One word : disappointing<br/><br/>This place had set high expectations when I had  discovered the place during their soft opening via an invite. The food was absolutely amazing, the cocktails, the service was professional not so friendly but upto the standards of the Jumeirah group. <br/><br/>It was only natural that when I was asked which place I would recommend for a nice fusion dinner : I thought of Kayto. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. From the booking service which doesn't reply after 3-4 calls in the afternoon. No call back service. To the entrance of the hotel being crowded, the parking and valet were overwhelmed which got us a bit late to our table. Our table was given away as we had reached 15mn late without a checkup call from the desk.... fair enough but very unexpected for such a quality hotel. We were asked to wait for few minutes until they would find us a table... fair enough. <br/><br/>Due to the strange time we are living in, I need to write about the covid19 precautions. The social distancing at the location is questionable, the neighbours can hear and participate in your conversation which is a hint for how close the tables are. The chairs are armrests sofas in fabric with cushions, very comfortable, but not sanitized. I found the visiting cards of the guest that was seated in my chair before me... probably fell off his pockets which means the staff doesnt clean the chairs, what else do they not clean?<br/><br/>After being seated, we waited 20mn until one of us got up to find a waiter who then explained to us that menu is to be consulted by QR code .... figure it out yourself. No assistance by the staff, no recommendations on set menus or a la carte. We were not asked if we wanted any drinks. <br/><br/>To be fair the place was highly understaffed maybe one waiter for 6-7 tables, our waiter was very polite he was doing the best he could. He had very limited knowledge of the menu, he was reciting things if you would ask any question out of his learning he would be lost. <br/><br/>The menu during the soft opening was very unique and delicate. I was surprised to see that the menu had changed to a very average Japanese place menu with the typical dynamite shrimps and tempura avocado rolls which you can find anywhere nowadays. This was 90 percent of their menu except for a few sauces and combinations here and there, the fusion title of this place has become blurry. <br/><br/>Special mention for the fact that both doors of the location are kept wide open for the service. Which during a typical Dubai summer day with 70 percent of humidity makes it a typical sticky evening outdoors ...but... in formal wear with a very expensive bill and average food. <br/><br/>Unfortunately the food arrived warm, our sashimi was warm. Sauces including mayo was warm, my guess is the walk from the kitchen to the location which seemed to be outdoors didn't serve the delicate raw fish starters well. <br/><br/>We did not get any visit from a manager to check on us. We tried to communicate our issues with our waiter but he was overwhelmed. <br/><br/>We did not wait for desserts as the temperature and humidity was too much to take in after a 2h waiting for 3 starters and a main. <br/><br/>The saving grace was that the waiter remembered the mention of food allergies and he did a great job in following it up throughout the meal. Plus point. <br/><br/>I would not recommend this location anymore, not for a date not for a family dinner. The tables are very close to each other, there is no privacy. The single table setting in one line like in a food court sets a very cheap tone. <br/><br/>We are lucky to be spoilt for choices in Dubai and unfortunately until they solve some of these issues, I would not recommend. For the price paid, the food, the service, the set up were average. <br/><br/>Note : The hotel has the option of self parking and has set hand sanitizers all around the area and someone checks your temperature as per the entrance.

I booked this restaurant for my husband’s birthday. They messed up the booking even though I booked a week in advance. There was no confirmation and when I called myself one day in advance to reconfirm, I discovered the mistake. Instead of attempting to rectify the situation (even though I was trying my best to change the time and reconfirm with 10 guests) they made it very difficult. One hour before the reservation they called to tell me that I need to give up the table early and if “I don’t like it maybe I should go somewhere else.” Honestly worst customer service experience ever. We ended up having macdonalds and that was more worth it.

Food is just excellent! Extra credit to an awesome waiter named Alexandre!

BEST FINE DINING EXPERIENCE IN DUBAI.<br/>I've lived in Dubai all my life and I was mind blown. We ordered the iftar set menu which was loaded with so many dishes that everytime I thought its over, something new was added to the table. The food is ridiculously delicious, every single item was brilliant, must orders should be Salmon Tataki, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Crispy rice and tuna, Wagyu Beef tacos and miso soup for the starters, cod fish and slow Cooked Lamb for mains, cheesecake for the desert.<br/>The iftar menu is definitely worth the 300 dhs price, you do get alot of food and our server (I wish I remembered her name) was extremely jolly, helpful and a gem of a person.<br/>Will definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go there again myself.

Id rate this 100/10. If you havent tried dining at Rockfish yet, thats LAME. But if you do and loved it, well clearly you havent tried Kayto yet. Kayto is another level. The food is sooooo good, i want to cry. Everything is just carefully crafted I’m out of words. Lets just put it this way, if Rockfish is your girlfriend, Kayto is that ‘girl’ you said she shouldn’t worry about.<br/><br/>Faves:<br/><br/>1. Sea Bass sashimi <br/>2. Salmon tataki<br/>3. Prawn and baby spinach with parmesan and truffle oil <br/>4. Saikyo Miso Black Cod (reminded me of buta no kakuni- its pork tho lol)<br/>5. Shrimp tempura<br/>6. Caramelized eggplant<br/><br/>I equally loved all of them, the numbering is just for the purpose of listing. Now, do yourself a favor and book yourself a table. You can thank me later.

If you're looking for a gorgeous venue, fantastic food and a wonderful view of Burj Al Arab, then look no further.<br/>I'm not usually a big fan of sushi and seafood but I seem to be changing my mind lately.<br/>The food at Kayto was fantastic, I especially loved the tuna tartare on fried rice and the tuna with truffle. The black cod was delicious and probably the best I have had in Dubai.<br/>Service was excellent thanks to our waiter Nichola who was knowledgeable and helpful.

Recent opened luxury view and place tasty food and seafood loved sushi and shisha great ambiance for friends gathering wellming staff since you enter hotel till you reach u will be impressed wish the best for them

First time at the Japanese inspired pop-up Kayto in Jumeirah Al Nadeem and would definitely go back for the variety that they have to offer when it comes to Peruvian/Japanese inspired dishes. <br/><br/>Must orders: oh my goodness their cheesecake is to die for, creme brûlée cheesecake with a mandarin sorbet on the side. Also you must order the spicy tuna roll, rock shrimp, lobster salad, black cod, sea bass ceviche and of course the yellowtail and jalapeño classic. <br/><br/>I’ve had better sushi in Dubai, so if looking for a primarily maki based restaurant this place is not for you, only having a choice of four rolls on the menu, thus being why I have only recommended the spicy tuna roll. In addition to this the soft shell crab was quite a bit fishy so wouldn’t recommended that unless that is your thing! <br/><br/>Overall a wonderful experience at Kayto with the waiting staff being perfectly attentive and the restaurant having such a nice ambience with their outdoor terrace overlooking the Burj Al Arab. <br/><br/>I would say a must try before their close their doors for good, as this is only a ‘pop-up’ location.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. RUDE INATTENTIVE WAITERS. HOT INTERIOR. They Maitre d a lady was non communicative and clueless. The waiter at the table (I think a French gentleman) forgot us and served us hot water. Refill of the drinks at times took 15 minutes. Another waiter (another French gent I think) was extremely rude to us when we were standing outside smoking and literally verbally pushed us out of the way. Waitresses just standing there doing nothing even when you directly request them for something. <br/>Sad as the food is not bad at all and the view of burj a ARAB is amazing but the service was horrible <br/><br/>We had to go to Il boro later to make a night of it
