Nice place i always visit here for shesha but last time i tried chicken curry and Moroccan mint tea everything its good , friendly staff will come soon ;)
Nice 👍 place to chill with shishaa good food 🥘 & friendly service staff 😊☺️ creek view is awesome 😎 will visit again. Server wahed had took a pleasure to serve us.... we wish him to have a same smile and pleasure to serve us again and again.
I went here for Shisha and it was clean and smooth and the best part about this cafe is the view which is very nice. Located near Bank of Baroda this place has variety of food and snacks to offer with traditional tea and has perfect ambience.
So I went there because a friend of mine was really interested to visit this place because he thought the name of this restaurant is very Interesting 😅 and luckily we weren’t disappointed because we had low expectations and this place turned out to be really amazing in the sense of ambience.
One can have the beautiful view of creek while enjoying good sheesha here if one chooses to sit outside.
If you don’t like people walking by your table and watching you all the time I would recommend to have a table inside the restaurant.
The only thing which annoyed me was loud music . Otherwise it was a fun experience.
Tucked away in the heart of meena bazaar just besides the beautiful dubai creek is Blue Barjeel. The view of the beautiful creek plus sheesha is all you could want on a wicked. They serve a wicked cardamom tea which makes Filli run for its money. A very unique experience indeed!
Situated on the Bur Dubai side of the creek. Extensive multi cuisine global menu. Worth it for the ambience and view of passing boats on the creek. A good photo op during the evening and night. Good food.
Awesome food! But the location is .. well the location is excellent .. but since its Meena Bazaar, people just wont stop staring at you eating bite by bite as they pass by!
all the rating i gave is for the location and ambiance, the sheesha flavors available in menu are limited and good one, specially kiwi pan rasana. it was very difficult to call the coal server to replace the coal for sheesha and wait a long time. even the water inside pot seemed unchanged for many sessions. and the bell buttons on tables are of no use. overall still i recommend to go for sheesha and its location.
Great to visit [for al fresco dining] during winters. The outdoor seating is located right next to the Abra Creek and the view is outstanding. However, the crowd is in this area is massive during weekends and if you are turned off by passerby staring at you or at your food, then this place isn't recommended for you. For those seeking some solitary respite and only the food n' view matters, this place is for y'all. Ordered a spicy shawarma platter [served with fries, sauces and Arabic bread] and it was amazing. Washed it down with some Iced tea. Haven't tried their shisha yet though!

I experienced this place maybe more than three years now, it was very poor but so cozy, comfortable especially in October, November.
now it has been renovated but I really liked the old decoration!!
all in all, the entire area here is so charm n the atmosphere is amazing especially as I mentioned in October,, what I enjoy here is a cup of tea with mint leaf and the amazing sea or lake -i think view, this is the real peaceful place when u can forget all toughness life in weekdays ☺
This one is situated right next to the Dubai Creek and makes for a gorgeous setting. The avi-fauna in this place is quite rich with a substantial duck and goose population. The food is excellent and the hookah goes very well at the setting. The Arabian or Turkish coffee are perfect accompaniments with the Hookah of which the grape flavour is the best. Service quality varies from day to day depending on the bearers.

I always make it a point to visit this Restaurant, when am in Dubai, near the Abra in Bur Dubai.
The food is fantastic!
I Love the Lamb Shish Kebab, and Arayes, they are my favorites!
Hmmmm...............Love It!
Well, we just tried shisha and juices, and one word is enough to explain amazing.
They loose points at pace of service like for changing coal we have to ask them to come n do so... Good view, but artificial greenery,
We concluded my first weekend in Dubai with a dinner date by the Dubai Creek. Mark chose this restaurant because he says that the food here is good. He would usually stop by this restaurant for some gastronomic treat before heading to the camp. It is also just a few walks away from the Al Ghubaiba metro station and near the bus station to Abu Dhabi.
There's an air-conditioned part of the restaurant, where the kitchen is also situated, but we chose to have an al fresco dining experience.
A Filipina waiting staff ushered us to our seats and handed us the menu after we were settled. We placed our orders which were served shortly after. For our drinks I had iced tea while Mark had his favorite avocado shake.
Mark and I are both non-smokers but he insisted that we try their shisha out. Along with our drinks and shisha, we were also served with complimentary salad. I thought they're some sort of ingredients for shabu-shabu. Apparently, this is how they start off with their meals here in Dubai. :p
It was my first time to try eating raw spinach. It was actually good. It's sweet and kind of the same with lettuce but with a little nutty taste. The larger leaves were bitter though. The pickled chili was actually sweet and tangy at the first bite but became hotter as I chewed. Good thing we were also served with complimentary paratha, which I grabbed and munched immediately to relieve my burning mouth. :p
We ordered the Mixed Grill Plate. It had the same meat components like the one that we had in Ravi Restaurant, plus some grilled onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, parsley, and chives which added more flavor to the meat.
Mark has been raving about how good shawarmas are here in the UAE, so I opted for the Shawarma Plate. It's a deconstructed shawarma, with the chicken strips sitting on the Greek yogurt and then topped with the crispy shawarma bread, plus tomatoes, lemon, and bell peppers on the side. This shawarma was more than delectable! The chicken had that distinct Indian taste and was mildly spicy. I loved the Greek yogurt as it balanced out the spicy taste. I just didn't like the crispy bread though. I instead ate it with the paratha. I filled the paratha with the chicken strips and yogurt and then rolled it like the usual shawarma. It was so good that I wiped my plate clean!
With good food and nice ambience, it's no wonder why Mark frequents this restaurant. Dining in Blue Barjeel was indeed a great way to cap off our fun weekend. :)
Nice ambience, good food and cheap price. The shawarma is delectable. The chicken had that distinct Indian taste and was mildly spicy. I loved the Greek yogurt as it balanced out the spicy taste.
