Dinner 🍽 @ pasticceria Cova Cafe in Dubai Mall. A fine dining restaurant serving Italian cuisine with a b’ful view of fountain!
We were served variety of bread first. We tried salmon tramezzini for 52/- Dhs which was brown bread sandwixh with smoked salmon , lettuce 🥬 n mayonnaise & was served along with potato 🥔 wafers - absolutely yummy! Spaghetti di Grano for 78/- Dhs was very tasty 😋 as basil herb 🌿 and tomato flavor absolutely elevated the taste of this freshly made spaghetti 🍝.
Risotto porcini for Dhs 110/- was absolutely delicious with its creamy mushroom flavor!
Along with the yummy dishes the gorgeous view make for an amazing experience !
I loved the Salmon Brie cheese, but they all looked so amazing that I’ll need to comeback and try the other flavors! Kind and friendly staff love it.

Loved the place, the view and the service. We had ice cream, tiramisu and mocha. The desserts were yum. Definitely my new fav spot in Dubai mall!
This is a hidden gem. A true classic Italian experience with the finest view of the Dubai Mall fountain.
Dessert- They serve the best mango and lime sorbet.
Main course- The seafood platter and the salmon in pistachio are to die for. I am very particular about how salmon is to be cooked and they got it going right.
Special thanks to the supervisor Mr. Noel for suggesting us these tantalizing dishes on the menu.
The cafe is a charming and quaint place to hang out. It is tucked in a small corner amidst the luxurious fashion brands of Dubai Mall. We were warmly welcomed by the Manager, Ahmed, and was led to the balcony to enjoy the view of the fountain. We ordered cappuccino and short breads to start. The short breads were soft and sweet but in a good way and perfect for our cappuccino. After finishing our coffee, we were suggested their set menu which included an appetizer, main course and dessert. The food was amazing and very filling! The taste was truly authentic Italian without breaking your wallet. Overall an amazing restaurant. I would recommend this to my friends and family!
I was here with my friend and we had the best time ever. The view of the fountain from the outside is something I haven't seem before. Not to forget the scrumptious cake and sea food platter. They serve some pretty good unique food and have very welcoming staff. I can visit Cova for any occasionally and they will ensure it is worth it. Try their Italian cake ( Panettone) it is to die for * drool*
I basically go there every weekend morning. Its so quiet at that time. I adore their mini pastries and biscuits and their coffee is really delicious too. Their customer service is top notch.

Great F & B collection of coffee, cookies, sandwiches, chocolates etc...service is superfast n very attentive staff 👌😊 Keep it up guys👍
Nice desserts and nice coffee, service was good also, but water glasses was not clean when served it have odor smell, should use dishwasher to sanitize.the prices is higher in similar cafes in same section
This review is based on their drinks and desserts as I haven’t had a chance to try their food. Their service is on point, fresh juices are perfectly balanced and their passion fruit coconut cake is divine. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is because of the confusion when it comes to ordering desserts. They have way too many options of mini pastries, they should really have a tray that they bring to the table to show what’s available or a specific menu detailing everything.
One of my favorite places to eat.😘 great Italian food, warm and friendly crew. We had the gnocchi and some mango mouse & cream puffs. Ill be coming back for more.😘👍🏼
One of the best places in town !
The sweet and chocolates selection is great , try their mango cake ! Perfect for Dubai’s hot weather
Service is amazing the staff are lovely , they would never say no and always try their best to please the customer
The decor is PERFECT ! If you want to feel like you have moved in time to a vintage cafe in Italy this is the place
A landmark on its own, Cova first appeared in Milan at the beginning of 19th century; soon transforming into a place to see and be seen. With irresistible aromas of freshly baked pastry mixed with intense espresso, Cova immediately won hearts and minds. While many went in in expectation of exceptional delicacies, others fell in love with Cova’s elegant design accented by a bit of a sparkle from their crystal chandeliers and decorative glass. Forced to relocate following the WWII, Cova sustained the ambiance of aristocratic luxury and delicious recipes being once again the destination for a stylish dining experience. No wonder Downtown Fashion Avenue in the trendiest shopping district was selected for Dubai’s flagship.
Designed to resemble the original location, with prevalent classic oak furniture adorned with branded dark blue and gold, Cova Dubai is so Milanese. As I walked through the restaurant (my tongue refuses to call Cova a café), a feeling of glorious heritage kicked in, adding a rare emotion: “Look, this place has a past” as opposed to the usual “shine bright like a diamond” local interiors. While I debated with the rising sun if the weather would permit us to sit outdoors, my waiter gently placed a well-printed menu of the closest to the window table and gently pushed a chair out for me. If only all decisions were that easy!
The lunch rush was ending and I witnessed a transformation from super buzzy to stylishly reserved. Only a few were leaving empty handed, many opted to carry a little box of Cova’s chocolates or delicate looking cakes. I turned my head to the menu hoping for a serving of creamy burrata. My habit of reviewing online menus prior to a visit always pays off.
Once settled in a very comfortable chair, probably one of the best restaurant chairs in Dubai, I suddenly felt very hungry; a result of watching the tables around me. A few sips of sparkling water helped and I occupied my mind with the upcoming order. The burrata was accompanied by beautifully sliced veggies and left me happy. It was sweet, creamy and as delicious as I imagined it to be. My penne in pink sauce, sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan was excellent in its simplicity. The veal Milanese, coated in crunchy bits, was very tender and accompanied by a side dish of finely chopped ratatouille a la Provençale.
What followed was a trip to the terrace and a cup of coffee in a special Cova cup paired with the best tiramisu in the city. Come and try for yourself!
