It’s one of restaurants that’s on the corner of the street. Although many people might know about it, it still felt like a hidden gem. The reason I say gem is because the food left me feeling really content. The meat was so tender and juicy. The fries were seasoned and had a distinct flavour. The condiments hummus, garlic sauce and tahini sauce were creamy and rich. The salad was fresh as was the rest of the food. The falafel were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside & tasted very authentic to its origin. Something I didn’t pay close attention to but caught me by surprise were the juices. It’s been a while since I have had such a pleasant experience with freshly squeezed juice. Their orange juice complimented the meal very well. What tops the entire review is the reasonable price tag attached to the menu. Recommendation : Mixed Grill, Mutabel Arabic food is plentiful with so many different, delicious options to appeal to every palette. So decided to order the below from them. Mixed Grill – For the mains, two of us had the mixed grill platter. This restaurant does grilled meats to perfection. It is must try for anyone. The char was perfect, the meat was tender, and the marinades and seasoning provided deep flavor. But the quantity is definitely an issue here.

I don’t usually write reviews. Tandoori chicken barbecue was not fresh at all , has a smell and was dry, crispy and has fat edges all around. Taste and texture as if it was re-heated or fried , I contacted the restaurant for feedback and they collected the meal and replace it with a new one that has only 5 pieces and a very small package , not a new meal , seriously Shami ?? You counted the pieces in the plate I returned assuming that I ate it and replaced the remaining ? Well that pieces missing from my returned meal were not eatable and I had to throw them in trash !!

The worst restaurant and service I’ve ever seen in Dubai .... once I ordered broasted chicken and the delivery arrived after 45 minutes with a missing item, I called the restaurant and complained but no action has been done from their side, they didn’t even send me what is missing. After a while I decided to order breakfast; also received with one item missing, I also called to complain but no one cared. Just now i ordered “safieh shamieh, fattoush and shawerma but no luck with this restaurant; I received the order with one item missing and the food was very cold although I live in the next tower so I had to put the food again in the oven and I called to complain about this and the missing item but I’m not expecting any action from this bad managment... I will never ever order again.

It was late at night and I was into a fresh juice so this place was recommended by a friend! So it was under maintenance but as I entered to the restaurant I was very shocked by the chaos, mess, and dirt of this place! The staff first of all we're not friendly at all, and this almost makes me down for somehow! Anyways I ordered a pomegranate juice and it took forever for me to get a sip! The Service was very slow, I had to check twice! But to be honest the pomegranate juice was at least fresh and good I enjoyed it!

This restaurant used to be really good. I don't know what happened to the type of meat they are using. The chicken shawarma (if you could call it that) tasted gross and old and there were pieces of small bone. Maybe they're cutting costs by using lower quality meat. Whatever it is, I'm incredibly disappointed considering I used to order from here a lot. Seriously, the chicken you guys use is horrible, check with your management about whatever business decisions you're making to increase your profit at the expense of quality. Not ordering from here again.

In Zomato the sizes are not mentioned, so was thinking it's gonna be a large one. I am totally disappointed with this. I have visited shami gourmet 2 times and trust me both the times the food was mind blowing. The quantity of the food was very satisfying. This restaurant mainly works on home delivery, the main thing about this restaurant is that they serve fresh food. My favourite item was the pizza, the pizza was fresh and very tasty, i would recommend everyone to try the pizza in this restaurant.

Latest Update : Tried Mexican Chicken Shawarma ( quite spicy, but good ), Lamb meat Kibbeh (good) , Akawi Cheese Manakeesh (too salty) , Hummus ( Excellent portion), Lamb Meat and Cheese Manakeesh is just amazing. I also liked the Jumbo Shawarma Meal Combo. Tried their Chicken Shawarma meal and roasted chicken meal. Shawarma was small but tasty. Had Crispy Falafel, Hummus, Labneh with vegetables, Combo Chicken with salad for lunch today. It's good enough for three people. All the dishes are having good portion size. Excellent taste, chicken shawarma meal was best to have, well done as requested, all instructions followed well. French fries were crispy hot and diet Pepsi was chilled. best part was the zomato treats cheese cake it was just splendid, check out for photos posted here

It is a very nice and clean place with great interiors but when it comes to food it is an average quality at par with the several small places around the city but higher on price. With so many night spots around this is the saviors for all the late night nocturnal creatures who are so high by the time hitting here that food quality etc...isn't important anymore...lolz !!!

I just like the falafel & broasted chicken from here otherwise the rest are not so nice not even the shawerma or the platters.. The ice cream is not good

So much potential... I’ve tried this place 3 times and have to say the shawarma and the grilled chicken is a killer meal. However, this time I ordered a manakeesh with cheese and there was enough oil to spare for my next car oil change. It was nasty, 2 liters of oil and not tasty. Took 3 bites and threw the rest in the garbage. Maybe I should just stick to the shawarma and the grilled chicken. The staff is super friendly ! 5 stars to that!
