The pizza had a horrible bitter taste, it was extremely hard and difficult to chew. It had plenty of barbecue sauce on it and jalapenos, although it didnt say in the ingredients description!!! The worst pizza I ate in a long time.

They were super quick! The portion is nice if you have a discount code and I wasn’t expecting the little salad with Parmesan, pretty happy with it! ☺️

Looking for some authentic food in the Jumeirah area head out to Nais Italian Kitchen. From starters to the main course we loved them all they have an option where you can make your own pizza and pasta and even we created our own pizza. They start with some complimentary olive bread. The chef has worked under many Italian chefs for years to master the art of making the perfect pizza so this is place is worth trying out.<br/><br/>We ordered a couple of their starters:<br/>Cheese Garlic Bread, Nais Bresaola e Burrata, Healthy Paleo, Fried shrimp <br/>I really enjoyed the Cheese garlic bread. The healthy paleo salad is my favorite salad made from has the perfect balance of sauce and chicken on it to make it my number 1 choice.<br/>The fried shrimps with the tartar sauce made it the perfect thing to snack on.<br/><br/>We then moved onto the main course:<br/>We ordered Chicken Indiana, Prawn Tagliatelle, Pizza tikka torch and make your own pizza <br/>The base and the sauce of the pizza is made fresh in-house. Chicken Indiana was my favorite pasta to try it. It was creamy and a delight to have. I love Gnocchi and this restaurant serves the best Gnocchi so their food is amazing but the service is really dull. The servers there weren’t available. And the restaurant wasn’t that crowded. Every time I looked for the server I found them coming out of a room like thing but not for our service. A person on the next table actually got up from his seat and took what he wanted from the reception. So I would go again for their amazing food but I would really appreciate it their servers would be available whenever required. 🙂

I tried this place years and years ago when they first opened. Since they were running a delivery special and I fancied pizza I decided to try them out. Three pizza’s and I paid under 100d. What a pleasant surprise, really delicious pizza’s. Tasted similar to Jamie Oliver’s pizza in JLT. However for my personal taste the toppings at Nais are more interesting :-) I would order Pizza from them again without hesitation. They also get brownie points for following my simple instructions..so often when I’ve asked please omit xyz or add something the restaurant staff don’t seem to read the message.

Great place, friendly staff. They let my 9 year old cook her own pizza. Just because of that we go almost every Saturday. The pizza dough is so good that no matter what she (my daughter) does it comes out great. I love the Arancini and my favorite salad is the prawn and avocado for the main I will say the chicken Milanese is my #1 choice followed by the spicy pasta that I cannot remember the name.

Had the Spinach Ravioli today for lunch and well... I had better.  The ravioli was  just smothered in this cheesy sauce which was so over powering I didn't even taste the spinach or the ravioli. The sauce had such a strong after taste I had to pop a piece of candy to get rid of it.

The location is very convenient to me and my colleagues as it's literally a quick walk from the office. Often, we go and indulge into the Italian cuisine they serve, great service too. I wish they had some special discounts of offers for repeat customers like us.

Mediocre food, unfriendly staff and an awkward atmosphere. Worst of all, they wouldn't accept Entertainer, claiming that a large pizza didn't count as a main course. Note to the management: You can't market yourself through The Entertainer and then rip off the customers you attract through the app. That's disgraceful. I won't ever be coming back and I'll make a report to Entertainer too.

We used to have deliveries from this place regularly. One of the few places in Dxb that use to have home style Italian cooking. Sad that the new menu is commercial like a zillion other places.

Went to Nais on a Thursday eve, weather was lovely to sit out but...the place was super dead! The server did not greet us, the menu is limited. Portions very small and all pizzas have rocket leaves on top, thick crust with similar taste..which was quite drab. Overall a boring experience with no charm to the place!

More like not nais.<br/><br/>The food overall was of a decent standard but ridiculously overpriced for small quantities.<br/><br/>The funghi pizza, which a colleague of mine ordered, costed 45 dhs and was probably the size of a kids pizza. Flavourwise, nothing special. <br/><br/>The risotto... Absolutely coated in saffron, completely steering away from the authentic Italian dish we all know...it was more like an Indian spin had been put on the dish. Presented abysmally as well.<br/><br/>Bruschetta and the goats cheese salad were of an average standard. <br/><br/>I would also like to mention that the air conditioning was not working, which contributed to my overall rating. The Nais Boys and Namdev, their manager, were very accommodating from the moment I stepped in their restaurant until I left after settling my bill. My friend and I started with their Cobb Salad which I requested to be added with Quinoa and I must say that it did not disappoint. Their serving was huge enough for two (maybe even more if you aren't that hungry) and the flavors of the salad was very light in the mouth. Namdev suggested that I have their lemon mint juice to cleanse palette and to no avail not only did it cleanse my palette in between courses, its freshness had me rejuvenated from Dubai's humid night. We had their Paglia E Fieno for the main course and while it seemed so small for a serving of pasta you would realize later on that it would fill you just as any other usual serving of pasta would. The tiramisu, on the other hand, was something else. It was the first time I was actually able to taste the bitterness of the coffee that was evened out by the cream. <br/><br/>All in all the experience for me was very pleasant, and I wouldn't mind going back every time I'm in Dubai.

First time I try this place. I got excited when I heard its a hidden gem, but not for long. I have tried their Bruschetta Classica which was good. The bread is very well flavoured and crispy however what ticked me off was olives used inside of it. They were those what I call the plastic jar olives. Paglia e Fieno was the best I had in this place. Its a tomato cream based thin long homemade pasta with onions and mushrooms and the flavours are very homey. Very recommended. As a main course I ordered the Salmon which was cooked too much that it was crispy and dry. The flavours on it were good (fresh dill) however it lacked the sourness and the mashed sweet potatoes isn't the best compliment to it. On a note the plate was supposed to come with artichokes however they didn't have it so they replaced it with cherry tomatoes and that wasn't a good compliment either. <br/><br/>All in all my experience wasn't great. Nice decor , good food . Size of pizza could have been a bit larger or they should have size options . A little expensive place and serving size is quite small for the price u pay. Strangely the place closes by 8:30-9:00 in evening so plan your visit accordingly . I would rate it below pizza express ! But a place worth trying !!

Not sure where to start. If you are on a budget don't come here. If you are hungry don't order. Portion sizes are miniscule and the prices are ruthless. Food quality was subpar and I expected a lot more favor for that price. Pasta was dry and the pizza dough tasted like it was frozen. In the mood for Italian and having read decent reviews here, decided to visit. <br/><br/>Again felt quite disappointed by the ambiance... Especially in an area like JLT where restaurants are sitting on prime indoor outdoor space and could have done sooooooo much more with their space. <br/><br/>Sat down with the promise of authentic Italian to some pretty blah carpaccio di manzo. Neither the plating nor the taste was appealing. <br/><br/>Ordered a pasta with shrimp and delicate lemon butter sauce and a mushroom risotto for mains. Have to commend the freshness of the shrimps. They were amazing. The handmade pasta was just average and by the time it reached my table it was already stiff and caked up and had an overdose of butter that just left a greasy aftertaste in the mouth. <br/><br/>The risotto was pretty decent. Rice as al dente as u want it to be and packed with rich mushroom flavour. Ended with a tiramisu that was also decent with delicate and light mascarpone.<br/><br/>While the menu is quite modestly priced, the value for money is disappointing!<br/><br/>I guess the tiramisu and risotto salvaged the rating of an average 3 but would that take my back to Nais Italian Kitchen? For sure not 😊

A decent work-place lunch. The restaurant is styled really well... loved the green and grey. The pasta is "okay" - bruschetta "could be better"... said that... for the price you pay, you expect much more and you get better italian if you walk around JLT or Marina. The service was mediocre and pretty laid back. Expected more!

I visited this place for a quick work lunch and liked that it had a laid back vibe to it. My friend and I chose this place because it was listed among the few authentic Italian restaurants at the time. Their juice jar was adorable and I enjoyed my tagliatelle pasta. Their Margherita pizza was okay and could do a lot better. We couldn't order desserts cause of time constraints but their Tiramisu is definitely on my list.

The 'plating technique ' is good . It raises your expectations which only comes down a few notches due to the ' taste ' . To start off with , the service is so laid back . It's like you've come to eat , so get on with it . We ordered for a Ravioli and Penne Gamberi. I have to say I've tasted better pasta than this . Perhaps they've got so comfortable with the reputation they have that they don't want to try harder .

NAIS Italian Kitchen is an amazing restaurant. The food is excellent, the waiters are impeccable and the ambiance is outstanding. The dishes are as good if not better than the traditional Italian dishes. I highly recommend it to everyone. My experience was fantastic.

It is nice to see more and more Italian run restaurants opening up in Dubai offering authentic Italian flavours. Nais is one such outlet in JLT having been open for some time and which has been on my radar for awhile.<br/>The cuisine you find here is very much different from what you'd in any other regular Italian joints. The dishes here are mostly from the Northern part of Italy. We tried the Farinata for the starter. This is almost a pancake type of dish made of chickpea and baked in the oven. <br/>For the mains I had a pizza with smoked provolone and a different kind of Cheese which I can't remember right now. I'm not sure if this cheese is meant for pizza. The cheese looked burnt and tasted a bit weird once the pizza got cold.<br/>I can't say that I enjoyed my meal but this place definitely needs another visit or two before and trying out a few more of their dishes before I can give a final verdict.

Nais is great, and I've never had a disappointing experience eating there. This place proudly serves up true North Italian fare, including farinata - its speciality Genoese bread-cum-pancake served with Gorgonzola. Nais' tiramisu is another must; its halaal recipe a miraculous mystery. As for the rest of the menu, don't expect American Italian pizza or any other culinary derivations, but otherwise don't worry - you're in safe artisanal hands.

Fresh burrata like in Italy! Nice service and good food. I had a small issue with my order which they happily replaced. Very simple but clean ambience. Good espresso and cake.

The tiramisu is one of the best I've ever had. Freshly made to your order, so lady fingers still have a crunch to them. Everything on the menu has been tasty. The bruschetta is great, as are most of the pasta dishes.

Price is a bit on the expensive side for a everyday lunch, but I must say the service was great, food awesome, display for the food excellent and ambience was peaceful. The salads tasted fresh, will be going back to try a few other dishes.

The food was good but little servings - I ordered 'Truffled Tagliatelle w/ Carbonara Sauce, what disappoints me is that I found a 'bone' on my food (just my luck that I didn't cut my tongue nor my lips, as it is a sharp bone that I found). When I ask the staff (waiter), what was on my food, he just gave me a blank face reply that it was a 'duck bone' - they didn't do anything nor ask for an apology. In short, they just ignored what I found on my food. For me, they have poor customer service - you won't feel the warm welcome when you enter this restaurant. The place is clean but value for money is on the average side only. I love eating and trying out new places here in Dubai but in this restaurant it will be my first and last visit - and I don't usually do reviews, just on this one as I am really disappointed.

Had the pleasure of trying almost everything on their menu. Authentic casual Italian dining. Love the veggies with the warm creamy dip. A must try and the gnocchi is to die for.

Truth be told, I barely enjoyed anything that I ordered here except for the Lemon 'n Mint drink :-S To be fair, I think this place doesn't serve the regular Italian food that we are used to; it is either way too authentic and traditional or way too contemporary! I am not sure and frankly, if the food tastes delicious I couldn't care less. <br/><br/>We ordered the Farinata - Italian style chickpea pancakes, after a lot of contemplation as it was something very new to us. It looked so tempting that we just dug in right away. While the pancakes were crisp on the outside, the inside was gooey and tasted like raw chickpea. By the time I was done with one I was seriously wondering who would enjoy such a thing! Probably a matter of personal taste... On checking with our waiter he confirmed that this is how these are meant to be. Then I ordered the Cherry Tomato - Burrata - Pesto pizza. Sounded like a great combination of flavours; all being my favourite ingredients. However, the real thing was nowhere close to my expectations :-/ The pizza base is different, almost tasting like a flat croissant of sorts. While the cheese tasted fresh, the pizza lacked any flavour as the pesto sauce was just drizzled on top. I feel if they smear a good amount of the pesto on the crust and top it with the cheese and tomato, it should taste a lot better! Disappointed so far, did not venture into desserts. <br/><br/>Nais is tucked away amongst the many restaurants in the JLT area and can be quite easily missed. Very quiet ambience with minimalistic decor and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food fails to impress.<br/><br/>The verdict: I will not be coming back and would not recommend this place, unless you are adventurous enough to taste some unconventional Italian food. If so, good luck! Hopefully your experience is better than mine ;)

Been here twice and the food is pretty good. The portions are quite huge and suits people with a huge appetite. Gets really busy during lunch hours coz of the office crowd and the service can be improved slightly.

Having just shifted from an Italian region to Dubai, the urge to eat good Italian food comes as a need. As a result, have tried various Italian places in town and finally after having read reviews here, ended up having lunch at Nàis. <br/>First things first, as we are about to enter - one notices a very many number of Italians enjoying lunch - always a good sign when you are about to order food in an Italian restaurant (outside of Italy of course). <br/>In terms of my rating, let me now jump straight to the end - over the years I have bench-marked Italian restaurants (In and outside Italy) by the quality of their tiramisù, a very popular dessert but equally difficult to get it just right. And Nàis scores extremely high on it - close to perfect.  Main course - also very good pasta 'really' al dente. Pizza with burrata and pesto something unique and nice - pesto was really fresh and reminds one of the freshness of the place where it originates from.<br/><br/>Eventually, a bit of a disappointment in terms of service - somehow the warmth was totally missing - All it usually takes is a smile - totally not there unfortunately.  Otherwise the place definitely on my top list of Italian food in Dubai (after having tried a few).<br/><br/>Will I visit again ? Considering it scores very high on food quality and relatively low on price and service - probably yes only when the urge for a great tiramisù returns. <br/><br/>PS - one quick note. A reviewer said parking is an issue - for me not at all, parking for 3 hrs available right in front (Cluster F retail parking)

The best burrata I've had in a long time! The mozarella was so fresh, and we tried the hummus-based farinata which was not bad. Will come back for more, the setting is really nice for such an affordable fare!

This is by far the most authentic and delicious restaurant I've eaten at so far in Dubai. The Parpadelle with mushroom and beef ragu was to die for ! I'm not exaggerating I'm serious as I have a very keen sense of taste and a strong pallete. I will definitely try all their dishes however it is a bit pricey. The pizza was ok, a bit on the oily side though. The pastas are a must to try!!! And the pastas are all freshly made from scratch ?

Well some places like these really needed to be visited time and again what great Italian food , especially when u get served by a waitress who recommends some great choice and top knowledge of the food they serve of tht certain region of Italy , from the soup to the dessert it was all so awesome .... Please do visit and be ready for an awesome meal

A convenient place for a quick bite. I had the pollo salad which was done perfectly. Servic is very efficient and they have both indoor and outdoor sitting. Parking is an issue though so if you plan to come here park in cluster E and walk.

With growing variety of JLT eateries, it was a pleasant surprise to find such a wonderful hidden gem. <br/>My partner and I visited the restaurant mid week for an evening meal. We were cordially welcomed and promptly seated (inside as per our request though they do have abundant outdoor seating). <br/>The venue is airy and light, it was nice to see an Italian eatery with simple modern decor and not the rustic wood style design typical of small Italian restaurants.<br/>The waiter was gracious and patiently walked us through the menu answering all our questions fully with clear knowledge of the ingredients and the dish. <br/>We ordered their speciality chickpea flour pancakes which though dense came with a nice side order of cheeses. Also the bruschetta with cherry tomatoes pops in your mouth with this nice burst of freshness. I would have loved the pancakes with the tomato mix and the cheese.<br/>For mains I had the duck sausage and home made tagliatelle pasta which was fantastic, creamy and heavenly the only small comment would be that it was a little too salty from the duck for my taste but if you are looking for a filling and warm dish this one is for you.<br/>My partner has the lasagna which was DELICIOUS, light fluffy and clearly each component had been lovingly created.<br/>We rounded off the meal with a slice of chocolate cake and a scoop of ice-cream, pleasant but not mind blowing though the waiter did recommend other more popular desserts. <br/>Our total bill came up to around AED160. Considering that we ate very generous portions and the quality of each crafted dish we felt that the value for money was great. <br/>I realise Dubai has infinite food choices, but this place was a fantastic and worth trying at least once. The service and quality are fine dining but the prices and ambience are casual. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Dear travelers (Italians and not Italians), <br/><br/>the best option (actually the only one) to eat excellent Italian cuisine is to go to NAIS, in Jumeirah Lake Towers take a seat and wait for the best: believe me your expectations will be more than fulfilled. <br/><br/>Food is a matter of tastes, like paintings, sculpture, women and I am going to give you my personal point of view from Italian perspective of course, ranking an Italian restaurant. <br/><br/>NAIS is one of the best restaurant I have ever been in my life, cozy place, minimalistic: it looks precisely how it looks on the website.  <br/>It is definitely not the place for a romantic dinner (owners and managers should think about it….) and this is due to the fact that JLT is an office area that becomes empty in the evening. <br/><br/>Apart of that the quality of food is OUTSTANDING. <br/><br/>I come from the Italian area of Monferrato and I could not believe that I could find piedmontese restaurant outside of Piemonte and especially in Dubai. <br/><br/>There is no one dish that is NOT EXCELLENT by presentation, taste and way of cooking. <br/><br/>The cuisine is simple, exactly like real piedmontese kitchen: I still can’t understand where raw materials are taken from, especially if you consider that prices are cheap. <br/><br/>Russian salad Piemontese way, bagna cauda (the real bagna cauda), tuna veal are unbelievable: the quality of food is AMAZING BUT SUCH WORD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. <br/><br/>Truffle pasta is compelling and I hardly remember something similar unless I dig into my far memories, Sunday afternoon spent looking for mushrooms and truffles in Monferrato and Langhe hills. <br/><br/>The crew is super attentive, efficient and always cheerful, the manager too and she is extremely careful to listen to all guests suggestions and recommendation: there are people who go there to see her actually but this is called piedmontese charm…. <br/><br/>My biggest, total, unconditional admiration and respect is for the chef Stefano Bertero whose kitchen, dishes selection, technique and presentation are A MANIFEST OF PIEMONTE IN THE WORLD. <br/><br/>This young chef is such a great chef: couple of times only I had such touching experience in tasting this kind of food and they were both in Monferrato. <br/><br/>Take into account that this place during lunch is kind of pilgrimage point for Italians in Dubai. <br/><br/>I wish more than best to Stefano, all kitchen staff, the whole crew and the restaurant manager. <br/><br/>You are all one of the few real example of Italian excellence in terms of dedication, quality and hospitality. <br/><br/>I really hope you will be more successful since you are simply the best Italian restaurant in Dubai. <br/><br/>Thank you very much for giving always a smile to people after an heavy working morning.  <br/><br/>Especially thank you very much for reviving what’s really priceless, like tasting excellence and bring only good memory of Italy back to our heart and soul.

This restaurant is awesome. All the Italian cuisines are delicious and mouth watering. I would suggest everyone go and try out this place, you will surely enjoy the food.

Nais is a real jewel an excellent italian place in dubai, actually the best italian restaurant (not a chain....). Short menu, peculiar piedmontese dishes from nearby Alessandria, outstanding presentation, great staff and excellent manager.<br/>I have been to top 50 michelin restaurant and I am italian. I can confirm that, if will bisit dubai and you want to try real delicate italian fodd, you should not miss Nais.

I have visited to Nais Italian Kitchen at Jumeirah Lakes Tower for lunch, the food was amazing, so I decided to hire them for catering services for my house warming  party.<br/>The catering services are fantastic and they stole our heart away with their delicious dishes.  We are happy and satisfied with the food and catering services. Had lunch at Nais. It was Nice ! <br/><br/>It is authentic Italian food, so don't go expecting typical fast food Italian.<br/><br/>The food was good but not outstanding.<br/><br/>The tiramisu was perfect.<br/><br/>Why can't restaurants serve local water !

If you want an authentic Italian experience nais is the place to call. It's amazing how the Italians live their food and bring the fantasy to your desirable pallete. My experience with nais kitchen has been no nonsense straight forward simple yet delicious Italian food. And if you don't know what to eat do not sweat the chef recommends a gastro experience which will only make you respect their passion for good food which can leave a long lasting effect on their diners. Not a place a cheap grub but definitely worth the offering which is promised by many but only delivered by few like nais.

I've eaten here several times and the food has been consistently good. The coffee's pretty bad, though - rather sad, for an Italian place.

This review has really been long overdue. We visited Nais Italian Kitchen tucked in a corner at JLT recently. Given the suitable weather we chose to sit outside and enjoy the natural ambiance. We ordered the Vegetariana Pizza and Tagliatta di pollo agli agrumi. Nice presentation I must say. Taste wise the food met the expectations. WIll I visit again? Perhaps- but as I always say there are too many restaurants here in Dubai to be able to visit each more than once, except the outstanding ones, ofcourse!
