It's been a while I went to this cute cafe.
I tried their bingsoo, karak ice cream, mixed ice cream, crepe and coffee.

The coffee was good and cute with the art.
The bingsoo and crepe were alright.
But the ice creams blew me away. Especially the karak flavored one. I fell in love with it.

Since two years I was searching this. I had this for the first time from Thailand and I badly wanted this. They said it’s a Korean dessert. But we couldn’t get it any of the Korean restaurants.
We ordered: choice of 3 mini balls
Food:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quality:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service:⭐️ (she was rude enough for no reason)
Ambience:⭐️⭐️⭐️

Located in La Mer, This place Crushed Ice with delectable toppings and yoghurt. Its a shaved ice korean dessert. I ordered the Oreo and Berry. Both were good and perfect. Tasted good. Lovely presentation . They also have some coffee and other Bingsoo options and flavors

A nice place to go to on a hot day for a traditional Korean bingsoo. The location is great central in la mer. The portions are large and can easily be shared by three, they also have great flavors and toppings to choose from and good value for money as the portion size is very large.

I was browsing Zomato for a place to have coffee & hang out with friends & i found this place. Its located in Lamer & has outdoor seating , so before the weather turns hard we decided to visit this place. The have unique dessert options including Bingsoo which is ice shavings topped with fruits & sauces.

They serve a few of the best desserts in town.

I tried this place before a few weeks when I had been to Dubai. Initially I was reluctant to try Korean desserts, since I had a bad experience at korean dessert parlour in India. But, after my cousin made me try, I immediately fell in love.

I tried their Mango Bingsoo. I immediately became a fan of that and ordered another one. But, to my bad luck, it got over.

I would recommend this place to everyone visiting La mer, Dubai. You would have a unique experience after trying their desserts.

Hygiene - 4/5
Taste - 4/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
Price - 4/5

Overall experience - 4/5

Me and my husband was in La Mer few days back and got to know about MEALTOP. It’s a dessert parlour that serves BINGSOO - a traditional Korean dessert made of shaved ice, fruit toppings, fruit syrup and ice cream. We tried it for the first time and even though it was something new and different to our tastebuds, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We ordered:

Mango Bingsoo - It was a perfect treat to our eyes as well as palate. Serving was generous and every bite was flavourful and refreshingly delicious with mango cubes giving the right balance. A must try frozen trend.

Milk Tea Softie - it’s surely going to delight you if you are a tea lover.

We also ordered coffee, quasadilla, crossaint which was all palatable.

Definitely coming back to try more flavours! ❤️💫

Horrible coffe . Staff with horrible behavior

.. worst customer service . When we told them the coffee that they have made are bad the behavior of the server olive was so bad . Bad experiences can happen but the staff behavior was the worst . They simply just said that drink what we have given you . That is the coffe we know how to make . If you do not want to drink it else throw it . We have already taken the money so we do not care .

My friends and I decided to visit them one weekend, as we wanted to try something unique. They've both indoor and outdoor seating and offer some delicious Korean desserts. Amongst everything, we decided to try the bingsoo. Bingsoo is basically shaved ice topped with different toppings.
We decided to try the lotus Bingsoo as it's one of their bestsellers.
Pro-tip: Take your time when having it to ensure you get all the lotus flavor as well.
Jun Amano
What I loved the most is that shaved ice itself is made from condensed milk and not just an ice. Thus the bingsoo is amazingly delicious and sweet. The set of 3 different flavors in one plate is good deal!

Taste - 5/5

Location - 5/5

Price - 4/5

Staff - 4/5

Refreshing bingsoo on hot summer nights.

We came here just to try their dessert, we ordered mini bingsoo as we are still quite full from dinner. MANGO BINGSOO is awesome, sweet and milky, just perfect for me. We also tried STRAWBERRY BINGSOO and PASSIONATE MANGO BIGSOO. Both were great if you like sour tasting bingsoo.

The server recommended their pancake as well. For just AED 25 he let us tried all their flavors.

We will definitely try regular-size bingsoo soon as mini is not enough for me. 😂

Since I have a friend who loves korea and korean food so much that we decided to go and find a bingsoo place. Luckily we found through research MEALTOP.

They have different flavors of bingsoo to choose from. We chose the FRUITS bingsoo, MANGO bingsoo and LOTUS swirl bingsoo.

All the bingsoo taste great! I know we'll come back for more. Kudos to kuya kabayan who assisted us. He is so kind and attentive to our needs.

P. S. DO YOU LOVE MILK TEA? they have milk tea icecream as well.

Their place is also so chill and cute. I'm sure your stay will be comfy and great ❤️

Having a bowl of Bingsoo from Mealtop would be one of my top recommendations whenever you are at La Mer. Theres nothing more refreshing than having a cold treat while enjoying the sights and sounds at the beach.

Mealtop offers about 10 refreshing flavours of bingsoo. They also offer a set menu where can choose 3 flavours - we tried the Lotus Swirl (because I am a Lotus Biscoff fan), the Green Tea (matcha, of course!) and the Passionate Mango (as recommended to us). I didn't know what to expect but they were all awesome treats! Top recommendation: the Passionate Mango - I'd say that's the refreshing taste of summer!

Aside from the location and the amazing treats that they are offering, their staff are as awesome! They were friendly, fast and they gave great suggestions. Mealtop should be on your "To Visit" list!

Will definitely come back to to try other flavours.
I found Mealtop after doing a Google search for patbingsu / bingsoo in Dubai. So pleased to have found somewhere to satisfy my craving for this Korean dessert.
The bingsoo we had were AED35 each but 2 for 1 on The Entertainer app. My green tea and red bean bingsoo was delicious!
JT
A much need ice cream break during summer at La Mer! This Korean ice cream joint has a welcoming ambience, pleasant staff and an interesting menu!

Being Eid, the Entertainer vouchers were not accepted but the staff recommended us to try 3 flavors in one option called the Mini Bingsoo prices at AED 39!

Tried the Berry Buster Bingsoo (awesome), Passionate Mango Bingsoo (awesomer!!) and Choco Nutty Bingsoo (not so much 😕) - textures were soft and it literally melts in your mouth, fruit flavors were excellent choices to try and the serving size was generous enough to share between 5 people!

Worth it!

Mari Mercado
Such a refreshingly good bingsoo. The ice was so smooth and I love all the flavors. They even let us taste the other flavors and they are all great. Crew was friendly and accommodating.

good as always,

If you're craving for Korean desserts, Mealtop is the good place to go. They serving different varieties of Bingsoo that satisfy your korean dessert tastebuds. Lotus Swirl Bingsoo is my favorite together with Passionate Mango Bingsoo and GreenTea Bingsoo. I also tried their Caramel Macchiato, it was just in right blend. Will definitely go back to try their other bingsoo.

We visited Meal Top in La Mer for a very popular Korean dessert that’s perfect to keep us cool during the Dubai heat - it’s called Bingsoo. Bingsoo is basically a mixture of shaved ice, creamy milk, and toppings such as fruits and biscuits.

Meal Top has been catering Korea for a very long time and after trying out their lovely desserts, it has obviously explained why it’s been around for years and years.

They have different flavours of Bingsoo and we tried their Minis which came in 3 flavours of your choice. We had the Dates which is limited edition for the Holy Month of Ramadan, Green Tea with Red Beans and Rice Cake, and Passionate Mango. My favourite amongst the 3 was the Passionate Mango because it was so so refreshing. It was a mixture of sweet and sour and creaminess. The Dates Bingsoo was also good especially it’s Ramadan, it’s nice to know that they have come up with something to relate to the celebration. The Green Tea was also good, I’m a green tea lover so I really liked it because I know that they used real green tea and did not just depend on any sweetener.

We also tried out their Mixed Softie which comes in 2 flavours - Milk and Milk Tea. Wow! This is one of the best ice creams I have ever tried. The Milk Tea was so flavourful you can really taste its true flavours.

We enjoyed their 3 layer Pancakes drizzled with chocolate sauce with strawberries and bananas on the side plus 3 berries on top.

For our milkshake, we had Red Beans and I really liked it. There were real bits of red beans in every sip.

Meal Top is such a nice place to visit and enjoy some cold desserts while strolling around La Mer.

The place is very cozy with customer’s bingsoo artworks on the walls. The staff were all nice and accommodating the whole time we were there.

I would definitely come to try out other flavours especially in the coming summer.
DUBAIDINER
Being a dessert lover i wanted to try this concept out.
Mealtop serves Korean desserts which are basically crushed ice, sweetened milk and topping.

Tried the Berry buster Bingsoo and i was really impressed. A real cooling and refreshing dessert and every bite was flavourful with the berries giving the right balance.
Meg
I’ve been making Mealtop my dessert target- no matter if I’m in The Dubai Mall or City Walk- I save my dessert space for this one! You can imagine how good it is if I make it a point to drive to La Mer and walk all the way to this shop tucked away opposite Alice pizza in North La Mer. The Red Bean Bingsoo is amazing- either with milky or Matcha as Matcha has the milky syrup, too. Just tell the one making it not to add too much syrup as then, the ice melts too fast and then, the Bingsoo is a flop :( My family and I really enjoy their red beans and the Mochi rice cake on top/ wish they had a separate dish for that! We also tried their Karak flavored soft serve 🍦- it’s delicious! Look out for tiny Bank promos on cards here. The waiter, waitress and the Manager here are very sweet and friendly. They really take care of you. Good seating outside and it has a nice play area near it for kids.

Our first experience with the Korean Bingsoo. To be honest, it is not something that we would prefer as it is just crushed ice with sweetened milk and some fruit toppings. The flavours die out very soon as you dig halfway down the bowl and all that remains is pure ice shavings. Bit on the expensive side too. It did not appeal to us overall.
Whofeedsme_uae
Ate the most legit Bingsoo in #mydubai @mealtopuae . A popular Korean shaved ice dessert topped with various autgentic flavours, we ordered the Choco Nutty Bingsu (Dhs 34) topped with iced milk, chocolate and nuts. The texture was light, fluffy melt in the mouth shaved snowy ice. It might be a little hard to tell from this photo but the portion was huge and we bet it could easily be shared by 3 people.

We also tried the Snow latte which was sooo delicious and we couldnt get enough of it.

The milk tea and milk mixed softie was however too sweet and the flavours that we dint personally like, however it is served in the most crispiest and tastiest cone that we have ever had. The cone tastes like the delicious butter cookies and is soo lovely.
.
So let's make it snow this winter @lamerdubai by indulging in this pure refreshing delight❤ and Tag a friend who needs to try this!

On the way home after visiting LAMer, decided on the desserts and wanted something different ...Mealtop was our choise .
Yes it's different tea flavour ice cream....
Try it out

Very good Korean ice creams. The green tea bingsoo is quite good.
Good option if you want to try new things, nevertheless do not expect traditional stuff

Mealtop.. known for its very famous Bingsoo and it definitely lived up to the expectations! Tried their chocolate Bingsoo, a korean dessert, for the first time and it definitely wasn’t the last. We also loved their chocolate milkshake. Mark, our lovely host, made us try the karak chai ice cream and it was yum. Great way to end your meal.

Being one of my top dessert choice I decided to head down to La mer for the first time just to try their Bingsoo and Im glad I did.

Looking on the menu I initially thought the serving was small so I was suprise when my order came and saw it was somehow bigger than what I expected.

I order two of their bingsoo, the matcha and mango. The ice has trully a snow flake like texture soft yet it blends really well with whatever topping you choose. The matcha flavor has that distinct flavor of the match green tea but not strong enough to overpower the rice cake and the red bean topping. The mango flavor has a perfect balance of sweet and sour taste of mango.

The staff are very courteous and helpful especially when your not too familar of what kind of dessert bingsoo is.

If there is one thing I would like to see them improve it would probably be their menu, adding a few more food options would be great.

Overall its a must try refresing dessert when your around La mer.
Thank you mealtop for bring
Ing korea here in dubai. We went there to try the famous bingsoo. My friend recommended the restaurant so i gave it a try. True indeed, their bingsoo is do die for and definitely wil crave for it timw to time. We tried Berry Buster bingsoo, if you love sweet and sour combination this dessert is for you. Another bingsoo we tried is the green tea bimgsoo. By far the most tasty dessert ive tried. The sweet red beans and the ricee cake on top is to die for. I swear. Its a must try it. Or better yet as the team what the best seller or their recommendation, thumbs up to aldrin for recommending the green tea bingsoo and for a great service.

Koreas famous dessert parlor comes to La Mer Dubai and definitely is a different dessert binging kinda experience !
We tried bingsoo - A traditional and famous Koreans favorite and famous dessert that is a blend of milk , crushed ice , coconut and flavor of your choice !
We also tried the milk tea softie which we found to be pretty average !
The honey sugar bread was yum tho !
Courteney Galendez
We ordered the mango and yogurt bingsoo. The mango one was super tasty. We were probably not used to the taste of the yogurt so we did not enjoy it as much as the mango bingsoo which is definitely a must try. I think I could eat as many servings of that if given the chance. Location not too crowded. Staff - friendly and good at giving suggestions.

Some thing cold and sweat, under the bright Sun of La Mer beach. Softie milk Ice cream is available with Waffles also hot beverages.

Milk Softie was delicious
It’s almost but having this makes you want to ask for more. A must try is the mango bingsoo paired with americano. Staffs are so friendly and will help you should you be confused with variety of flavors. Will sure be back.

La Mer - one of the most chill places during weekday evenings as there are barely any people around. I visited on Tuesday evening after work. Since I heard a lot about Mealtop from friends and also through Zomato, I paid a visit.

Get ready to be all chilled as there are plenty and plenty of really cold stuff right here. We started off with Snow Latte (Coffee). Really chilled but really good latte.

We then went on to have a korean dessert - Bingsoo. So from the many choices, I ended up with Fruits Bingsoo. It is a ball of shaved ice topped with syrup and fruits. It can be easily compared with Ice Gola (Indian popsicle).

Karak softie is something i have been dying to try so mixed Karak and Milk Tea togther as a softie and although I did not like it at the beginning (probably the mix of other desserts), I actually enjoyed it. Have the karak softie, it is worth it.

Parfait is one that the server suggested. Topped with cream and corn flakes, it is a mix of ice cream.

Overall, a great experience.

I had visited Mealtop along with a friend of mine one fine evening to try all the korean goodness. the parlour is located in La Mer right in the beginning when you enter from dubai towards jumeriah. The parking isn't an issue as La Mer has loads of basment parking. Mealtop is the 1st Korean dessert parlour in Dubai serving some of the best Bingsoo. Bingsoo in simple words is ice shavings served with delicious toppings and flavours.

Let's talk about the food, shall we?
We ordered quite a few items, starting with one of their best sellers we went for the Milk Bingsoo and Strawberry Bingsoo. I personally loved the strawberry bingsoo because of the strawberry flavouring, the milk tasted a little bland for my taste buds. The bingsoo was garnished with sweet beans, rice cakes and fresh fruits on the top. I loved the sweet beans flavour, at first tastes a little weird as we usually eat in the salty form. But gradually the taste started getting on me and I enjoyed every bite of the dish. Strawberry Bingsoo is a Must Try!
Softie - One of the bestest softies had until date! Not even exaggerating!! The softie dint have the normal vanilla flavour, it was a proper milk softie and was gone in seconds. Also, looked so prettyy! A Must try!
Parfait - No No No, disliked the dish really, like a lot. The ice creams used tasted very low quality ones.

Ice cream crepe - Normal Crepe served with ice cream inside the crepe and topped with fruits, tasted alright, nothing great.

Honey Bread - At first I thought it must be a normal french toast, but when the dish was served and as we had the 1st bite, we were mesmerized with the flavours this dish had. It's got no eggs, its only HONEY, yess!! so so good and the bread they use is a different kind of a loaf, an absolute Must try!
Snow Latte - I'm not a coffee person but this coffee tasted alright even though I found it too strong :P
Overall - Friendly staff and quick service. Serves the best korean desserts in dubai, got lovely views outside and got outside seating too which is the best for the winters. I'm surely coming back.

Friends and hubby Thursday night out we head to La Mer after dinner to experience Mealtop. Ambiance was good, friendly and welcoming staff. Bingsoo flavors are quiet limited, I wish they can offer a ‘make your own’ flavor. Mango bingsoo was the favorite! Serving size is okay, however, pricey. We might go back ☺️
Foodstorydxb
Bingsoo. What a great concept for dessert lovers. Mealtop located at the north of La mer serves yummy bingsoos and ice creams. The shop is a cut cut shop with limited seats but they look forward more into take aways.

A bingsoo is basically flavored ice served with your choice of toppings. We tried two of their signature bingsoos. The Yoghurt Bingsoo and Fruit Bingsoo. The Yoghurt flavor ice comes with bananas and strawberries as toppings. Costing around 34/- each, the quantity is very fair. The Fruit bingsoo is a mixture of fruits served on top of a bingsoo flavored with strawberry syrup. It was really delicious and the ice did taste very chill. Mealtop also serves variety of juices and crepes as well. One of their another unique dish is the softie served in various flavors.

Well set cafe, great ambience at La mer and friendly staffs. No more reasons needed to be here once again.

Its the first time ive tried korean dessert and I loved it! We tried the mango bingsoo and the coffee bingsoo, both were delicious.

The service was great, quick, polite and friendly.

Our cure to beat the heat this summer, the Milk Tea Softie @mealtopuae 🍦

Ever felt like you really need a cup of tea but decided not to because it was too hot? We have! 👀

This Softie will help you beat the heat this summer and give you that dose of Karak you're craving. ❤️ This delight for AED 19 is nothing like anything you've had before (we're pretty sure). 😋

Besides the softie being out of this world, the cone in it self is a piece of art. The cone is housemade and compliments the flavour of the tea a 100% 👌

We actually ended up asking for another one, coz just wasn't enough. 😍
Rohanita Rohin
We had the milk bingsoo and the mango one. Both are yummy! Truly blissful after a walk along La Mer. Location may be a tad difficult to find as it’s on one end of the stretch but it was worth it.

Green tea and mango bingsoo was amazing! Staff were accommodating and polite. Everything was just great. Would definitely come back ♥️ just wish you have a branch in Sharjah 😂

Spent my birthday here and got a free bingsoo ♥️ Great service and mango bingsoo is to die for 👌🏼 Thank you mealtop! Will definitely come back!

We visited MealTop when the Humidity was at its peak & it was the perfect choice to enjoy some ICE shaved dessert..
.
.
MEALTOP a small Cafe located in the beautiful Lamer, is a Korean dessert parlour that serves the special Signature Korean dessert "BINGSOO"...Out of the variety of Bingsoo flavours ,we tried the "Mango Bingsoo" which i could relate with much, while also enjoying some Mango Goodness...
.
.
The "Mango Bingsoo" was ice shaved & served topped up with delicious Mango pieces, Mango IceCream & generous amount of Mango Puree...It was heavenly good & a bowl is just good enough for 2 to indulge in...The ice used in the dessert is just like snow & at no point lets the dessert lose its taste so this was one thing i absolutely enjoyed...
.
.
Next we tried the "MILK TEA SOFTIE" which is a nice combination of Milk Tea & Milk...Perfect blend of bitter & sweet flavours...Rare flavour so If you are a Tea Lover then this treat is sure to delight you...
.
.
Lastly some Coffee goodness & it was just perfect cup of warmth & goodness...Overall i really enjoyed my time at MEALTOP & would highly recommend it!!!

Follow me on instagram @syedashafaq.aftab
Shaved ice, condensed milk, sweet beans, chewy rice dough? It’s like a milk cake and some fūl got frozen and had a sugary makeover. While this kind of shaved ice dessert is unusual in the Middle East (and pretty much everywhere else in the world), it’s super-popular all throughout Asia. (In Japan it’s kakigōri, in Taiwan it’s bàobīng.) And what more refreshing dessert can you think of to beat the Dubai summer heat?
Sheik Shehriyar
We visited this beautiful place in lamer, jumairah to try out some cold desserts to beat the summer heat.

It was a nice and different experience all together here as the dishes they serve is pretty different than the usual ice creams that i am used to. I tried the coffee bingsoo, milk tea and mixed softie, icecream crepe, and cappuccino.

I really liked the bingsoo as it was something new and different for me and the softie was also with a very different flavour that you dont get everywhere. Loved the taste and the prices are pretty reasonable too for the location.

Talking about the crepe, it wasnt that great as it had a lot of chocolate sauce added to it which basically killed the flavour of the actual crepe and the ice cream.

Overall it was a great experience here. The best thing i loved was the dishes and the place was really photogeneic 😁😜
Maryam BJ
Tried this place which is from Korea, the main competent for dessert is shaved ice. Mango ‘bingsu’ was really good highly recommend! Mangoes tasted fresh which I appreciated.
The other one was milk bingsu it usually comes with beans but we ordered ours without because our palates aren’t familiar with beans + sweet ice, anyways that wasn’t so great.
Maria Aijerry Punzalan
its the first time I ordered through Zomato. and i always thought how could they deliver it because its a dessert and it has ice.

im surprised and amazed! They delivered it the right way. the dessert is the same as you order it up front the counter! I would definitely order again, knowing how great they delivered it.

@MealtopUAE The one and only best Korean Bingsoo 🍧 in the Middle East ☝️😋 also Most favorite desserts in Korea, the Asian food can't be done ✔ without this!

Being K-drama addicts who have made numerous plans to visit South Korea, when we heard that a South Korean cafe has opened in Dubai we were on cloud 9 and could not resist ourselves from trying it this weekend. Mealtop is a South Korean café that opened their doors for the very first time in 1985. Since then they’ve kept expanding and now finally they’re here in Dubai! They offer desserts using ingredients imported from South Korea and is also home to Korea’s #1 dessert “Bingsoo”.

How about Karak in this form to beat the heat. Hell yeah! We tried this amazing Mixed Softie and Milk Tea Softie, it's a combination of Karak and Milk flavored Ice Cream. We also ordered the Honey Bread and Waffle which was amazing. For tried traditional fresh Mango Bingsoo and you don't want to miss it. For drinks we ordered the Snow Latte Coffee, Hot Caramel Macchiato, Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte. It was a beautiful evening snacking at Mealtop.

Bingsoo, a very famous Korean dessert may not be for everyone. bingsoo is basically shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings. The most unique topping is beans and rice cake with fruits.

I tried a small amount of the toppings and this is what I would recommend you all to do as well before ordering. It was definitely new to my taste buds!

the process of beans take upto thirty days to prepare its unique sweet flavor and it comes from Korea!

I opted for Mango Bingsoo, it had mango chunks and mango Icecream! Very delicious and refreshing. So for the people who are not a fan of rice cake and beans in their Bingsoo go ahead with the mango one. You will not be disappointed!

I then ordered Milk softie without any topping. Yet again loved the creamy consistency and the strong milky taste. (Additional topping 5dhs nuttela, strawberry and toasted coconut)

I even tried Waffle with vanilla Icecream, hands down one of the best waffles in town! Fluffy, moist and delicious yet again! Ended it all with a snow latte coffee! #must try

Overall, i had a lovely time here, it’s a cute place that will help you beat the heat! Great staff and service. As for the prices with the portion you get I think it’s reasonably priced.

Was invited for a tasting session at this famous south korean cafe on weekend. Located at one of the most talked about places, Lamer had to visit them. The interiors are simple and elegant. Gives you the perfect feel of being in korea. Meal top is a famous brand in south korea which has almost more than 100 branches there and in dubai its their 1st branch. The concept is quiet simple and unique. Presenting bingsoo, popular Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red beans. Varieties with ingredients other than red beans are called bingsu. Its a complete different and unique experience altogether.

The staff were good, explained us the details about each dish and how it is made and which one is their best seller. Big shout to Mr Raj for making sure that we have a great time.

Moving onto the bingsoo now. We tried 2 flavours of bingsoo. Strawberry Bingsoo:- shaved icecream which has a base of milk in all the flavours topped with some strawberry syrup, strawberries, kiwis, bananas, sweetmelon and beans. Now beans is something i cannot imagine in icecream. But WOW is the only word i could say.
Mango Bingsoo:- A new flavour introduced for mango lovers. Its an absolute delight for mango lovers. Topped with a scoop of vanilla icecream, mango pieces and syrup. Though i would have liked it without the syrup.

Note:- 1 bingsoo can be shared by 3-4 persons easily. We could hardly finish half of each.

They had the option of softie. We tried the mix softie. Now the mix softie was with tea flavour. The softie was yum. And it wont disappoint you at all for sure. Its recommended.

We also tried their ice latte coffee. Which was also available as green tea. Ice latte was amazing and enjoyed every sip of it. Something unique and amazing. I am sirely visiting them for a coffee in future for sure.

Overall i really enjoyed their desserts be it bingsoo, softie or ice lattee.. its a really calm place and you would enjoy your desserts for sure. Bingsoo is something you should try and experience why people in korea are made at it. I am surely visiting them again soon. ITS A THUMBS UP👍👍👍👍

Picked fruit bingsoo which was a hype but honestly i felt it was just a normal iced dessert that did not amaze my palate though. Maybe cause my tastebuds weren’t good enough to enjoy bingsoo

Mealtop serves Korean desserts .. their speciality being the bingsoo which is a shaved ice dessert topped with fruits and syrup .
We tried the mango bingsoo & fruit bingsoo .
I would highly recommend the mango bingsoo .. we weren’t very impressed with the fruit bingsoo .
We also tried the mix Milk tea Softie which is normal & milk tea flavors together in a Softie . It’s got an unusual flavor of tea - I’m not sure if this is going to please everyone’s taste bud . You could surely try it out once .

I may go back for the mango bingsoo .. slightly over rated .

I don't think there is anything in the world that is not in Dubai. La Mer now serves the Bingsoo - a shaved ice dessert popular in Korea. If you thought ice cream or iced desserts are a saviour this summer then the Bingsoo will pleasantly surprise you. The cafe also serves some very unique soft serve ice creams and other desserts for the non-ice lovers.

There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors with the outdoor being deserted during summer. The interiors of the place are very pretty. We were served by Raj who was very helpful and made some good suggestions.

We called for a Honey Bread to start with. There were two slices of freshly baked bread soaked in honey and served with fresh cream and fresh fruits. The cream was absolutely light and tasted awesome with the honey bread.

We then had the Yogurt Bingsoo and a Mango Bingsoo. The ice used in the desserts is snowed ice and melts in the mouth. With different flavours served with the snowed ice, there is one for everyone. We just loved the mango bingsoo which had loads of fresh mango pieces and mango syrup topped with a scoop of mango ice cream. In my opinion the bingsoo is a dessert with no guilt.

We then tried the mixed softie, a soft serve ice cream in flavours of milk and milk tea. The Korean version of milk tea coincidentally tastes like our all time favourite "the Chai Karak"and is delicious.

Their top attraction is their Bingsoo and it’s a very unique dessert to try. We got the MANGO bingsoo and the YOGURT bingsoo and between the two, I would have to say the mango one is a 1000 times better. A bingsoo is just crushed ice with the ice cream, fruit and syrup on top but the ice is so soft it truly feels like snow and is quite unique. I liked it a lot and it’s the perfect way to beat the heat in dubai. It doesn’t taste flavorless as you would expect crushed ice too - in fact it’s got just the right amount of sweetness. Also, a huge shoutout to Merry and Adrian who gave us a MILK TEA SOFT SERVE on the house to try! If you’re a fan of tea, you’ll definitely love this because they aren’t lying about the sharp and prominent taste of tea. It was a different but pleasant experience and I am amazed at the hospitality and service. Well done Mealtop and thank you for bringing a tad bit of Korea into Dubai!

Me and my friends went here for a dose korean sweetness and boy did they deliver. We tried their mango and red bean bingsu. Both are served in massive bowls good enough to share with your friends. The mango bingsu was decadent, its sweet creamy and everything you imagine a bingsu would be. The red bean bingsu was the favorite of the group ( except me, not a fan of beans in general haha). We also ordered the snow latte and it is good, using the shaved milk is a clever thing, good job. The staff are also great, accomodating provides insight on whats good to order, then evem let us try.the matcha bingsu for free which is also good. The prices are abit above average, we use an entertainer voucher which made our bill less. Doing this review on my phone, will share some photos from my camera later.

Loved this Korean concept dessert offering, i have tried their Mango bingsoo (it's new) and Fruit bingsoo and both are heavenly delicious. Their desserts are like snow which melts in mouth in every bite and i prefer an dessert which is not gummy. A perfect discovery for me.. see you next time for coffee!

So happy when we found a korean bingsoo cafe in La mer 😍
We reccommend the yogurt bingsoo and the original one which is the milk bingsoo. Their matcha bingsoo is their best seller it taste good although I’m just not a fan of matcha.

I went there only to try their famous milk tea soft serve, as i knew the portion was huge I asked to taste the ice cream before purchasing and they were kind enough to give me a taster sample, ok now you might think I'm kidding but the milk tea ice cream tasted like pefume!!! seriously 😂 you do get the milk tea flavour at first but then you get a perfume/hand lotion flavour that covers your tongue, maybe I was just unlucky, I'll try it again and I hope it just tastes like milk tea. I finally decided to go for the plain milk flavour which was smooth and delicious, the portion is enough for 2.

While roaming around at La Mer, we come across Mealtop, which is Korean desert and cafe. They specialize in Bingsoo which is something similar to our desi “Burf Gola” made of crushed ice.

We ordered Fruit Bingsoo which was average and nothing special the only uniqueness was the ice was crushed so thin that it’s feel like snow.

Food: 1/5

Completely new and an unique exposure towards Korean desserts...

Ordered strawberry and yoghurt Bingsoo which is a shaved ice with milk and rice cake topping...The rice cake is a delicious toffee which goes well with the dessert. This is one of the best stuffs to enjoy as we welcome the scorching heat in a couple of weeks time as it will quench your thirst and keep you hydrated for sure..

Apart from this we tried the chocolate scoop with nutella syrup and mixed softie is which is a combination of milk softie and milk tea softie.. ah yes that's milk tea which is something u never thought off...

Overall a good experience, amazing staff and a beautiful ambience in one of the posh locality..Highly recommended...it would certainly amaze u...

As a k-drama addict who has been drooling at bing soo for years, I was overjoyed and wanted to try mealtop ever since I got to know that they had opened at La mer! I wanted to try the classic milk bing soo and have to say that I absolutely loved it! I am not much of an ice cream fan but, I can definitely make an exception for this melt-in-your snowflakes dessert! The red bean topping and the chewy rice cakes are an excellent addition and definitely something exquisite! The staff was really kind and offered addition rice cakes when we wanted more of it! I devoured every bit of my bing soo and needless to say, I am going to be back for more ❤️

Have you ever tried the Korean dessert Bingsoo? If your answer was no, well, I have a good news for you. You won’t have to go all the way to South Korea to try this, because Mealtop has opened up shop at the newest foodie spot in Dubai – La Mer. Before Mealtop, I had never known what Bingsoo is, leave alone trying it. So my excitement to try this ‘meal’ was right at the ‘top’.

Tried their mix softie. To be honest me and my friend didnt find the taste of milk or tea. Only positive thing was less sugar. As majority icecreams use so much sugar. May be it was their bad day. So dont trust majority of bloggers review

A unique dessert concept coming in from Korea which uses shaved ice as a base, milk tea flavours and red beans (bingsoo) made into a sweet concoction.

We ordered:
Mixed Softie which is a mix of milk and tea flavors. You must try this in the cone because it is delicious. They are made in house and have a soft biscuity texture. However take a plate or cup and eat it quick, or the cone may fall apart.
Snow Latte Coffee, the fine snow is very interesting and the coffee is surprisingly not lost as the ice melts. We enjoyed it.
Waffles: the ice cream paired really well with it and the fresh fruit balances the sweetness, but the overall waffles was nothing great, we would skip this and order the Bingsoo desserts instead.

The most traditional dish here is the Bingsoo. We tried the Milk (original) and Strawberry flavours. Our favorite was the former but the strawberry was delicious as well. The shaved ice along with the sweet milk topped with the chunky red bean paste and pieces of tteok (Korean rice cake) is quite an interesting combination overall. Definitely unique and with different levels of sweetness. While you might feel the price is high, the portions are huge and dishes delicious. So we felt it was worth it.

Mealtop is in La Mer with a nice open space with simple decor with neutral tones and a large red Korean maple tree near the front entrance that really grabs your attention and makes for an awesome background for Insta pics. We loved the whole feel. Great for winter and early summer. The service is also very good. The staff are friendly and attentive.

How to get there:
Mealtop is located in the North side of La Mer. Unfortunately it’s not very metro or bus friendly so it’s best to drive or get dropped off. But you have the underground parking as an option which is great.

What can I say? An Indian expat in Dubai who tried Korean flavours. The main offering is Bingsoo, it is a combination of shaved ice, sweet milk and a fruit flavour. Frankly, the dessert is good , I just feel like it is not meant for my taste palette. On the contrary, I totally adored milk tea sofie. I am a tea addict and i love everything tea. The softie is good in quantity and gives you a really good taste of frozen karak tea. I totally loved it. Will be going back for the tea softie :)

Their soft serve is excellent. Very smooth and rich in flavor. Not sweet like the other soft serve.
Very friendly staff in the first Korean desert place in Dubai !!

Been wanting to try a really cool dessert place and "Mealtop" opened up in La Mer just in time. MealTop is the home of delicious milk tea ice cream and bingsu. Patbingsu is a popular Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red beans. Varieties with ingredients other than red beans are called bingsu. Mealtop served some incredible over the top desserts. My first ever experience and I recall it being probably one of the best. The service and hospitality was absolutely brilliant, not a single query unanswered, the team at Mealtop were cheerful, and quite charming. The Menu itself was described to me from the beginning to the very end.. you don’t get that very often. I was told the most popular dessert was Bingsu.

I would most definitely recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth and a major dessert enthusiast like myself. The interior itself is very suave and sophisticated, most definitely a fine dining dessert experience I have had in a while.

This Korean desserts place is located at Lamer with a beautiful and simple interiors with few outdoor seatings. We tried the bingsoo, tea and milk softies. They were quite unique in terms of flavor and looks.

Interesting Korean concept at the latest hotspot of Dubai, La Mer.
Their signature - Bingsoo is shaved ice with milk and the flavoured toppings! The classic Milk Bingsoo is refreshing yet healthy as it's just ice topped with Red beans and syrup.
They also have more than ice shavings.
Their Ice cream crepe and honey cake is delicious! Honey cake is soft paired with cream and fruits. The Ice cream crepe is perfect for ur dessert cravings!
The cones of the softies are made in-house with their secret Korean ingredients. They are crispy and goes well with the softies! 😄
The interiors are beautiful and also plays amazing Hollywood 2007-8 hits! 😄
Also the size of the bingsoo is good enough for two people 😄

Parfait made to perfection! Best dessert to grab and chill on the beach. The cornflakes create the crisp effect and satisfying to your mouth. Worth the price paid for.

Mealtop is a Korean Brand and Bingsoo is its speciality but they also serve Softies, Latte, Parfait and other desserts. All the ingredients are imported from Korea!. This is Milk Bingsoo with slightly sweetened red beans with mochi on top of it. The Iced is shaved, then they put it in the bowl and they pour on it the milk and they add the toppings.
