(التعليق الأصلي) Lovely place for quick bite of Mexican food. Love the caption on the wall behind the bar - ‘Soup of the day - Tequila’ ! Personally I am not a big fan of tacos, but they were actually very tasty and they have a very good selection. I tried the fried octopus legs on a bed of creamy cheese rice and that was awesome! Plenty of space both inside and outside! Outside is pool side! As with other restaurants at the Studio One hotel, the ambiance is vibrant and friendly! Not so easy to find parking around as it is always busy, but they offer valet parking!

Portion sizes were so small, I'd rather have used a magnifying glass to eat. We weren't made aware that certain items were not available and were informed only when we wanted to order them. That should have been a major red flag, but after carrying on with our miniature meal, we realised that all the items ordered were way too small compared to the price we paid. 40-60 dirhams, for an appetizer sized portion. They clearly wanted us to leave hungry. Ridiculously expensive for such a tiny portion size. Please don't even consider this place.

Didn’t even get a chance to sit down and have any food!!! The restaurant wanted to charge us 49dhs for a frozen margarita on a dry night which was the same price when they do put alcohol in it . They said they couldn’t manipulate/override their systems and put it in as something else as their books wouldn’t add up at the end of the night So we all left .... I won’t be rushing back !

Food was nice but price is not worth the portion size. They even charged us AED 21 for a small can of Pepsi. This is a normal casual dine restaurant not fine dine where you can expect to pay sm”slightly” more for Pepsi! It was daylight robbery and I am still not able to get over this extortion. When questioning the bill, the waiter and front house manager also laughed and could imagine how we were feeling! Will never return!

If there was one way to tutor someone on what NOT to do with Mexican food, please come knockin’ on the door of this joint. Apparently, Mexico has lost its sense of taste. Cheese and sour cream are the pillars of what qualifies as a flavour profile. Do yourselves a flavour, find your nearest supermarket, buy the tinned stuff and save your money.

The restaurant was running event ads on their social media for a TACO Night event indicating a specific day & time. Based on this, I came there with a group of friends and we stood in front of a closed door. Absolutely disappointing & highly unprofessional! No apology from the restaurant.

Cute little quiet place. I went on a Tuesday night which was also a ladies night so got 1+1 off on my drinks. Portion size is fairly small for the price but the ambience and vibes are great of the place.

I was really hoping it will be a different Mexican restaurant that would truly represent Mexican cuisine. Well it’s not. It is another typical restaurant that serves tacos and quesadillas, though they offer few other dishes. Food was average, a bit tasteless. Well the taco with shrimp was very good. Also they could work on service, hostess was friendly but the rest of the staff could be better.

Oh, El Chapo.... I WANTED to love you. I had hoped your menu would have been a jail break from the monotony of Dubai cuisine. All I ordered was a margarita and the Al pastor taco (a staple of any mexican upbringing)..... what I got instead of fond memories of mexico, was the prison food equivalent. The margarita lacked the citrus flavor and overused Iodized salt (your basic tequila is not good enough to hide the horrible taste of the cheap salt).... I had to ask for extra lime juice just to make it drinkable. The al pastor taco would have been so much better if the corn tortillas were warm off the griddle and the pineapple piece larger. The chicken was flavorful, but the rest of the taco was guilty of fraud. The venue itself needs to add "regular lighting" into the space..... red light is not fooling anyone.... your food just looks unattractive. (See my pics below) Lastly, for the love of Taco!, please publish your menu on Zomato! The selling feature of your own house tequila is "lost" without ppl being able to see the menu.

It's a resturant/bar . Has a cool vibe. We tried it on a Thursday night and it was packed when we came in at 830...that really makes me wonder why there are no reviews of this outlet here Gaucamole is made on the spot at your table is w must try...we quite liked the rib eye tacos as well. The music is on the louder side ...its a fun place but wont go there if I'm looking to have a conversation over a meal !
