Went for this hole-in-the-wall experience ... turned out to be in part delicious, in part spicy... ordered the pepper chicken sizzler which was very good and harissa lamb shank which was excellent, went very well with the jasmine rice. The turkish kebabs were on the spicier side, more like the indian seekh kebab, while the mango passion fruit smoothie was excellent... only its a small place and with social distancing gets difficult to get a table at times. The table for a small is too small to fit 2 sizzler plates at the same time.. have to be careful with children around!!🔥... overall a good experience.<br/>

After a long time , found a place where food can be really relished. Amazing Thai Curry and Chicken Tikka Sizzler. Unique preparation and wonderfully served. <br/><br/>It takes time for your food to be delivered, but that is certainly not delay in service. All food is freshly prepared after order hence be patient. It worth the wait. <br/><br/>The lady (owner) personally monitors the preparation and very warm and hospitable. A cozy joint in Oud Metha I decided to try this place.. ordered the chicken tikka fries.. was good and had all the goodness and flavours that you could expect... the steak was cooked to perfection of medium well.. and the mushroom sauce complimented the mash very well.. i had a refreshing iced tea to wash this all down.. if nice food and good ambience is what you need to head down here to try them out..

In my travels to different GEO places.. this is something with different touch, can say when it’s comes to Chicken Wings & if you’re seeking for Asian touch basically Indian/Desi touch ... this is the place to try it ( Desi Wings ) name says it.. , I did ordered the Family Pack with 32Wings offered with 4 different flavors ( Sriracha/Tamarino/Mango-Peri and not sure the last one as it’s was choice from our attendant , something BBQ.. but recommend to avoid BBQ once unless You really like thanduri ..avoid it and try something else from the menu ;) .... not to forget price is reasonable for DESI wings Menu ,.. ps: don’t confuse your self looking at with 3 different menus at Back to Grill .. if you going for Wings then do so , else I’m sure other two might good as well will try on my next visit & keep u all posted 🤤

After a very long time, my friends and I had a very pleasant dining experience.<br/><br/>We were greeted at the door by the owner itself and made to feel very comfortable. <br/><br/>When it came to ordering, we were super confused what to get since everything on the menu looked really good. <br/><br/>The owner himself was taking our order and he made sure to recommend their best sellers. <br/><br/>We ordered their Fiery Sriracha wings and Pickled Paprika Wings. My personal favorite was the Paprika Pickled Wings. It did not have an overpowering taste of pickle but, just the right balance of tango was and spice.<br/><br/>We then went on to order a Lamb Burger, Asian BBQ beef & Bangers & Mash.<br/><br/>All in all we enjoyed all the food and I would definitely recommend everyone to try their food out. Beautiful place, amazing food and wonderful ambience. We tried the lamb shank and it was too good. Not expensive considering the portion size. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Waiting to visit again.

I visited this restaurant for lunch and ordered <br/><br/>Chicken Tikka Fries (Cheese and Chicken tikka masala served on a bed of crispy french fries)<br/>B2G Fiery Prawns (Marinated prawns, grilled and served in skewers with a chili tamarind sauce)<br/>Spit Roast Chicken (Slow cooked chicken on the grill, served with super soft & thin rumail rotis, potato wedges, walnut yogurt dip and chilli mint dip)<br/>Thai Green Curry (A creamy and delicious Thai coconut curry, served with jasmine rice)<br/>Brownie Sizzler (Chocolate brownie with a big scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce, served in a hot plate)<br/>Pattaya Breeze (A must try mocktail of blue curacao, lemongrass, ginger & basil)<br/><br/>All of the above that I had, are highly recommended. Every dish is made to order from scratch, so don’t get worked up if the food takes time to be served because it is worth the wait. Excellent plating of the food, which made every plate visually tempting. Absolute value for money considering the portion sizes, quality and service. Overall, a great experience.

Been to this place a few days back and still cannot get over the goodness of the food we had from there! A small, cozy place located in Oud Metha, Back to Grills brings to your table the best grills from across the globe. This restaurant is a dream come true for two best friends who have known each other for a long time, who share culinary background. <br/>We were here for lunch, were served complimentary Chinese bhel to start off. It was super crunchy and tasted good.<br/>For drinks, we had their Pattaya breeze and Choco peanut butter milkshake. Pattaya breeze was refreshing, perfect for the hot weather. It’s a blend of blue curricao, lemongrass, basil and ginger. The milkshake was good too, not too sweet. <br/>We had their B2G fiery prawns, tasted divine! Have not had better prawns than these so far! Presented well, with prawns on sticks and a coconut oil based dip. We were advised by the chef to pour the dip over the prawns, and believe me when I say this, the best decision was to try this starter! The prawns was marinated well, hence the amazing flavours! <br/>Next we had the lamb chops, which was served with some veggies and baby potatoes in white sauce. The lamb was cooked to perfection, soft and tender. Loved this dish as well.<br/>We then tried their Thai chicken green curry which was served with jasmine rice. One of the best green curries I have had. Such amazing flavours in that bowl of curry! <br/>Our little one had their non spicy (customised as per our request) veg slider. She seemed to have enjoyed her slider. It had freshly prepared patty with cucumber, tomato and sauce. <br/>We tried their baked tangerine yoghurt for dessert. Tasted decent.<br/>Loved that they use only fresh ingredients, no frozen meat or fish. And this was evident in the quality and taste of the food served. So after literally almost 3 months of lockdown and eating food at home we went out shopping and got late so planned to eat outside. <br/>Saw the reviews and went to give it a try. <br/>1st the staff is friendly and will try their best to give you comfort as I know it's a hard time for all us to go out and eat. <br/>2nd We tried their 3 dishes all of them were amazing yet delicious and served warm. <br/>3rd the hygiene was great and I was noticing that they were properly checking everyone's temperature and providing sanitizer so it's proper clean and they were taking all the precautions.<br/>The pictures can't justice you will have to go and experience their yummy good 👍 <br/><br/>

Packaging is the best, especially at this time when food safety is of great concern. We have visited Back to grills many times and they never fail to impress all the time. Their dishes are definitely outstanding and the flavours are so fine and the meat is simply succulent. We love their spit roast chicken which some in a half or full option and comes with fries and rumali rotti. great for two people to share. I love their ice tea, which comes in a long glass, while each sip is so fine. Their lamb chops are one of the best that I have tried. Really good meat, the marination is magical, this is one of my other favorites here. The place is small and cozy but they serve with a big heart and a genuine smile. Its always a pleasure to keep coming back here..

Well such an ordinary dish, I ordered as it was the chef’s specialty but super disappointing, the fish was not crispy the mashed potatoes were tasteless!!!<br/>

A perfect place to order when you have 4 people wanting 6 different cuisines. Every dish was perfection. Be it the butter chicken or Thai chicken green curry. Definitely an undermined gem. <br/>Thai lovers- do try the chicken fried rice with Thai green curry - nothing fancy but yet full of flavors.<br/>Butter chicken - definitely loaded with butter but comfort food and can't complain.<br/>This place can definitely be worth a try.

These guys have some mouthwatering meals! The portion sizes are big and they all taste, what's the word...unique. The Korean BBQ ribs taste completely Korean with awesome Kimchi rice, wow! Whereas their Harissa Lamb Shanks taste so Indian, spice tangy and a huge shank which barely fits in the plate. Order once from them and you will see what I mean...

I usually don’t write reviews and just give ratings. I’ve ordered many times since discovering your restaurant and every item I’ve tried has left me wanting more. Every time I try something new from your menu I’m surprised at how good it tastes. Kudos to your chef and who designed the menu. It’s clear that you LOVE what you do and that you REALLY KNOW HOW TO USE AND COMBINE FLAVORS and that’s a gift and talent in and of itself. Last item I tried was your three cheese roca summer salad. I could taste the summer and freshness. It’s clear that you thought of every ingredient within the salad and how the flavors of each of those ingredients would compliment the others. We ordered the Seared Salmon (spilled out of the box), the Chunky fries (4/5 - can’t really go wrong frying) and the Nasi Goreng (1/5).<br/><br/>The container that had the Seared salmon was open at delivery and the food was all over inside the paper-bag. Maybe Careem now has some level of responsibility in the delivery but I believe that the restaurant is ultimately responsible for the appropriate packaging and presentation of the food.<br/><br/>The Nasi Goreng on the other hand is probably one of the spiciest and saddest looking Nasi Goreng that you will ever come across. On Zomato, there is no spicy tag on the menu, so I decided to give it a go but it got me spitting fire. Went to this place a few days back over the weekend for lunch . We ordered : mango passion fruit shake, melon and berry feta salad, B2G fiery prawns, Thai green curry (prawns), chunky fries, non veg platter, spit roast chicken half and for dessert tangerine baked yogurt . I loved everything we ordered . Definitely recommend visiting this place .

If you enjoy chewing on tier or rubber or want to stress test your teeth and check which one falls first then this is the perfect place for you. I can’t believe it has such a high rating. I think the food authorities should check the authenticity of the meet used because it’s the worst meat I have ever tried in my entire life. Enjoy the test guys. Worth every penny

I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and I totally regret not visiting it until last night. <br/>The husband and I went to dine in last night and we ordered a Turkish lamb kebab and prawn laksa soup for starters. He thoroughly loved the kebabs and I was a big fan of the laksa. It isn't the best laksa in Dubai but it comes a close second or third. The two starters were a big hit. For mains, he ordered the Tex mex which I was skeptical about and I ordered the Korean bbq beef ribs. His steak was ordered medium and to our pleasant surprise it was perfect medium upon arrival. The steak was a big hit too. My korean ribs was the last dish and it was huge, I was way too full by then! However, being a big fan of Korean sauces and spices and that too with kimchi fried rice, I wasn't going to skip the dish. The ribs were meaty and the rice wasn't exactly kimchi but it was not a disappointment. I'd definitely come back and even end up ordering some of the same dishes, maybe all of them, none of them disappointed! Can't wait to try the other dishes.. probably end up frequenting more often now. Oh and I forgot to mention, the management is very polite and friendly and a bunch of them kept checking on us and we were thrilled by the hospitality! Good job guys! Will see y'all soon!

A hidden gem, A restaurant nestled in a tiny corner in Oud Metha!<br/><br/>The ambience was nice and relaxed.<br/>The staff was polite and helpful.<br/>As the name suggests, upon asking the staff told us bestseller was the grills and the sizzlers and Thai was amazing. <br/><br/>Botton line:<br/>If you are a fan of Asian Cuisine or Grilled item, this place will be a safe bet!

Visited this restaurant last night for some Veg Grills. The chef & staff were welcoming and it’s a nice cosy place. Ordered a cream cheese almond broccoli & cottage cheese pineapple skewers for starters. It was well presented and tasty. Ordered Veg Thai green curry with jasmine rice for the main course. The taste was authentic and perfect. Overall a good experience and must visit.

I came to this restaurant after reading the Zomato reviews. It sincerely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the lamb shank and it was divine. Portion size was big, the sizzler stayed warm and amazing value for money. I couldn’t even finish it and I have a big appetite. Truly recommend people to try this restaurant.

Had a quiet dinner with my dad and hubby. All recipes crafted to T. <br/><br/>The fish was delicious and delicate whilst the side salads were a delight... the presentation was superb... The food gave me a fine dining experience.....The baked yogurt with orange citrus is a must try..... Not to forget the warmth and customer service experience by the chef and his spouse.... Experienced beautiful customer service which is very rare treat these days.....

I went to this place not expecting the food to be that great or of such high standards.. the food has the quality of any Michelin start restaurant. The Thai green curry takes you back to the taste of Thailand and is absolutely finger licking good with the sticky rice. I asked them to make my curry spicy and they did great justice to it.. we also ordered the grilled chicken and that is something you have to try.. it is the most tasty grilled chicken you would have tasted soo far. The vegetable burger is suppose to be a really boring dish however the chef was able to elevate the flavours from exotic vegetables which blended soo well.. I was very impressed with their presentation of the food and unfortunately I did not take pictures and totally regret that.. but the presentation of the food makes you fall in love with the food before tasting it.. although it is a small place, but the food experience is nothing less than a Michelin star restaurant. You should definitely try this hidden jewel.

Got the opportunity to dine in a one day-only special valentine's day menu. The Strawberry Flush drink was citrusy with a hint of star anise and the fried cheese stuffed mushrooms were glorious. The chicken Roulade was a stunningly beautiful and tasty dish served with a meaty mushroom sauce and spice fried spinach. The pepper chicken was extraordinary, with the accompanying yogurt sauce and chili oil adding kicks and dimensions to the taste of the dish. The Strawberry Ravioli dessert was a really special and unique dish, with the pink Ravioli stuffed with cheese and pistachio and served with a custard sauce and salty strawberry smear. I would really love these dishes to be part of the main menu. One thing is for sure, I am hoping to go back soon to taste the rest of the menu!

It was great satisfaction for the tummy and the heart which we got when we had food from here. Each dish had their passion for food.<br/>I had their special.valentine's day menu. The each dish served was superb.<br/>The strawberry splash was refreshing.<br/>The stuffed mushroom was too good. The chicken roulade was amazing. The dish for the day was smoked pepper chicken with soar cream.<br/><br/>The sweet ravioli was yummm. Loved the whole spread. A must try place.

Can't pass the day without giving thanks for the extensive and heart felt service by the staffs , sometimes it's about the treatment that makes the food more tastier. The food served was customary to your taste buds and recommended best eat out with your loved ones.

Tasty and well presented.

Went there over weekend for dinner. A small comfy restaurant to enjoy mouth smacking dishes. Had to wait little long for the food to be served, that was because of dishes we ordered. Ordered fish parcels for a starter and that was mind blowing.The tenderloin and Korean ribs were too delicious. The best was yet to come in the way of a small dessert, zesty tangerine yoghurt. It was something very interesting and yummy. The staff were courteous and the passion with which they cook and serve was something that caught my mind.<br/>Overall a very nice experience and fooding.

I had a great experience when I visited the place. The starters and the main dish which i had were seriously amazing, and I finished my meal with grilled peach melba which was one of the best desserts I had.

It’s a hidden gem in a tiny corner in Oud metha..the ambience,the staff everything is super cool..the grills,sizzlers and Thai was amazing.We had a great time and surprisingly the prices are also reasonable.Will definitely visit again.

After reading many good reviews about this place, finally visited Back to Grills for lunch today with family. We were presented with a complimentary Chinese Bhel which was okayish.<br/>Our order:<br/>Non Veg Platter - 2/5<br/>Veg Platter - 2.5/5<br/>Both the platters were just too pricy and the chicken tikkas and kebabs were not that great in taste. The items in the veg platter were also not marinated well. So overall not happy with this place. Not at all worth the price we paid!!

I just remember Cooking with love provides food for the soul and I'm a hungry soul. The passion of the chef is so evident from the taste and presentation.

So I ordered all of their best sellers the lamb shank, chicken roast, pattaya breeze and the lava pudding... to be Frank food was very unique and delicious but who waits for 35 min for the food to be served..

It has a nice seating area and the food is really good. Lamb chops is really soft and must try. Staff are friendly

The ambience of the place is quite cozy, and the staff ever welcoming and helpful. When it came to the non veg platter for sharing, the portion size was great, however, the smoked chicken was quite undercooked, and the sizzling brownie was actually close to burnt. And you’d know that, given the staff had to open the main door every single time a sizzling brownie was served, just going to show that they’re taking the “sizzling” in the brownie a tad bit too far.

A cosy little place, this restaurant serves some good food. While you wait for your order, they serve you a complimentary crispy Chinese noodles to munch on. <br/>We ordered the Asian beef salad which was delicious with the right amount of spice. The beef itself was so tasty and soft. The beef brochettes were interesting with beef cubes, mushrooms and baby potatoes on skewers. It’s served on a black slate with salad and mayo on the side. <br/>For mains, we ordered just the full spit roast chicken. Crispy with the spice mix on the outside and juicy and tender inside, cooked just right! It comes along with chunky fries, salad and romali roti on the side. (Yum yum) <br/>Would definitely return to try out their other dishes 😊

Cozy joint in Oud Metha. Perfect for this weather. Had the Spit Roast Chicken and Asian beef salad (pure nostalgia). These guys have perfected their cooking! The chicken does take time, but it’s worth every minute. Would recommend to not each much before the chicken though. Over all, great place, awesome food and am going to revisit soon. PS: the chef knows exactly what he’s doing, so money worth spent!

Loved it. The food is on point. We went there with very high expectations since the menu is quite nice and the pictures were really tempting. And oh boy they didn’t disappoint. We decided to go ahead with more of lamb options so for starters we had butternut squash soup and Turkish minced Kebab. Soup was quite subtle in flavors, kebabs too were excellent in flavours and succulent. For mains we had Moroccan grilled fish (sea bass) and harissa lamb shanks hands down the star of the menu. Meat was cooked to perfection, the masalas were not too spicy or bland just hits the right spot. If you are fan of grilled meat then you must visit this place. Prices are quite reasonable for the portion they serve. Can’t wait to go back.

Took 2 hours just to wrap things up during an office lunch break. Very slow service and unorganized operation. Our complaint of slow service was met by utter disregard by manager, who didn't bother to address the complaint. The waiter was asked to incessantly request for our phone number and email address despite our plea to hurry things up. While we waited for our bill to arrive, two impatient food delivery app drivers stood waiting for what appeared to be over 40 minutes. Constant clattering and yelling coming from there kitchen. Food was average. Don't fall for the high ratings of this restaurant. It's a trap.

Packing was ok the slider buns were perfect fresh and soft I din liked the chicken patty it was salty overall satisfied 3:5

Not sure how we missed out on this place earlier. Got to be the best of it's kind in Dubai by far. We had the Moroccan fish grill for starters followed by grilled pepper chicken & harissa lamb shanks. Each of the items were outrageously well marinated and tasted superb. We are going to be back again, very soon. Cannot wait to try the other items on the menu! Hidden gem, highly recommended.

This is a very cozy little restaurant in Oud Metha with an extensive menu. The food was delicious and meal portions size was decent too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant not only because of the food but the personalized touch its owner, Anu, adds by interacting with the customers. Her colleague was also quite friendly and helpful with the menu.

We went there for lunch today. It was our first visit and we loved everything that we had ordered. Their menu tries to cover all different types of cuisines. So basically there is something for everyone. We will definitely be going there again.

Sometimes you have a situation where you kinda get spellbound. That's what happened when I went to Back To Grills.<br/><br/>I decided to venture into this cosy restaurant as it's in my neighbourhood. The place has warm casual dining vibes and I was ready to be served some 'casual style food'.<br/><br/>First up, you get served their spicy tangy and oh-so-crispy chinese Bhel, which is actually complimentary. Now, dont we all love freebies? 😋<br/><br/>Then the minute my starter was served I understood this was no casual dining experience!! I was floored by the presentation and I really have no words to express the taste. The prawns starter had the most delicious accompanying sauce, an exotic mix of coconut and tamarind. The mains were Spit Roast chicken and Harrissa Lamb shanks, not only do both taste awesome, I was amazed by the portion size too! Also loved the Caribbean rice that was served along with the Lamb Shanks and my drink, Pattaya Breeze was just a perfectly paired with my dinner.<br/><br/>When passion meets perfection, it results in an outstanding place like Back to Grills. A nice place tucked in the street of Our Metha serving not only grills but a lot more. We were here one afternoon and enjoyed our meal. With cut wood placed in the restaurant the place surely has quirky interiors.<br/> <br/>This multi-cuisine restaurant that serves all types of grills has good seating both indoor and outside. <br/><br/>Perfect for the weather, we started our meal with a Cream of Butternut Squash soup. It was perfectly warm and creamy. The chef recommended the spit-roast chicken - a well grilled and spicy chicken served with chunky fries and rumali roti. I would sure recommend this one if you enjoy spice. <br/><br/>We also called for chicken sliders, Urban Paneer Tikka and a portion of Thai Green Curry Chicken. <br/>The chicken patti in the slider was freshly made and had great flavor. The Urban Paneer Tikka was pretty good too, it was served with a portion of rice and rumali roti, This one was a bit more spicy than I could take but the flavors were great. <br/><br/>I am a huge fan of Thai green curry and when its on the menu its got to be on the table. So I just had to call for this one. Surely not the best Iv had in town but this one was pretty good, I only wish it was a little lighter in consistency. <br/><br/>We were extremely full and had no room for dessert but Im surely going back here to try more from there elaborate menu.

Best place to dine out with great combinations of grills and spicy rice. Great combination of mock tail makes a refreshing start.

Back to Grills opened just 6 months ago and I had already heard so much about it. We got a chance to try out the food yesterday and had a delicious meal here.  This place had a lovely relaxing vibe to it with some nice tracks from the 90s playing in the background. We sat indoors but they also have a cute little outdoor seating area. The staff was polite and the service was pretty quick.  I prefer local produce and I was very happy to learn that Back to Grills follow a sustainable approach for sourcing their food. Apparently everything is from local farms and their meat (except obviously the Salmon) comes from Ajman. It was good to know that the meat was fresh and wasn’t frozen. We thought this really came through in the quality of the food, which was excellent.

Each dish is served with so much passion and precision that it could pass for a work of art! We started with a spicy chilly guava mocktail ( Guava Mary) that screams vacation! (well, I was on one so🤭..) All it lacked was a little umbrella and a pool to lounge by! Then my sea food lover husband and I literally licked the crumbs off a plate of grilled shrimp (B2G fiery prawns) that was served with a tantalizingly fresh salad<br/>(I salivate as I type)<br/>I have no words to describe the freshness of the Asian grilled beef salad which left me with newfound respect for mint! The Asian dressing perfectly complimented the exquisitely grilled meat with herbs that blended into what seemed like a perfect marriage of flavors!<br/>For the main course, I ravaged through a portion of Thai green curry served with a side of fragrant jasmine rice that tugged at my little sea food lover heartstrings, while hubs worked his way through this massive lamb chop that sizzled and crackled oh so deliciously! Just the right amounts of char from the grill with slight swipes of marinated spice- melt in the mouth texture.<br/>.<br/>Next up we ordered for Harissa Lamb Shanks. Located in the bylanes of Oud Mehta around the Lamcy Plaza area is this restaurant serving a great array of food, along with some superb drinks.<br/>We tried 3 of the drinks, and HIGHLY recommend them all - Pattaya Breeze, Banana Berry Smoothie and Mango Passion Fruit Smoothie.<br/>We tried several food items as well. And whilst we waited, they served us complimentary Chinese Bhel - so good! What we ordered?<br/><br/>Peri Peri Salsa Fries: Damn good! But careful on filling up yourself on these. Which we did, and had to get some dishes for takeaway.<br/><br/>B2G Fiery Prawns: Good. But wasn't a massive fan of these.<br/><br/>Half Spit Roast Chicken: Now the flavours on these are something to talk about. A Mediterranean-Indian fusion is something I'd describe it. And the rumali roti it came with was great!<br/><br/>Harissa Lamb Shanks: This dish came with a Carribean rice, and that I tell you was the total highlight of this dish and our meal here. Loved it beyond words, and the lamb shank was cooked perfectly and pull apart with a fork. Something I know is going to be a repeat order.<br/><br/>I really wanted to try the dessert, but was completely stuff by this time. But well hey, I'm surely returning.

This place is a new found flavourful delight in Oud metha. The portions are good and the meat is well cooked. Lamb Boti, b2g fiery prawns and tex mex steak are my recommendations. Friendly and polite staff :) thanks for this experience, keep up the good work
