

I was so hoping to love this place but the experience and food were both extremely underwhelming. Staff who don’t know the dishes well neither care to feel the customers feel welcome. Please make the Penang curry less spicy so it’s edible. It ruined our whole experience. Safe to say we will not be returning
TX
On the pricey end considering the small space at JVC but we decided to give it a try. Very rude staff as the others have mentioned.

Finally tried the food from sticky rice at Jumeirah. This is a small thai family owned business that prepares food with the authentic thai food with passion and heart. We have reach the restaurant around 7:30 and already the place was packed. They do not accept reservations if less than 3 people due to which we had to wait a good 20 - 25 mins to get a table. The small is small which give the homely feeling at the the same time, waiting time is more. They were ready to take our orders before we got the table which helped to get our the starters in 10 mins. They initially served us two different types of crackers with dry chilli paste which was simply yumm!! As a person with spicy palette, this was love at first taste. Then came the Kanoom Cheep - we got half of steamed and half of fried dumplings. The steamed dumplings were good because the flavours were quite bold and evident but the fried were normal. The flavours were not super evident with the fried. Next came the sticky rice in a packed plastic small, woven closed basket. Along with the rice that came out with the Kaeng keaw wan - classic thai green curry in chicken. The portion size was quite good and tasted fresh and exquisite. We had ordered for medium spicy but still we felt it was not spicy enough. The chicken was juicy and the vegetables were fresh. Finally came the mango and sticjy rice ice cream. We both had doubts about the coconut ice cream, not being fans of it. This dessert took the price. The coconut flavour was evident but not at all over powering. The mango was chilled and paired with the green sticky rice, it was one of the best desserts i have tried so far. Thank you for having us over and will be back soon for more.

This place was on my places to visit list for a long while now! What luck I did not forget it as the food is simply delicious in simple words:) loved the vegan green curry & pad Thai. You should definitely not miss trying out this lil hidden gem:)

I wish I can write two reviews here; one for the food (4/5) and another one for the mango and sticky rice ice-cream (5/5).

This place is a great hidden gem in JVC; it’s a bit hard to get a table but it’s worth it. Skip the spring rolls and dumplings and order the wings for appetizer (they are delicious). The green curry was one of the best I have ever had in Dubai and their sticky rice compliments the dish perfectly.

I would definitely go back but until then, I will keep stopping by for their ice-cream every-time I’m in JVC.

Amazing authentic Thai food. Nice cosy relaxing ambience.

After being on my to try list for SO LONG! I was a tad bit disappointed with the flavour of the food. Loved that they have vegan options but there was none of that lovely Thai spice to both the khao pad pak and the pad thai pak. But very generous quantities and I did love the cha mo(Thai iced tea blended with coconut cream). The place is a bit far off but still worth a drive down there..

Authentic Thai restaurant!! It takes you back to Thailand memories. Loved the presentation. The food served is fresh. Its always packed. It hardly has sitting space and long waiting list. It's worth the wait. Loved the fried rice. Thai curry and the Tom yum soup. Small joint - alotta flavors. Loved it! Friendly staff. The dessert was not that great need to work on that for sure.

So we tried this place on a weekend, its a really tiny restaurant. There were only five tables and if all tables are occupied you could literally eat off the other table, Since the place was full we had to do a take out as they don't have delivery options. We tried the Pad thai, dunplings and the Red Curry with Sticky rice.. Taste - 3.5 on 5, Quantity - 3 on 5, Value for money - 2.5 on 5. Overall - Average - too much hype around this place, there are better options in the neighborhood.
Karina
The place is quite small and secluded in JVC quite cute. Few tables and chairs. I had to wait 40 minutes for a table. Placed the order they didn’t have ‘sticky rice’. The irony in that..Asked for a second round of veg crackers. That also wasn’t available. The Thai green curry and the chicken pad thai was very good without a doubt. Obviously, no mango sticky rice available as well.
Bill was 100AED for 2 dishes, which is on the pricy end considering that no drinks were ordered and it’s a really tiny place in JVC.
Jessie and Jenny were very polite and smiling through out. Service was good.
Would I go back there? No not really, there are other Thai restaurants around Dubai with less waiting time and fairly reasonable. If they start delivery, I’d one of the first few to order!
Melanie
Don't understand why people like this place so much. There are better authentic thai places in the city. We've tried here a few times just to be sure, have had a variety of dishes, and their food is consistently oily and tasteless. Long wait for food, and staff are not the most welcoming.
Tanu
We went with the expectation of a good evening with good food however we were met with unprofessional staff, unclear information and rude behavior. We had to wait for 40 min initially for a table as they told us they have a booking for one person. We waited patiently. After 40 min (8:30 pm)two tables were available so we went in to which a new staff ( she did not have a name badge) told us she has another reservation and she would need the table at 9pm. When I asvised her to give us the available table she denied giving useless excuses. When I said we have kids with us so if she could place the order She told us that people do wait for more than an hour at their restaurant and she could not place the order as we are not seated yet.So after waiting for 60 min we decided to leave and no one told us anything or stopped us. After 6 min I did receive a call and the lady said she was ready to get us seated and prepare our food. So I was astonished how everything changed within 6 min. It made me wonder if all that hassle was on purpose. After all that humiliation we did not want to go back.
Even over the phone the lady was not ready to listen to me at all and wanted to ensure that she called us back and we decided not to go.
I genuinely feel that the situation could have been handled with better decision making and professionalism. You should really consider changing your staff.

Pad Thai was dry and didn't tast good at all

I recently went here and we ordered the their green curry and Penang (red curry). We asked for medium spice. Must say we were very disappointed with the food as it was EXTREMELY spicy for both dishes to the point that I couldn’t even taste the food. When we told the waitress she went back and forth several times and said that this is what we asked for and it’s medium spicy since they don’t have anything less spicy than that. Quite disappointed as I’ve been to this place many times but not sure if I’ll return anytime soon.

Best restaurant in Dubai I’ve had so far. All dishes were 10/10. We had the steamed and fried dumplings, wings, spring roles, crispy chicken, pad thai and stir fried mince. The mango coconut ice cream too was perfect. Special thanks to mama for whipping up a feast fit for a king!
Assad Gondal
Everything ordered was 10/10. Crispy garlic chicken, the wings and coconut ice cream with sticky rice were 11/10.

Very very rude staffs..highly unprofessional.. this place is way too much hyped ! Not worth the money ..Will never come again !
Pierre Gedeon
No pictures for food on menu, food have no taste, no information given on order which take 1 min as the waitress is in rush.
After 2 unsatisfactory feedback the waitress never tried to do anything.
Wouldn't try it again!

We have been coming to sticky rice since they first opened and consider ourselves one of their greatest fans. The food is and has always been excellent but that can only go so far. A few nights ago was the night we chose to say good bye to sticky rice forever and the reason is no matter how good the food is, if the service is that bad then it's simply not worth it, its a shame that a place with real culinary talent will for sure be shut a year from now if they do not remedy the service problem. The issue seems to keep getting worse and the last time we went was the straw that broke the camel's back; we came and they said the table needs 30 mins to be ready, we said great and asked if we could order while we waited for the table which we did, anyway, from when we sat down until when we got our food was 1:15 minutes, and the whenever we politely asked for an update we were either ignored or made to feel like they were doing us a favor, unfortunately the lady at the reception is totally uninterested and sometimes it feels like she is intentionally trying to push away customers, the only time we had semi okay service is when the chefs daughter is there, at least she makes you feel welcome and apologizes for any lapses in service.
Dear sticky rice owners, you are good people with magical recipes do not let it all go down the drain because of unqualified staff, the solution is simple: hire proper servers.

This is such a solid Thai restaurant in Dubai. It’s hidden and a hole in the wall kind of place, and honestly those kind of places are always a treat. The quality/authenticity of the food here is unmatched in any other Thai restaurants I’ve tried in Dubai, including some of the fancier ones. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking traditional style Thai food!
Sai Thakur
Was given a recommendation to try this place as taste is good and upto the mark, tried this place a week or so back, firstly this place is at the other end of Dubai, small place with loud music. Well as people have told me about the crowd here what have noticed that in this neighbourhood there are hand few of restaurants and this being the only thai people who would want to eat thai would rather come here as suppose it's the only one. Well there ate 7-8 tables if not mistaken & yes we waited to get a table, but the was not worth it at all. The taste was simply missing, well had asked for spicy it wasn't even medium spicy, informed no tofu but there was plenty of it, service is laid back as staff don't serve with a smile. Have tried so many thai restaurants in UAE alone this has to be the worst one so far. Have put picture if dishes ordered. The texture of the curry was not there it was rather watery. The rating of this restaurant is way too much hyped.
Samira
The service was really bad and it took forever to get the food and it was tasteless
Siddhi Zeni Prashant Mulaokar
This place has some of the nicest Thai food in Dubai! Amazing staff and ‘mama’ is super friendly and is always offering up treats while you wait for a table
Siddharth Prem
Best thai in Dubai! Nuff said... This is a hidden jem in JVC that we had been hearing about for quite some time and it was well worth the hype. A small store with not alot of seats so be sure to come in early. And in case you are late, its worth the wait.

Thought I’d give this place a try since it’s only a few minutes walk from my place and a friend of mine is in love with it. Asked the server about the bestselling items, didn’t even look me properly in the face or greet me, just answered quickly and left. I waited for a pad thai with chicken and a thai iced tea. I think my two stars are mainly for the iced tea. I’ve had better, but it wasn’t bad. The pad thai’s chicken, however, was a tad undercooked. I couldn’t eat anything for an entire day after that meal. Too bad, the noodles actually tasted good. Don’t think I’ll be trying it again.

Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience this evening. We have been served separate dishes and all the orders have been served more than an hour later. The food was good maybe that explains why the restaurant was completely full and noisy. The staff were not very friendly either, maybe because of their workload.

This little family run restaurant is a gem. The taste is just right, nothing more nothing less. It used to be a literal off the beaten path place however it got so popular, rightfully so though. I would recommend ordering and taking away as the place has limited seating and mostly booked out.
Dania Hassan
The food is top notch but I hope they expand their restaurant
Mutia
The food is amazing: dumplings are to die for and I cannot get enough of the bua loy, it’s AMAZING! But what I really love about the place is the people. Seriously! I once accidentally drop my son’s soft serve ice cream after just 1 second of holding it and the server gave me another one FOR FREE! This gesture just got my heart melting. Just LOVE LOVE LOVE the place!

Sticky Rice -BONA FIED THAI- very well thought and true to its name.Truly a HIDDEN gem of dubai. Stumbled upon the place while looking for Asian Restaurants in dubai online. Every bit of its reviews are true. Being a fan of Thai cuisine I can say it’s the most authentic Thai food you can enjoy in dubai. A very small but cozy and very well decorated place with a very positive vibe, hidden somewhere in Jumeira Village Circle. The menu has been very carefully designed and I loved the selection of items on the menu. If you love Thai food every item on the menu is worth a try. 5/5 for the food, 5/5 for the staff, 3/5 for location (little to far from northern Dubai, but worth all the time and effort reaching there). With its reputation growing with every passing day it’s advisable to make a reservation before going there, otherwise it could be a little wait before they could sit you. I would Love to personally meet the owner of the place “MAMA” and thank her for bringing best of Thai food to Dubai. Wish them all the best and prosperity.

*Jenny and Riya are very polite and accommodating.

Size doesn't matter - It is little tiny Thai Restaurant located in Jumeirah Village. Trust me; Taste of food they serve will bring you from any part of Emirates, not only Dubai. They don’t take booking for the same day, you can go directly and wait for the table to clear. We waited around 40 minutes but it was worth waiting. Parking access is easy and you can find free parking around the Restaurant.

It will cost average Aed 75/- to Aed 100/- a meal per person. We order Popia Tohd, Som Tum Pak , Pad Thai Pak , Kafae Yen – All food was super great, fresh and presentation was 5 Star standard. In drinks; I love their Cold Thai Coffee – must try for all coffee lovers.

Service staff is full of energy and managing all guests needs from dine-in guests and walk-in pick-up orders takers guest.

I missed having my favorite Sticky rice with Mango desert which only available during Thai Mango season.

Overall; it was one of kind experience and Restaurant ambiance also nicely maintained.

Place is very cute, but food was cold when arrived. It was difficult to get the waitress’ attention, and our take-away was given to someone else by mistake. However, mango sticky rice dessert was exceptional, the best part!
Chillimond
Wow. Fresh, spicy Thai food in Dubai. Good luck getting a table, this tiny place is incredibly popular, but it is worth the effort as it is a real gem. The pad krapow with chicken and fried egg is sublime and if I close my eyes I could be eating in the street markets of Chiang Mai. A real authentic experience with no frills but all the passion of Thailand and perfectly balanced flavours and spice.
Hafeel
We really loved the Pad Thai,Mango sticky rice here.
I recommend this place.

Food was good.. real good. However waiting time is really unbelievable. We came at 2pm but there were no seats so we had to wait after an hour to be seated. No exagerration but we had our tom yum on our table at 4.30. I am in awe. Had the second main course after 30 minutes. And few minutes for the dessert. I would like to commend the staff who was really good at pacifiying customers and you can see on their faces that they were concerned and sincere that we are waiting for a long time.
I totally agree that mama makes everything from scratch and thats a good thing however if you will ask me to wait for 2 1/2 hours for the food, think I will have a second thought of coming back again.

After all the pictures on instagram I couldn't wait to come to dubai to try sticky rice, and so it was our first stop at dubai.

Regarding the welcoming, We went in the restaurant the staff at the front desk were not welcoming, in-fact they were frustrated and didn't even have time to talk to us.We asked them for an approximate waiting time since we wanted to know what can we do meanwhile waiting but they didn't attempt to think of an answer. Their answer was "do you have a car? Go wait in it and we will call you when we can accommodate you." !!. Luckily they called us in approximately 20 mins.

Regarding the ambience,The restaurant was so hot and the smell of food was so strong to the extent that we left smelling like food, an experience i never had before. Flies we all over the place, flying all over the restaurant from plate to plate. The ambience made me feel sick while waiting for the food. In addition the fan from the front desk was blowing into my head and gave me a terrible headache.

Regarding the food timing, The food was super late. When we asked when will we get the food, the waitress said "look all people are waiting, not only you, also we have a lot of orders for delivery, people are waiting at their homes!", as if its my fault or my concern that people are waiting too. At the end, It took 60 mins to get the food. I never experienced this anywhere! And All the food arrived at almost the same time. Salad, Soup, Starters and Main.

Regarding the food,The salad was so soggy not tasting freshly cut. The shrimps in the salad were so soft to the extent i was worried to eat them. The spring rolls didn't taste good. Their fillings was so mushy.

Yes i understand that this is a family run restaurant. But I've tried family run restaurants all over the world, they all had three things in common, welcoming, friendly and cosy, this is missing in Sticky Rice.

My experience is devastating and not worth the wait nor the food.

This thai food place is a cosy spot with warm people who would serve us the best thai food. We ordered their fried rice, noodles ,thai green chicken curry and winded up with their delicious desserts which included bua loy and their famous coconut ice cream with mangoes. They were generous enough to give us a complementary tasting of their newly created hibiscus flavour ice cream which was incredible. A hidden treasure for thai food inside JVC.
Gerry Blaksley
Tiny mom & pop shop with amazing food! We had the pad see ew, pad Thai, and fried rice. All amazing. For desert we had the vegan coconut ice cream with mango and sticky rice on the bottom. That alone was worth the trip. It is hard to find and even harder to find a place to sit but worth the journey.
Whiskybird
I love Sticky Rice foods! It's addicting! Once you taste any of their foods, your wallet will be sorry as it's a pricey menu. And you'll have to have a lot of patience because they are always full, it's either you'll wait for 2 hours or go home disappointed, frustrated & hungry! The clams, the vegan sticky rice ice cream and all of their foods!
I understand that they have special menu all from scratch by "Mama", but man, it's pricey!
Food is 10* but I'll give 3* because it's pricey!

The best thing i ever had. No dishes at this place is a miss. All dishes hit a perfect score. Crave it day and night. Way to go. Mama thanks and God bless

Ok i love the idea and concept. Of ameenah the duck. I knew what to order before coming here. Been watching the page on insta for a week lol. The fried/steemed wontons are awesome. We ordered one order half fried half steamed. And we ordered the seafood feast. In prik sauce. I like. Just one problem. Staff is very plain no smiles. They look exhausted. And prices are a bit high. The cheapest food is 36 maybe it can be 25 instead. And tomyum is 35 everywhere. U guys are awesome but pricy.

Kindly consider adding Emirates airlines platinum discount. Alot of thai ek staff come to sticky rice. We need discount.
Ahmed
The place bring such experience for any foodie out there, I am not familiar with Thai Cuisine but after coming to this joint I am more curious in trying as many dishes as I can. The staff were very friendly even when the place was full and our order took some time to be prepared they were always checking on us and updating us.
The food was really delicious, I order some chicken wings marinated in Thai spices and sticky rice and my wife ordered a seafood platter that looked heavenly but I had my wings to worry about!
It is a small joint that cares about delivering the finest and authentic Thai cuisine.
Tamujin
I don't usually write reviews, but since it took me 3 dine-in attempts, 2 delivery attempts with long waiting times that needed to be cancelled, or the sub-standard customer service, I realized everyone needs to understand what the hype is about!!

We ordered the following:
- chicken kanom cheep (dumplings)
- chicken kaeng keaw wan (green Thai curry)
- chicken pad see ew (flat noodles)
- Khao below mamuang (mango sticky rice)
- Side of sticky rice

Total damage: AED 168

I am no expert on rating the authencity on how Thai cuisine tastes, but it has to be said, the food was 5/5 bang on the spot!!! Each bite was as exquisite as the previous one!! The portions were plenty as well for all 3 adults munching down on the food 🙂!! Honestly, it was an amazing experience!!

Having said that, that's where the experience ends, on the food and that's it. Regardless if you dine-in or take-out, the experience should be 360 for the customer and unfortunately the customer service is where the restaurants downfall begins. The lady taking my order never guided me on the menu as she was "managing the restaurant alone" and quickly took my order and hung up the phone or the multiple times we came to the restaurant and had to see ourselves out as there was no one available to entertain us. I get it, it's fine, the restaurant is busy, the hype is real.....but you need to learn and grow from this quick or you loose customers. I can tell you that you've lost me as your customer as it's just not worth the effort to dine-in or take out until the customer service aspect is sorted out.

Good luck Sticky Rice!

Simply I can say it’s a hidden gem 💎. Home made Delicious food . The location is difficult a bit . It’s in barsha south. Simple place, small and great service ever.

Highly recommend
Ravi Sabnani
Probably one of the best Thai restaurants in town. Cozy small spot, with Mamma cooking home- style food with extra servings of warmth and love. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving a home-style Thai experience. ♥️ My only complaint / regret is that I cannot order their food to where I stay (The Greens) to get my fix for when my Thai food cravings act up :)
Sasa
Came to visit the restaurant all the way from Sharjah after hearing Good reviews about it only to find it out of food at 9:55 pm on a weekday! 😔 such a downer
Karine Ataya
Am really not being nasty this was my third visit and it was such a horrible experience. For a place that closed down for a month to expand the restaurant is still as small and the AC was barely working so spicy food and lack of cold air is a big no no. Second of all I realise it’s an order and eat and get out place and I think it’s great but having two staff only at the front is not fair for your customers as both ladies are in a constant hurry and have. I time to be cordial and welcoming to people. Third of you are that limited in capacity then maybe stop deliveries on weekends? I am not sure but this isn’t manageable...delivery guys in the shop along with customers and staff...over crowded. As for the food it came after a 45 minute wait...yes we were told it would be a bit late but not this late! And when it came it was not even hot I had to send my food back and my cousins noodles lacked flavour and came on the warm side. I liked it better when people didn’t know about the place so much now it’s loud, hot, smelly and noisy and the food is not up to par. I won’t be coming back anytime soon to the place.

Just got back from my favorite restaurant ( after only my 2nd visit) and i enjoyed it so much that I want to keep it as my own little secret but it’s so good that the world deserves to know. I wish Mama would adopt me so I can eat her food everyday. Every single dish that I ate was spectacular.

When you eat at other places when you are full you are thinking home and couch , but here at the Sticky Rice am already thinking when am coming next and what I am going to order.

Maryam is such a gracious host , always so kind and friendly. Zomato only has 5 star ratings but this place deserves a perfect 10!!!

Ps: I am quarter Thai and this is authentic ! 😊

Went all the way there and found out it was closed from a sign on the door :( I wish they had posted information about the Ramadan closure on google maps or here

Tried this joint out because a friend told to me. So small, and very oily smell inside. Not tried so much Thai food, and probly not again. No space and not that friendly people. I don't think I will go again. Prefer others in JVC

One of the best places I have eaten in a long time. Must try the clams. Ordered it 2 days later in a row. Hat’s off to Mama, who really cooks with love. Fresh and tasty. (Sorry no pictures to post Mama, I ate all the food before taking any pictures)

A hidden gem for sure and maybe the best thai experience ever? This one has surely won our hearts. Thank you for making our dinner great. The Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew and the Tom Yum are very much recommended from us.

There is so much to say about this little gem of a place.

A tiny little space with a huge personality that boasts authentic, soul-warming and lip-smacking Thai dishes.

Family-run, this spot's menu is simple but will leave you wanting every single dish.

Tried their only starter and good lord baby cheezits, the Kanom Cheep is D I V I N E. Choose from crispy or steamed, these little babies of delicious goodness are what I would drive from Sharjah to JVC for any day. A spicy, soya sauce based dip to accompany it and boom, you have the starter to beat all other starters.

Ordered the Kaeng Keaw Wan (Thai Green Curry) with chicken and a side of sticky rice and steamed rice. Generous portions with one order filling me and my equally delighted friend up. I'm surprised how no one at the counter we were sitting at asked us to stop making yummy noises (hello Phoebe Buffay reference). Packed with a punch of flavour and spices, the first and only main dish we tried almost 2-3 weeks ago is still featured in conversations with my friend.

To add to your lunch/dinner experience, order a cone of vegan coconut ice cream topped with black sesame seeds (you can add peanuts too!). No guilt, just 100% pure delight.

While you may have to wait to be seated at a table (this could take minutes to an hour so be prepared), it is well worth the wait, fairly easy on your wallet and is most definitely a must-try at least once.

Hands down the best Thai food in Dubai. Exactly how Thai food should be: spicy with fresh ingredients and a whole load of love for the food!
We usually come once a week to get our fix of Kanom Cheep and Som Tum Thai.

The food is so yummy cocked with love, I loved all the dishes that we ordered. I wish they can open branch in deira. Wish them all the best of luck 😍❤️

Absolutely loved this place. It's a go to restaurant for thai lovers. From salads to starters to main dishes to beverage everything is top notch. The staff here is friendly.
The only problem here I would say is the seating space.
Overall, the food is just incredible.
Food - 5/5
Value for money- 4/5
Ambience- 3/5
Service- 3/5

Timings on zomato are WRONG!!

I went all the way to the restaurant just to find the restaurant to be closed on Sunday at 2 pm. So disappointed. The restaurant management should be aware of the misinformation provided to potential customers through Zomato.

Great food, however the wait time was over
an hour. Way too long...in the end the food was worth it. The place is extremely small so would be a good idea to avoid rush hour
First time. Was good. The noodle seafood salad was very nice as was the mango salad. Need to return to try their soups and curries. Recommended.

We love discovering small mom & pop eateries like Sticky Rice in Dubai! There are not enough of them, honestly.

The food is suuuper scrumptious. It’s absolutely a no frills place (we grabbed the food off the counter and served ourselves) but that’s the charm of it.

What we ordered:

1) Kai Yang Khao Neuw (7.5/10)
2) Kui Tiow Tom Yum with Minced Chicken (9/10)
3) Hoi Pad Prik Prow (9/10)

Definitely will be back!!! With friends and fam.

Happy eating 🌷

Nasser Bahlooq
Sticky Rice is a very small place that produces in a very big way. The Thai food is authentic and looks and tastes excellent. It is out of the way and has only 4 tables. I’m sure they do a huge delivery business. We had Tom Yam soup, green curry, papaya salad and steamed chicken dumplings. All were excellent and we will definitely be back.
Have Mouth, Will Taste
We have really been finding some greens lately! This very very tiny restaurant hides on the side of an adjustment in JVC but was still packed when we visited. Here is what we thought:

Food:
Steamed Dumplings - large portion and wonderfully made. They were very tender with a nice topping for a slight crisp of texture
Chicken Panaeng - perfectly served ratio of soft Jasmine rice compliments a spicy and sweet curry I'll gladly order any day (especially if I need to clear some sinuses)
Garlic Basil Shrimp - the shrimp had somehow consumed all of the seasoning while staying soft. Very good
Thai Iced Coffee with Coconut Milk - the sweetness of the coconut milk dominated most of the flavor, but a soft coffee gave it an edge to make it very enjoyable
Thai Iced Tea - definitely not your normal sweet tea; this had a poignant and sharp spiced taste that was nice even if you had to get used to it a bit
Mango Sticky Rice - maybe a bit too much mango, but the rice and drizzle were delicate and flavorful
Coconut Icecream on Mango Sticky Rice - even better than expected! The coconut soft serve tasted fresh and complimented the smaller serving of mango sticky rice underneath

Service: given how busy they were, they were very attentive

Ambiance: the slightly hole-in-the-wall-ish vibe have you the great feeling of finding a hidden gem. Also all of the furnishings seemed to be of a good quality

Bang for Buck: slightly more expensive than I expected, but worth it

We will definitely be back and if they every delivery themselves, it may become a weekly meal.

Best Thai outside Thailand 🇹🇭 .so authentic from appetizer to dessert . Been there for several times, never failed us . We have asked for special dishes which could normally be found in Thailand only . No where could be found here in Dubai or outside Thailand . She nailed it . So authentic , so good 😊 we‘ve been visited Thailand 🇹🇭 for countless time over the last 3 decades and have tried so many Thai restaurants , those called themselves Authentic Thai here in Dubai , end up only a disappointment . If you are an Authentic Thai food lover . THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU . For us , Nbr 1 : Sticky rice , 2 Benjarong -Dusit Thani 3)Ton Thai - Marriot marquis . Enjoy 😉

A pretty good hidden gem! I ordered from them on Deliveroo. The customer service on the phone was nice and smooth, good English and no problems with communication.

First time, I ordered the Pad See Ew and a Penang Curry. They both tasted good but the curry was too spicy for my liking. If you are a spice lover though then this is not going to be a problem for you.

Second time I ordered a Pad Thai and a Neau Dat Deaw. Flavors were on point and I could really tell that it is authentic. The sticky rice that it came with... explains why they named themselves after the side dish... it was the best sticky rice I have ever had! The texture was perfect- not too hard, not too mushy, just right.I'm excited to visit their branch for the full experience and to try out their dessert. They didn't have all the dessert menu options available on Deliveroo so I'm going to have to visit because the options are all very interesting especially as there was pandan!

It’s a hidden gem ... I am in love with this place... since they have opened me and my husband have been literally going to this place and it’s like our second home..

The best Thai I have ever eaten in Dubai ... very cozy, filled with love .. food made with love as well. U need to have patience for tasty food .. might take time but it’s all worth it..

Food: loved their dumplings, red curry is so authentic, Tom yum soup is soooooo delicious .. and their Thai ice tea are the best dishes I guess the only dishes I have tried ...

I order and visit their place twice a week. A bit expensive for the place but when u get the dishes right who cares the money.... as far as ur tummy feels goooood ..

I wish they come up with good affordable combos with red curry and dumplings ... or their own delivery where we don’t have to pay extra for talabat.. when we live few blocks away.. i have been waiting to review them.. they nvr let me down of the dishes u order..

Staff: the owner, mariyam and chef mama are very sweet and amazing people when u get to know them ...

Just love you guys and keep serving us these best dishes u make .. all the best and I would highly recommend this place to all “U Thai lovers”.. I am sure u will nvr regret.

Cheers ❤️

Best chicken dumplings in all of Dubai. Small family joint with delicious authentic thai dishes that pack a punch. Every time I go I try something new and I’m never disappointed.
