We order take away chicken weekly at this local place. One of the best chargrilled spring chicken in town! It's not a big chicken but the flavor is super good, very peppery and chicken skin is crunchy and crispy. Love it
I particularly liked their South Indian food. We ordered uttapam, idli, dosa sambar. It was tasty and reasonably priced. Good service too. Would recommend it for pure vegetarians. They do home delivery too at no etc cost.
Amaaaaaaazibg food. I really like their menu. Simple and tasty for all the guest tastes. Prices are also good as per the location. Only negative point could be the long waiting time for the preparation.
Have been a fan of this place since I was first brought here about 3years ago. A cozy little joint that serves some of the yummiest chicken shawarmas ever! Since my husband and I were both tired, we parceled our shawarmas to eat at home. Although the arabic bread had gotten a little soggy by the time we actually got down to eating it, the filling was great - a generous amount of chicken and veggies with a reasonable amount of toum. The sweet corn chicken soup was just as the name suggests, sweet, but by just the right amount. The chai was great (stovetop brew!!!), and a complete steal for 1aed per cup. The staff were also very warm and friendly, winning them one more brownie point! Thank you Metro Falcon!

Have been ordering from Metro Falcon over a year now. They have a variety of food to order from and they do justice for the price. My favourite is the Chicken Schezwan Friedrice, it's the best I have eaten in Dubai so far. I personally cannot finish 1 portion by myself. It's spicy, hot, loaded with shredded chicken and ofcourse yummy.
The only issue I face with them is that they get super busy during lunch time and take at least an hour for delivery.

This one is very next to Unioin Coop and 2 buildings next to our htl, AlSalam Suites. Came here specially for Shawarma... they have only 2 varieties spicy & less spicy... Unlike India they dont first grill the khaboos and than fill it, instead they make a pocket in it and fill all sauces, saladas, pickles and chkn and after it they keep the whole stuff in between flat grill.... this makes the crust very thin & crispy... Taste was awesome and will be deifnately liked by any shawarma lover!. Was gd deal at 5AED.
THE BEST CHILLY BEEF I HAD! and the Dragon chicken too. awwwwe wish i can have it everyday! delivery takes quite a long time but trust me, its worth the wait!

In winter its good to sit in out door seating, having a lively atmosphere. Indoor is quite packed and it makes you feel claustrophobic.

Good food except for the recent order when I ordered Egg Roast, I was given Egg Masala instead. At least they could have called me to inform that Egg Roast is not available.

Great quick service place, more of a restaurant than a cafeteria now after its renovation. The food is standard, but clean and good portion sizes. The arabic grills are value for money , not authentic but does come close keeping the pricing in mind.
Great place for takeaways as well, the Indo-chinese food is slightly on the spicier side, but again great portion sizes. Does get busy during lunch time, takeaway is suggested during noons. Evenings are a more relaxed affairs and have noticed the arabic grill quality tends to be better , maybe the Chef is different (?) .

One of the best restaurants around trade centre area/satwa which serves the best south Indian dishes and mouth watering chicken charcoal my fav and lamp chops the best I have tasted in Dubai its one of my fav joint with my colleagues for lunch, the service was very good before they renovated and came up with digital ordering which is a complete failure in service level.
Restaurant is pocket friendly with decent ambiance (after renovation). Food is average but valuable for money. Their 5 dirham chicken tikka paratha Roll is great. Have tried a few dishes.. not really disappointed me.. their daal makhni, mix sabzi, gobi masala, bhindi masala and chicken charcoal are really good.. aaloo matar didn't like much. Breakfast is good.. (anda paratha and channa) is good. Usually grab their 1 dirham karak tea which is authentic ( all time fav) on my way to unioncop hyper market.
Staff is very friendly and courteous . They even come to your car to take order.

This small place is definitely a life saver. Quite near to my place, have been there for breakfast a couple of times, their parathas are non greasy and tasty. Although they don't have variety of parathas, just the plain ones but amazing. Some of the main course items have been utter disappointment esp biryani. I have always enjoyed their cocktail shakes. And when I can't decide what to eat I end up eating shawarma here, which being average in taste, great for satiety. Their 1 dirham chai is awesome.
A not so hidden gem!! The Karak tea is only a dirham and is as authentic as it gets! I also tried the chicken tikka paratha for Dhs5 and can't believe the value for money!
The cafeteria is spotless with a great emphasis placed on hygiene which is comforting! Service is friendly and very accommodating for ladies - they will even come to your car to take your order! I'll definitely try them again!
This place is located near Union corporative behind shk zayeed road . A nice cafeteria which looks more like a restaurant , it's renovated very well . The food is delicious and pocket friendly . The dal tadka and paneer masala was awesome. Their shorma is also nice or you can also try the grilled chicken , the place is clean and good .
Had been to this place after renovation and new branding , new menu seems good. We ordered 2 Biryanis and Chicken Kadai. Food was good and quantity was enough for 3 persons.

This restaurant is South Indian managed, so Indian dishes tastes above average. Their charcoal grills are very good and a must try. Chinese dishes are average taste. Delivery time is quiet long. 4.0 rating for excellent charcoal grills.

Metro falcon is your typical cafeteria with the copied menu but now with a twist. They've recently gone through some renovations which are quiet unusual for such cafeterias. They have electric doors, electric faucet, electric soap dispensers and electric towel dispensers. Even the way they take the orders are now through the iPad!! Needless to say the service is still average with slight improvement. You do have to repeat the order a couple of times before they get it, you'll still wait a while before they recognise you're in the restaurant. That's the thing though you kind of get used to it. Now the food! I love their breakfast menu, sunny side up eggs, keema, parrata..etc. i don't usually go there for lunch but once i decided to try their chicken biryani; and my God! It was pretty damn good, the chicken was like plastic of course but the rice with the spices was actually amazing and juicy. If you haven't seen the new renovations i highly suggest you check them out, and make sure you read the slogans they have on the walls inside. I guarantee you will have a good laugh :)
The food is really good. specially the fish item (biyani or curry). Only problem is the delivery timing is late, and sometimes wrong item being delivered or shortage of paratas. Otherwise, the quality of food is suberb
I come regularly here for Keema Paratha sandwich.. One of best places for Keema.. I sometimes sit and have Keema plate, Chana plate, Paratha and Pori bread, along with Karak.. The best combination when comes with a cool morning.
They serve Keema and Chana only in the early morning (before 9am), after that not guaranteed to get.

In a word, or a few: The forever failsafe all-in-one cafeteria.
MFC is the equivalent of an all-encompassing grocery store - except with the groceries diced and cooked already. I mean, there isn't a thing you can't find on the menu.
Some stuff is absolutely incredible, some is ok, some you should avoid. But by and large, when you're serving such a diverse market like my neighborhood, there's no way to please everyone.
They make the fluffiest white rice - for AED 5 you get enough for 2-3 servings!!
Their daal is made so well and it has serious chili kick (with some green peppers thrown in for shiggles and tears), you can't stop eating it, then licking your fingers after.
The chicken tikka is actually boneless chunks with marinade, cooked over an open fire (I presume), but the flavors aren't for me.
The mutton seekh kebabs are ok - a little stiff and maybe best eaten fresh, not delivered.
Their chicken broast - melts- in - your - mouth!! I got a half once and finished it in about 10 min, with one hand, while on a call! You just can't stop!
The shawarma is a decent thing. I prefer the different pita bread (they use the thin one) but it tastes great. For extra kick, tell them 'Spicy' and they add some of that chili red sauce.
They also make fresh fruit juices (yet to try).

Possibly the best Arayes in Dubai are severed here. A medium sized cafeteria with all food yummy. Be it the beef fry, charcoal chicken, a shawarma or even a simple chicken burger. All of it is guaranteed to be a cracker dish.
The service is usually quick and the waiters are friendly.
Highly recommend the arayes! We (my cricket team members and I) make sure to have it every Tuesday!
A small cafeteria with tasty food. They serve a variety of Malayali , Arabic and Chinese dishes. The rice dishes are surprisingly tasty and the portions are large too. Very reasonable and tasty food. Would recommend the chicken macboos, beef curry , masala dosa and the chicken biryani.
Tried the grilled chicken. Served with garlic sauce, hummus and kaboos. Also ordered a Ceylon paratha which was good. Not the usually oily paratha. Good place for a quick meal. Light on the wallet too.. :)
Ok, most of restaurants are rip offs, like these fancy ass places that serve piles of shit for 100 - 200 aed and it can't feed 1 person, this is unlike those places, this is cheap, yet amazing food... to be quite honest it has better food than most of these pretend restaurants. I visited this place today and didn't regret the outcome!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. One because the value for the food is great. It takes 33 dhs for me and my boyfriend to get stuffed (we eat big portions too). Second the food is delicious. For me it is hard to find cafeterias that I can eat at without getting sick from badly cooked food, or because the food is cross contaminated with something I'm allergic to (I have to follow a very strict gluten/egg free diet). I usually order the chicken machboos which is now a comfort food favorite of mine. Service is quick and friendly and accommodating! All in all, a huge thumbs up to this place!

The staple food for those looking for cheap, good, quick bite in Dubai. Great Chicken Charcoal, wings, all the Indian foods, and also the Singaporean-Indian dishes.
Try the Chiku Juice, although it's a tad too sweet for me.
Was recommended this place by my Best Friend. Ambiance may not be 5 star but you go to this place for the food. Old School .. you won't find Poached Halibut or Seared Scallops.. what you will find is the best Fish Curry you've ever had, the best chicken masala, great biryani and if you ask them to cook the food with less oil, they do. The service is friendly.. Not everything on the menu is amazing but I am reviewing what I had.. Not to mention the juices.. I recommend the Orange/Apple/Strawberry mix (no sugar, with ice)
Located next to union cooperative behind shagrila..a good place to try shwarma..their mexican shwarma is excellent and spicy..the roll is properly filled with well cooked and flavored chicken..you can never go wrong with this place..the breakfast dishes are decent and parking never a problem..

Tried the chicken biriyani... Same as the rest of cafeterias, the biriyani comes with fried chicken. But to be honest it tastes good. Tried the shawerma as well before. Tastes good too.
Great value for money! We order home delivery and I find the Ordering process very easy compared to a lot of other places. Delivery time is average but the food makes up for it! We particularly like the Schwarma and mixed grill platter
CT is good. Tandoori brocilli, cheese nan. Nice lounge. Still quiet though. Service is slow. Must try the starters at the bar. The cocktails also a must try.
It's not necessary it always has to be a big fancy restaurant. Sometimes it's always good to try these small cafeterias also. Good food, I'd say. Low on budget? Not an issue. Very reasonably priced. The hommos and shawarmas are a must try!
