We love their kabas and Lassi. we ordered Lucknowi Kabab, and Shami kababs along with Dal and Paratha. We thoroughly enjoyed food and we end our meal with yummy Lassi.
If youre looking for the most creamiest lassi out there
This has to be the place for it
They were the most creamy amazing lassi which are served chilled in clay pots
The best luckhnow kebabs in town for sure but have noticed they have made the kebabs even spiceier which should be fixed....the seating area and cleanliness is not maintained ...we usually get it delivered and avoid dining in!
We love their kabasss. Lucknaei, and shami kababs both were amazing, every bite was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and not to forget the amazing lassi that they serve. Everyone should go and definitely try this restaurant.. you will love it. Value for money.
Enjoyed every bit of the Lucknowi kabab and Shami kabab.
Hands down to the best lassi in town!
And not just lassi, the Lucknow Kebab Paratha is great too!
The place is clean, staff is polite and the prices are not that high (expect around 50 AED for 2 people)
Bottom Line:
You HAVE TO try the lassi, I'm a fan!
Also, the kebab paratha is great!
The shammi kababs are melt-in-the-mouth - 4 pieces in a plate and just finished one 💕
We regularly order from Al Afadhil at home. A great place for mughalai cuisine and kebabs. We usually order the galauti Kebab, mutton kofta, lassi, seekh kebab and grilled chicken. I highly recommend all of these and especially the lassi is a must try which is served in a matka. Overall, always a great experience.
One fine afternoon, Food Guide Official had a unique opportunity to visit this restaurant serving the famous Lucknow kebab with special paratta to entertain our guests.
We ordered Lucknow kebab, Shami kebab, Kofta curry, special paratta and 3 lassi. The kebabs are fantastic and definitely worth trying as its their specialty. Kofta curry was fair because it had a tangy gravy base with meat balls inside. Their special paratta was replica of romali roti being as soft like a towel. Finally, the lassi was served in earthen pot with thick texture and rich flavor.
Overall an amazing dining experience which made our guests very happy as they were specifically looking for something unique to try.
We wanted to have some delicious kebabs for dinner last weekend thus headed to AL AFADHIL at Karama.
We have always been going der for their amazing kababs, their scrumptious chicken tikka ,signature dal fry served with hot parathas and mouthwatering lassi😍😍 The quality at Sharjah and Dubai is just the same 😋
The masala they use for chicken tikka is mindblowing😍😍
Also the kababs are super soft and juicy paired with that tangy tamarind chutney💕
.
I’m hungry already deciding when to go next 😛

Food-5/5
Service-5/5
Ambiance-3.5/5
Best shami kebab in town, korma and dal are also worth trying
Paratha is nice
Good quick service
Area of improvement for me should be the ambience, lights too dim, ancient furniture. Should definitely be cleaner and more hygienic.
Food wise no complaints
A literal ‘Hole-in-the-wall’ type establishment which has dedicated customers and lovers.
Basic tables & chairs, nothing in the name of décor.
But my god the food is marvelous. The best Lucknowi Kebabs on the planet. Served in quick time with warm, flaky rotis. Sliced onions and tamarind chutney to complement the meal. Shammi kebabs are also amazing. Spiced right and melt in the mouth.
Followed up by the lassi which doubles as a creamy dessert and is so thick that it has to be had with a spoon.
A simple yet Exceptional meal by any and all standards
I cant wait to visit again and again.
Limited and effective menu..amazing food..staffs are only let down for this restaurant
Small modest restaurant in Karama with even modest menu with less than 10 delicacies and each one of them is delicious to the core. Staff is extremely attentive and welcoming.
All kebabs are just melt in the mouth combined with thin flaky paratha’s is just heavenly. Kofta curry and korma are also worth trying. End the meal with their unique lassi which you can’t drink but have to eat with a spoon, is just soothing to the soul.
Must visit for all kebab lovers!
They have a single page menu which is simple and tasty . Try their Lucknowi kebab and chicken korma- super tasty and their paranthas are served hot and steaming
it’s a regular good food old restaurant - service is to the point and quick, prices are cheap. Not the best place to sit in and eat but the food is excellent.
Best and cheaper Lucknowee kebab as available in surrounding. Sitting space is not very high-end but ok as its low budget restaurant. Thick sweet lassi was also good as its like a ice cream to eat ... Love that. :)
True Lucknowi style kebabs! Quick, cheap and filling. Will definitely bring more people from my circle here :)
I love the paratha & kabeb especially if it cooked by lucknow chief.
Friendly staff, delicious food. Not one for those who consider ambience a priority.
Protip:Try the hot paratha with cool lassi.. a surprisingly yummy combo!
The best place in Dubai to have the traditional Lucknow Kebab! When my husband took me there for the first time, I was skeptical because have never heard about the place before, but to my surprise the taste was amazing. They have a limited menu option, but every item is worth trying. It literally melts in your mouth. Also, tried the lassi there. I am from kolkata, and this Lassi is no less than 'Mishti Doi' for me. I loved it!!
This is one of a kind of resturant who has only 8 items in his menu but serves a consistent taste on each of them.. Lucknow kawab which is I guess same as tundey kebab, hot parathas and thick creamy lassi is to die for in this resturant.. weekdays is fine but have heard it gets huge crowds on weekends. They serve a tamarind chutney which goes very well with kebab, dal and paratha.. ensure u try the lassi as it’s really good..
A must try for meat lovers. You can even go for their lassi alone. Its so yummy
Small menu with tins of flavour and authenticity
My normal intake are Lucknawi kebab, dal fry, paratha & finishing the meal with a lassi. Pure bliss. One time ordered the Shammi kebab instead. Nothing to complain. This is my go to place for satisfying my Lucknawi kebab cravings.
This ones a olde but goodie. A must have with the lucknowi dal, lucknowi kebab and roti. Simple yet one of the best. You should not leave the place without have the lassi, it is sooo good.
Can i get a better lucknawi kabab and the bestest lassi elsewhere ?? I doubt 🤔 ... yes ! #alafadhilrestaurant serves the best kababs and the bestest lassi in entire #UAE ~

🙌 Happy place for the #kabab lovers 🙌 1 page Menu on point with just 10 items on menu 🙌 Reasonably Priced 🙌 Very old restaurant , so the ambience and interior won’t please you but the food will definitely leave u outstruck and you vl definitely came back again without minding how does the place looks or feel 🙌 the kababs just melts in mouth and that delicious lassi satisfies the sweet craving .
📍 Location ~~ Al karama | Dubai ~ Al wahda | sharjha
Al Afadhil a nondescript restaurant located in the industrial area of Sharjah. A dimly lit place with furniture & decor of mediocre quality. But the food, delectable and fresh.
What we ate
Lucknowi kebabs and seekh kebabs with home style paranthas.
Legend goes that the galawati was first made for an ageing nobleman with no teeth by the one-armed chef Haji Murad Ali. The word galawati means 'melt in your mouth' and the lucknowi kebabs of Al Afadhil lives up to it. Flavourful in every bite.
The seekh kebabs were nice & juicy. The lamb meat was blended well with the aromatic spices.
We ended the rich and satisfying meal with their sweet lassi. Cold, thick & creamy. Perhaps the best lassi I've ever had till date. All items are fairly priced.
Enough said, do visit this place.
PS : eat your kebabs with the tamarind chutney that is served.
जन्नत 😍
The closest Lucknowi Galauti Kebab and Kebab Paratha you will ever get here...
Ahh... Don't miss that special Lassi ❤️
#LucknowMemories
#Authentic
My husband kept insisting for kebabs one particular night and so we ended up at Al Afadhil. This completely unassuming place is the perfect example of “Don’t Judge a book by its cover”. The food more than makes up for the lack of decor.
This place has a limited menu, but every dish on the menu is worth its place. We tried one of every item. The kebabs were all melt in the mouth and absolutely delicious. The flaky roti that comes with the kebabs is a perfect complement.
A special mention goes to the lassi which is a creamy Greek-yogurt-meets-lassi. It’s almost a dessert, so your sweet craving is also satisfied.
Great place with value for money!
Please dont look at the interiors.... frankly speaking i've tried only lassi here.. Damn!!!!! its so yummy!! Guys you have to try it.... its very reasonable price too. I heard food here is delicious..
what a lovely place.. we have been visited this place in Sharjah since 2003. food quality has only got better. all time favorites are lucknowi kebab, shammi kebab and paranthas.. their lassi is very amazing and one needs spoon to enjoi lassi.!!
Best place for Lucknow Kebabs!!!Best Lassi in Town!!! You will find only 1 page menu and you will see the crowd as well to try all those. Complimentary sweet chutney served to have with chappathi like rumali roti. The kebab Portion size is enough for 1 person but you cannot stop having 1 plate. Dal Curry is yummy. You will carve to have more lassi if you taste a bit. I become a lassy fan after having from here. A must visit restaurant. Avoid Fridays as it will be to much crowded.
The food is awesome though the menu is quite limited. We had tunde kabab and shami kabab. Me and my husband both liked shami kabab more over the tunde kabab. We don’t remember how many parathas we had with both of them. Cherry on the top was the creamiest lassy, I don’t remember I ever had such lassi anywhere in Dubai. A must visit place with no frills attached.
The only drawback is it’s location; quite inside from the main road.
Biryani (Mutton) just can't get better than this!!!
This is not an over the counter dish and can only be ordered at least 24hrs earlier. Try it and you'll know what I mean.
The most authentic flavor from Lucknow you can ever experience. The ambience too is good enough although the seats are limited.... But for the flavor they serve. You can never have enough seats.... Must try = Lucknow kabab and Lassi 💯
Lucknow Galouti kebab if you looking for then is the place.
They have limited items in menu but all legacy of Lucknow
Must try the lassi which they Serve in mud pot
The most authentic kebabs from lucknow and truly the best. I’m so glad they are here in karama and we don’t have to travel till sharajah everytime we crave the lassi that is more like an ice cream!
I also ate the kofta curry and parathas!
Superb food and extremely reasonable!
75dhs for three!

Visited Afadhil so many times. They have a very limited menu. Most of their items are non vegetarian, hence leaving very few options for non-meat eaters. But for a non-vegetarian, this place is pure heaven!
The restaurant is located opposite ansar gallery in karama, in the area that is behind the post office. Parking there is fairly easy to find, especially after work hours.
The ambience of the restaurant is nothing too fancy. It is a casual low budget dining restaurant, so don't expect anything fine dining worthy.
The service of the staff is super quick. None of them are rude but sometimes they seem a bit uninterested.
For the food you must absolutely try out all their kebabs and dal. They're so delicious! And not to forget their delicious lassi which is so thick that it has to be eaten with a spoon.
My Recommendations- All their kebabs, lassi.
Food- 4.5/5
Service- 3.5/5
Ambience- 3/5
Value for Money- 4.5/5
We ordered their mutton biryani for a casual sports night at ours. It's not in their menu but you need to give then a day's notice and they keep it ready for you to pick up at your convenient time.
The order was ready on time and piping hot when collected.
Flavourful biryani with generous chunks of tender mutton melting in the mouth.
It costed 150aed for 1kg which was good for 7-8 people. Packed in 5 take away boxes so no hassle of returning the vessel etc
Most definitely will order again.
Truly a hidden gem! This place has the most basic menu but the Lucknowi Kebabs are to die for! The parathas are crispy and flaky; go perfectly with the kebabs and the chutni!
The servers are quite prompt in bringing the soft warm parathas as soon as you need another one.
Don't forget to order the Lassi to finish things off :)
Visited this restaurant after hearing a lot about it. The food here was amazing with reasonable rates but very small quantity. They have a small menu but the food is super delicious and we end up ordering 2 plates/ person.
Pros: quality, quick service, friendly staff, reasonable rates.
cons: quantity.
Soft and awesome kebabs and worth all the money! The shami kebab and Lucknowi kebab is the best and highly recommended. The place is really economical but also very decently maintained. It's a great place, short and sweet menu! Great pricing, great food. It's off on the service bit but that's coz they are understaffed. Loved the kebabs! ❤️
If you enter this place you feel like a nawab with their seating arrangement. This place does justice to the infamous Lucknowi kebab. Perfectly cooked to perfection it just melts in your mouth. Their kofta so soft and tender you wouldn’t even realize when it just dissolved in your mouth and reached your tummy. The parathas cooked perfectly with the least amount of oil used.
And I cannot comment enough on the lassi. I usually do not eat anything to do with yogurt. But this was like ice cream.
The service is fast.
They have a common seating area and it’s indoors.
Food takes all the credit hence the 5 star rating
Food 5
Service and staff 4.5
Ambience 4
Hands down best lucknow kabab in Dubai along with hot hot parathas and to wash it all down their Lassi. We've been here many times and it's always consistent!!
Afadhil, Karama
This place has the most basic menu. Just some ten items on their list, but they know their thing very well.
Their lassi is supposedly the best in Dubai. Verrry thick creamy and rich! Portion size is tiny. You can have 2-3 easily. I found the lassi a little overhyped. I am pretty sure that it can be replicated at home easily, and I can't wait to try and when I do I 'll definitely review it here iA. It almost felt like yoghurt whipped to perfection.
We also tried the Lucknowi kebabs and shami kababs.
The Lucknowi kebabs were perfect, so melt in the mouth types. We loved them and they paired perfectly with the crisp paratha and imly ki chutney.
However, we didn't enjoy the shami kababs so much. Although very smooth, they tasted overwhelmingly of garam masala. I know garam masala is a vital ingredient in shaamis, the proportion just felt a little out of place.
The good part about this place is that the prices are pretty decent and overall the food is tasty. The Dal fry here is also good, but I haven't tried it.
I would definitely recommend this place for good food

A hidden gem in Karama known for delicious Lucknowi kebabs. The ambiance is quite simple with some ancient style heavy wooden furniture. The menu offers about a dozen of dishes- kebabs, paratha’s, curries and lassi. The service was quite quick and the food was delectable. The restaurant serves some mouth-watering dishes.
All the dishes we had were delightful with the aroma of the Indian spices. Oh, not to forget their Lassi, its divine!! Make sure to have the Lassi after your meal as its heavy and will make you full.
Lucknow Kebab
Shami Kebab
Seek kebab
Chicken Tikka
Chicken Korma
Paratha’s
The prices are very economical and a great place to satisfy your taste buds craving for some authentic Lucknowi dishes.
A hidden gem in Dubai.Have tried their lucknow kabab, shami kabab, seekh kabab, chicken tikka, dal fry paratha and special lassi.Food is excellent.I loved their chicken tikka the most.Lucknow kabab was also gud.We enjoyed it with hot parathas and onion.Star of the table was their special lassi. We ended up ordering 3 glasses. It was creamy and delish.A very pocket friendly place to try some mughlai food.
What i didnt like about al afadhil is their dining area and ambiance. Its very congested and there is no room to breath even.I was not happy with overall cleanliness especially the dining tables and seats..
If you are fond of kababs then you should certainly try out this place at karama.Shami kabab,Lucknow kabab, chicken tikka are the ones you should not here miss also they serve soft rotis which you can have with different options of gravy available. You will have to search for their board outside if you are coming for the first time, sitting is ok.Try out if you are foodie
you have to try the LASSI here its not a lassi its more like a cream, certainly gotta try
the Lucknowi kebab with the pratha and the chutney is spicily the best thing to eat
the chicken tikka and dal mash were also great
Its one of the hidden gems in Dubai. I remember specially going to there sharjah branch before for there specially shammi tikka and the ultra special sweet lassi. Its great that they have now turned out better and open a very affordable and good restaurant here in karama
It helps a lot of lower working class people here as well as its worth every penny. Affordable and good food.
They serve the tikkas with soft and hot paranthas and combine it with imli chutney and onions. Make it a perfect combination
Must Try - Shammi Tikka , Chicken Tikka ending with Lassi is a must.
One of the few hidden gems in Dubai,Food is affordable and very tasty,The dish that stood out for us is the Chicken Tikka which was marinated and cooked to perfection, moist and tender.
The paratha was very unique and so was the lassi,One of the best we had.
Highly recommend the lassi, paratha and chicken Tikka.
I wish they can do delivery which will be convenient for those who do not live close by and want to enjoy there delicious food.
Amongst the best kababs ive eaten. No preservatives no masalas overpowering the meat. Pure food. LASSI NOT TO BE MISSED FOR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD😍😍😍😍😗😗😗😗
This hidden gem in the streets of Karama has an extremely simple menu with only 10 items and they deliver the best of it.
We ordered for the Lucknow kebabs, shami kebabs and the chicken kebab( choice of leg, breast piece) with paratha. The Lucknow kebabs are so soft that they are smeared onto a plate, their shami kebabs taste equally good with more of cinnamon flavours.
We also ordered the lassi which is served in mud cups, not exactly of drinking consistency but it’s nice and sweet!
A must visit for anyone who loves kebabs!
Strange menu & atmosphere but the taste of the food is unbelievable. The most delicious Lassi, parata & Biriyani I have ever tried in Dubai. Even though Biriyani is not in the menu, they serve if you place the order in advance. Worth trying as I have visited them thrice within a week. Really appreciate for their kind service. It seems like I am addicted to their food now.
Limited menu, however all items are of good quality, must try the lassi, this restaurant would have done way better if it was located a little more convenient
One of the best lucknowi kabab in Dubai. Thank God they have improved their customer service which was pathetic before. Gooood job guys. Their chutney is just magical.
So guess I don’t want to state the obvious but the the essential purpose of dining out is FOOD!! Which this place has really got right. Food is yum, there’s not enough on the menu, but then I think that’s what has kept this place going. Less but hitting the bull’s eye. The X factor for this place is the paratha and lassi and at the end of this it doesn’t really eat your wallet which is a total go to place for me.
Short menu but great food. High on taste. Kebabs are worth the try and their lassi too. Quick service and decent ambience. Highly recommended
Don't think I've ever been to a place with a smaller menu. But the food here is really good. We ordered the Lucknow Kebab, Seekh Kebab, Shami Kebab, Daal Fry, Kofta and Parathas. Since I'm new to this part of the world, it took a bit of getting use to making a meal of kebabs with Paratha. Liked the place and the food. Lassi is divine. Service was good. Could do with a few more dishes on the menu through.
