I went there for a get together and had a great time. The food was really nice and the service was wonderful. A must visit with the family.
To good veg restaurant .with valet parking .good staff
Excellent food and great ambience. Love eating here!
Been here several times and thought writing a review for this is a must. Ambience very classy with ample seating arrangement and pretty chandeliers. Food impressive as usual, for some reason I find their food items better than other puranmal branches. My personal favorite has always been here their paneer chilli, burnt garlic fried rice, samosa chaat and chole Bathure. Their Chinese delicacies are absolute winner for the vegetarians
Visited here with parents and found this place really nice, the service of the staff was very quick and friendly.
A place for good food, good taste.
i ordered mix paratha and masala dosa. freshly prepared. piping hot. masala dosa was good. the mix paratha was very good . the food quantity was also good. i wouldn't mind going here again if i am in the area

Everything was yummy. Will visit again. They have buffet on friday.
Awesome place for veggies lover, nice environment.. awesome customer service by staff and great suggestions from manager.
Thanks for wonderful meal.
Will definitely come back.
🙂
Very impressed with the service and food 😍 keep up the good job!! ⭐️The only restaurant from which I always order vegetarian Indian foods ❤️
The sev puri was tasty and little spicy. Broccoli soup was ordinary. Manchow soup was delicious. Quantity of 1/2 soup was huge! Mixed veg Paratha was fine. Masala pav was decent. The sweets in puranmal are tasty and hav variety, I expected the same for desserts but choices r limited. All in all its decent.
Quality of service: Great
Vibe: Good
Recommendations: we had come with the family and ordered the paper dosa. It was huge and very filling
We ordered for chutney sandwich and veg sandwich. If you love desi food chutney sandwich is good. Quick service.
This is my place for breakfast on weekends when im in the mood for desi
I love their puris and dosas
and the place is classy and fancy.
Jumeirah 1 outlet I visited after 5 years. It has sweets of whole Subcontinant of India. Since it is Devali time
Even at midday crowded with customers.
Valet parking was great relief for us.
Kala Jamun was delicious
Jelabi was crunchy and good.
Best place to visit for all kinds of sweets. Food we get here is excellent too. Had visited this out few days back to buy some sweets but was tempted to try out some dishes from the menu. We orderd for Vada sambar, rawa masala dosa, pao bhaji dosa and Bombay grill sandwich. All the dosas were fantastic, sandwich had good stuffing and tasted good too.
The food entice you to come again and again with mouth watering food like Pasta most later kebab platter Tandoori Momos platter and samosa
Good food, good taste, good ambience is what vega is all about.
I went with zero expectations but was impressed with its ambience, sweets section and beg tandoori dish.
I am pure Vegetarian searches only veg food.
Someone refer as oldest Vegetarian restaurant as Vega By Puranmal.
Ambiance is good. Service is fastly responsive. Food is too good, tasty and amazing.
I have visited this place couple of times. Its an attempt by Puranmal to cater fine dining. While they have done a very good job at getting the ambiance and location right other things such as service, cleaniliness, food quality and taste miss the mark on making the experience pleasent.
Ambience 4/5
Food 3/5
Service 3/5
Value for money 3.5/5
Nice ambience and comfortable.. the service is really very good..the food l love it...chole samosa Chat..and paneer tikka...for staters..and i love the spicy puni puri...
Outlet in Dubai named Vega by puranmal search the best north Indian and South Indian food I love the food there and their services I ordered dosa idli and dal makhani with butter naan food is so awesome that I want to come again and again my rating is justify the food taste
i have visited the outlet near Media production city petrol pump branch and there are lot varieties of veg dishes.also the prices are comparatively reasonable.Sweets are little expensive which they need to reduce
If you're craving for something quick & spicy while roaming around Jumeirah, Puramal is the best place to stop by. Don't plan just visit as it's for quick bite and very reasonably priced...
They have valet parking so you don't need to be worried at all
The pani puri of this place very tasty, the spicy Pani with puri was very tasty and I also ordered Paneer Tikka which was well cooked and well fried.
Visited for dinner with friends (4 pax)
Ambience — Comfortable and nice
Service — Top, couldn’t ask for more, they even offer Valet Parking which is convenient.
Food — High quality, tasty and decent portion sizes as well. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains accompanied with breads and raita which was plenty for all of us.
For starters we had the Chole Samosa Chaat and Paneer Tikka, both were perfect, exactly what you’d expect.
For Mains we tried the Dum Aloo and a Semi Dry Paneer dish called ‘Paneer Hara Pyaaz’ on the servers recommendation. The Dum Aloo lived up to to its description and the Paneer dish was something different, surprisingly spicy but very enjoyable!
Trustworthy, reliable and a mainstay in the Dubai Vegetarian North Indian and Chaat space, would recommend and of course, keep revisiting.

Personally I feel the best samosas in town are made by Puranmal. My office is hooked to Puranmal samosas ever since I ordered it for the first time. Need to improve on delivery timing.
Expect more orders!!
I had lacha tokri and mushroom and corn cheese sandwich. I am glad that i made the right choice and was delighted with the amazing taste . Overall the place was fun to visit.
Visited on 4/3/19 and ordered (a) #rajkachori (AED 15.24) at @vegabypuranmal - Hailed as king of kachori (crispy ball) is a sweet and tangy snacks item from India. Its normally garnished with hung curd but I chose to take curd separately so that I can mix how much ever I want. The kachori is filled with tonnes of things like cut onions, pomegranate, sev, corriander leaves etc. Its come with tamarind and green chutnies. Loved it so my PmP rating is 4.5*.
#pavbhaji (AED 21) at @vegabypuranmal - Fast food of India which comes with soft bread and thick vegetable curry. It believe to be originated in textile mills of Mumbai where it used to be served as quick lunch. The spiced mixture of curry is made from mashed vegetables. Cut onions are served and used for garnishing but gives different taste when mixing with bhaji (curry). This dish in partcular was good and I liked it so my PmP rating is 4*
Visited on 22/4/2019 and ordered #zaatar #samosa (AED 15) at @vegabypuranmal - A fusion of Indian and Arabic, this samosa is something unique one because of zaatar filling with other savories , peas and mashed potatoes. Triangular shape is pecularity of samosa. It comes with chai (Indian tea) so best to have it at evening snacks. Loved it and I think all because of Zaatar inside so my PmP rating is 4.5*.
It's a boon to have a vegetarian restaurant which serves some tasty food. Being a non-veg, Vega surely impressed me.
Tandoori aloo, momos, puri sabzi, gajjar halwa were absolutely lip smacking. Surely coming back again.
We had dum aloo, pasta , tandoori platter , chhole Chaat , the dishes were amazing they had the right balance of spices it's a great place for Indian food I would recommend it .
One of the best and oldest vegetarian Indian restaurant of the town. Had aloo paratha its tasty served with yogurt. Restaurant maintain high quality in food.
Vega by Puranmal is all things Puranmal and more. What won me over at dinner was the hospitality more than anything else. Innovative dishes with a twist such as the seekh kebab Masala, cheese naan and others. Portions were great for a table of 4 and every dish unique in its own way. With indoor and outdoor seating, Vega promises a great overall experience.
Food was very good and up to the standard. Ordered Firangi subzi and vegetable biryani. Loved the taste and it was healthy enough without much of oil. Recommend this restaurant to others.
I Had stopped in to get sweets for the Hindu festival, bought all the sweets and even had lunch
Recommeded: Vadapav , pani Puri, pav bhaji, paneer tikka and many more snack bites...
Good location with Valet.
Loved the pan e'er tikkka and the dum aaloo from here when I had it a few weeks back, they were really tasty and so delicious, a total tasty and yummy meal it was!
Nice staff and good place for breakfast
Went with a friend for Alo paratha and bajhi and was nice and authentic
Also they have very tasty dal and I can go back for it
When it comes to chaats or sweets Puranmal never lets you down . Liked the ambience of this branch .Food and service as usual was awesome . Only thought parking was a bit of an issue during busy days , otherwise rest all was 👌👌
I liked Vega puranmal.
Taste- really good
Ambience- ok. Nothing great.
It’s like any other puranmal restaurant.
Value for money.
The party hall upstairs is good for small parties. However won’t give you and your party any privacy.
A really good option for Indian food on the Jumeirah Beach road stretch. The prices are economical, and the menu is as extensive as your imagination. Choose from chaats, starters, mains, desserts, sweets, and you can also buy namkeens, condiments, sweets etc from here. The Pav Bhaji is good, while Palak Paneer is my favorite.Don't forget to order Rasmalai...it's got too many pistachios.
We are not vegetarian but we loved the food palak paneer etc the sitting was really nice the staff was friendly the view of beach with the food makes my day ladu was yummy
Despite my error in choosing the incorrect address, they patiently brought my order to the right place in speed time. Was thrilled with the courteous people I spoke to on the phone and their understanding towards my mistake. Also, samosas we’re still piping hot!
All the food was delivered just like instructed. Packaging of the dosa kept it crispy.
Pav Bhaji was less oily as well.
It was value for money
An Indian restaurant and vegetarian
I had dosa, dhai bhalle, channa masala, tamatar pyqaz ki sabzi and paneer tikka.
Dosa was ok ok, dhai bhalle was good(must try) paneer tikka was also good. Overall a good Indian food in Dubai
Place is good
Friendly staff
Located in the Jumeirah area, the outside seating of this restaurant is pretty especially during the evening hours. The interiors too are well done and though they serve some items over the counter like sweets and mouth fresheners (mukhwaas type items) and some savory snacks, the counters look fancy too and nothing like the fast food setup where similar items are sold.
Hopped in here one evening and tried the chole bathure and masala dosa. We weren't that hungry so didn't order a mighty meal, settled down for two items that easily took care of our medium hunger pang. The bathuras arrived piping hot and looked mouthwatering too. They were fluffy, soft and with the first bite, I was assured I was going to gulp it all down. The chole was good too, not the pindi chole, but tasted nice and went well with the bhaturas.
The Masala Dosa was another nice item on the menu. The dosa was part crunchy part soft and that made me relish every bite. The sambar tasted normal but the coconut chutney had a fresh flavor to it and so did the red chutney.
Service was prompt, food arrived pretty quick and the servers were friendly too. Overall a very nice and satisfying meal and I will visit for again for sure.
best in sweets and customer service
Restaurant ambiance are vary nice. Food was vary tasty. I try dhaniya or kalimirch ka shorba, lasuni Palak, and seekh kabab masala. and quantity was vary good. Specially most I like shorba I must say try every one.
As usual, Puranmal paneer tikka is awesome.
Ordered, delivery time mentioned was 50 but they have delivered it well before the time. Very professional service and quality food.
Just for paneer I will give 5/5, but the rise was more spicy than usual.
Favourite vega restaurant

This place rocks for vegetarians !! Unlike other fast food vegetarian joints the food is high quality and good in taste .
Ordered panipoori ,Momi Hindustani grilled Kababs Everything was finger licking good
We also had cannelloni and Anu gratin .
Pocket friendly great staff ,
Great ambience
The ambience was nice along with the melodious music. Service was also good. The staff were prompt. Food was good too. We simply loved their Lasooni Palak which was absolutely delicious! Chaat and paneer curries were nice. But their Subz Biryani and Orange blast drink get a thumbs down. The biryani was too spicy with A LOT of masalas while that drink wasn't at all tasty!
Spent a good evening and had a nice experience at Vega - Jumeira.
Pleasantly surprised by the outdoor arrangements and ambience. Indoor provisions were equally nice though. Well managed and nicely trained staff who do pay attention to the finer things. The menu offered a very wide range of Indian delights, some were quite exquisite too. The food was fantastic and the portions served - was surely worth the spend.
All in all; a different kind of experience than what one normally expects at Puranmal. Definitely worth visiting... especially during winter... with outdoor seating. They have vallet parking provision which makes it convenient.
Fresh samosas I ordered for my team. They loved it
Excellent service in all areas. A little improvement in the vallet parking side needed. A place worth visit with family and other occasions. Excellent customer service ambience is rich in decor. Excellent location too
This place has never failed to please me. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in a mood to try some vegetarian Indian food and Sweets. I would recommend their Ras Malai, Dhokala, Pav Bhaji, Vada, Palak Paneer, Rasagulla. Great place both for dine in and delivery.
With a sizable Indian diaspora here, getting vegetarian food is a simple task. With a plethora of dining options, the Indian expatriate is spoiled for choice. With its refined ambiance and varied menu, one should definitely give Vega a try. A walk on the newly developed La Mer is the perfect way to end a heavy meal at Vega and definitely worth the experience. The interiors evoke comfort and are appropriate for what you are paying for. While I was slightly disappointed with the food, the overall experience was enjoyable.
We ordered the following:
1) Mixed Kabab Platter: With serving proportions made for a group of 4, the quantity is adequate. My pick of the lot is the paneer tikka, which is marinated well and work as great appetizers. Coming to the other kebabs, I found them to be well seasoned and cooked. While not as delectable as the paneer tikka, they were flavorful, providing a great start to the meal.
2) Dum Aloo: It’s a relief to see that the main course wasn’t littered with paneer dishes through and though. With an assortment of dishes to choose from, I decided to be a bit conservative and got the dum aloo. The dish comes with 4 serving portions and I found it to be slightly short in quantity. Coming to the dish’s flavors, it is a treat. The aloo, while a bit hard to break into bite-sized pieces, is perfectly seasoned. The gravy has the slightest hint of spiciness in it and complements the aloo. All in all, I was satisfied with the dish and do see myself re-ordering it.
3) Paneer Tikka Biryani: I would consider this to be the USP of this restaurant. This complex dish, with a dash of ‘mirchiness’, was the best of the dishes that I had here. Its abundant serving size makes this a great value for money dish. Many(including me) consider that any veg biryani is a poor substitute for an authentic biryani i.e: a non-veg biryani, but I think that this biryani has given me second doubts about it.
4) Tandoori Roti: The weakest link, the bread is unexceptional. It doesn't help that the roti’s themselves are small. My experience of the roti was that they were just vessels for the sabzi to my mouth and the small serving sizes quickly added to the bill.
The ambiance is pleasant and inconspicuous. The staff is professional, courteous and amicable. The biggest issue that I have is that I feel that the prices are slightly escalated. All in all, Vega is a great restaurant to opt for. Its pleasant interiors, fantastic service, and well-prepared dishes make dining at this restaurant an enjoyable experience.

Though owned by Puranmal, their menu is much more advanced and interesting. It’s one of the perfect spots for Vegetarians with the menu extending to Chaat, north Indian dishes, chinese, milkshakes and obviously desi mithaais.
Will I visit again? Yeah, why not.
Great ambience ...Nice location...Nice Concept...Main Course was nice, starters(Ordered : Soups and Mix Kabab Platter and Gulkand Lassi )was Nice... Mr.Vinay was serving us....Gr8 service done by him...appreciate his service...recommended restaurant and will visit this place again and again to try other dishes.
