An authentic Armenian Restaurant which serves some amazing Armenian delicacies. The moment you step in the Restaurant you get the feel of being in Armenia. The ambience here is warm & cosy and the staff extremely friendly. They make you completely feel at home and help you choose your choice of food from their extensive menu. Food is very delicious & authentic and you just can't have enough and end up over eating. A must try for some finger licking delicacies & great hospitality.

Ararat is a very unique restaurant in terms of everything. The moment you step inside, you will feel like you are in an old Armenian village. The food is delicious, the interior is beautifully designed and the music fills the atmosphere with joy. As an Armenian, I am very thankful for the opening of this restaurant in Dubai! It is definitely a restaurant to recommend.

We happen to visit this beautiful place on Women’s Day!! Wow lovely ambience and staff is courteous!! Authentic Armenian food!! We ordered Garni , Khurjin and lamb BBQ with lemonade Nathari mint and peach flavor!! Food is tasty 😋!Last but not the least the free dessert was nice!! Cheers to all women!!I will definitely visit I again to try some other Armenian food for sure!!Prices are reasonable!!
This is a hidden gem. It is very close to Al Ghurair mall, so pay a visit if you ever go there.
Food - Everything I tried was different and amazing. This was my first time trying Armenian food and I wasn’t dissapointed.
Ambience - They have done great work with the setup, it makes you feel like you are actually in Armenia.
Service - Bit of a struggle communicating in English but some staffs are good so its not a deal breaker.
Trust me, this place is a must visit of you are a foodie!!!
After attending countless dinner events organized by the lovely Miss Aelita who made us embark on a culinary journey, especially in Ararat throughout 2017, Armenian cuisine is not to be missed. The restaurant adorned with a village theme and all Armenian staff including the owners makes it undoubtedly authentic. Armenian food ranges between Turkish and Arabic grills whilst having their own national dish known as ‘Khash’ which is very similar to Iraqi pacha as well as Georgian ‘Khinkali’. The food is served in big portions on big platters. Even if they make you wait for your order, once you see the dish coming, you feel the wait was worth it. The location is opposite fish roundabout and 5 minutes walk from Carrefour/Ghurair Center. Special thanks to Miss Aelita for her great efforts in introducing us to Armenian culture, history and cuisine.
Within the crowded area of Deira, this Ararat is located in the serene and tranquil place. The authentic taste of Armenian though I have never tasted the one in Armenia. But I can tell that the food served here must be genuine Armenian and thus superbly delicious.
I had an experience of shrimps kabab from this restaurant and they were awesome . I ordered shrimp kababs and mix grill both were yummy. Moreover service is also fast and good . Grill was ok but the shrimps kabab were amazing. Interior is also very beautiful with the combination of small stones.

I went to Ararat after a long crave for Khinkalis, which i typically like to eat in Gieorgia and Armenia. The place has a very cozy village style design. The meat khinkalis were pretty good (I wish they also had the mushroom khinkali). We also had an excellent eggplant topped with minced meat dish. The yogurt soup was less than average. I would definitely go again to try other dishes.

Torn between sharing this restaurant with others so they can try it, and keeping it all to myself. 💙 this one is a rare gem - everything was so, so good. Food was great and fresh - a far cry from the usual dxb grub. We had their hummus with traditional Armenian bread, Dolma, and Chicken Kebab - everything was really tasty. The Armenian coffee is just perfect. Interior was very intricate, and service was impeccable. The servers do not speak much English but they were very helpful and we were able to communicate in broken English. Their manager (or maybe owner?) was hands-on though, he was warm and speaks English fluently. This is an underrated place and everyone should be able to experience what it offers. Do hope the quality of the food and service won't change in the future. We will definitely come back to this place. 💙

The location is good, the restaurant is great in design and atmosphere...
I ordered first of all Taraxon lemonade juice it is awesome.... salad and pickles are very delicious... for the main course I ordered 2 plates Salomon fish and chicken breast it was unbelievable ... staff are very friendly and helpful... I will visit it again and again...

Beautiful place, authentic, warm, welcoming. Staff is super helpful, always smiling. Very reasonably priced, they even deliver. Very continent to reach and find parking. You need to try everything, the salads, mains, grills and oh my... sweets ❤️

Very thrilled with the place and food we had. I will start with the design: it's been kept in the best traditions, even thought I've never visited Armenia, but I'm coming from an Eastern European country I was pleased to find lots of details which resembled our style too. I could tell they put lots of soul and effort to make it feel like in an old traditional Armenian place. The outdoor seating area looks great too. The whole staff is Armenian, including the chef of course which makes this restaurant more authentic.
Now talking about food: the menu it has a huge selection for any taste. I went too excited and started ordering too many things but I was told by the waiter that portions are big and to postpone with further orders :) saved my money and calorie intake.
We've been served with some pickles and bread from the house which were delicious. The food was full of flavor, it felt homemade and fresh, the presentation was beautiful too. We've been offered by the courteous and friendly waiter to take away the leftover food: the packaging was of good quality and very accurate. Looking forward for my next visit to try more items from the menu.
It was very delicious. We thouroghly enjoyed the experience. I recommend this restuarant to anyone who appreciate good food. The price is very reasonable. I will defenitly go there again and this is one place that i will take my friends to

Invited to Ararat Restaurant, located in Wasl Souk close to fish round-about Deira; I found it to be a hidden gem in its truest sense. The cuisine is authentic Armenian (former Soviet Republic country); a cuisine which celebrates its tastes of meat; unhindered by spice and sauces. Everything from the cuisine, ingredients, crockery, decor, staff, management, music was authentic; even the meat, vegetables and mineral water were imported from Armenia. Every bowl / plate / tray we were served in didn't look like it was sourced locally either. We were served pickled vegetables, a fresh salad with cucumber, rocket leaves and tomato and hot bread baked in-house as appetizers.
For main course we ordered a Khashlama Ararat; which is similar to a goulash / lamb stew / payya, made with large fatty pieces of Armenian goat, chopped bell peppers and other veggies. The taste of the lamb had found its way into every spoonful of stew; delicious - the best choice for a meat lover. We also ordered a Veal BBQ which was served with grilled potatoes, sauce, kept warm in a flat-bread; the veal could have been cooked less for a more succulent texture; but well grilled nonetheless.
Our drinks were a Cherry Armenian compote and a fizzy cooler from Georgia, both went well with the grub; and refreshing during a humid summer. For dessert we had a small piece of traditional walnut pie, which was rich but not sickeningly sweet; a perfect end to the meal. We washed down the meal with a Thyme tea; which was delicious and refreshing.
I'd definitely recommend a visit at least for the novelty; I'd go back to try so many more items off their menu. Language is a bit of a barrier whilst ordering. The restaurant has spared no money in investing in the decor both indoors as well as outdoors, where you can sit on the souk's first floor veranda and watch the hustle and bustle of Deira below. Indoors, the restaurant plays traditional music; you could easily forget you were sitting in old Dubai whilst relishing some authentic meats and bobbing your head to folk music at this Armenian gem.
This place is fairly close to my house but I went with my car, located in the same area where old Maktoum hospital was, there is ample parking available on basement level.
The place is on the first floor so if you are going with prams, one of the staff will help carry it upstairs.
The place is open and welcoming, cozy and warm.
Food is delicious too, I ordered tea, kinkali, saffron rice and lamb kebabs which came with a lovely sauce. All very delectable and Fresh.
The complimentary Armenian bread is good but I felt it should have been softer and warmer.
The staff is very friendly and know how to keep a child entertained too, 5 points for that!

Best barbecue in Dubai! All my friends who want to know Armenia closer should visit (with me) this place.Interior is quite unique for Dubai and you feel like in the old Armenian village. Prices are affordable and what is more important - free parking space :)
