Let me just say, this place will truly take you to the buzzling streets of Mumbai. And after all, Mumbai is a city, but Bombay is an emotion. This is really emphasised here! I came across this place after reading their reviews on Zomato, and I’m so glad I did. The dosas, juices, they’re all very pocket friendly and always worth a try!!! I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for that perfect Bombay style food.
I always visit this place for their pav bhaji and chai. I would say till now i have not eaten pav bhaji better than them here in UAE.
Well also ordered dahi batata puri, classic frankie and cheese sandwich this time.
The only thing this time i felt that sandwich was bit dry.
.
Nevertheless, the food is great and the staff is polite
Tucked inside the bylanes of Bur Dubai, this is a small place frequented by regulars.
Had their Pani Puri which seemed very much in demand looking at the crowd in front of their counter. Nice taste and the water being very cold made it more enjoyable.

Perfect taste of mumbai street food. Pani puri was excellent. Pav bhaji was nice & flavorful. Highly recommend grill sandwich and masala tea. But best was pav wada & samosa.
Can you imagine strolling through the crowded lanes of Mumbai without grabbing a Vada Pav? When it comes to street food, India is one proud nation where every state – every city has its own specialty. The wide varieties of scrumptious, quick and cheap street food are known for giving hunger pangs.
So if your mouth has started watering already, I would advise you to hold on your taste buds because we have a similar street here in Dubai as well.
Yes this little gem tucked away in the bustling streets of #burdubai will certainly set your tummy on a roll. So head over to @bombaytimes_dubai as they intend to take you on a delicious journey beginning from the North to the South, and give you the taste of Real India.
We enjoyed the utterly butterly delicious Pav Bhaji with delightful spicy bhaji accompanied with butter-soaked buns and served with juicy wedges of lime, green chilies and onions .
They have recently launched “Bombay frankies” and I got to try two different flavours. It was extremely delicious.
🚨 Don’t forget to try the “Adrak wali chai” when you visit them. You gonna fall in love at first sip. It’s that freaking good. And I mean it. 🚨
BOMBAY TIMES: Located at busy Al Fahidi street at Mina Bazaar in Burdubai, this tiny café serves variety of Indian street food, fast food along with, chaats, sandwiches and fresh juices.
This food joint reminded me of my life in busy streets of Bombay having chaats. We started with Tawa classic pav bhaji. The spicy bhaji was too delicious and the pav was very soft with plentiful of butter. This got vanished in no time. Dahi sev puri was scrumptious.
They have recently launched BOMABY Style FRANKIES with different flavors. We tried two of them Fusion paneer Frankie and Chowmein Frankie. They were tasty and flavorful.
Finally, we had masala tea which was a typical adrakwali chai from streets of Bombay. It was too good that I ordered one more.
It’s a must visit joint to have some quick bites on the go.

An absolute gem packed away in the busy streets! The staff were very polite and very helpful when we couldnt choose what to get! Settled on the bombay cheese sandwich, jini Dosa, mango milkshake and their pani puri. Honestly tastes EXACTLY like Bombay. Their portion sizes are great, very economical. Tried out all their different types of pani puri and we loved it all! Would definitely come back!
Bombay Times, well known for their Indian Street food is located in one of the busy lanes of Meena Bazaar. Its a cozy, simple Indian street food joint, just the way you want when you are looking for comfort food.
We tried Pani puri, easily one of the best i had. The puri was nice n crispy n the filling was fantastic. Tawa Classic pav bhaji, was delicious and the pav was buttered generously. Chatpata sev puri grill cheese sandwich, a delicious filling and topped with lots of cheese, very generous portion. Dahi puri was crispy, mild spice, sweet n tangy. The flavors was extremely delicious and worth trying. Gini dosa was something unique and was served hot with potato stuffing and cheese topping.
Sweet lassi and Orange juice was refreshing. Masala chai is a must try before leaving the restaurant.
One must definitely head to this place if you are looking for street food types kind of snack. Bombay Times is great place to grab a quick bite.
The yummiest and actually the best vada pav I had in dubai😋😋........ it’s made fresh and has the crispy freshly fried vada with buttered pav and tangy and spicy sauce🤤🤤😍......doesn’t the description get water in your mouth and also the pic😜😜but do surely go and try and prices are also reasonable..... BOMBAY TIMES 😃👍🏻♥️ Burger bole toh BAKWAAS vada pav bole toh JHAKAAS👌🏻🤩😜
became a fan of their Vada pao and Cheese Dhabeli. So when the steert food cravings arose again, I thought of the best street food restaurant in town, Bombay Times
Ordered the Cheese vada pao, Cheese Dhabeli and Mysore cheese masala dosa
All the items which we ordered was super cheesy. And was very yummy. The pricing is very pocket friendly.
The service was quick.
The food was good and we enjoyed our dishes.
I can just say it is superlicious, mouth watering and yumm.. have tried almost everything pay bhaji, jini dosa, paneer tawa pullao, vada pav, samosa pav, pani puri... This place is just amazing if u love Mumbai street food this is the place to be. They really take you to a journey to the streets of Mumbai. Must tryy. Keep up the taste guys.
This Bombay Mysore Cheese 🧀 Masala Dosa is really YUMMY and the cheese Dabeli is class apart. The mix inside is too good in both dosa and dabeli.
This is Restaurant located in Al Fahidi (Meena Bazaar). This place is a hidden gem 💎 which I don't think too many people know about.
This Dosa was splendid and is served with coconut chutney and tamatar chutney. It tastes just so delicious.
Inside this dosa there were lot of ingredients which makes this fusion dosa likeable and yummy. It wan't just ordinary aloo masala.
The Dabeli felt like an authentic one that we have it on the streets in India. Don't get me wrong. It did feel premium as the quality and the masala inside was loaded also the cheese on top was top notch.
We will request the restaurant next time to take a live kitchen video then we will show you what ingredients they add.
The cheese above was the need of the hours and it just makes this dosa and dabeli perfect.
Try this place out if you haven't yet. Anybody coming to Dubai. Please make a note of this place you will really thank us later.
Great Mumbai food. Authentic taste.
The food was really great especially the vada pav and the packing. It was my first time here maybe I would frequent the outlet more often but they should really work on their hospitality as I had just come there only to grab a vada pav as quickly as possible and the waiter just made a face and gave a remark just a vada pav it left me at a very uncomfortable situation as can't a person just order for a food to go.
The place is pocket freindly mostly crowded but worth it the taste of the chaat took me back to mumbai it was amazing.
This time I had ordered Bombay veg cheese grill sandwich, sabudaana vada, misal pav, chole bhature, samosa chole chaat and topping it all tea. Out of all these things what I liked the most were sandwich, chole bhature and misal pav. Sabudana vada and Tea were just ok not that great. Samosa chaat was also good but can be improved. If you are planning to go there with one or two friends then it’s fine but if you go with a group of people then it becomes a lil congested.
Love most of their dishes but our favourite here is jini Dosa! Its flavorful and looks tempting. The bombay vegetable cheese grill is also mouth watering though we felt the chutney wasnt fresh. The vada pav and tawa pulao which we have had here earlier are also very typical bombay style and delicious. Ragda Pattice is okay. Ragda sev puri was yummy too. The only issue is on a weekend the place is so crowded as seating area is also very small. But worth the wait
If you are on the streets of meena bazar then dont forget to visit Bombay times to relish lip smacking mumbai street food rite(as the name says) from gol gappa/puchka/pani poori to the variety of chaats and sandwiches apart from dosas n other variety (all veg). I thoroughly enjoyed crispy whole wheat golgappas with 3 different types of filling-1st one with sprout filling was the best. Chaat was beautifully plated n it was good. I tasted Mumbai style jini dosa for the 1st time, the generous grated cheese on it took the taste on a different level making it even more tasty. We all 4 enjoyed Mumbai style sandwich and for digestion we sipped masala soda which was excellent. This small eating joint in the middle of meena bazar can't be missed n it is value for money eating joint with excellent hospitality.
Located in one of the most popular places in Dubai the meena bazar Bombay times is typical Bombay street food so perfectly served and felt that it reminds you of Bombay for sure . I love their serving style of pani puri outside . Me being a Pakistani it was my first time experience this way and I loved it . Followed by some karak chai like desi Bombay cutting :D dahi batati puri , chana bhatoray , veg club meal sandwich , jini dosa and pav Bhaji just made my evening . No doubt this is a must visit all thou it’s a small place does not accommodate much people for a longer time it is just a perfect feel . They have minimal outdoor sitting area too . For veg lovers this is perfect place as it serves pure vegetarian meals

Great ambiance and mouth watering food. Must go for all the chat lovers ❤
This spot reminded me of the street style food from Mumbai. The same taste which I was missing!
The owner and the staff were really good and helped us in what all to try.
First and the most important to try is their Pani Puri! How can you miss it?
Pani Puri/Gol Gappe/Puchke what ever you call, tasted really good. I have been a fan of Pani Puri with Aloo masala but dont forget to try it with Ragda(White Dal)
Then tried their Dahi Batata Puri, Jini Dosa, Bombay Style Club Sandwich and Chole Batture. Ended with Salted Lassi.
The food was very good and had a really great time.
Overall - 5 Stars

This restaurant offers some of the best Bambaiyya street food. If you're in Dubai and not tried this one you're missing something. I've tried everything on the Menu - VadaPav, Pav Bhaji, Misal, Usal, Tawa Pulao, Pani Pure and the wide variety of Chaat Items. Do visit and enjoy the experience.
We tried many things and they all were absolutely delicious.
Sev Puri Sandwich and Paani Puri were the best I have had since years.
Have made a List of what I will try for my next visit.
Highly Recommended!
Tucked inside an alley in meena bazaar this street food restaurant is a must visit. We first went with the Pani Puri which was really good and spicy. I loved their traditional way of serving it, the server made it as we enjoyed it. Beside that we had pav bhaji which was really buttery and yummy. Their papdi chat and the special cheese dosa was also very good. Also don't forget to try their mango lassi. All in all a great place for a street food lover.
Eating pani puri on the spot made for you was the highlight of this experience. I've tried pani puri so many times but bombay times was one of the best experience. You can feel the street vibes like in mumbai.
Home feels! What a food, true Mumbaiya taste.
Pav Bhaji is finger licking good!
Other good options are Cheese Masaala Pav, Chai, Samosa.
This is a small place in Meena Baazar but not that difficult to find. Sitting area is limited but worth the wait.
Bombay times reminds about street food joints of Mumbai. If you are crazy for fast food its a must visit.
PavBhaji tawa pulav are super delicious.
Vada pav and ragada pani puri are super tasty.
Must visit and hidden place in meena bazaar and great place to have a quick bite. 💖
One of the best places I’ve eaten in a really long long time.. seating could be a major issue !! But the food is out of the world
Tried their pani poori , zinni dosa and cheese pav bhaji.. it’s just out of the world !!
Only some of the items are tasty.
Ordered
Onion Bhaji Pav - This is one of the best pav bhajis i have tasted in dubai. A very authentic mumbai street food taste.
Chatpata Sev Puri Grilled Cheese - The filling was so amazing. The spices as well as the cheese had an amazing combination.
The service was great and the street food is just to die for.
This time I will keep my review short & simple. This place has one of the best street food in Dubai.. Must visit this place, I have never had such an Mumbai style Pav bhaji in dubai, It was next level & They have Spicy Hariyali Tawa Pulaw which is Amazing... This is heaven for Foodies, I am going to try everything in his Menu for Sure. Its 10/10 for me.
Best place to eat paav bhaji specially prepared in Amul Butter. So ofcourse it is delicious. Jini dosa should be try here as that also my favourite dish.
Other dishes are also give you the real taste of Mumbai.
Mysoor masala dosa is not typical south Indian but same as per our mumbai taste. yummy
Excellent Masala chai. Never had any chai better than this one in Dubai so far. Haven't tried the food yet. Will review once I've tried it. Just Wow!
if you are a fan of quick bites of Indian food then this is a place for you I went there and write their vada pav pani puri and many more food here the taste of the food is quite good the water the panipuri is spicy a lot and tasty at the same time
Probably one of the best pani Puris I have had in Dubai. It was super super fresh! And the pani was right level of sour and chili. I also tried their chaat which had quite yummy flavor, it had pomegranate and nuts which added the flavor. Third I’m not a diss fan but I can go to Bombay times again and again for dosa it was that good. I tried their jini dosa, it was dosa cut in four pieces, and veg filling topped with cheese reloaded. I also tried their pav bhaji and cheese sandwich. My experience was amazing and loved each and everything. It is super cheap also not pricey at all. Guys try it. Special recommendation on dosa.
This hidden gem was an absolute treat to discover. Undoubtedly, They serve the best Pav Bhaji in Dubai. We tried their Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav and Misal Pav. Food was amazing! Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji are a must try.
Been there once, and have been craving to go back there ever since. Being from Mumbai this is one of my favourite restaurants for the food they offer. Excellent presentation and absolutely delicious food. The sev puri sandwich was something new and had me impressed by how good it tasted. Keep it up👋
Best place for Mumbai food..Aam rus, pani puri, dahi papdi chat, vada pav, cheese vada pav, dosa and many more..this is best place for chat.. i love pani puri and aam rus.. coffee was ok.
Good sitting attachments. Friendly and polite staff. They offers prompt service to their customers. Food preparation is good as we ordered pav bhaji. Taste is also perfect. Overall good experience.
*Awesome pav bhaji
*Awesome Dahi puri
*Coffee was ok.
One of the best joints for chaats in Dubai. I don't think so anyone will get disappointed with their food and taste. Reasonable price, worth for money, it's a small joint just behind the pathan parking space near kfc at Meena bazaar. I will definitely visit again for more food.
If ur from Bombay u can't stop urself coming here like atleast every weekend if you stay nearby, came here 2nd time , ordered vada pav, bhel puri and cheese khada pav bhaji, all of them were simply amazing in taste and quality. Would like everyone to recommend atleast once and then you will always come here..
Fantastic mind blowing food. Authentic Mumbai style. Cheese Pav bhaji is so so good.. and the jumbo wada pav is to die for.... Hope to see more outlets soon...
Best for mumbaikars...yummy mumbai taste.. aam ras was just amazing... The jin dosas had the spicy taste... Waiting for more to taste... Will surely recommend this place if you are missing Mumbai taste do visit Bombay times
Their food did justice to actual street food of aamchi mumbai, as the name suggests. Delivery on time and amazing grilled sandwich with thick layer of cheese. Worth spending.
Looking forward to try more options ❤️
The tawa pulav of this place very good and very good served. Spiciness of Tawa pulav is very good. Duty of this places also a tasty and people are enjoying that.
One of the good places to have maharashtrian food . Price is economical. But the delivery is not up to the mark . I ordered food twice and both the times it took them more than an hour to deliver .
Good service, fast delivery and tasty food. Tried vada pav my favourite, it's the best in Dubai. Bhelpuri, dahi batata Puri are the tastiest.
Bombay times...it really takes us back making nostalgic to the memories we have with Bombay or now Mumbai... and that too with food.
Their masala pav is one of the best I had in dubai and closest to one we have in mumbai.
My take: recommended if you are from Mumbai...and even if you are not.
I love coming here because it reminds me of sweet times in Mumbai. Lovely food, superb service.. Paav bhaji n Vada paav is good along with tasty chutney. But I ll suggest to try their jini dosa, I just loved it.....
Good place for chaat lovers. Went with a friend and tried pani puri and papdi chaat both where awesome. Will surely go back again to try more.
Pav Bhaji is their USP must try !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tiny joint but worth waiting in que for spoiling ur taste buds !!
Their other dishes r gud but Pav Bhaji stands out
Good Mumbai style street food in the heart of Meena bazar. I had Paani puri and Sev puri both were delicious and had that Bombay wala punch. Good place to have snacks while shopping in this area.
Cool place to order indian fast food . Must try dishesh are tawa pulav combos, dal vada and some the places might interest people like pvbhaji and masala pav but i find it too much socked with garam masala then required. Anyways good place to order and even if you like u can go to enjoy live served meal but food joint place is very small and crowded on weekend so one can imagine.
We visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it. We started with panipuri which was one of the best panipuri I have ever had. All the spicy, tangy and sweet mixture of flavors were bursting in my mouth. It was amazing.
Then we had paav bhaji which was too good. Bhaji was tasty, perfect spices and aroma. Paav was soft and fresh.
We had dahipuri, jini dosa and Mumbai masala sandwich. Dahipuri was tasty and dosa was spicy for spicy food lovers. Mumbai sandwich was properly grilled with tasty potato and vegetable filling.
We had sweet lassi and kokam sharbat. Lassi was refreshing and I liked kokam sharbat the most.
Staff is very good, polite and helpful.
We had an amazing evening here and will definitely visit again.
My recommendation: Panipuri and kokam sharbat
The saying, “Do not judge a book by its cover” holds true for this hole in the wall cafe which serves one of the best bombay style snacks and dishes. Tried their famous Jinni dosa... tasted awesome. Loved the burst of flavors in my mouth. Aloo methi paratha was delicious with generous amounts of curd and pickle accompanying it. Cheese pav bhaji was also the usual Bombay style. Do not look for frills, it’s a value for money cafe catering purely to your taste buds :)
The restaurant is small and not much seating is available but the food is totally worth the price,it’s much better than the neighboring restaurants, the parathas and chole bhature are one of the best tasting and authentic I’ve eaten in the city, the food is fulfilling and the restaurant is clean, surely worth a visit
I couldn’t wait to finish my meal to post this review. The food here is so bloody good! And I don’t ever eat Bombay street food- in fact, I stay away.
Here’s pictures from after our meal- SO GOOD! If you love Bombay street food, you have to come here😍
i have never gone to the store, usually get it delivered and they're always on time, the food is great and the prices are very affordable. I usually get breakfast food or the paratha.
A tiny restaurant hidden in the alleys of Meena Bazar. After hearing a lot about this place on social media, we finally decided to try it out And the food did not disappoint us.😋
As we had gone in the afternoon, they did not have chaats or the famous jini dosa.
We ordered the Pav Bhaji with extra pav, the masala sandwich and lemon soda.
Everything tasted great.
The pav bhaji with extra butter was just sooooo amazing !!! Would love to try their chaats and other delicacies on my next visit.
Chats, bhelpuris and golgappas are the best asset of this place. I love their bhelpuri and eith the style they prepare. It is so refreshing which is the most important aspect for me.
Totally enjoy my time whenver am here in this restaurant.
A must visit for all the chaat lovers.
P. S - I will start taking pictures of whatever I eat. I know I need to work on that

Visited this restaurant located at meena bazaar. Where we decided to try out some chaat after a long time. They have a wide range of variety to choose from where we tried some of their best dishes which included, pav bhaji, jini dosa, vada pav and bombay classic sandwich. The vada pav was nice and spicy just the way i love it always. The jini dosa is their speciality dish which is a must try over here. Do try them out.
Pros: quick service, friendly staff, reasonable rates, quantity, quality, wide range of variety.
Cons:
Bombay Times, well known for their Indian Street food is located in one of the busy lanes of Meena Bazaar. Its a cozy, simple Indian street food joint, just the way you want when you are looking for comfort food.
We tried the Junglee Vada Pav, easily one of the best i had. Tawa Classic pav bhaji, was delicious and the pav was buttered generously. Veg grilled cheese sandwich, a delicious filling and topped with lots of cheese, very generous portion. Paneer Tawa Pulao, flavors was extremely delicious and worth trying, its served with Raita & papad. Masala chai is a must try before leaving the restaurant.

Incredible taste of authentic Mumbai Street style food at Bombay Times. We tried pav Bhaji, jini Dosa, cheese grilled sandwich, vada pav and masala chai and I must admit this is hands down the best place to have butter loaded pav Bhaji. Every dish tasted so delicious that I need to visit them again to enjoy all these delicacies. A must must try when you are in Meena bazaar. Do not miss their masala chai.

Situated in a corner on one of the by-lanes in Meena Bazar, this is one of the many outlets you’ll find there. This place is small, with limited seating indoors and outdoors but what sets it apart from the rest is the friendly staff, prompt service, neat and clean tables and the good food. It’s a family-friendly place too.
I visited with my fam and ordered a samosa, Bombay Special Grill Sandwich, Veg. Tawa Pulao and drinks.
The samosa was spicy and tangy, just as expected. The sandwich was delicious, and as per my hubby, tasted similar to the ones served in Pune & Bombay during his college years. I opted for the without cheese version, but you can have it with cheese too. The pulao was served with raita and pappad. It was good. The portion was good enough to share with two.
For drinks, we had a Masala Chai that was sooo good, you have to try it, and a Lime soda.
