الأجواء كانت رائعة والخدمة ممتازة ، الشاب المصري الذي قام بخدمتنا كان أكثر من رائع، للأسف لا اعرف اسمه، شكرا له.
الطعام أيضا لذيذ تناولت ساندوتش بريسكت بالجبنه و عصير كوكتيل بالأناناس كل شي كان معمول بإحترافية.

If you are looking for a fun and yummy place to eat in Melbourne you have found it! The burgers are scrumptious and the pizza is awesome. We had the best service, very friendly and knowledgeable with just the right amount of "table time." We had a great meal and would recommend Jones the Grocer to everyone!!

Really disorganised. Lovely people but waited in the queue on a Friday morning for ages then they had 'forgotten' about us. Lots of apologies. It when we eventually got a table we had to chase down a waiter for menus. Then Chased another one down TEN minutes later to order breakfast. There were lots of families with little ones which is a challenge to a venue. Could be great but SOOO loud and disorganised.

I come here all the time and usually the food and service is on point. Came in today and ordered the chicken and avocado wrap. I'm pretty sure they put Turkey in it because whatever it was it definitely wasn't chicken. The wrap was frozen and the service was really poor. One of the most disappointing lunches I've had in Dubai for a while

As a diagnosed coeliac I was disappointed to be told by the waitress that they don't have a gluten-free menu. I had the grilled Atlantic salmon with baba ganoush. However I was still hungry so asked whether they had a dedicated fryer for their fries which they didn't. Very disappointing.

Their risotto=food poison. I had it today at lunch and spent the whole afternoon in my toilet. My stomach hurts like never before :(

I ordered an office delivery for the first time today, it was the 5 cheese lasagna (as the mac was not available). It arrived on time, but there is no cheese in it, nor anything else for that matter,, just a stack of unseasoned lasagna sheets with a blop of tasteless mozzarella on top. I called Jones the Grocer to give them this feedback and was told that there was cheese in it and that it was the recipie...after insisting there wasn't any cheese, I was told that a supervisor would call me back...guess what, no one has called me back. An overall very expensive and terribly disappointing experience...

Parmiggiano reggiano
Cheese with truffle
Old mature cheddar
And a kind of dolcelatte/hard gorgonzola
All delightfully packed in paper.
When I opened them, all were either dry, or off. The gorgonzola was yellow and residue-ey, the old mature cheddar was basically like plastic, the cheese with truffle was completely un-edible and the parmesan was hard as nails.
I emailed Jones the Grocer - nothing.
Called them - nothing.
When I first emailed, all I wanted was for them to know that they ought'nt sell old/off cheese (at that price), but now I wouldn't mind someone actually saying something.
You shouldn't sell things at great expense, and then not bare the consequences of not doing your job properly.

Good food & unique dishes. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE (indifferent, bordering rude) service... virtually non-communicative staff (with attitudes) and shockingly disorganized & sloppy. Overpriced, & always overcrowded, loud, and HOT (turn up the A/C for Pete's sake)!!

Food was delicious. Although service is something to be desired - barely finished eating still chewing and my plate was swiftly removed from underneath me. Common courtesy and service etiquette is not prevalent here.

This morning I found myself at Jones at 9:10am... The signage on the building says it opens on weekends at 9:00am.
So I pressed the entry button and was let in. I wanted two flat whites and a loaf of bread to takeaway - naturally as it is Ramadan.
Six staff members looked at me blankly. The one in the kitchen by the bread counter didn't even look up from his phone. Then a female staff member busily writing in a notepad stares at me and says, 'we don't open until 9:30am'. I said the signage outside says otherwise. She says, 'so it's wrong'.
I take my leave.
On they way out I say I can understand how their business must be going downhill.
I've been in the industry myself. I know how it works. If a customer comes in, you look after them. ESPECIALLY one who has been coming in from the day you opened.
A customer who has supported you, meet friends for lunch there on numerous occasions, had dinner there, purchased coffee after coffee, even done your cooking courses with the likes of Peter Gordon...
You must be hurting with the Lime Tree down the road and Tom & Serge now across the way...and I can assure you, that after my treatment today, I will not be coming to Jones again.
Incredibly disappointed.
