This restaurant has been my favourite place for Madhbi. The flavours are amazing believe me. Tried the Lamb madhbi as well and omg the lamb was so soft. Spices were perfectly balanced. The soap was yum as well. Let's talk about my favourite dessert, Fattah (a must try you guys) mix of dates, fresh cream and honey topped with Kalonji seeds ( yummy and healthy ) Last but not the least love the sulaimani tea served in small glasses. The ambience was nice and the sitting area is sooo soo comfortable and cosy that I wanted to sleep in there.
I really love to go with my wife to have there fish ( Farsh and sea bream with Bukhara rice like I would give 10 out of 10 with the best service ever.
There Yemeni tea with the Fattah with dates, honey and cream is cherry on the top.
One of the best Mandi I have ever had in my life. Chicken was so tender literally slid off the bone. The roast potatioes with the chicken was also succulent being cooked in chicken fat..Definitely will visit again with family. If you are a fan of authentic Mandi, this is where you need to come...P.S The lamb soup was also delicious. Seasoning and flavor was perfect.
Wadi Doan has the most amazing mandi and bukhari rice. They also have this offer of quarter mandi, which come with a quarter chicken and plate full of rice (Mandi or Bukhari). This is perfect for a person and so affordable (10 to 12 AED). The delivery is quick too. Hardly takes the delivery guy 25 mins.
Overall, it's one of my favourite mandi places.

Best Yemeni Mandi in Garhoud area. The ambience is moderate. Chicken Madhbi is superb in taste with chicken perfectly marinated and grilled. Added stars for the freshness of their dishes even their side soup which is hot and well flavored. I felt the price is reasonable if they would have added the yoghurt with Mandi which is mandatory for all i believe.
Best place period. I can never have enough,they have different types of dishes and flavors which makes you eat more and more just soo good.!

Wadi Doan is just an average mandi place, however, I recommend you to try their rich in taste lamb Madfoon, and their delicious Kunafa.

I love their white beans with egg or tuna and their Arabic bread.
Their staff are also polite and friendly.
Absolutely amazing Genuine food....must try the liver in a sizzlers plate and the Madfoon Lamb is sooooo good. Don’t forget to reserve the Madfoon as soon as you go or before to ensure you get it. Loved this place.....it is highly recommended!!!!
One of the best restaurants in uae to have meet in yamani style .. mandi, madfoon and madbi... the madfoon laham is ther best ... i tryed this time the dinner and I wanted it to be light so I tried the tonafish in the rook plate ... it was yummi 😋

This place is by far the best Mandi/Madhbi place in UAE.Their Rice has a certain aroma which is very unique and hard to find in other similar joints.Mutton Madhfoon is super tasty. Not sure how they make their food look so simple and yet so delicious.

I came here without knowing how good the place is. I was craving mandi and read decent reviews on zomato. Took a while to get it packed but i loved the taste. I had the supreme fish as it priced more or less the same as chicken. Will definitely be back here more 😁
Wadi Dawan is a town and desert valley in central Yemen. Located in the Hadhramaut Governorate, it is noted for its mud brick buildings. the name sake in Dubai has carved a special niche in mandi , madfoon or madhbi style of cooking. Eating the best of Mutton Biriyani - minimum spice and oil and Fahsa. sitting - they have both tables and on traditional ground. Thumbs up !

Food as Mandi is good and delicious . Authentic Mandi . Nice soup and yummy tomato sauce.
But the madfoon wasn't tasty at all . The spices is not good and the chicken did have smell because the spices wasn't enough.
Over all I like the place for its Mandi dishes.
Can you believe this meal costs 10.5 dhs only? If you order for takeout or deliver only. But that’s not all the food actually tastes amazing. Always warm and fresh. They serve you with a perfect portion of food to make you feel the right level of full. Sauce is great too. Well done. Recommended.

One main thing I noticed here is that the management will notice us and they treat as a guest.once we go there definitely u will be noticed wen u r back there..they even offer us tasty sweets and black tea 🤟🏻

We went here with a big group, no reservations, on a Friday. It was already packed, but the kind staff managed to fit us all in and provided great service. The food was great, really nicely seasoned and filling.

After watching the video from Basil Al Hajj, I and my wife went to this place to try their food, unfortunately we couldn’t find the mandi meat, which was highly recommended in that video, after our pleasant experience I am looking forward to try it soon,
They have special seating for families, private rooms, the food was really very nice, if you are into the Yemeni food you must pay this restaurant a visit, I am looking forward for my next visit, I am looking to try the other items on their menu specially the appetizers, they have good staff and service is very good and fast. This is the first time my wife is having meat. Being raised in India, mutton is the least preferred of all meats in the southern state of kerala. Beef is the choice of indulgence.
I took her here, not having eaten there earlier, i wasn't sure what to expect either.
A colleague recommended this place and there we sat awaiting our meat madfoon.
Came wrapped in dangerous aluminium foil, the meat had the oily water running inside the foil with chunks of boiled potato.
Truth be told, the madfoon was quite good. My wife who didn't know what to expect from mutton too was impressed.
It was a little too salty though. Now I'm thinking it was way too salty and hence they added the potato to absorb the saltiness.
I haven't been there since, I'm psychologically against cooking food in aluminium, i don't won't to end up with Alzheimer's.
But for people who are okie with a little aluminium ending up in your brain scan, go ahead and try out this madfoon.

We were there on the Islamic New Year and restaurant was packed. We ordered the fish supreme and mahdi chicken. The fish took a bit time but it was very tasty,, mahdi chicken was also nice. I also liked the soup they served as a starter.

Me and my Syrian friend ordered 2 Mutton zorbian upon his recommendation. Well presented accompanied by soup and shathha. Soup had more masala flavor for it which I liked.
Zorbian, Initially it tasted good but maybe because of the quantity we couldn't finish and had to parcel the remaining.
He told me that their mandi and mazbi tastes really good, so will have to try that next time.

Best place that serves an authentic yemeni cuisine .. Delicious mandi and you have to try the grilled fish ( farsh ) and the yemeni bread one of my favorite dishes. And also serves the best yemeni desert ma3soob you gotta try it.
The most amazing yemeni food & the restaurant is very clean staff are polite & helpful..there are tables & Arabic majles I really like Arabic majles..there is family section where you really feel at home..the madfoon lahm is the best & its good for 2 person
Perhaps the king of Garhoud, and the most respectable ambassador of Yemeni cuisine. The owenrs of this restaurant are meticulous about quality, you can see that. Nowhere is the madfoon meat so tender and heavenly. I would come here to feel the deep love of food passed down generations over centuries, thank you Wadi Daon and keep it going. A round of applause for the staff that is alert and smiling.
This place should have at least 4.0 it's super super super.
Try Haneeth with ribs (del3) if like meat with fat, if u like meat without fat then take Haneeth shoulder (ketf).
If u like to try something other than Mandi then go for "glabat", i tried here; liver, beans with eggs, tuna, meat and fish and all are priceless.
Warning: make sure you don't have plans after eating here, because you should only head home and lay on the couch and think of nothing.

One of my favorite Yemeni restauarant and I dont go there for Mandi and rice. I particularily go for dinner tk eat their Qillaba with their Rushoosh bread. Go for the chicken qillaba and foul with eggs qillaba.
I can say this restaurant is good enough to try for one time, if you like the taste, you may go again. There is nothing special about their food. They made nice decorations. Friendly staff, and fast service. I really liked the soup (maraq) they serve as appetizer.
Good Yemeni Restaurant. Mutton Madfoon amd Mutton Mandi is a must try. The best of all is Banana Fattah with Honey and Cream once you have it you cant stop eating.
The food is delicious and traditionally Yemeni. I love their fatar, mandi and masbi. The actual spelling can be different. Parking is a huge issue but they do have their staff for valet parking and they do home delivery.
Surprisingly I never ate Mandi before having lived in UAE for 15 years, but I went to this restaurant for lunch twice as its really close to my work place. I had their Mandi and Madhbi, both with Kabsa rice. The Mandi chicken was a bit dry, but the Madhbi was really good. Their soups were not too good, but the rice and spicy chilli paste and tangy tomato paste tasted amazingly flavourful together!

Food is fantasic here especially the chicken and tuna stew - these are must orders. Service is great despite it being full always. If you take a room, expect to wait slightly longer for the waiters to come but they are still very attentive mashaaAllah. For all the times I've been, I've had a good experience and always walked out happy. The only negative experience was today when I booked a room at around 1pm for iftaar and they confirmed it. Made plans with the family and at 4pm I received a call saying there was a mistake and there are no rooms. I was very upset because they made a mistake and I had to pay for it. They did not try to fix it and left me very disappointed and upset. Had to change plans last minute. That was the only negative experience. My advice to them is that they should have handled it better and not with an attitude as if it was my issue to fix. A sincere apology and an offer for extra service like free foods or drinks as a token of apology would have left your customer less disappointed.
Nice busy Mandhi restaurant located pretty close to the Chilis in Garhoud. Parking isn't a problem in case you are going there for dinner. The mutton Madfoon and mutton Mandhi is a must try. They have family rooms with traditional seating as well as some with tables. The service was ok and the response was pretty quick. Overall nice place to visit with family and friends.
I'm always coming here especially that's close to my office, I've tried mostly the entire menu, I deeply suggest "Farsh"grilled fish, madfun laham, Burma laham, beans stew and dn forget to ask for nuts, green chili sauce and for sure the tomato sauce :)
Fancier than a usual Mandi joint, gr8 food, gr8 ambience. I've tried the Mandi, mazbi and the madfoon, they were all brilliant. Apart from the fact that beef choices are slightly expensive option here, this place is totally worth it... The only downside is the service reduces drastically during rush hours, which is understandable..
A local yamani restaurant with a Unique taste and unique dishes.Their shrimp stew and mazbi are very good.If u want to try lamb zorbean ,go there for early dinner like 7 or max8.

This is easily one of the very best Mandi restaurants in the UAE – a must visit for any Mandi lover. Hard to find parking but most certainly worth the effort. And as a fellow reviewer pointed out, service can be a little…um, detached. But get a steaming plate of flavoursome rice in front of you, open up the foil wrapped, straight out of the oven parcel of tender, juicy meat (along with onions and potatoes) and I guarantee you, all will be forgiven. Bah Bah!
